State Dept’s Marie Harf Comes Up With a Mind-Numbing Excuse for Why We ‘Can’t Kill’ ISIS

This is from Independent Journal Review.

I guess we will let them apply for welfare and food stamps then we can set around a campfire hold hands and sing  kumbaya.

State Department spokesperson Marie Harf told MSNBC’s Chris Matthews that killing ISIS militants is not a strategy for defeating the radical Islamist terror group.

Matthews asked Harf if America was “killing enough of them,” referring to members of ISIS. Harf responded:

“We’re killing a lot of them and we’re going to keep killing more of them. So are the Egyptians, so are the Jordanians. They’re in this fight with us. But we cannot win this war by killing them. We cannot kill our way out of this war. We need in the medium to longer term to go after the root causes that leads people to join these groups, whether it’s lack of opportunity for jobs…”

Matthews responded by challenging the notion that the root cause of radical Islamic terrorism can be solved through socio-economic solutions:

“We’re not going to be able to stop that in our lifetime or fifty lifetimes. There’s always going to be poor people. There’s always going to be poor Muslims, and as long as there are poor Muslims, the trumpet’s blowing and they’ll join. We can’t stop that, can we?”

Harf continued to trumpet the Obama administration’s position that ISIS terrorists are really just misguided, poor kids who don’t have an opportunity to make money.

“What makes these seventeen-year-old kids pick up an AK-47 instead of starting a business? Maybe we can try to chip away at this problem,” she concluded.

Despite Harf’s position, President Obama has requested Congress expand his Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF).

21) I do believe that it’s the first time in history that fire has ever melted steel. I do believe that it defies physics that World Trade Center tower 7 — building 7, which collapsed in on itself — it is impossible for a building to fall the way it fell without explosives being involved. 20) Isn’t it a little racist to call it Black Friday? — Joy Behar

19) A good place to start a more civil dialog would be for my Republican colleagues in the House to change the name of the bill they have introduced to repeal health care reform. The bill, titled the “Repeal the Job Killing Health Care Law Act,” was set to come up for a vote this week, but in the wake of Gabby’s shooting, it has been postponed at least until next week. Don’t get me wrong — I’m not suggesting that the name of that one piece of legislation somehow led to the horror of this weekend — but is it really necessary to put the word “killing” in the title of a major piece of legislation? — Chellie Pingree, Congresswoman (D-ME)

18) The Republican Party is saying that the President of the United States has bosses, that the union bosses this President around, the unions boss him around. Does that sound to you like they are trying to consciously or subconsciously deliver the racist message that, of course, of course a black man can’t be the real boss? — Lawrence O’Donnell

17) Herman Cain is probably well-liked by some of the Republicans because it hides the racist elements of the Republican Party, conservative movement and tea party movement. People like Karl Rove like to keep the racism very covert and so Herman Cain provides this great opportunity so he can say, ‘Look: This is not a racist anti-immigrant, anti-female, anti-gay movement. Look: We have a black man.’ And look he’s polling well and he won a straw poll. — Janeane Garofalo

16) If we want to keep our reproductive rights, we must be willing to tell our stories, to be willing and able to say, “I love my life, but I wish my mother had aborted me.” — Lynn Beisner, the Guardian

11) During my service in the United States Congress, I took the initiative in creating the Internet. — Al Gore

10) Every month that we do not have an economic recovery package 500 million Americans lose their jobs. — Nancy Pelosi

9) Watching both the health care and climate/energy debates in Congress, it is hard not to draw the following conclusion: There is only one thing worse than one-party autocracy, and that is one-party democracy, which is what we have in America today. One-party autocracy certainly has its drawbacks. But when it is led by a reasonably enlightened group of people, as China is today, it can also have great advantages. — Thomas Friedman

8) I root for hurricanes. When, courtesy of the Weather Channel, I see one forming in the ocean off the coast of Africa, I find myself longing for it to become big and strong–Mother Nature’s fist of fury, Gaia’s stern rebuke. Considering the havoc mankind has wreaked upon nature with deforesting, stripmining, and the destruction of animal habitat, it only seems fair that nature get some of its own back and teach us that there are forces greater than our own. — James Wolcott, Vanity Fair

7) Over the last 15 months, we’ve traveled to every corner of the United States. I’ve now been in 57 states? I think one left to go. — Barack Obama

6) The government lied about inventing the HIV virus as a means of genocide against people of color. The government lied. — Jeremiah Wright

5) How do we know when someone like Hasan is going to make his move and do we know he’s an Islamist until he’s made his move? He makes a phone call or whatever, according to Reuters right now. Apparently he tried to contact al-Qaida. Is that the point at which you say, “This guy is dangerous?” That’s not a crime to call up al-Qaida, is it? Is it? I mean, where do you stop the guy? — Chris Matthews

4) The medical term for Down Syndrome is Trisomy-21 or Trisomy-g. It is often shortened in medical slang to Tri-g. Is it not perfectly possible that the very name given to this poor child, being reared by Bristol, is another form of mockery of his condition, along with the “retarded baby” tag? And does the way in which this poor child was hauled around the country on a book tour, being dragged out in front of flash photographs in the middle of the night, barely clothed, suggest someone who actually cares for children with special needs, or rather sees them as a way to keep the spotlight on her? — Andrew Sullivan

3) I propose a limitation be put on how many sqares [sic] of toilet paper can be used in any one sitting. The 20 Most Annoying Liberals of 2013

This is from Town Hall.

