Even CNN Agrees: IG Report On Lyin’ McCabe Is Terrible And He Had To Go

H/T Town Hall.

Even the hacks at the Communist News Network understands Andrew McCabe is a lying scumbag.

Andrew McCabe needs to be prosecuted for lying and lose his pension.

On Friday, the Department of Justice Inspector General’s report on ex-Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe was released. It was scathing. It was damning. It was what we all expected it to be. McCabe was fired for lying to investigators and signing off on an unauthorized media leak to The Wall Street Journal about the tension between DOJ and FBI over the Clinton Foundation probe. It was warranted. This was not a Trump White House recommendation either. The Office of Professional Responsibility also recommended that McCabe be given the axe, which he did hours before he was about to retire and claim a multi-million dollar pension.

Let’s just say this. For once, CNN was able to agree that what Andrew McCabe did was terrible, lying under oath (three times), and he should be fired. Former FBI Supervisory Special Agent James Gagliano took McCabe to the woodshed over his lies, saying he deserved to be fired. From probationary agents out of Quantico to the Deputy Director and beyond within the agency, there has to be the same standard. If you lie, you’re gone. Period. Gagliano also noted that a nonpartisan Obama-appointed IG, who unlike his colleagues did not make his decisions based on politics, conducted this investigation.

Another thing this IG report re-confirmed (again) was that the Clinton Foundation was, indeed, under investigation.

Here’s a partial thread of the IG report:

NameRedacted7@NameRedacted7

1. I’m taking my time reading the McCabe report from @JusticeOIG and so far I’m floored. This is a 30+ page report on misconduct by fired Dep Dir McCabe; I intend this thread to be a work in progress as I make my way through it & will suppliment work done by others.

NameRedacted7@NameRedacted7

7. This follows Barrett’s Oct 23, ’16 WSJ article revealing McCabes wife received almost $700,000 from Terry McCauliffe for her senate run at a time McCabe was over seeing TWO Clinton investigations & mcauliffe was under FBI probe.

NameRedacted7@NameRedacted7

8. This led to great panic on the part of McCabe who within days ordered his Aide Lisa Page & AD/OPA Kortan to meet w Barrett. They communicated w him several times about this ultimately revealing that DOJ wanted the Clinton Foundation case stopped.

NameRedacted7@NameRedacted7

9. McCabe took a call Aug 12, ’16 from Principal Associate Deputy Attorney General at DOJ who was the point person for DOJ on that case. It was heated & McCabe allegedly (his words) asked point blank if DOJ was asking FBI to kill a valid case.

NameRedacted7@NameRedacted7

10. What happened next is Page & Kortan at McCabes order leak this fact to Barrett who then publishes it on Oct 30, ’16.

NameRedacted7@NameRedacted7

11. From pages 6-11 the report details the aftermath: the Justice Dept was fit to be tied. @tracybeanz thread details this in depth. First McCabe lied and pointed suspicion both internally at FBI & at DOJ blaming WashDC & NYC Field Offices. (WFO & NYFO).

NameRedacted7@NameRedacted7

12. This is a crucial. McCabe knowingly used his aide & FBI Public Affairs to leak unauthorized to the WSJ to cover up his own conflicts of interest that may signal other more egregious felonies he has committed at the Bureau.see @The_War_Economy teeets about McCabe addresses

NameRedacted7@NameRedacted7

13. McCabe goes so far as to tell the Asst Dir In Charge, WFO (ADIC-WFO) to quote: ‘get your house in order’. He called him incompetent w full knowledge he was blaming the man for his own crime. Yes, it is a felony.

NameRedacted7@NameRedacted7

14. Circle back: McCabe has now accused ADIC-NYFO & ADIC-WFO of the leak he knowingly perpetrated to hide his own misdeeds. This triggers an FBI Inspection Division mole hunt that targets the entire Counter Intelligence division who had access to both Clinton cases: email & Fdtn.

Some in the anti-NRA crowd were quick to jump on yesterday’s shooting at YouTube headquarters in another effort to push the Left’s narrative, but the facts of the matter aren’t backing up the talking points:

NBC fires Matt Lauer after complaint about ‘inappropriate sexual behavior’

H/T CNN.

Matt Liar(Lauer) should have been fired years ago for journalistic fraud  fired for but he gets  fired after complaint about ‘inappropriate sexual behavior.

Matt Lauer was fired from NBC News on Wednesday after an employee filed a complaint about “inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace,” the network announced.

