School Forced To Apologize To Student After Requiring Her To Pull Bible Quote From Assignment

This from Western Journalism.

If Mackenzie Fraiser had quoted The Satanic Verses   aka the Quran, she would have been applauded.

A Nevada school was forced to apologize after repeatedly denying one of its students the opportunity to incorporate the Bible into her class assignments.

Mackenzie Fraiser, 12, is a sixth grader at Somerset Academy, a charter school in North Las Vegas, Nevada. In February, her technology teacher assigned the class a project to create a PowerPoint presentation entitled, “All About Me.”

One of the requirements of the presentation was that the students include a slide with an inspirational quotation. Mackenzie is a Christian and the daughter of a pastor. For her quote, she chose John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Her teacher informed Mackenzie that because of school policy, she could not use a Bible verse in her presentation.

Mackenzie told her parents that she was disappointed, but followed the teacher’s guidance and replaced it with a non-Bible quote.

The issue of using Bible verses came up again a few months later, when her Leadership teacher assigned the class a project creating a presentation about the source of their self-esteem.

Her parents, in discussing the assignment with Mackenzie, encouraged her to share in her presentation that the core of her self-esteem comes from her identity as a child of God and include what the Bible has to say about her.

Based on her experience a few months prior and the teacher’s instructions for the project, Mackenzie told her parents that she would not be allowed to make any reference to her faith in the presentation.

Her father, Tim, felt that Mackenzie must have misunderstood what the teacher said and contacted the school by email. He asked for clarification regarding quoting the Bible in the PowerPoint assignments, stating that if students were being denied the use of scriptural quotations, that would be a violation of their right to free speech.

The school responded, referencing the February assignment and stating that while Department of Education policy recognizes students’ rights to engage in private prayer or non-classroom religious discussions, that it does not permit introducing religious content into the classroom. The school’s assistant principal wrote:

When Mackenzie created the project with the expectation she would present the Biblical saying to the class, the matter became one of having a captive audience that would be subject to her religious beliefs. Had the assignment been designed to simply hand in for a grade, this would not have been an issue. Therefore, considering the circumstances of the assignment, Miss Jardine appropriately followed school law expectations by asking Mackenzie to choose an alternate quote for the presentation.

Mackenzie’s parents contacted the Liberty Institute, which agreed to take on their daughter’s case.

Jeremy Dys, senior counsel with the organization, sent a letter to the Somerset school principal and its board of directors. The letter set the school straight on both the Department of Education’s guidance concerning religious expression and, more importantly, Mackenzie’s free speech rights guaranteed by the Constitution.

Dys quoted the Department of Education’s guidelines:

Students may express their beliefs about religion in homework, artwork, and other written and oral assignments free from discrimination based on the religious content of their submissions. Such home and classroom work should be judged by ordinary academic standards of substance and relevance and against other legitimate pedagogical concerns identified by the school.

He also quoted the Supreme Court regarding the religious liberty rights of students in the classroom. While the high court held in the seminal Abington v. Schempp (1963) case that schools could not force students to read the Bible as part of the curricula, it recognized students’ right to express those beliefs in school. Further, the justices made clear teachers can incorporate the Bible in the classroom when not being presented as the official religion of the government.

The court noted: “[T]he State may not establish a ‘religion of secularism’ in the sense of affirmatively opposing or showing hostility to religion, thus ‘preferring those who believe in no religion over those who do believe.’”

The Liberty Institute’s demand letter also cited, Tinker v. Des Moines Indep. Cmty. Sch. Dist. (1969) in which the court states, “It can hardly be argued that either students or teachers shed their constitutional rights to freedom of speech or expression at the schoolhouse gate.”

Dys explained to Fox News’ Todd Starnes that Somerset School had done just what the Supreme Court identified as in error regarding its actions towards Mackenzie. “I think at the heart of this incident is that students are allowed and need to be allowed to express their beliefs in their class assignments,” he said, “If a school official tells students that their beliefs cannot be expressed in class assignments, it teaches them that religion is bad.”

Dys gave the school 10 days from the date of his letter to issue a written apology to Mackenzie and allow her to resubmit her original assignment with her religious quotations or face legal action.

On Friday, the school issued a formal apology:

After reviewing the facts of this particular situation, Somerset Academy recognizes that the teacher and assistant principal incorrectly implemented [Department of Education] guidelines. Somerset Academy of Las Vegas and its Administrators apologize for this inadvertent error. Expression of a student’s religious beliefs in the form of homework, artwork, and other written or oral assignments is protected speech and should have been allowed in this instance…The student will be allowed to resubmit her original presentation, inclusive of her religious beliefs.

The Constitution once again wins the day.

40 mind-blowing quotes from Barack Obama about Islam and Christianity

This is from Young Conservatives.

There never has been a doubt in my mind Barack Obama is a Muslim.