I agree with this list.

Honorable Mentions: Bob Beckel, Joe Biden, Bill de Blasio, Michael Bloomberg, Barbara Boxer, Cher, Bob Costas, Al Gore, Alan Grayson, Chris Hayes, John Kerry, Paul Krugman, Ezra Klein, Sheila Jackson Lee, Bill Maher, Mike Malloy, Meghan McCain, Michael Moore, Michelle Obama, Dan Savage, Ed Schultz, Chuck Schumer, Andrew Sullivan, Joan Walsh, Elizabeth Warren, Anthony Weiner

20) Nancy Pelosi: After being displaced as Speaker of the House, Pelosi returned to Mordor, reformed herself as a giant eye and the legends say her minions prepare for war and eternally search for a magic ring that will allow her to return to power.

Defining quote: “Our view of the law is that it — if somebody is here without sufficient documentation, that is not reason for deportation.” —Nancy Pelosi

19) The Southern Poverty Law Center: Ironically, the Southern Poverty Law Center used to do good work cataloguing hate groups around the country, but it’s since become little more than a hate group itself. Floyd Lee Corkins tried to murder people at the Family Research Council because the Southern Poverty Law Center falsely labeled them a hate group. You might think almost getting people killed might make the SPLW reconsider labeling people as hate groups for the sake of politics, but it continued the practice in 2013, even as Corkins faced 25 years in prison for the attempted mass murder that it inspired. That’s why the Southern Poverty Law Center is just as much of a hate group as the American Nazi Party, the KKK or the New Black Panthers.

Defining quote: “While interviewed by the FBI, Corkins admitted that he wanted to ‘kill as many as possible and smear the Chick-Fil-A sandwiches in victims’ faces, and kill the guard.’I was one of those people who could have been his victim. I was on the 6th floor of the FRC building working on my pro-life internship assignments. I could have lost my life. My dear friend Rosa and everyone else in the building, including my boss Jeanne Monahan, now president of March for Life, could have lost their lives.

It saddens me and brings tears to my eyes that a person like Corkins would resort to violence out of political disagreement, especially on the topic of gay marriage. It breaks my heart that Southern Poverty Law Center facilitated his intent to commit such a horrific act of violence by labeling FRC as a ‘hate group.'” — Anna Maria Hoffman

18) Piers Morgan: The last time there were Brits in America who were this annoying, Andrew Jackson drove them out of New Orleans during the War of 1812. Morgan’s pretentious caterwauling about guns would be irritating under any circumstances, but if we wanted to be told what to do by Brits, we wouldn’t have poured their tea in Boston Harbor to begin with.

Hey, @piersmorgan, can you please explain these signs on your Beverly Hills property? http://www.twitpic.com/cghoe4

17) Jay Carney: It’s a little bit of a cheap shot to pick on a White House Press Secretary since by definition, they’re always playing Waylon Smithers to the Mr. Burns in the White House. Yet and still,Carney is such a petulant lick-spittle that it’s hard not to hold him in contempt as you look into his dead little eyes while he spouts lies at each and every press conference.

Defining Tweet:

Carney blows more smoke than a Rastafarian death rattle.

— Dennis Miller Show (@DennisDMZ) May 14, 2013

16) Wendy Davis: Nobody fought harder to kill babies in 2013 than Abortion Barbie. Now she’s trying to turn her lust for dead children into a springboard to make her the next governor of Texas. Good luck with that, Killer!

Defining quote: “The left is in a tizzy on twitter for my referring to pink shoes wearing Texas State Senator Wendy Davis as “Abortion Barbie.” It sums her up perfectly. All the nation knows about Wendy Davis is that she is ignorant of the horrors of Kermit Gosnell, wears pink shoes, and filibustered legislation to save the innocent in Texas. She joined the long line of Democrats before her to oppose legislation to protect other people while using property rights arguments to do so.” —Erick Erickson

15) Kathleen Sebelius: She would be the hapless “Brownie, you’re doing a heck of a job” mope of the Obama administration if there was anybody competent on staff to use in comparison. However, she stands out, even in a Three Stoogesadministration because she’s so far over her head trying to implement Obamacare that it would almost be tempting to feel sorry for her if she weren’t wrecking the lives of tens of millions of Americans in the process.

Defining Tweet:

14) Alec Baldwin: Baldwin was already known as such a pretentious, homophobic creep that conservatives were calling on Capital One to fire him for his gay slurs BEFORE MSNBC ever hired him. Then, MSNBC brought him on board, he allegedly exploded with more gay slurs, and MSNBC execs sent him packing. Why were they shocked? It wasn’t like they didn’t know he was prone to doing that already.

Defining quote: “C**ksucking f*g.” — Alec Baldwin allegedly to a member of the paparazzi in an outburst that cost him his job at MSNBC.

13) Debbie Wasserman Schultz: She’s a bit of a puzzler in that she’s habitually dishonest, nasty, annoying, and generally unlikable; yet she’s risen to become the Chair of the Democratic National Committee. Also, did I mention she’s delusional as well?