Savannah Guthrie made the announcement at the top of the “Today” show. “We are devastated,” she said.

The “Today” show is one of the most popular and most profitable franchises on American television. Lauer was the cornerstone of the program for two decades.

So his sudden ouster came as a shock to viewers — but not as a complete surprise to his “Today” show colleagues. They knew that multiple news outlets were investigating Lauer’s off-camera conduct.

NBC News chairman Andrew Lack said in an early morning memo to staff that the complaint was filed on Monday night. Lack said it was the first complaint lodged against Lauer in his career at the network. But he also said “we were also presented with reason to believe this may not have been an isolated incident.”

Indeed, Lack and other NBC News executives have known for weeks that damaging stories could be coming out soon.

Reporters for The New York Times have been investigating Lauer for weeks, according to sources who had been contacted by the Times.

And Variety’s New York bureau chief Ramin Setoodeh said on Twitter that he and his colleagues have been doing reporting “about serious sexual harassment allegations against Lauer” for two months.

“There were multiple victims,” Setoodeh tweeted.

Lauer was not immediately reachable for comment by CNN. An NBC News spokeswoman declined to comment beyond the information in Lack’s memo.

Lauer was informed of the network’s decision late Tuesday night, before he went to bed, according to a source with knowledge of the situation.

And Guthrie, his co-host for the past five years, was told overnight.

“We were both woken up with the news kind of predawn,” Guthrie’s co-host Hoda Kotb said.“And we’re trying to process it and make sense of it. And it will take some time for that.”

Related: Read Andrew Lack’s memo to NBC staff

Lauer is the latest high-profile man in media to be brought down by allegations of inappropriate sexual behavior. Just last week, CBS News fired one of its own morning anchors, Charlie Rose, after a report in The Washington Post chronicled years of alleged sexual misconduct on his part.

The torrent began when The New York Times and The New Yorker reported on allegations against the Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein.

Since then, actors Kevin Spacey and Louis C.K. have been suspended or removed from projects after allegations against them became public. And other prominent journalists, including Mark Halperin of NBC and Michael Oreskes of NPR, have been fired or suspended from their jobs.

Related: CBS News and PBS fire Charlie Rose

The firing of Lauer removes one of the most recognizable personalities on television at a time when morning news programs are increasingly important to network news divisions.

“This is a sad morning at ‘Today’ and NBC News,” Guthrie said at the top of the 7 a.m. hour. “As I’m sure you can understand, we are devastated. I’m heartbroken for Matt.”

Guthrie also said she was heartbroken for the woman who accused Lauer of misconduct, noting “it’s long overdue” that women feel comfortable coming forward against abusive men.

Hoda Kotb, on the set with Guthrie, said she has known Lauer for years and “loved him as a friend and a colleague.”

“It’s hard to reconcile the man who walks in every day” with the person who was identified in the complaint, she said.

Lauer, 59, was named a co-anchor of “Today” in January 1997 after three years as the newsreader.

He co-anchored NBC’s coverage of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks and other historic news events.

His contract calls for him to be paid tens of millions a year. It reportedly ran through 2018.

Arkansas plans to execute 8 men over 10 days

H/T CNN.

I personally do not care how much some murdering scumbag suffers as they are being executed.

I personally feel you should die the way your victim died.

I hear people say that the death penalty is not a deterrent to crime however it is as that person will never commit a crime again.

If the penalty is carried out in a timely fashion it will make some people think twice about killing someone as they know they will die quickly.

There are a couple of graphs but I was unable to copy them you can see them at the link above.

Eight men are scheduled to be executed by lethal injection in Arkansas in the space of just 10 days, according to Gov. Asa Hutchinson’s office.

