A son of Obama tries to break in and rob white students.

A white student pulls a legally owned handgun and is

able to scare off the son of Obama.

Now the white student is facing possible expulsion

because said student was unaware of the firearms rule.

Gonzaga Students Erik Fagan and Dan McIntosh face possible expulsion from the university for pulling a gun on an intruder.

SPOKANE, Wash. – Two Gonzaga students are facing possible expulsion from the University after they pulled a weapon in self defense as a six time felon attempted to get into their on campus apartment. According to the student handbook, students may not possess handguns on campus or university owned property.

On Friday a university discipline board decided to move forward with sanctions, including possible expulsion, for using the weapons. The students will learn in the near future about their future with the school. It all happened late in the night on October 24th when roommates Erik Fagan and Dan McIntosh were hanging out in their university owned apartment.

At 10:15 Fagan answered the door and was greeted by John Taylor. John TaylorTaylor is a felon with an extensive criminal history and when he arrived Fagan said Taylor showed him what appeared to be an ankle bracelet as he tried to intimidate him. Fagan said Taylor then demanded money and was frustrated when he was turned down.

Taylor then attempted to force entry into the apartment. At that point McIntosh brandished his pistol. McIntosh has a concealed weapons permit for the gun and did not know it was in violation of policy at the time. Once Taylor saw the gun he left the property. McIntosh said Spokane Police took Taylor into custody after their report because he was wanted on a Department of Corrections warrant.

Gonzaga released a statement speaking of their long standing weapons policy that has been in effect. The University says the policy has been in place to reduce threats to the school. This story is developing and will be updated as more information becomes available.

Need Help — Living Arrangement in Peril

This is from Teresamerica.

We have a friend in desperate need of help.

There is a tip jar button on her blog.

Please if at all possible hit her tip jar.

Any amount will be a big help.

Thank-You and may God Bless.

This is something I don’t want to post but need to post.  Pretty much every time I’ve had health troubles my hubby and I have had financial troubles.  I have been out of work since September due to a number of health issues.  Part of the reason is also due to the fact that the owner and employees of the apartment complex refused/refuses to do anything about the roaches in our building and other maintenance stuff.  After living in the same apartment for 4 years roaches suddenly appeared.  A young guy with his child who lived at the complex for only a few months brought the roaches into our building.  Another tenant saw roaches crawling all over garbage bags as the guy cleaned up before leaving his apartment. Another tenant noticed So we’ve spent a decent amount on roach traps, bags for the food, dishes, and silverware and other items to try and get rid of the roaches.  Plus the staff made an error on our lease renewal which we were penalized for, which  put us in arrears at least $1000.

There was a court date at the beginning of May.  The office staff told us that if we came up with $2000 then they wouldn’t evict us.  It took us a little while to come up with that kind of cash. But ever since we did, my husband has been trying to contact the office staff and the phone reroutes his call, they won’t return our messages, and just plain refuse to talk to us.  Recently, we got an eviction notice so we have until Monday to be out of our apartment.

I don’t know what we are going to do.  We have two cats that are a part of our family.  They have been my saving grace especially after having my hysterectomy, with the loss of not being able to have children.  I have posted a hat tip jar donation button on the sidebar of the blog.  If there is any advice or donations you are able to give that would most appreciated.

I want to send a big thank you to Opus at American Perspective for her most generous donation.

It seems Washington States draconian gun laws are a failure.

I have a radical idea for the goofs running Washington State

give your residents Second Amendment Rights .

Five people were killed in a shooting at an apartment complex near Seattle late on Sunday, including a suspect who was shot by officers, police said.

Officers were alerted to a shooting in progress at around 9:30 p.m. local time (12:30 a.m. ET) by an emergency call from the complex in Federal Way, which is between Seattle and Tacoma, police spokeswoman Cathy Schrock said in a statement.

Gunshots were still being heard when officers arrived at the complex, she added.

“As officers assessed the scene two males could be seen in the parking lot injured,” Schrock said.  “An officer attempted to rescue the men, and as the (police officer) approached, one of the males on the ground reached for a weapon.”

This led to police officers firing on the suspects, she said. Three men were confirmed dead in the parking lot, and a woman and another man were found dead in a nearby apartment, police said.

No officers were injured in the incident, and eight police were placed on administrative leave after the shootings. This is standard policy for officers involved in shootings, Schrock said.

While there was no word on what caused the gunfire, police said they did not think another shooter was on the loose. Police said they would provide more information at a 11:30 a.m. PT (2:30 p.m. ET) press conference.