Defining quote: Democratic candidates will be able to run on ObamaCare as an advantage leading into the 2014 election!” — Debbie Wasserman Schultz

12) GLAAD: These hypocrites stood strongly behind Alec Baldwin when he shouted homophobic slurs in public, but regularly try to destroy Christians for refusing to toe the liberal line on gay marriage. GLAAD is every bit as much of a rabidly anti-Christian group as it is a pro-gay rights organization. Even people who agree with GLAAD on gay rights shouldn’t be supporting such a hateful, hypocritical group of bullies.

Defining quote: “Is GLAAD’s position so weak, so intellectually indefensible, that it cannot prevail in reasoned debate, and therefore all opposition must be bullied into silence? This is how America becomes divided and balkanized; because groups like GLAAD make civil disagreement impossible.” — V the K at GayPatriot

11) Oprah Winfrey: Oprah Winfrey built a net worth of more than 2 billion dollars on the backs of her white female fans, but suddenly America became an awful, racist country because she had a movie to promote. If this is such a horrible, bigoted country, how is it that Oprah was able to become the most successful black woman on planet earth while living here? Is she just that much more wonderful than everyone else?

Defining quote #1: “There’s a level of disrespect for the office that occurs. And that occurs in some cases and maybe even many cases because he’s African American. There’s no question about that and it’s the kind of thing nobody ever says but everybody’s thinking it.” —Oprah Winfrey

Definining quote #2: “You know, as long as people can be judged by the color of their skin, problem’s not solved. As long as there are people who still, there’s a whole generation – I say this, you know, I said this, you know, for apartheid South Africa, I said this for my own, you know, community in the south – there are still generations of people, older people, who were born and bred and marinated in it, in that prejudice and racism, and they just have to die.” — Oprah Winfrey

10) Chris Matthews: Aside from constantly claiming to hear the same racist dog whistles that everyone else on MSNBC does (Maybe everyone at that network should get his ears checked), Matthews may be the biggest Obama fanboy on the planet. I’m not entirely sure if Sasha and Malia Obama love their daddy the way Chris Matthews does and if those horrible rumors about the Obama marriage crack-up in the Enquirer turn out to be true, we do know at least one “journalist” who’d be happy to let Bo crash on his couch for as long as he wants.

Defining quote: “I look at Obama as a perfect American,” Mr. Matthews said, according to the show’s transcript. “I don’t mean politically. … But as a citizen. The guy went to school, he never broke a law. He did everything right. He raised a wonderful family. He’s a good husband, a good father. My God, I don’t think he’s ever gotten a speeding ticket. The guy does everything right.” — Chris Matthews

9) Hillary Clinton: Wow, what a role model! She married a guy who screwed half of Arkansas behind her back, leveraged people’s pity for her into a Senate seat in New York and then turned a failed presidential run into an abysmal term as a Secretary of State that was most noteworthy because her incompetence got Americans killed in Benghazi. After all that, she wants to run for President again. Wheeeeeeeeeeee!

Defining quote: “With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans. Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night decided to go kill some Americans? What difference at this point does it make?” — Hillary Clinton on her department’s lies to the American people about an Al-Qaeda attack.

5, 6, 7 & 8) Michael Eric-Dyson / Jesse Jackson / Al Sharpton / Touré:All of these men are listed together because they’re such indistinguishable professional race hustlers that they don’t even merit their own entries. All four of these men have managed to turn finding new and creative reasons to call people racists into a profession that’s probably only slightly more reputable than professional kidnapper or puppy torturer (Saddam Hussein probably had one of those, right?).

Defining Conversation: “Matt Lewis: It took 10 minutes — 10 minutes to get to the race issue. Clearly that’s why RepublicansMichael Eric-Dyson: Sir, sir — I didn’t interrupt you when you were offering bromides.

Matt Lewis: I didn’t accused anybody of being

Michael Eric-Dyson: Hold on, I didn’t interrupt you. Don’t interrupt me.

Martin Bashir: Matt, Matt

Michael Eric-Dyson: Don’t deploy the very principles of white privilege to silence a black man on the panel because you don’t want to talk about race. So be quiet.” — Michael Eric Dyson plays the “white privilege card” on Daily Caller writer, Matt Lewis

4) Martin Bashir: Happily, in the unlikely event that Bashir is ever remembered in the history books, it will be as the cable news host who was fired from MSNBC for suggesting that someone defecate in Sarah Palin’s mouth.

Defining quote: “One of the most comprehensive first-person accounts of slavery comes from the personal diary of a man called Thomas Thistlewood, who kept copious notes for 39 years….In 1756, he records that ‘a slave named Darby catched eating canes; had him well flogged and pickled, then made Hector, another slave, s-h-i-t in his mouth.’ This became known as ‘Darby’s Dose,’ a punishment invented by Thistlewood that spoke only of the slave owners’ savagery and inhumanity….When Mrs. Palin invoked slavery, she doesn’t just prove her rank ignorance. She confirms that if anyone truly qualified for a dose of discipline from Thomas Thistlewood, then she would be the outstanding candidate.” — Martin Bashir explains why Sarah Palin should have someone crap in her mouth.