The state — which has not put anyone to death for 11 years — plans to execute the men in pairs between April 17 and April 27.
So many executions in such a short amount of time is “unprecedented” in the United States, said a spokesman for a group that monitors US executions.
Since the resumption of the use of the death penalty in 1977, only twice has a state conducted eight executions in a single calendar month, said Robert Dunham, executive director of the Death Penalty Information Center. Texas did so in May and June of 1977. But “no state has ever conducted eight executions over a 10-day period,” Dunham said.
Thirty-one states currently administer the death penalty, and lethal injection is the primary means of execution in all of them. The number of executions carried out in the United States fell to a 25-year low in 2016.
Death penalty opponents were quick to criticize the planned executions.
“The Arkansas Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty (ACADP) is outraged by … plans to carry out eight executions within the span of ten days in April,” the organization said. “This planned mass execution is grotesque and unprecedented.”
Attorneys for the eight men are attempting to block the executions.
They argue that Midazolam — the drug used to render inmates unconscious before they are given two more drugs that paralyze and kill them — does not effectively keep those being executed from experiencing a painful death.
The second drug, pancuronium bromide, paralyzes the inmate. The third, potassium chloride, brings on cardiac arrest and stops the heart.
“Unless the prisoner is unconscious, then drugs two and three will cause pain — torturous punishment, in violation of the Eighth Amendment, and state guarantees against cruel and unusual punishment,” said Jeffrey Rosenzweig, an attorney for three of the inmates.
He pointed to what he said were “botched executions” in several states that also involved Midazolam.
Rosenzweig said the attorneys also have asked for clarification about whether a previously granted stay of execution is still in effect in Arkansas.
The stay was put in place while nine inmates asked the US Supreme Court to review an Arkansas Supreme Court decision to uphold the statutes that outline the state’s execution protocol.
The high court declined to hear the case last week, and Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge said at the time in a statement that the decision cleared the path for executions to resume.
“As required by law, I have set the execution dates for the eight convicted of capital murder,” the Arkansas governor said in a statement sent to CNN on Thursday. “This is based upon the Attorney General’s referral and the exhaustion of all appeals and court reviews that have been ongoing for more than a decade.
“This action is necessary to fulfill the requirement of the law, but it is also important to bring closure to the victims’ families who have lived with the court appeals and uncertainty for a very long time.”

Renewed debate over lethal injections

Most recently an execution in Alabama rekindled the debate regarding lethal injection. During his execution, Ronald B. Smith reportedly “appeared to be struggling for breath and heaved and coughed and clenched his left fist,” according to reporting by AL.com.
Reports also have emerged from executions in Oklahoma, Ohio and Arizona that inmates visibly struggled — and possibly woke up — after the final two injections were administered. “Midazolam may put you to sleep initially,” the Death Penalty Information Center’s Dunham told CNN, “but it doesn’t render you insensate.”
Dunham said the succession of so many executions raises the risk of something going wrong.
“To attempt eight executions with Midazolam — including four multiple executions — is unheard of and reckless,” Dunham told CNN.

Supply of heart-stopping drug expired last month

It remains unclear whether or not the Arkansas Department of Correction will be able to go ahead with the executions as planned.
Rosenzweig said any of the inmates could file last-minute challenges or appeals. The state also is missing one of the drugs required in the execution procedure.
According to Solomon Graves, a spokesman for the Department of Correction, Arkansas’ supply of potassium chloride — the final drug to be administered — expired last month. But the governor’s spokesman, JR Davis, said Hutchinson “is confident in the department’s ability to procure the expired drug.”
Graves also said that the state’s supply of Midazolam is set to expire in April. Critics say the state is racing to execute the inmates before the drug expires. “This expiration date is directly linked to the state’s urgency to execute eight men in ten days,” the Arkansas Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty said.
Arkansas code allows execution by electrocution if the state is unable to use lethal injection, though Rosenzweig said he thinks doing so would be difficult. “I think the general consensus is electrocution is cruel and unusual punishment,” he said. “If they attempt to do that, that’s going to engender other challenges.”

Attorney: Use of Midazolam result of ‘herd mentality’

The controversy surrounding the use of Midazolam has been brewing for years.
In 2010, European drug manufacturers began to ban exports of the cocktail ingredients to the United States.
he following year, concerned about the use of sodium thiopental in executions, Illinois-based Hospira stopped making the drug, and Danish firm Lundbeck banned US prisons from using its pentobarbital.
The United Kingdom also introduced a ban on exporting sodium thiopental, and the European Union has taken an official stance — by approving trade restrictions on goods used for capital punishment and torture.
States have since turned to Midazolam as a substitute, but Dunham said there is no clear reason why. “There has been a herd mentality when it comes to execution drugs and procedures,” he said, and after one state was able to carry out an execution using Midazolam, others followed.

Romney met privately with Kristol to discuss third-party candidate

This is from CNN.

Mitt Romney and William Kristol are a big part of the problem with the Republican party.

Romney turned voters off in 2012 what makes Kristol think he would do any better in 2016.

Washington (CNN)Mitt Romney met privately with leading conservative columnist William Kristol this week to discuss how best to get an independent candidate into the presidential race.