He says the Muslim call to prayers is the prettiest sound on earth and he wears a ring with the Aribic inscription say there is no god but Allah.

I do not know of any Christian that would wear such a ring.

This is a great list highlighting how radical President Obama is when it comes to Islam and Christianity.

20 Quotes By Barack Obama About Christianity and the Bible

#1 “Whatever we once were, we are no longer a Christian nation”

#2 “We do not consider ourselves a Christian nation.”

#3 “Which passages of scripture should guide our public policy?  Should we go with Leviticus, which suggests slavery is OK and that eating shellfish is an abomination?  Or we could go with Deuteronomy, which suggests stoning your child if he strays from the faith?”

#4 “Even those who claim the Bible’s inerrancy make distinctions between Scriptural edicts, sensing that some passages – the Ten Commandments, say, or a belief in Christ’s divinity – are central to Christian faith, while others are more culturally specific and may be modified to accommodate modern life.”

#5 “The American people intuitively understand this, which is why the majority of Catholics practice birth control and some of those opposed to gay marriage nevertheless are opposed to a Constitutional amendment to ban it. Religious leadership need not accept such wisdom in counseling their flocks, but they should recognize this wisdom in their politics.”

Over the past 5 years, Obama has never one time refuted any claims or comments made about him being the liberal savior.

#6 From Obama’s book, The Audacity of Hope: “I am not willing to have the state deny American citizens a civil union that confers equivalent rights on such basic matters as hospital visitation or health insurance coverage simply because the people they love are of the same sex—nor am I willing to accept a reading of the Bible that considers an obscure line in Romans to be more defining of Christianity than the Sermon on the Mount.”

#7 Obama’s response when asked what his definition of sin is: “Being out of alignment with my values.”

#8 “If all it took was someone proclaiming I believe Jesus Christ and that he died for my sins, and that was all there was to it, people wouldn’t have to keep coming to church, would they.”

#9 “This is something that I’m sure I’d have serious debates with my fellow Christians about. I think that the difficult thing about any religion, including Christianity, is that at some level there is a call to evangelize and prostelytize. There’s the belief, certainly in some quarters, that people haven’t embraced Jesus Christ as their personal savior that they’re going to hell.”

#10 “I find it hard to believe that my God would consign four-fifths of the world to hell.  I can’t imagine that my God would allow some little Hindu kid in India who never interacts with the Christian faith to somehow burn for all eternity.  That’s just not part of my religious makeup.”

#11 “I don’t presume to have knowledge of what happens after I die. But I feel very strongly that whether the reward is in the here and now or in the hereafter, the aligning myself to my faith and my values is a good thing.”

#12 “I’ve said this before, and I know this raises questions in the minds of some evangelicals. I do not believe that my mother, who never formally embraced Christianity as far as I know … I do not believe she went to hell.”

#13 Those opposed to abortion cannot simply invoke God’s will–they have to explain why abortion violates some principle that is accessible to people of all faiths.”

#14 On his support for civil unions for gay couples: “If people find that controversial then I would just refer them to the Sermon on the Mount.”

#15 “You got into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton Administration, and the Bush Administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”

#16 “In our household, the Bible, the Koran and the Bhagavad Gita sat on the shelf alongside books of Greek and Norse and African mythology”

#17 “On Easter or Christmas Day, my mother might drag me to church, just as she dragged me to the Buddhist temple, the Chinese New Year celebration, the Shinto shrine, and ancient Hawaiian burial sites.”

#18 “We have Jews, Muslims, Hindus, atheists, agnostics, Buddhists, and their own path to grace is one that we have to revere and respect as much as our own”

#19 “All of us have a responsibility to work for the day when the mothers of Israelis and Palestinians can see their children grow up without fear; when the Holy Land of the three great faiths is the place of peace that God intended it to be; when Jerusalem is a secure and lasting home for Jews and Christians and Muslims, and a place for all of the children of Abraham to mingle peacefully together as in the story of Isra— (applause) — as in the story of Isra, when Moses, Jesus, and Mohammed, peace be upon them, joined in prayer.  (Applause.)”

#20 “I believe that there are many paths to the same place, and that is a belief that there is a higher power, a belief that we are connected as a people.”

VA Chaplain: Gov’t Made Me Hide Crosses and Pictures of Jesus, Banned Me From Reading Bible Aloud

This is from Independent Journal Review.

Between Obama, the Atheist and the Muslims, Christians are under a tremendous amount pressure.

Sadly, these attacks will only get worse.

Revelation 6:9-11

King James Version (KJV)

And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

In the wake of the ever-growing VA scandal, actions at the Iron Mountain VA Hospital in Michigan may not have gotten quite as much press as many feel they should.

