EXCLUSIVE: 15-Year-Old Girl Attacked By Group of Teens In Delaware County

This is from CBS 3 Philadelphia.

Nine sons of Obama beat down a 15-year-old white girl.

These animals kicked, punched and spit on the victim.

Then these animals tried to throw this girl under a car.

She suffered a partially collapsed lung.

I doubt these animals will be caught if they are they will

just get a smack on the hand.

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Speaking exclusively to CBS 3, a 15-year-old high school student, whose identity we are concealing, described a terrifying attack by a gang of at least nine teenage boys as she was leaving an Interboro High School football game Monday night.

The teenage victim described first being taunted by the attackers, who followed her down a neighborhood street, cursing and spitting at her, before she was repeatedly kicked and punched, at least one of the blows to her head.

“It was scary, just horrible, just the worst feeling in the world,” she said. “He punched me in my back and then kicked me in the back, and then punched me in the back of my head. I couldn’t breathe, I couldn’t move, I couldn’t talk. I was just straight crying.”

The victim says as at least two of the teenagers pummeled her, the others cheered them on shouting, “come on, let’s get her.” At one point, the victim says, the gang tried to throw her under the wheels of a passing car, which swerved, narrowly missing her.

“They took me by my arm and just threw me out like I was a fishing rod. I was doubled over in pain,” she said. “Everything was just a big, giant blur.”

Finally, left injured in the roadway, she told CBS 3′s Walt Hunter, she staggered more than a mile to her home, worried she might not make it, collapsing in the driveway.

Rushed by her parents to Taylor Hospital, she was medevaced to Children’s Hospital where, her parents say, she was treated for a partially collapsed lung and other injuries. Released 48 hours after the attack, she is now recovering at home as police move forward with their investigation.

“What happened that night is beyond belief to me,” said Joe Parris, the victim’s father.

The victim and her family want to see the attackers brought to justice as, they say, they try to comprehend what could possibly prompt a pack of strangers to viciously attack a young woman walking home from a football game?

If you have information, please call Glenolden Police at 610-583-1312.

“They terrorized and beat up a 15-year-old girl. Now I think they should pay for it,” said her father.

‘Duck Dynasty’ Star: Show Adding ‘Fake Bleeps’ Despite No Cursing

This is from CBS Houston,Tx.

Why add bleeps to fool people into believing someone swore?

Who are the producers trying not to offend the Muslims or Atheist by

bleeping out the name of Jesus?

I say piss on both groups.

MONROE, La. (CBS Houston) — Popular A&E reality show “Duck Dynasty” continues to smash competition in the ratings on Wednesday nights, but one star has spoken out about how the show is portrayed.

In an interview with Sports Spectrum TV earlier this year that’s only recently gone viral, Phil Robertson admitted that fake bleeps were inserted into the show even though there was no cursing happening.

“The inserted fake bleeps … like somebody had used profanity, but no one had used profanity,” Robertson said. “I ask those guys that produce the show … ‘What’s the point of the fake bleeps?’”

Robertson admitted that there are up to 20 editors who are “arranging the scenes” on the show so they might think that’s where cursing likely happened.

“Of course these people probably thought that there was some profanity going on which there was zero,” Robertson stated. “If we’re not using profanity, why make it look like we’re using profanity? What is the point? Why don’t you just run it and say what we say?”

Robertson also said that the name Jesus has been cut out during the family’s prayer scene at the end of the show.

“So they would just have me saying, ‘Thank you Lord for the food, thank you for loving us. Amen.’ So I said, ‘Why would you cut out ‘In Jesus’ name?’ They said, ‘Well those editors are probably doing that. They just think that they don’t want to offend some of the Muslims or something.’”

Robertson said that since that conversation the show has been leaving “Jesus” in the show.

“So I notice now they are … leaving it in there, but you got to remember, spiritual warfare,” Robertson said. “I mean you have people with no moral compass, it ain’t there.”

“Duck Dynasty” has been a smash hit for A&E, garnering 11.8 million viewers for the Season Four premiere.

The Robertsons’ Duck Commander business is located in West Monroe, La.

PETA: Eating Chicken Wings During Pregnancy Could Affect Baby’s Penis Size

This is from CBS 3 in Philly.