The meeting on Thursday comes as anti-Donald Trump conservatives cling to hope that a viable third-party candidate could offer an alternative to the billionaire businessman and the likely Democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton.
Kristol, the editor of The Weekly Standard, told CNN Special Correspondent Jamie Gangel that he’s working to get a strong independent candidate and wanted Romney’s thoughts on who it might be, how it could be done and whether Romney would help — to which Romney agreed.
Kristol then suggested that Romney should consider whether he “might be the candidate” — although Kristol qualified the remark by saying he’s not “actively working to get him to run.”
A message left with a spokeswoman for Romney was not immediately returned. The meeting was first reported by The Washington Post Friday night.
Romney in the past has said he is not interested in an independent run. In January 2015, he floated the idea of mounting a third presidential bid as a Republican before saying he wouldn’t seek the GOP nomination. Since then, he’s become perhaps the most notable anti-Trump Republican, delivering a sweeping broadside against the now-presumptive nominee back in March when he called Trump a “phony” and a “fraud.”

WATCH: CNN Host Abruptly Ends Segment When Guest Digs Up THIS Dirt From Hillary’s Past

This is from Western Journalism.

I remember during the Clinton Regime CNN was called The Clinton News Network.

I am not surprised in the least they will try to protect the Hildabeast once again.

“You don’t even want to hear it?”

CNN host Carol Costello of CNN Newsroom With Carol Costello, interviewed Newsmax’s Steve Malzberg Tuesday. Malzberg, a Trump supporter, told Costello, “When you get one-on-one, especially if it’s Hillary, okay Donald Trump will go places nobody is willing to go, where the media at this point isn’t willing to go, bringing up Clinton’s women who say they were intimidated by Hillary. Having them come forward and speak. A litany of issues that you can’t even imagine.”

In reference to Trump’s own problems with female vote Costello responded, “I’m thinking that might not be a winning argument for Donald Trump right at this moment.” Malzberg insisted focusing on the Clintons would certainly be a winning argument. He said, “Do you know how many young women in this country don’t even know that Bill Clinton was impeached? No, maybe they’ve heard Monica Lewinsky. They don’t know the women that have accused Bill Clinton of sexual improprieties and that say they have been threatened and intimidated by Hillary Clinton.”

(Conversation begins at 5:33 in video below.)

Maltzberg continued, “A girl who was raped by a pedophile that Hillary Clinton bragged about getting off,” but Costello interrupted. “Oh, come on,” Costello said. Malzberg said, “Wait, let me finish.” “No, no, no, no,” Costello insisted. “What do you mean? You don’t even want to hear it? That Hillary Clinton is on tape bragging about, as a lawyer getting off on a technicality. That woman now says, ‘Hillary ruined my life.’ That’s not fair?” Malzberg asked. Costello again said, “Okay, I’m gonna leave it there. No, no.”

Costello appeared to not wish to engage Maltzberg with the story which Fox News’ Jude Jeanine Pirro aired and Western Journalism reported. The case involved a 41-year-old, defended by Clinton, whose accuser was a 12-year-old of girl. Clinton can be seen in a video apparently bragging about her defendant’s ability to pass a polygraph test and then proceeded to smear the credibility of the accuser. Pirro concluded, “You blame the victim and you laugh about it … And you want us to believe that you’re going to protect us?”

Justice Department Bringing Corruption Charges Against Democrat Senator Bob Menendez

This is from Independent Journal Review.

How corrupt is Senator Robert Menedez (D-NJ) if the Obama Regime is bringing charges against him?

CNN reports that the Department of Justice is preparing to file corruption charges against Senator Robert Menedez (D-NJ), for allegedly using his influence to propel “business interest” of a friend and fellow political donor in exchange for gifts:

According to CNN:

“People briefed on the case say Attorney General Eric Holder has signed off on prosecutors’ request to proceed with charges, CNN has learned exclusively. An announcement could come within weeks. Prosecutors are under pressure in part because of the statute of limitation on some of the allegations.

The case could pose a high-profile test of the Justice Department’s ability to prosecute sitting lawmakers, having already spawned a legal battle over whether key evidence the government has gathered is protected by the Constitution’s Speech and Debate clause.”

The corruption charges will be primarily focused on Menedez and his affiliation with Salomon Melgen. Melgen, an ophthalmologist, has been a long time political donor and advocate for Menendez.

Menendez has long been the subject of political controversy. In 2012, it was rumored that he paid for sex in the Dominican Republic. He later described this as a smear campaign.

Menendez also went on vacation with Melgen to the Dominican Republic in 2010. The trip cost came in at $58,000, which Menendez was required to pay back after failing to disclose the nature of the excursion.