Patsy Norton, when walking into Iron Mountain’s VA chapel, was appalled to find every sign of Christianity hidden from sight. She detailed her shock in this letter, published by Joe For America:

May 30, 2014
The Daily News

I went to the VA Hospital in Iron Mountain today on business. While there I stopped at the Chapel and found pinky-purple curtains with mesh at the top, covering the altar. (You know the type. They use them between sick patients in the hospital).

I stopped in my tracks, shocked at what I saw. I peeked behind the curtain, and found what used to be the welcoming part of the chapel, the Cross, a picture of Jesus, and other Christian icons familiar to the majority of Americans.

I found Chaplain Bob Mueller, to ask what the meaning was of this change. This is what he told me. “A couple of months ago, an order came down from Washington DC to cover all things associated with Christianity in the VA. Their solution is to cover everything in all the VA Chapels across the country.”

Patsy Norton

Norton also said that the chaplain was told to “stop talking about Jesus, and to stop reading Scripture out loud.”

The repression of Christianity isn’t limited to Iron Mountain, but has been reported in VA facilities all over the country:

Last Christmas a group of Georgia high school students were given a list of government-approved carols to sing at a VA hospital in Augusta and a VA hospital in Texas refused to accept holiday cards that included the phrase, “Merry Christmas.”

Not only are these actions a symbol of religious intolerance, but they are another nail in the coffin, so to speak, of the state of the Veterans Administration.

Taking care of our veterans is one of our government’s utmost responsibilities. Limiting their religious freedoms and blocking them from medical care should not be tolerated.

New School Prayer Written by a Kid: Reflections on Shunning God

This is from Clash Daily.

This article makes you reflect on society and where it is headed.

This is an analysis of a new school prayer written by a 15 year old kid. It accurately explains modern US society and depicts how infected it is by liberalism. It also reflects that of Australian society, which is largely influenced by British and American. People can no longer pray freely without criticism or persecution in the US. This is the same in Australia. One only needs to read the (rightly) bygone secularist liberalist magazine, The Week, to understand the rampant secularism in Australian public schools. The secularism in Australia is just as bad as that in America, if not worse.

Any mention of Creationism instantly arouses the suspicion of hardline secularists in their attempt to get “rid” of God. Any silence by the issue of homosexual “marriage” is deemed to warrant hard questioning of one’s views about homosexual “marriage”, discrimination and homosexuality itself. Any criticism of the liberalist secular woman is deemed to warrant examination into the private views of the individual who dares make such as criticism. Universities are, of course, infiltrated by atheist groups who actively campaign for the elimination of all laws that ban euthanasia and abortion, arguing that such laws are based purely on religious reasons.

Political correctness and tolerance are the tenets of the Australian secular religion of human rights. The only wrong is to adhere to the dinosaur’s belief that there are absolute truths, absolute morality, and absolute virtue. Anyone who thinks this way is a bigot and thus is to be reserved the greatest scrutiny and scorn of the “reasonable”, “right-thinking” tolerant Australian public who does not force one’s beliefs onto another.

About 75% of Queenslanders are “cohabiting”, the politically correct word for “living in sin”. The word sin is not allowed in Australian public. Anyone who even thinks there is such a thing as sin is deemed to be “biased”. That people think this way shows that people want to reject God’s standards of morality, despite its logicality, and how arrogant people are to think that their standards can even be near the standards of God’s moral law.

Many Christians in Australia have bought into the idea of tolerance and political correctness. Some even think that it is good to be politically correct because it “stops racism and discrimination” they say.

Political correctness has nothing to do with stopping racism or any discrimination whatsoever. It is about tolerating what people do even when it is absolutely wrong and replacing God’s standards of morality with its own. Proponents of political correctness fear offending men (or women, for the sake of political correctness) but revel in offending God.

Pro-political correctness groups readily protect their beloved groups because those groups are more likely to buy into the scheme of tolerance either out of sympathy, naivete or self-interest: women, homosexuals, refugees, immigrants, Muslims, and people of any religion but Christianity and Judaism. Yet, when it comes to certain policies that hurt some of these particular groups, such as immigrants they are silent.

The real motive of political correctness is to create a morally relativistic one: morality that is “created” by the individual, an extremely anti-Christian idea. Many Christians, though, stay silent. It won’t be long until the word “God” and going to Church is illegal in Australia – because Australians, like the Americans at large, want to get rid of any vestige of God. God is made to be a “thing of the past”. Hence, the new school prayer written by the 15 –year-old US kid:

NEW School prayer:
Now I sit me down in school
Where praying is against the rule

For this great nation under God
Finds mention of Him very odd.

If scripture now the class recites,
It violates the Bill of Rights.

And anytime my head I bow
Becomes a Federal matter now.

Our hair can be purple, orange or green,
That’s no offense; it’s a freedom scene..

The law is specific, the law is precise.
Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice.

For praying in a public hall
Might offend someone with no faith at all..

In silence alone we must meditate,
God’s name is prohibited by the United States.