You can not make this stuff up.

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Eating chicken parts – or, more specifically, chicken wings – could shrink your baby’s man parts.

At least, that’s what PETA is alleging in advance of the National Buffalo Wing Festival.

According to a letter from PETA to Drew Cerza, the founder of the festival, “The latest scientific evidence shows that the sons of pregnant women who consume chicken are more likely to have smaller penises because of a chemical found in the birds’ flesh.”

“Findings published by the Study for Future Families showed that eating poultry during pregnancy may lead to smaller penis size in male infants,” the letter, from PETA’s Lindsay Rajt, alleges.

So, in a city where buffalo wings are a game day must and a wing-eating competition draws in thousands every year, we wanted to know: Just how true is PETA’s latest claim?

According to Women’s Health Magazine, the answer is not very. The magazine says that the chemical PETA is referring to is phthalate, and while research does show it causes shorter penises in boys born to moms with the highest level of phthalate exposure, poultry isn’t even a top ranking offender on the list of foods containing the chemical.

Furthermore, Women’s Health reports that phthalates are in a lot of things we use every day, from plastic containers and personal care products to spices and many foods. Your best bet for limiting your exposure to them during pregnancy is to avoid using plastic containers or consuming very processed foods.

In conclusion, you can probably relax. Your little buffalo wing habit won’t make anything else… well, little.

No Free Parking A Major Change For Drivers With Disabilities

This is from CBS 2 Chicago.

I understand that people abuse the handicap parking placards.

How ever punishing  everyone for the abusers is not right.

Then again the state of Illinois is in major debt and need money

any way they can get it.

CHICAGO (CBS) — The Illinois Secretary of State’s office is getting out the word: big changes are coming soon for drivers with disabilities.

WBBM’s Regine Schlesinger reports, starting Jan. 1, drivers with a disability placard or license plate, will not be entitled to park for free at metered spaces.

Bill Bogdan, with the Secretary of State’s office, says only those who can’t physically reach or feed the pay box will be exempt from paying.

Drivers will have to get a doctor to certify that they are physically unable to pay. Once approved, they will be issued a new placard, exempting them from paying.

Bogdan, who’s in a wheelchair himself, hopes the end of free parking for most will take away the incentive to abuse the placards.

“I’m a father of three, I’ve got three young kids and when I’m out by myself with them and I need to take them places and those spots are taken up, I never feel more handicapped in my life,” he said

Starting Tuesday, workers will begin placing notices on the windshields of cars that display handicapped placards or plates, warning that they’ll have to pay for parking unless they get the special exemption.

East Bay Woman Accused Of Credit Card Fraud After Restaurant Mix Up

This is from CBS 5 KPIX San Francisco.

If the woman perpetrating this fraud was white her picture

would be on the page.

The odds are she is a Hopey Changer so no picture.

People of all races commit fraud but their pictures make the news.

NEWARK (CBS SF) — A woman who dined at a Newark seafood restaurant on her birthday and was handed the wrong credit card by the waitress at the end of her meal was arrested after she took the card and headed to a nearby mall on Sunday evening, police said.

Jheline Demesa, 22, of San Leandro, ate dinner at Ray’s Crab Shack at 5989 Mowry Ave., where the waitress mistakenly gave her a credit card from an adjacent table, police said.

Instead of returning the card, Demesa allegedly left the restaurant with it, police said.

The real cardholder tried to cancel the credit card a short time later but learned that transactions had been made on it at the NewPark Mall across the street, Newark police Cmdr. Mike Carroll said.

The victim notified police about the incident at 6:20 p.m., Carroll said.

The restaurant owner managed to find an image of Demesa captured by a surveillance camera inside the eatery and gave it to the victim, who went to the mall to look for her, Carroll said.

The victim and mall security located Demesa then notified police, Carroll said.

Officers arrested Demesa shortly after 8 p.m. on suspicion of commercial burglary and credit card fraud, Carroll said.

Demesa was booked into the Santa Rita Jail, police said.

Congressman: ‘Can You Trust This Administration with Your Phone Records?’

This is from National Review On Line.

My answer to Rep.Micheal McCaul(R.Tx.)  is “OH Hell No!

I would not trust this administration for the correct time.