Melgen’s offices in West Palm Beach, Florida were raided by the FBI twice over concerns about his professional financial practices, though the Justice Department has said that those matters will not be a part of the case against Sen. Menendez.

BS Alert: Every 28 hours a black person is killed by a cop

This is from The Black Sphere.

I fell down deep in my heart that Obama and his media lap dogs would love to see a race war happen.

The sad part of this story is how many blacks believe this BullShi#.

Blacks-killed-by-police-300x168I was on CNN with Marc Lamont Hill and he made the nonsensical claim that every 28 hours an unarmed black person is killed by a cop. Here he is saying the same thing to Larry Elder.

https://social.newsinc.com/media/json/69017/26552878/singleVideoOG.html?videoId=26552878&type=VideoPlayer/16×9&widgetId=2&trackingGroup=69017

Even if it were true, it wouldn’t be that surprising. Based on that meme, 313 black people die at the hands of police, annually. Given the amount of interactions by police in the black community, and the lawlessness of many of these communities, that number would make sense.

Hill, et al when speaking of this stat don’t offer the idea that perhaps in an overwhelming majority of these cases, the cops were justified to kill these people.

Hill says these blacks were “unarmed.” Like in the Michael Brown story, where the unarmed gentle giant was shot with his ‘hands up?’

For Hill it doesn’t matter that Brown attacked the cop and would have shot him, had he gotten his gun. He was indeed unarmed when he was shot.

And what of Eric Garner, another unarmed black man who was one hot dog from a heart attack to begin with?

Nevertheless, the argument of “28 hours” is bogus, as this article on the Washington Post website points out:

The figure “every 28 hours” comes from an April 2013 report titled “Operation Ghetto Storm” by the Malcolm X Grassroots Movement. The report analyzed officer-involved killings of African-American victims in 2012. The report “is a window offering a cold, hard, and fact-based view into the thinking and practice of a government and a society that will spare no cost to control the lives of Black people,” according to the preface.

The report looked at the deaths of 313 African-American men, women and children in 2012, who were killed by police officers, security guards or “vigilantes.” Vigilantes are defined “self-appointed enforcers of the law” who had immunity under self-defense legal protections such as the stand-your-ground law or the castle doctrine.

If you divide the number of hours in a year (8,760) by 313 deaths, it does come out to one death per 28 hours. But the rest of the claim is problematic.

Among those killed in 2012, 136 people (44 percent) had no weapon on them when they died. That negates the claim that people who were killed “every 28 hours” were unarmed. Since the study looked at police officers, security guards, police officers moonlighting as security guards, and “vigilantes” that do not fit under any of the other categories, the claim that an African American is killed “every 28 hours” by a police officer is also false.

The “every 28 hours” figure is being quoted by thousands of people, including those who accurately cite the figure based on the report’s findings.

The report’s author, Arlene Eisen, wrote in an article in September that the use of “every 28 hours” as a standalone figure oversimplifies the point made in her report, which was to “prevent future extrajudicial killings of Black people by those paid or sanctioned (security guards and vigilantes) by the national security state, it is important to know that these killings are a result of the perpetual war on Black people.”

There is no accurate or comprehensive figure for the rate of homicides by police in the United States. The Killed By Police Facebook page posts news reports of officer-involved homicides starting May 1, 2013. The FBI’s database is limited, and uses self-reported and conservative estimates. It’s even more difficult to accurately study the racial breakdowns of victims who were killed by police. Even so, the data yield an interesting statistic: A white police officer killed a black person nearly two times a week during a seven-year period ending in 2012, according to a USA Today review of the most recent accounts of justifiable homicide reported to the FBI.

In the absence of reliable official reports, it might make some sense that protesters turned to Eisen’s research of news articles, police department announcements, obituaries, interviews with crime beat reporters, social media postings and other sources.

Yet the methodology of this report is curious…

“I don’t think the burden should be on me to prove that it’s an accurate list. I’m saying it’s not accurate. It’s a way undercount. If you want a full count, you should demand it from the Department of Justice,” she said.

Marc Lamont Hill later corrected his on air statement, after PolitiFact rated this claim false in August. Don’t think this dissuaded him to think twice before race pimping.

What I can tell you is about every 4 hours, a black person kills another black person. This is true of whites as well. The problem is white people have six times the population of blacks, so blacks are 600 percent more likely than to kill another black, than a white person is likely to kill another white person.

You won’t hear a Leftist discuss this stat.