We’re allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,
And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks…

Guns are allowed, but Not the Bible.
To quote the Good Book makes me liable.

We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen,
And the “unwed daddy”, our Senior King.

It’s “inappropriate” to teach right from wrong,
We’re taught that such “judgments” do not belong..

We can get our condoms and birth controls,
Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles…

But the Ten Commandments are not allowed,
No word of God must reach this crowd.

It’s scary here I must confess,
When chaos reigns the school’s a mess.

So, Lord, this silent plea I make:
Should I be shot; My soul please take!

This is from BarbWire.

I sadly do not see our slide in to Reprobation to slow down or even stop.

There is one hope to slow America down and stop her slide is by turning back to God.

People say God needs to Bless America I want to rephrase that to America needs to Bless God.

Isaiah 5:20-21

King James Version (KJV)

20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

By Michael Bresciani – BarbWire guest contributor

The dictionary definition of “reprobation” pales against the Biblical definition.

The word “reprobation” in the Bible refers to something far more than simple immorality.  It is the inability to hear, understand and implement truth and morality.  People with reprobate minds find it impossible to discern right and wrong.

The Bible says God gives men over to a state of reprobation as we collectively approach the last days of time before the second coming of Christ. The word is used in Romans 1: 28, one of the most frightening prophetic statements in all of scripture.

Speaking of conditions preceding the last days, the Apostle Paul declared, “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind…”

The phrase “God gave them over is enough to make us shudder when considering that if God gives us up, redemption and any chance of recovery is literally impossible.

Oddly, most dictionary definitions include a rendering of the word that clearly indicates that people don’t just fall into reprobation, they willfully labor to get into this state.

Synonyms of “reprobate” include words like ban, forbid, prohibit, rebuff, repel, spurn, check, constrain, curb, repress, restrain, restrict, balk (at), hinder, impede, and obstruct.  But what is being impeded or obstructed by the collective minds and hearts of the last days crowd?

In the simplest terms, all that pertains to God, righteousness and morality is shunned in an atmosphere of self-indulgence and lawlessness.

Before reprobation sets in on a generation, they may be found acknowledging and repenting of their sins. After reprobation begins to take root, they are found affirming and celebrating their sins.

Nowadays, anyone calling out the sin is called a hater of the sinner. The lawless then turn to the law to force acceptance of their lawlessness.  It is a vicious cycle that leads to destruction.

If you want to lust for those of your own gender you must be protected by the law to do so, and even the suggestion of someone counseling you to avoid the temptation must be silenced. Several states have adopted laws to stop counseling to change the minds of youngsters who are inclined toward their own sex.

The law of God is being sidestepped by popular trends, PC notions of diversity, and the ‘new morality,’ which is only amorality (disregard of all morality) passing itself off under a new name.

Changing the laws is a means of changing definitions of social institutions to remove from life any  borders or parameters that define good and evil.

When all of this reaches its peak we will be ready for the world’s last dictator: a ruler long prophesied to come in the last days. He will be called the “lawless one” (2 Thess 2:8 NAS) according to the Apostle Paul.

A ruler who lives without laws may seem like the perfect non-sequitur until it is revealed that the antichrist changes the laws to fit his own view of right and wrong. Being the incarnation of the Devil himself means that his view is always the exact opposite of God and is always wrong. A perfect type of the antichrist is Barack Obama. He rules, but according to — mis-rule.

Gay marriage and abortion, Obama’s preferred social causes, are antichrist in nature. Then there are his anti-American policies such as coddling our enemies, blocking the recovery of our own natural resources, jumping headfirst into the great global warming hoax, allowing government agencies (IRS) to push his political agenda, and the wasting of the lives of soldiers and public servants without anyone answering to the law (Benghazi).

This kind of law is not what was long ago established by the Living God, the Constitution of the United States, and a duly elected congressional body of lawmakers.

Examples abound of laws that are lawless, or redefined to rip apart the foundations of all that is right, moral and decent.  Want a new definition for marriage?  Watch out, people may think it’s time to marry themselves, their coffee cups or worse. Sound silly? Check out this headline story:

Yes, It’s Really Happening. This Woman Just Married A Dog

We can find many examples of people refusing to repent, but instead ‘affirming and celebrating’ immorality and lawlessness.  Here is one that typifies them all:

‘Gay’ weddings during Grammy Awards

Reprobate minds not only practice high level immorality, but the state of mind that exists without any reference to God also produces some high level stupidity. Here is a prime example:

WATCH Global Warming Proponents Sign Petition To Lower The Temp Of The Sun

Marcus Tullius Cicero (106-43 B.C.) Roman statesman, philosopher and orator, said something that many of us are fully aware of, but in this nation we have had no cause to take it too seriously until today.  Cicero said “A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But, it cannot survive treason from within.”  The product of lawless rulers is always the same – tyranny.