Representative Michael McCaul (R.,Texas), chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, told CBS’s Face the Nation this morning that he wonders whether Americans can trust their government.

“The optics are terrible in this case when you consider the recent scandals,” McCaul said. “You have to ask yourself this question: Can you trust this administration with your phone records?”

McCaul, however, defended the recently revealed surveillance programs as “lawful” and helpful in counterterrorism efforts. His concern, he said, was more about the Obama White House having access to these records.

MCCAIN: ‘I DON’T UNDERSTAND’ FILIBUSTERING GUN CONTROL

This is from Breitbart’s Big Government.

Senator McCain is a war hero.

But the time has come for him to retire.

Senator McCain has become an embarrassment to the

people and state of Arizona.

Sen. John McCain (R-Sunday Shows) expressed bewilderment on CBS’Face the Nation” that GOP Sens. Cruz, Lee and Paul would filibuster gun control legislation. “I don’t understand it,” McCain said. “The purpose of the United States Senate is to debate and to vote and to let the people know where we stand.” With all due respect to Sen. McCain, that is almost completely backward.

The purpose of the US Senate is not to be some federal debating society. It is not tasked with taking the great issues of the day and giving its “august” members a platform for their musings on policy. The public does not look to the Senate for guidance in its deliberations on the issues.

The Senate’s first, and only, task is to uphold the Constitution. Originally, the Senate was designed to act as the states’ check on an encroaching federal government. Senators were appointed by state legislatures to be their voice in Washington. The House was designed to be the voice of the people. Sadly, those days are long gone.

Today, Senators are just House members juiced-up on steroids. Worse, they have a habit of putting decorum and the traditions and processes of the institution above foundational principles.

“I don’t understand why United States senators want to block debate when the leaders said we could have amendments,” McCain noted.

If one believes a legislative proposal is, on its face, unconstitutional, the ability to offer amendments is of little solace. Sens. Cruz, Lee and Paul, among other Senators, believe legislation to limit gun rights is, by its nature, unconstitutional. Amending the legislation to make it slightly less unconstitutional is a fool’s game, and a large reason our federal government has grown so large.

A filibuster against gun control legislation is upholding the greatest tradition of the Senate, i.e. acting as a bulwark against the federal government’s natural inclination to expand its power. Knowing how specific Senators voted on shredding the Constitution won’t put it back together again. Any proposal that tramples on constitutional rights should never grace the floor of the Senate.

Sen. McCain, once the GOP candidate for President, is becoming marginalized within the GOP Senate caucus. New, more conservative, Senators are stepping up to defend Constitutional principles and becoming a vocal, loyal opposition to the Administration and its curtailing of our liberties. They should be applauded.

Newtown parents and family vow lifelong mission

This is from 60 Minutes.

CBS is using this as a propaganda piece to advance an agenda.

That agenda is destroying The Second Amendment.

I can not imagine their pain but they are wrong on gun control.

The very atmosphere of firearms anywhere and everywhere restrains evil interference – they deserve a place of honor with all that’s good.

George Washington

ome of the parents and family of the 26 children and adults killed in the mass shooting in Newtown, Conn., tell Scott Pelley their mission for gun control will last throughout their lifetimes. Several parents and a husband of one of the victims of Adam Lanza’s murder-suicide rampage last December spoke to Pelley in Newtown for a 60 Minutes report to be broadcast Sunday, April 7 at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT.

A portion of the report was broadcast on the CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley. The following is the transcript:

Among the families, we spoke with Nicole Hockley who lost 6-year-old Dylan and Bill Sherlach whose wife Mary was the school psychologist.

Scott Pelley: In terms of the things that are being considered in Washington, are any of them at the top of your priority list? If you could have one thing or you could have two, what would you choose?

Bill Sherlach: Personally, I would– I would think the ma– limiting magazine size and universal background check. If I had to pick two-

Nicole Hockley: And anything that helps reduce– gun trafficking as well, in the straw purchases, to know that you can’t buy a gun for someone else.

Scott Pelley: Straw purchases are those when a person who has a clean record buys a gun for a person who would not have been able to pass a background check?

Nicole Hockley: Correct. And that–

Scott Pelley: It happens all the time.

Nicole Hockley: That’s common sense, isn’t it?

