This Chicago area concealed carrier made a good gang banger out of the punk that invaded his home.

Chicago has earned a reputation for being one of the most violent cities in America. On Monday night, a homeowner in Chicago’s West Side refused to become another victim.

According to WGN, the intended victim was a 58-year-old male. He told police that when he heard someone enter his home to rob him, he got his gun, which he has a concealed carry license for.

The resident ended up shooting the intruder in the back of the head. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The local police identified the home invader as a 23-year-old local gang member.

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel has fallen under harsh criticism for not being able to curb the violence in the city. The violence is bad enough that President Donald Trump offered federal help in January 2017.

If Chicago doesn’t fix the horrible “carnage” going on, 228 shootings in 2017 with 42 killings (up 24% from 2016), I will send in the Feds!

Because of political grudges, Emanuel has refused the president’s help.

In December 2017, Cook County Commissioner Richard Boykin went before the United Nations to ask for help:

“The United Nations has a track record of protecting minority populations. We have to do something. Black people in Chicago make up 30 percent of the population but 80 percent of those who are killed by gun violence.”

Thankfully, citizens are still able to rely on the Second Amendment to defend their homes and livelihood.