3) Harry Reid: Reid spent 2013 picking on kids with cancer and driving a dagger through the heart of the filibuster, which will make our system of government considerably less stable from here on out. In other words, he’s both a terrible human being AND a terrible Senate majority leader.

Defining quote: “If you can help one child who has cancer, why wouldn’t you do it?,” Bash asked.“Why would we want to do that?” — Harry Reid

2) Melissa Harris-Perry: It’s tempting to lump Melissa Harris-Perry in with the other race hustlers, but her tampon earrings, mockery of Mitt Romney’s adopted child and her creepy, fascistic desire to see children pried away from their parents sets her apart. It’s like Al Sharpton mixed with Leon Trotsky, all rolled up in one hateful package!

Defining quote: “We have to break through our kind of private idea that kids belong to their parents or kids belong to their families, and recognize that kids belong to whole communities.” — Melissa Harris-Perry

1) Barack Obama: America’s worst President offered up another year of lies, division, vacuous speeches and selfies to go along with what may be the worst government program in America’s history. Ironically, even as his administration proved to be completely incompetent in every facet of governance and utterly lawless, Obama demanded more power over gun laws, immigration, our taxes and our health care. We should be grateful he spends so much time on vacation because the country is safer every time that nincompoop goes out of town.

Defining quote #1: “Now, if you have or had one of these plans before the Affordable Care Act came into law and you really liked that plan, what we said was you can keep it if it hasn’t changed since the law passed.” — Barack Obama lies about his “If you like your plan, you can keep it” lie.

Defining quote #2: “Well, you’ve touched on it to a degree. (Obama) made so many promises. We thought that he was going to be – I shouldn’t say this at Christmastime, but – the next messiah.” — If you want to know how a buffoon like this could spend two terms in the White House, this quote from Barbara Walters offers up a lot of insight.

Why Are They Trying So Hard To Demonize Gun Owners?

This is from The D.C.Clothesline.

The left knows that their sheeple get their news from ABC,NBC,CBS,CNN and PMSNBC.

These upstanding news talking heads are the guardians of the Truth.

At least this is how they portray themselves.

The truth be told about them the Obama Media would make Nazi Propaganda Minister

Joseph Goebbels turn green with envy.

There is an all-out effort to demonize gun owners in the United States today.  Those that own guns are repeatedly portrayed as being uneducated, mentally deficient racists in the mainstream media.  No evidence is ever produced to actually back up those claims.  Gun owners regularly make lists of “potential terrorists”in official government documents, and many government officials openly regard them as ultra-paranoid “conspiracy nuts” that are a serious threat to national security.  Of course the truth is that gun owners are actually among themost law-abiding and patriotic people in the entire nation, but that doesn’t really fit with the radical gun control agenda of the progressive elite.  In order to move their agenda forward, they must make gun owners look bad, and they will go to ridiculous extremes in order to achieve that goal.  And to a certain extent, it is working.  As you will see below, some large financial companies no longer want to conduct business with gun owners, and just the sight of a gun is enough to get people freaking out and calling the police in many communities in America today.

Never underestimate the power of propaganda.  Just think about it – pretty much the only time that advocates for gun owner organizations are invited to appear on the mainstream media is when the big news organizations think that they can make them look bad.  Other than a few token appearances by pro-gun advocates, most of the time it is a relentless flood of anti-gun messages on the mainstream news.

And often the anti-gun messages that Americans are being fed are absolutely absurd.  In fact, they would be absolutely hilarious if so many people were not taking them so seriously.

For example, Michael Moore actually believes that the reason why so many “white people” want to own guns is because they are “afraid of black people”…

“It’s because too many white people are afraid of black people. Period. The vast majority of the guns in the U.S. are sold to white people who live in the suburbs or the country. When we fantasize about being mugged or home invaded, what’s the image of the perpetrator in our heads? Is it the freckled-face kid from down the street – or is it someone who is, if not black, at least poor?”

And Chris Matthews is apparently convinced that most gun owners are virulent racists that hate Barack Obama just because he has dark skin…

I have to tell you this. I see a far bigger fight than over background checksand gun shows. It’s culture war. They don’t accept an African-American president or president of color who has some antecedence in Africa. No. It has to be us or him. And our guns or him. And everything is totemic; everything is iconic; everything’s fighting words.

It is easy to laugh at such bizarre comments, but millions of people actually take these jokers seriously, and they are having an impact.

Just recently, the owner of one of the largest gun stores in America, Hyatt Gun Shop, was informed by his credit card processor (Authorize.net) that he had violated their service agreement and they no longer wanted his business.

So what did Hyatt Gun Shop do wrong?

Well, they sold guns.

Yes, I know that this sounds crazy, but this is actually happening.  The following is the text of the actual email that Larry Hyatt received

Dear Hyatt Gun Shop Inc,

Authorize.Net LLC (“Authorize.Net”) has determined that the nature of your business constitutes a violation of Section 2.xiv of the Authorize.Net Acceptable Use Guidelines and Sections 3.3 and 11.3 of the Authorize.NetService Agreement (the “Agreement”).

These sections include, but are not limited to, the sale of firearms or any similar product.