When rulers attack the laws and foundations of a nation they are enacting a subversion that never draws God’s approval. To wit:

“To subvert a man in his cause, the Lord approveth not.” (Lamentations 3:36)

Unfortunately, there is a well-defined principle set forth in the Bible that has gotten lost in this day of approaching darkness.

The Bible says that when a nation chooses to ignore its sinfulness, God will not only allow them to go reprobate, but will empower them with rulers who will enable them to succeed in their drive to destruction.

Many of today’s best theologians, preachers and ordinary citizens alike see leaders like Barack Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi as the fulfillment of this Biblical principle.

The first sign that reprobation is making its approach is that behaviors that once made us blush are now celebrated shamelessly. Then we see yet more headlines to confirm that we are well underway in our new, poorly chosen, direction.

In Western Journalism’s Floyd Reports is a story with the headline:  “Shocking New Poll Explains America’s Degenerate Culture.”  The subhead reads: “As much as the humanist crowd argues the contrary, America relies on its citizens’ faith in God to maintain our unparalleled level of freedom and opportunity.” It is a scathing and very sad report, but who among us can deny it?

Is there a way to turn around America’s plunge into reprobation?

To say otherwise would be to deny that God can and will bring a people back into favor if they will turn and serve him again. Since Obama took office we may have seen this verse quoted time and again as a call to a nation that is surely going reprobate. The key is obedience. For all that God says in His word, it’s time for the heeding, not just the reading.

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2 Ch 7:14)

Teacher Bullies Child for Mentioning Bible

This is from Godfather Politics.

We are allowing the muslims and atheist to win.

Our freedom of religion has been stripped away from public schools.

This is one of many reasons to homeschool.

You may recall the California teacher who confiscated a student’s candy canes meant as Christmas gifts for classmates because the attached tags mentioned Jesus, tore off the tags and told the boy, “Jesus is not allowed in school.”

Now comes a report of another out-of-control, atheistic autocrat disguised as a teacher.

On December 19 in Temecula, California, Helen Hunt-Jackson Elementary first-grader Brynn Williams was prevented by her teacher from sharing with her class an ornament of the Star of Bethlehem.

Brynn’s class was given “share bags” with an assignment to bring from home something that represented a family Christmas tradition.

Brynn brought a Star of Bethlehem ornament that tops her family’s Christmas tree. When it was her turn to give a 1-minute presentation, Brynn began by explaining the meaning of the star.

According to her family’s lawyers, Brynn said, “Our Christmas tradition is to put a star on top of our tree. The star is named the Star of Bethlehem. The three kings followed the star to find baby Jesus, the Savior of the world. John

At that point, the lawyers say, the teacher screamed, “Stop right there! Go take your seat!”

The teacher then reportedly told the rest of the class that Brynn was not allowed to share any verses or discuss the Bible in any way. Brynn was the only child prevented from finishing her presentation.

The principal met with Brynn and her mother and reportedly told them that the state’s education code supports the teacher.

According to Advocates for Faith and Freedom, which is legally representing Brynn, “The principal explained that the school district has strict rules about sharing beliefs publicly because there have been lawsuits. The principal had apparently spoken to the teacher and said that the teacher had to stop Brynn because ‘we don’t want to offend other students.'”

This isn’t the first such incident of religious discrimination by teachers in the Temecula Valley Unified School District, according to Advocates for Faith and Freedom.

General counsel Robert Tyler sent the district a letter in October requesting that teachers receive training in religious freedom and tolerance, following an incident at Marguerita Middle School in which students were assigned to select and read a piece of nonfiction literature. One student elected to read a selection from the Bible, but the teacher publicly ridiculed the Bible as fiction and disallowed the student’s choice.

Tyler said there was also a 2007 incident in the district where another teacher ridiculed Christian students.

In a letter to the superintendent, Tyler demanded that the district adopt a policy prohibiting teachers from mocking or publicly disapproving of a student’s faith. He also demanded that the district acknowledge students’ rights to express their religious views on campus without fear of teacher disapproval or reprisal

The teacher’s outburst hurt Brynn deeply, according to AFF: “In the eyes of a first-grader, the censorship resulted in a message of governmental disapproval and created a hostile environment, especially since it felt like she was being reprimanded in front of the entire class for sharing her family tradition and beliefs.”

This sort of thing in schools is a symptom of the long, slow push by some atheist activist groups and other liberals to remove Christianity from public view and establish atheism as the officially sanctioned religion of the United States.

Groups such as the Freedom From Religion Foundation have spent years suing over the most trivial public expressions of Christianity, and their long quest is bearing fruit in places like the education system, where knee-jerk fears about lawsuits have begun to replace common sense and create an intolerant, anti-Christian environment.

Under the rallying cry of “separation of church and state,” atheists are working to create a situation where hate against Christians is sanctioned and “tolerance” is only for those who go along with the agenda.