Scott Pelley: Do any of you fear that after only four months the impact of this on the Congress is beginning to fade, and the memory of how we felt on that day is beginning to fade?

Bill Sherlach: This is– this is a marathon. And you have to be prepared to run all 26 miles. This is not a sprint. That’s been the typical reaction. Get the legislation. Get it now. And then it– it fades. Time goes by. News cycles happen. Other headlines come up. Now when you take a multifaceted approach, and you can build a wagon big enough for a grassroots movement to get involved, it has the legs to go the 26 miles.

Scott Pelley: This is a lifelong pursuit for all of you?

Voices: Yes. Yeah.

Bill Sherlach: Shame on me if it’s not.

Scott Pelley: How do you stay in touch with the child that you lost?

Nicole Hockley: We had Dylan– cremated. So– I have his urn– next to his picture– in a cupboard in our bedroom-on our dresser. Every morning, I kiss him good morning and say, “Hi.” And he’s– the last thing I kiss before I go to bed at night. Every night I beg for him to come to me in my dreams so that I can see him again. And– during the day, I just focus on what I need to do to honor him and make change.

Red Sox gun accident: 24-year-old outfielder harmed cleaning weapon

You always check and double-check to make sure your weapon is empty.

A Red Sox gun accident happened when a 24-year-old prospect shot himself in the leg while cleaning his gun, CBS Local reports Feb. 9. The baseball team’s general manager, Ben Cherington, informed the media Saturday that the incident happened a few weeks ago to Bryce Brentz.

“He was at home cleaning a gun, and it accidentally went off,” Cherington said. “He was injured in the process. Fortunately for him, it’s something he’s going to recover from and be fine.”

Brentz was expected at Major League camp with the Red Sox, but due to the gun accident, he hasn’t completely healed. The general manager added that the prospect knows how lucky he was the gunshot wasn’t worse.

“I guess you could say he got lucky, relative to what happened,” Cherington added. “I think he understands he got lucky, and it’s a serious thing and he has to be careful. He’s here in Fort Myers and he’s recovering and it’s not going to get in the way of his future.”

It’s possible Brentz will be in the games by the end of camp. The general manager also said that the Red Sox don’t have a gun policy.

CBS RUNS SEGMENT CALLED ‘LET’S GIVE UP ON THE CONSTITUTION’

This is from Breitbart TV.

This is the media that will not speak out against Obama.

It is not a surprise that CBS wants to give up on the Constitution.

We The People will not give up on the Constitution.

From Georgetown law professor Louis Michael Seidman:

I’ve got a simple idea: Let’s give up on the Constitution. I know, it sounds radical, but it’s really not. Constitutional disobedience is as American as apple pie. For example, most of our greatest Presidents — Jefferson, Lincoln, Wilson, and both Roosevelts — had doubts about the Constitution, and many of them disobeyed it when it got in their way.

To be clear, I don’t think we should give up on everything in the Constitution. The Constitution has many important and inspiring provisions, but we should obey these because they are important and inspiring, not because a bunch of people who are now long-dead favored them two centuries ago. Unfortunately, the Constitution also contains some provisions that are not so inspiring. For example, one allows a presidential candidate who is rejected by a majority of the American people to assume office. Suppose that Barack Obama really wasn’t a natural-born citizen. So what? Constitutional obedience has a pernicious impact on our political culture. Take the recent debate about gun control. None of my friends can believe it, but I happen to be skeptical of most forms of gun control. I understand, though, that’s not everyone’s view, and I’m eager to talk with people who disagree.

But what happens when the issue gets Constitutional-ized? Then we turn the question over to lawyers, and lawyers do with it what lawyers do. So instead of talking about whether gun control makes sense in our country, we talk about what people thought of it two centuries ago. Worse yet, talking about gun control in terms of constitutional obligation needlessly raises the temperature of political discussion. Instead of a question on policy, about which reasonable people can disagree, it becomes a test of one’s commitment to our foundational document and, so, to America itself.

This is our country. We live in it, and we have a right to the kind of country we want. We would not allow the French or the United Nations to rule us, and neither should we allow people who died over two centuries ago and knew nothing of our country as it exists today. If we are to take back our own country, we have to start making decisions for ourselves, and stop deferring to an ancient and outdated document.