Accordingly, pursuant to Section 4 of the Acceptable Use Guidelines, your ability to access and use the Authorize.Net Services will be terminated on September 30, 2013.

And in case you are tempted to think that this is not a big deal, it should also be noted that Authorize.net is a fully-owned subsidiary of Visa USA.

Are big financial companies such as Visa going to start simply refusing to do business with anyone that sells guns?

If you believe that this could never happen, just check out what the owner of American Spirit Arms said about his dealings with Bank of America on Facebook

My name is Joe Sirochman owner of American Spirit Arms and I wanted to share my recent experience with Bank of America (which we have been doing business with for over 10 years)…. Everyone is familiar with the latest increase in guns sales, dealers selling out of inventory,Manufacturers back logged for months, large revenue all generated in the last two weeks …. American Spirit Arms is no exception to the overwhelming demand. What we have experienced is that our web site orders have jumped 500% causing our web site E commerce processing larger Deposits to BANK OF AMERICA ..Well, this through up a huge RED Flag with Bank of America . So they decided to hold the deposits for further review, meaning that the orders/payments that were coming in through the web, (being paid by the customer and that were shipped out by American Spirit Arms), the BANK was keeping (UNDER REVIEW )..as you could imagine this made me furious…After countless hours on the phonewith BANK OF AMERICA I finally got a Manager in the right department that told me the reason that the deposits were on hold for FURTHER REVIEW …HER EXACT WORDS WERE ….. “WE BELIEVE YOU SHOULD NOT BE SELLING GUNS and PARTS ON THE INTERNET”

But of course it is not just financial companies that are demonizing gun owners.

Some more examples of this phenomenon were cited in a commentary authored by Dr. Michael S. Brown

In San Clemente, California, a school groundskeeper who had won a large sexual harassment settlement from the local school district was the target of a dramatic SWAT team raid on his residence. He was held on one million dollars bail for the heinous crime of possessing allegedly stolen rakes and buckets. Someone, perhaps seeking revenge, tipped off the police that the man had a large gun collection.

News reports contained no mention of the man making threats or plotting violence; he simply owned guns. A school district administrator was quoted as saying, “I’m personally horrified that someone who has daily contact in the vicinity of children and teachers owned the arsenal he apparently had.” Other officials crowed that they had prevented another Columbine. It is unlikely that the man will receive justice in a culture that vilifies gun owning citizens in this manner.

At a large university in Seattle, a white collar employee with an excellent work record was involved in a minor dispute over computer access. When he was called into the administrator’s office to discuss it, two campus police officers were present. “We know you have a concealed weapons permit. Are you armed?” He was not, but the damage to his reputation had already been done. Apparently, a coworker who was competing with the man for a position had tipped off the administration that he was a gun owner.

We are rapidly getting to the point where being a gun owner in America will automatically make you an outcast.

And progressive strategists don’t plan on letting up.  In fact, it was recently revealed that they have drafted an 80 page “how-to manual” that actually encourages gun control advocates to emotionally exploit major shooting incidents to advance the cause of gun control…

Democratic strategists have drafted a how-to manual on manipulating the public’s emotions toward gun control in the aftermath of a major shooting.

“A high-profile gun-violence incident temporarily draws more people into the conversation about gun violence,” asserts the guide. “We should rely on emotionally powerful language, feelings and images to bring home the terrible impact of gun violence.”

The 80-page document titled “Preventing Gun Violence Through Effective Messaging,” also urges gun-control advocates use images of frightening-looking guns and shooting scenes to make their point.

“The most powerful time to communicate is when concern and emotions are running at their peak,” the guide insists. “The debate over gun violence in America is periodically punctuated by high-profile gun violence incidents including Columbine, Virginia Tech, Tucson, the Trayvon Martin killing, Aurora and Oak Creek. When an incident such as these attracts sustained media attention, it creates a unique climate for our communications efforts.”

If you would like to read the entire manual, you can find it right here.

And of course Barack Obama continues to issue more executive orders about guns almost every time a major shooting incident makes the news.

But with conservatives in charge of the U.S. House of Representatives, he knows that there is a limit on what he will be able to do for now.

So the Obama administration has been busy pushing the new international treaty on arms regulation that it hopes will advance the cause of gun control.  Fortunately, many gun owner organizations are deeply concerned about this and they are sounding the alarm.  The following is from a recent Fox News article about this new treaty…

But the treaty also advocates keeping data of arms purchases, which the NRA and other groups say could be used as an international log to keep tabs on gun owners.

The record-keeping section in the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) encourages members to “maintain records of conventional arms covered under Article 2,” which include battle tanks, armored combat vehicles, large-caliber artillery systems, warships and small arms and light weapons.

Further, those records should be kept for a minimum of 10 years, the treaty states — which NRA leader Wayne LaPierre has referred to as “nothing more than gun registration by a different name.”

Because the treaty’s language is so broad, LaPierre has said that “manufacturers of civilian shotguns would have to comply with the same regulatory process as a manufacturer of military attack helicopters.”

One thing is for sure – the attacks from the progressives on gun owners are not going to stop.

It does not matter to them that a study that was recently published in the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy discovered that nations that have more guns tend to have less crime.