Robertson Family Releases Statement on A&E Decision to Suspend Phil Robertson

This is from myarklamiss.

This is going to bite A&E hard on their ass.

I hope A&E starts hemorrhaging cash real soon.

West Monroe — The Robertson family has released a statement in light on A&E decision to suspend patriarch Phil Robertson in light of the comments he made to GQ.

“We want to thank all of you for your prayers and support. The family has spent much time in prayer since learning of A&E’s decision. We want you to know that first and foremost we are a family rooted in our faith in God and our belief that the Bible is His word.

While some of Phil’s unfiltered comments to the reporter were coarse, his beliefs are grounded in the teachings of the Bible. Phil is a Godly man who follows what the Bible says are the greatest commandments: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart” and “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Phil would never incite or encourage hate.We are disappointed that Phil has been placed on hiatus for expressing his faith, which is his constitutionally protected right.

We have had a successful working relationship with A&E but, as a family, we cannot imagine the show going forward without our patriarch at the helm. We are in discussions with A&E to see what that means for the future of Duck Dynasty.

Again, thank you for your continued support of our family.

This was ironic because not too long ago I watched the sermon

by Pastor John Hagee on this subject.

I do not know about you as for myself this me want to be

certain of my standing with God..

lamented that Lindsey’s prophetic recklessness had a negative effect on many Christians:

“Needless to say, January 1, 1982, saw the defection of large numbers from the pretrib[lational rapture] position. . . . Many who were once excited about the prospects of being caught up to heaven at any moment have become confused and disillusioned by the apparent failure of a generally accepted biblical interpretation they once relied upon.”[2]

We are coming up on 66 years beyond 1948, 26 years past the 1988 predictive “rapture” date, and we’re still here.

What are blood moons and what do they have to do with Bible prophecy? The reddish color of the moon takes place during a lunar eclipse when the earth is between the sun and the moon at the proper angle and the earth’s shadow falls on the moon. Of course, the moon does not turn red. Most times the moon is bright white or yellow.

So what happens during a full lunar eclipse and the resultant blood moon?

“During a lunar eclipse, the Moon passes behind the Earth’s shadow, which darkens it. If you could take a look at the Earth from inside its shadow, you would see that the atmosphere around the edge of the entire planet glows red. Once again, this is because large amounts of atmosphere will scatter away the blue/green light and let the red light go straight through. During a lunar eclipse, the Moon passes fully into the shadow of the Earth and it’s no longer being illuminated by the Sun; however, this red light passing through the Earth’s atmosphere does reach the Moon, and shines on it.”

Those who point to “signs in the heavens” are often very selective. They only see significance when they can find events they claim are significant and ignore all others. For a sign to be a sign it must be unusual, and people have to have some idea why it’s a sign at the time it appears.

One of the first people to find prophetic significance with the blood moon tetrad is Mark Blitz:

“Mark [Biltz of El Shaddai Ministries in Puyallup, Washington] found that we have had blood-red moons on the first day of Passover and the first day of Sukkot on back-to-back years seven times since 1 A.D. Three of these occurrences were connected to 1492 (the final year of the Spanish Inquisition), 1948 (statehood for Israel and the War of Independence), and 1967 (the Six-Day War) — some of the most significant days in Jewish history.

“The others were in 162/163 A.D., 795/796 A.D., 842/843 A.D. and 860/861 A.D. We don’t have any historical connections for these years at this time, but we do know of significant Jewish persecution during the eighth and ninth centuries.”

The two full lunar eclipses occurred in 1493/1494 and 1949/1950. Why did the lunar eclipses appear after these events? In biblical terms, a sign takes place at the time of or before the prophetic event, not after.

My next article will deal with what the Bible says about blood moons since it’s the biblical that’s being appealed to by Blitz and John Hagee in his new book Four Blood Moons: Something is About to Change.

Humanists Sue Teacher Who Prayed for Injured Student

This is from Town Hall.

You can not make this stuff up.

Why do the clowns have so much power?

The latest allegations from theAmerican Humanist Association are shocking, titillating, and (cue the 1950s soap opera organist) downright scandalous.

In a complaint filed by the organization on November 20 a Missouri public school teacher has been accused of praying for an injured student, organizing a project to feed hungry children and (brace yourself) — cavorting with a Methodist.

“Teachers simply cannot participate in prayers with students at school, nor can they promote their religious beliefs in any other way to their students,” the AHA said in a statement.

The humanists filed a federal lawsuit on behalf of two students accusing Gwen Pope and the Fayette R-III School District of violating the Constitution by allowing a Christian club to meet before the start of the school day. The school’s former principal is also named in the lawsuit.

Mrs. Pope, who is no longer teaching at the school, was the sponsor of the Fellowship of Christian Students at Fayette High School. Since 2010, students have voluntarily gathered before the start of the school day to pray and read the Bible in her classroom.

