With fools like this running around, I fear for the future of the younger generations growing up today.

With liberal morons like this is charge they will be screwed.

In many major cities like Washington D.C., unfortunately being mugged is a way of life. However, one student at Georgetown University was not only blase about his recent mugging, but actually believes he deserved it because he was “privileged.”

According to his op-ed in The Hoya, which is Georgetown University’s school newspaper, Oliver Friedfeld wrote about his recent mugging and described it this way:

Last weekend, my housemate and I were mugged at gunpoint while walking home from Dupont Circle. The entire incident lasted under a minute, as I was forced to the floor, handed over my phone and was patted down.

He wants you to know that he doesn’t think his attackers were bad people. Not all, in fact,  he knows why they did it. It’s because of income inequality and class oppression. Sigh.

And yet, when a reporter asked whether I was surprised that this happened in Georgetown, I immediately answered: “Not at all.” It was so clear to me that we live in the most privileged neighborhood within a city that has historically been, and continues to be, harshly unequal. While we aren’t often confronted by this stark reality west of Rock Creek Park, the economic inequality is very real.

I can’t wait to see the defense at trial when police finally catch these thieves. Maybe the thieves can say instead of robbing Mr. Friedfeld and his housemate, they were just merely  “checking their privilege.”

“Privilege” has been in the news a lot lately. It seems that the left has been using this word a lot in related to everything from Ferguson to “Gamergate.” The term comes from critical theory or Cultural Marxism which tries to break down all societal relationships between “privileged and oppressed.” Here’s a better explanation:

That is to say, where there is a distinction between two groups of people, their relationship will be one of oppressed versus oppressor or, in other words, good and bad people. In addition to this, the group who is better off, or perceived to be better off (privileged), is automatically the guilty party. Anyone the cultural Marxists label as ‘privileged’ is the enemy of society, the only safe position is to be or appear to be a helpless victim.

This is the basis of the class, gender, and racial warfare that has been waged by the left against the country. It’s a deliberate strategy to render millions of Americans into Oliver Friedfelds: So ashamed of who they are (whether or not they did anything wrong) to fight back against those who are oppressing them in reality.

Like the guys sticking a gun in your face to rob you; as fitting a ‘reification of government oppression as it gets.

But that’s how leftist ideology works for the true believers – it makes you so detached from reality to see what’s going on in front of your face and so ‘selfless’ you won’t even dare to defend yourself.