It does not matter to them that approximately 200,000 women in the United States use guns to protect themselves against sexual crime every single year.

Apparently what those women are supposed to do is be sexually assaulted first and then call the police for help.

That sounds absolutely insane, but that is the world that the progressives want us to live in.

Let us hope that they do not win.

MAN ORDERED TO APOLOGIZE FOR ‘WHAT WHITE PEOPLE DID TO BLACK PEOPLE’ AT GUNPOINT

This is from Breitbarts Big Government.

This is outrageous.

Take notice it took place on the left coast.

Seattle — One man was left trembling after another pulled a loaded firearm on him and reportedly demanded that he apologize to black people for all the wrongs white people have done to them. Police arrested the suspect, finding the firearm and ammunition.

Chikwanha E. Nyashanu, 35-years old, is being held on $100,000 bail with prosecutors seeking to increase the amount to $500,000, according to Brandi Kruse of MyNorthwest.com. “King County District Court Judge Arthur R. Chapman called his actions ‘inexplicable’ and deemed him a danger to the community,” she wrote.

The incident reportedly occurred after 9 PM. After the alleged victim called police, the suspected perpetrator was soon arrested–after being tased. Nyashanu was reportedly identified by the victim as the “same person who had just pointed a handgun at him for 15-20 seconds and demanded he apologize for all the things white people did to black people,” reported Kruse.

She added that court documents revealed the suspect as a black male and the victim as a white male.

If the allegations against Nyashanu prove true, the entire ordeal could have been avoided had the alleged gunman devotedly watched MSNBC’s Chris Matthews evening program, as Matthews recently apologized on behalf of all white people.

Never Take a Liberal to a Gun Fight

This is from Town Hall.

If someone comes at me with a ax handle he will get a .40 cal round or two.

If he wants to fight again I will shoot him as I am no longer able to fight

and I am to crippled to run away.

If this half wit liberal want to talk of run go for it.

When laws get to the point that they attempt to regulate against natural instinct, common sense is not long for this world. In typical liberal fashion Mayors Against Illegal Guns handed out some strange self-defense pointers. The Executive Director of Mayor Bloomberg’s antigun juggernaut, Mark Glaze, suggested that victims of potentially lethal attacks should use their words – not their legal firearm – to protect their life.

Speaking to Chris Mathew’s giant head, Glaze said victims should “deescalate the situation” rather than employing deadly force against their attacker:

MARK GLAZE: Very often somebody will come at you. They might want to have a fistfight. They might come at you with an axe handle.

CHRIS MATTHEWS: Would you consider the guy with the axe handle armed or not?

MARK GLAZE: Not with a gun.

CHRIS MATTHEWS: I would consider him armed [laughter].

MARK GLAZE: I have a word for him. I grew up in Colorado where my dad was a gun dealer, and a guy who shoots somebody who has anything other than a gun when they could have done something else like talk or fight with their fists –

CHRIS MATTHEWS: How do you talk to a guy with an axe handle?

MARK GLAZE: Well, you fight him. You run away. You deescalate the situation.

Don’t you see? According to Glaze, if a guy attacks you with a wooden axe handle you should chat with him. This self-defense advice – aside from being incredibly dangerous – seems tremendously unfair for the would-be victim. Didn’t we learn in pre-school that sticks and stones can break bones, but words can never hurt anyone? Whether the man with the axe handle has the intent to kill becomes surprisingly irrelevant when he is directing clear and aggressive force – with means, and opportunity for bodily harm – against an unarmed victim.

And while Glaze campaigns for laws that would require women to run away from their rapists instead of stopping them with force, most Americans seem to know better. Over two million times each year firearms are used to stop lethal assailants in their criminal acts. Police are equipped with guns, not talking points, to combat armed thugs. Even Glaze surrounds himself with armed security because he know that his recommendation might not be enough to combat a threat on the gun-free streets of New York, Chicago, or LA.

It seems as if liberal elites are increasingly living in a world where they confuse what they think ought to be possible with what is actually possible.  In the highest echelons of Liberal elitism, there seems to be a belief that if we act like guns are the problem. . . Well, then they are. This sense of invincibility when it comes to their agenda and their ideology has plagued Washington for decades. It is this inability to recognize the realities of their actions that has plunged the US into $16.7 trillion worth of debt. It is this assumption that liberalism is infallible that encouraged Democrats to pass a healthcare law while millions of Americans struggled to find work; and they believe it is right, not because of Obamacare’s demonstrable consequences, but because of its altruistic intentions. It’s this kind of liberal elitism that keeps the Federal Reserve printing presses rolling while unemployment remains stubbornly high.

To the liberal elite that want to tell the rest of us how to live, this is not a matter of action and consequence. If we lived in a world without crime, greed, or disaster, Mark Glaze’s remarks might make sense. Elitists like Glaze insist we work backwards by living as if we have already arrived in a utopia. In a perfect world there would be no need for guns. So Liberals try to ban them. In a perfect world, no one would want to drink 32 oz. of sugary soda. So liberals try to ban them. In a perfect world there would be no need for companies to move their profits overseas. So liberals try to ban the practice.