The American Humanist Association said the two unnamed complainants had been subjected to “unwelcome encounters with the classroom prayer sessions.”

It seems her classroom is near the entrance door of the school and apparently non-believing students could see their classmates engaged in religious activities.

They alleged that Mrs. Pope and the students were seen reading Bible verses and (again, brace yourself) praying for the ill.

“When a student was sick or injured, Pope frequently asked the students in attendance to pray for the afflicted student and joined the attending students in prayer by bowing her head, closing her eyes and saying amen,” the lawsuit alleged.

The lawsuit specifically mentions an incident that occurred during the 2010-11 school year when a classmate had been hospitalized for knee surgery.

Mrs. Pope allegedly encouraged the students to pray for the young man. The lawsuit describes in great detail the aftermath of that request.

“She then bowed her head and closed her eyes,” the lawsuit states. “At the end of the prayer, Pope joined the students in saying aloud, ‘Amen.’”

Can you believe a public school would tolerate such diabolical behavior?

The AHA also took issue with a flier that promoted the club’s participation in the “Buddy Pack” program at a local food pantry. The packs are filled with food and given to elementary school students to take home over the weekend.

As egregious as feeding the poor might have been, the humanists were especially troubled by Mrs. Pope’s reading material. She was accused of owning a Bible. Yes, a Bible.

“This display violates the Establishment Clause as a student would reasonably perceive it as her promoting her religious views to her students,” the AHA said in a statement.

So what’s the school supposed to do – round up all the Bibles and host an old-fashioned book burning?

As for the cavorting with the Methodist charge – it turns out Mrs. Pope’s husband is a former youth minister for the local Methodist church – and he was invited to attend the club prayer sessions.

I spoke to the school superintendent on Monday and she sent me a statement noting they had not yet received a copy of the lawsuit.

“The district strives to respect and abide by the constitutional rights of its students and staff members,” the statement read. “It will vigorously defend against any claim that the district has taken actions which violate any persons’ First Amendment rights.

The American Humanist Association wants the judge to end all religious activity at the school as well as award monetary damages to the “offended” students, according to the lawsuit.

This over-the-top attack on Christianity is just unbelievable. Then again, what do you expect from a bunch of humanists who don’t believe in anything that really matters?

Obama Hates Christianity

This is from Victoria

Every Patriot knew what Obama was and is.

Obama is a bigoted,Anti American, Socialist  S.O.B.

hate chrhate chr

Before you read this List of Facts proving that Obama wants to rid the United States/world of Christianity, let’s remember this quote at the United Nations General Assembly in September 2012 when Obama said, “The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.”

Wallbuilders proves Obama is anti-Catholic, anti-Protestant, and anti-religious Jews, so, in summary – anti-Biblical. “And then when his hostility toward Biblical people of faith is contrasted with his preferential treatment of Muslims and Muslim nations, it further strengthens the accuracy of the anti-Biblical descriptor. In fact, there have been numerous clearly documented times when his pro-Islam positions have been the cause of his anti-Biblical actions.”

Here are a few facts taken from a very long list at Wallbuilders of Obama’s anti-Biblical words and actions:

1) Acts of hostility toward people of Biblical faith:

April 2008 – Obama speaks disrespectfully of Christians, saying they “cling to guns or religion” and have an “antipathy to people who aren’t like them.”

November 2010 – Obama misquotes the National Motto, saying it is “E pluribus unum” rather than “In God We Trust” as established by federal law.

October 19, 2010 – Obama begins deliberately omitting the phrase about “the Creator” when quoting the Declaration of Independence – an omission he has made on no less than seven occasions.

May 2009 – Obama declines to host services for the National Prayer Day (a day established by federal law) at the White House.

April 2009 – When speaking at Georgetown University, Obama orders that a monogram symbolizing Jesus’ name be covered when he is making his speech.

14 more facts in this category are listed here.

2) Acts of hostility from the Obama-led military toward people of Biblical faith:

May 2013 – An Air Force officer was actually made to remove a personal Bible from his own desk because it “might” appear that he was condoning the particular religion to which he belonged.

April 2013 – Officials briefing U.S. Army soldiers placed “Evangelical Christianity” and “Catholicism” in a list that also included Al-Qaeda, Muslim Brotherhood, and Hamas as examples of “religious extremism.”

November 2011 – Even while restricting and disapprobating Christian religious expressions, the Air Force Academy pays $80,000 to add a Stonehenge-like worship center for pagans, druids, witches and Wiccans at the Air Force Academy.

June 2011 – The Department of Veterans Affairs forbids references to God and Jesus during burial ceremonies at Houston National Cemetery.

January 2010 – Because of “concerns” raised by the Department of Defense, tiny Bible verse references that had appeared for decades on scopes and gunsights were removed.

June 2013 – The U. S. Air Force, in consultation with the Pentagon, removed an inspirational painting that for years has been hanging at Mountain Home Air Force Base because its title was “Blessed Are The Peacemakers” — a phrase from Matthew 5:9 in the Bible.

There are 26 more facts at Wallbuilders here.

3) Acts of hostility toward Biblical values:

December 2012 – Despite having campaigned to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, President Obama once again suspends the provisions of the Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995 which requires the United States to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and to move the American Embassy there.

July 2012 – The Pentagon, for the first time, allows service members to wear their uniforms while marching in a parade – specifically, a gay pride parade in San Diego.

October 2011 – The Obama administration eliminates federal grants to the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops for their extensive programs that aid victims of human trafficking because the Catholic Church is anti-abortion.

September 2011 – The Pentagon directs that military chaplains may perform same-sex marriages at military facilities in violation of the federal Defense of Marriage Act.

July 2011 – Obama allows homosexuals to serve openly in the military, reversing a policy originally instituted by George Washington in March 1778.

(There are 19 more facts in this category at Wallbuilders.)

4) Acts of preferentialism for Islam:

February 2012 – The Obama administration makes effulgent apologies for Korans being burned by the U. S. military, but when Bibles were burned by the military, numerous reasons were offered why it was the right thing to do.

October 2011 – Obama’s Muslim advisers block Middle Eastern Christians’ access to the White House.

August 2010 – Obama speaks with great praise of Islam and condescendingly of Christianity.

August 2010 – Obama went to great lengths to speak out on multiple occasions on behalf of building an Islamic mosque at Ground Zero, while at the same time he was silent about a Christian church being denied permission to rebuild at that location.

April 2010 – Christian leader Franklin Graham is disinvited from the Pentagon’s National Day of Prayer Event because of complaints from the Muslim community.

April 2010 – The Obama administration requires rewriting of government documents and a change in administration vocabulary to remove terms that are deemed offensive to Muslims, including jihad, jihadists, terrorists, radical Islamic, etc.

May 2009 – While Obama does not host any National Day of Prayer event at the White House, he does host White House Iftar dinners in honor of Ramadan.

2010 – While every White House traditionally issues hundreds of official proclamations and statements on numerous occasions, this White House avoids traditional Biblical holidays and events but regularly recognizes major Muslim holidays, as evidenced by its 2010 statements on Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr, Hajj, and Eid-ul-Adha.

(The rest is here.)

Here’s a partial list from Frontpage Magazine:

1) The O administration “scrubbed all federal law enforcement training materials of such words or phrases as ‘jihadists’ or ‘Islamic terrorists,’ since the use of such terms could be viewed by Muslims as evidence of Islamophobia.”

2) The O administration is targeting Christians in the military; Fox News report Oct. 23, 2013: “Soldiers attending a pre-deployment briefing at Fort Hood say they were told that evangelical Christians and members of the Tea Party were a threat to the nation and that any soldier donating to those groups would be subjected to punishment under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.”

Remember, Fort Hood is where the Muslim soldier Nidal Hasan, shouted “Allahu Akhbar” as he murdered his unarmed fellow soldiers.

Yet, during the pre-deployment briefing at Fort Hood, barely a word was said about Islamic extremism. As one soldier put it, “Our community is still healing from the act of terrorism brought on by Nidal Hasan – who really is a terrorist. This is a slap in the face. The military is supposed to defend freedom and to classify the vast majority of the military that claim to be Christian as terrorists is sick.”

3) An Army Reserve instructor in PA was reported as saying Evangelical Christianity and Catholicism were examples of religious extremism, equating followers with the KKK, al Qaeda and Hamas. His training materials also listed “Islamophobia” as a form of religious extremism.

4) The U.S. military ordered soldiers to remove a cross and a steeple from atop a chapel and to board up cross-shaped windows at a remote American forward operating base in Afghanistan.” They were told the Christian symbols “might offend the Afghan Muslims” whom our soldiers are risking their lives to defend.

5) A Defense Department training document entitled “Extremism” is tied to the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) which has an anti-Christian, anti-Tea Party bias. It has labeled the American Family Association and the Traditional Values Coalition as “domestic hate groups”.

6) Atheist activist Mikey Weinstein just got the Air Force Academy to relent and make “So help me God” to be optional in the reciting of their honor code. However, Weinstein responded, “What does it mean, ‘optional’? The best thing is to eliminate it.”

7) “The Obama administration bends over backwards to avoid hurting the sensibilities of Muslims, even referring to Hasan’s jihadist attack at Fort Hood as merely “workplace violence.” But traditional Christians are a subject of mockery and disrespect by this administration.”

You see where this is leading. Our military is being trained to attack U.S. citizens, Christians and conservatives. Dissidents. To seize guns. To seize land. This is communism all over again, but under a new label – “Progressive.”