Rather than eliminating the core problems, liberals like to regulate the symptoms. Rather than cracking down on violent criminals, they tell law abiding citizens to disarm. Rather than targeting the unfair and burdensome tax code, they target the companies that avoid punitive taxation. Rather than encouraging natural consequences, Liberals encourage Nannyism.

So, while Mark Glaze tells victims to use their words, Americans should go with their instincts. If someone comes at you with an axe handle, use your best judgment. . . And maybe that .38 snub nose.

Jackson, Sharpton and Holder Want a National Conversation About Race

This is from Girls Just Wanna Have Guns.

I can just imagine how that conversation would go.

Listen up You Creepy Ass Crackers and all of you racist honkies.

The Department of  Injustice will not prosecute brothers.

We will prosecute all of you Creepy As crackers and honkies

with made up civil rights charges.

We know who did not support the brother in the White House

and you will pay for your nonsupport.

esse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and Eric Holder are all talking about having a “national conversation” about race. Luckily, I know that they do not represent all blacks in America, because my impression is that their idea of a “conversation” is them telling whites how terrible and racist we are.

Then we are supposed to bow our heads in shame and say, “Yes, you’re right, we’re all awful, evil people and even if we personally never did anything to anyone, we are still responsible for all whites and all whites’ behavior.” What they are really looking for is conFRONTation, not conVERsation.

So a true conversation will likely never happen. Oh, sure, liberal folks like Chris Matthews will play their assigned roles and apologize for all of us and actually think that‘s helping start a conversation. But just as Al and friends don’t speak for all blacks, Chris Matthews does NOT speak for all white people any more than I do. How absolutely arrogant of him to even think he can say that.

So I have a few things to tell Jesse, Al, Eric and Chris. They hate the history of racism and the treatment of blacks, as well they should. And I would never say that racism doesn’t exist. But they act like they are different than those that they hate – and they are not. They are the exact same people. For many years, white people had the “power” to “be” racist, to act without impunity, even without punishment or accountability.

Now that pendulum has swung the other way. Blacks are the ones with the “power” to be racist, to act without impunity or accountability. So now that they have this same power they hated in whites, are they proving that they are superior to the white racists? No. Are they thinking that even though they have the power, they are not using or abusing it? No, they are taking full advantage of it. Everyone always has their excuses for their bad behavior. Slave owners truly believed they were superior to blacks.

Today’s black racists truly believe they have the “right” to oppress because they (or their ancestors) were oppressed. But they are both wrong and two wrongs can never make the past right.

I place some blame on President Obama. He ran on uniting the country. The very first time an incident happened where blacks beat up a white and said, “Now it’s our turn,” I thought he would come out and say, “I won’t tolerate that. I said we will be one America. My Justice Department will go after ALL hate crimes not just white on black.” But no, he didn’t say a peep. When the Black Panthers stood outside the polling place, he should have immediately stepped in and said it was unacceptable. But he didn’t. He missed critical moments in his presidency where he could have truly made a difference in race relations in this country.

Mainly, I blame the black racists for their own behavior the same as I blame white racists for their own behavior. I am not responsible for how white racists behave and I will not apologize for behavior that is not mine, the same as I will not blame all blacks for the behavior of black racists like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and Eric Holder. Those three need to realize that there will never be a national conversation where all whites say, “You’re right, we’re sorry and you can do whatever you want to us and take whatever you want from us and we deserve it.”

But until they realize that what they are modeling is as disgusting and despicable as the Ku Klux Klan, nothing will ever change. As whites we have been told that it is up to us to confront other whites when they are being racist and tell them we won’t tolerate it and don’t approve of it. And I’ll probably get called racist for even pointing out all of this but as a white person I’m used to that. However, until all races can confront the racism within their own race without being attacked for it by their own, there will be no national conversation. Sadly, I don’t anticipate that happening any time soon.

Boston Bomber to be buried at Arlington

This is from Joe For America.

If she was dishonorably discharged doesn’t that she is

not eligible for Arlington burial.

This woman is bat s**t crazy.

I have an idea shoot her and feed them both to the hogs.

On the other hand it would be cruelty to animals.

If Julie Frein has anything to say about it…

Tamerlan Tsarnaev, aka: The Islamic jihadist scumbag, aka: the dead Boston Bomber will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery if one US Air Force Veteran has her way.

Yes, you heard that right. The murdering, older brother who killed three and maimed hundreds more innocent people at the Boston Marathon, including an eight-year-old blown to bits has been offered a National Cemetery burial plot by a USAF veteran named Julie Frein. What?

You heard right – Julie Frein served two years of a four-year commitment some time ago and was discharged honorably. Well, something went very, very wrong because this biat-shiite crazy woman has made a teary-eyed request to give her burial plot bequeathed to her by America to her fellow biat-shiite crazy traveler Tamerlan Tsarnaev.

Sure, he’s an extremist killer, but that’s cool with Julie Frein, I guess. She just “wants the hate to stop…” I also guess she wasn’t paying attention when it was reported that this little fartknocker from Chechnya would have continued killing in Times Square and anywhere else he could, had he not been thwarted by Boston Authorities and subsequently ran over by his little brother accomplis.

We have a military which is Constitutionally compelled for one reason – to protect our country from foreigners who want us gone. I know there’s securing energy supplies, trade routes and keeping the free market rocking for all of us, but the bottom line is our military is for blowing up stuff and killing people.

So what was Julie Fein doing in the military in the first place? I’ll tell you: It’s because of the social experiment the Armed Forces has had to endure. I for one am glad she’s no longer in the Armed Forces, but this is proof she should be put in a rubber room.

I can understand, back in the day honoring a worthy opponent. What I don’t understand and will never understand is honoring a scumbag Islamic Terrorist. Tamerlan Tsarnaev is hated and reviled by all Americans – especially this American – and just the suggestion that he receive an honorable burial plot anywhere is complete lunacy. Unless you’re a leftist or Chris Matthews. But I repeat myself.

Let’s be honest, this is a Barack Obama wet dream. There must be a chill going up the leg of The President at the prospect that this Muslim extremist, this Islamic Terrorist, this Jihadist women and children killer in the name of Allah could be buried at Arlington National Cemetery.

For a man who cannot even say the words in public, an America-hating terrorist buried at the most hallowed ground in our country must be the things that Hope & Change are made of.

Top 10 liberal race cards

This is from Human Events.

The Obama camp is getting desperate.

They know Obama can not run on his record.

So in desperation they break out the race card.

Liberals are starting to hear the dog-whistles they say conservatives slip into their conversations as racial code words and have discovered an amazing array of such language relating to criticism of President Obama. Be prepared to cut down on your vocabulary after seeing the list of these liberal race cards.

1. Chicago

MSNBC host Chris Matthews put Chicago on the table as a term that conjures up stereotypical images of the inner city. “They keep saying Chicago by the way, have you noticed? They keep saying Chicago. That’s another thing that sends that message—this guy’s helping the poor people in the bad neighborhoods, screwing us in the ‘burbs.” On the panel with Matthews, John Heilemann of New York Magazine, then chirped in, “There’s a lot of black people in Chicago.”

2. Birther jokes

Matthews said that Mitt Romney’s joke that “no one’s ever asked to see my birth certificate” was part of an “endless ethnic attack” on Obama. “That cheap shot … was awful,” Matthews said to Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus. “It is an embarrassment to your party to play that card … you are playing that ethnic card there.”

3. Polling

Leave it to noted political scholar and “30 Rock” TV-star Alec Baldwin to put his finger on opinion polling as a hitherto form of virulent racism. Still using electronic devices after the embarrassing voice-mail rant he once sent to his daughter (where he famously called her a “rude thoughtless pig”), Baldwin recently tweeted, “If Obama Was White, He’d Be Up By 17 Points.”

4. Golf

When Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) joked that Obama was “working to earn a spot on the PGA Tour,” MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell knew what was really going on: racism. “Well, we know exactly what he’s trying to do there. He is trying to align to Tiger Woods and surely, the—lifestyle of Tiger Woods with Barack Obama. … these people reach for every single possible racial double entendre they can find in every one of these speeches.”

5. Financial reform

Vice President Joe Biden warned a campaign rally in Danville, Va., which included a large number of minorities, that Romney’s financial reform efforts would essentially re-introduce slavery to the nation. “In the first hundred days he’s going to let the big banks once again write their own rules—unchain Wall Street. They’re going to put y’all back in chains.”

6. Voter ID laws

Republican efforts to rid voter rolls of felons, illegal immigrants, and dead people is really just all about racism, say liberals ranging from MSNBC host Al Sharpton to Attorney General Eric Holder. Sharpton said that voter ID laws were a “deliberate attempt to try to suppress our votes in particularly minority communities that are disproportionately impacted, senior and students,” while Holder likened the laws to the Jim Crow era “poll taxes.”

7. Eric Holder’s contempt charge

Writing in the Huffington Post, Al Sharpton gave a lengthy discourse to a charge that the contempt of Congress charged voted on by the House was similar to New York police’s “stop-and-frisk” policy. “Tattered down and publicly humiliated, AG Holder has been mishandled just like the young Black and Latino men (and women) who are demonized on our streets everyday…”

8. Welfare fraud

Matthews went on this soliloquy that blamed any opposition to social anti-poverty programs to deep-rooted racism. “Nothing is more primitive than to beat the drums of tribal grievance,” Matthews said. “Welfare cheating, food stamp grabbing are all part of the lingo, along with the old calls for law and order and states rights and all the rest. Say what you want, the message is familiar, deeply redolent of the old demagoguery that stirs up the working white people against the black.”

9. Branding analogies

When Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour said, “While I would love for Christie to put a hot poker to Obama’s butt, I thought he did what he was supposed to do,” about New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s keynote address at the Republican National Convention, liberal commentators were quick to criticize the remarks, saying Barbour was essentially calling for a branding of the nation’s first black president. Talking Points Memo editor Josh Marshall tweeted, “Archaic klan torture techniques.”

10. Anger references

When Mitt Romney said that President Obama should take his “campaign of division and anger and hate back to Chicago,” MSNBC co-host Toure heard a racial diatribe. “He’s really trying to use racial coding and access some really deep stereotypes about the angry black man. This is part of the playbook against Obama, the ‘otherization,’ he’s not like us. … You are not one of us, you are like the scary black man who we’ve been trained to fear.”
