‘He was not an AMERICAN!’: Sheriff defies Obama’s order to lower flag for Mandela

This is from BizPac Review.

I say Bravo to Sheriff Rick Clark of Pickens County, S.C.

Not only is Mandela not an American he is a terrorist and

a Communist.

Sheriff Rick Clark

Pickens County Sheriff Rick Clark  Facebook

For one South Carolina sheriff, defying President Obama’s order to lower the American flag to half-staff in honor of former South African PresidentNelson Mandela is simple: Mandela “was not an American.”

Pickens County Sheriff Rick Clark took toFacebook Friday to explain to seemingly supportive residents why he will not lower the flag at the Sheriff’s Office for Mandela, despite Obama’s Dec. 5 Presidential Proclamation:

I usually don’t post political items, but today is different. I received this notification today, “As a mark of respect for the memory of Nelson Mandela, the President orders that the flag of the United States be flown at half-staff effective immediately until sunset, December 9, 2013″

Nelson Mandela did great things for his country and was a brave man but he was not an AMERICAN!!! The flag should be lowered at our Embassy in S. Africa, but not here. Our flag is at half staff today for a Deputy in the low country who died going to help his fellow Deputy. He deserves the honor. I have ordered that the flag here at my office back up after tomorrow’s mourning of Pearl Harbor Day!

On Thursday, Obama took the rare step of ordering all American flags on government buildings lowered to half-staff until Monday, Dec. 9 in honor of the death of a foreign leader.

According to NPR, Obama did not issue the same proclamation upon the death of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

“In fact, the last foreign dignitary to be memorialized with the flag was Pope John Paul II in 2005,” NPR reported.

The Presidential Proclamation on the death of Nelson Mandela read, in part:

As a mark of respect for the memory of Nelson Mandela, by the authority vested in me as President of the United States by the Constitution and laws of the United States of America, I hereby order that the flag of the United States shall be flown at half-staff at the White House and upon all public buildings and grounds, at all military posts and naval stations, and on all naval vessels of the Federal Government in the District of Columbia and throughout the United States and its Territories and possessions until sunset, December 9, 2013. I also direct that the flag shall be flown at half-staff for the same length of time at all United States embassies, legations, consular offices, and other facilities abroad, including all military facilities and naval vessels and stations.

Symbols of division

Hat Tip To USA Admiral.

How is it that this is not seen as a symbol of division?
This is how dictators are born.

This flag represents a race monger who engages in class warfare. He has been given undo adoration and a blind following of fools as the lord of governmental parasites.

As with all dictators, he seeks to disarm the civilian populace so that the corrupt state will have the ability to enforce their will with little resistance.

Why is this is seen as a sign of division?

This was a battle flag used in the civil war. It represented the South in the Civil War. There are no faces on it. It does not glorify one individual.

It represented thirteen states.

Of these two flags which one represents greater division?

High school art display encouraged students to step on American flag

This is from Joe For America.

What is taking place in Kentucky?

A few veterans and parents need to stand on this teachers face.

PADUCAH, Ky. – In America, we’re free to express ourselves in many different ways
Some believe disrespectful treatment of the American flag should be on that list. That’s a topic of debate that will probably rage on forever. What shouldn’t be debatable is whether we allow our public schools to encourage this type of behavior.

At Kentucky’s McCracken County High School, a teacher has apologized for setting up an art display involving a U.S. flag lying on the floor in front of a small writing table, according to a report from TheBlaze.com. Students were reportedly encouraged to step on the flag and write how the experience made them feel. The display was apparently a re-creation of a 1989 art display titled “The Proper Way to Display an American Flag.”

As far as how students felt when they stepped on the flag, we’re guessing the standard response was probably “lousy” or “disrespectful.”   But they didn’t need to actually stand on the flag to understand that. Most kids already know that millions of Americans have died or been severely injured in defense of that flag and the values it represents.

So they should understand, without personal experience, that any act of disrespect toward the flag is sickening and morally wrong. You don’t have to rob a bank and murder the employees to know that such an act is wrong. Of course schools should teach students about our constitutional right to express ourselves.

They should also teach students that such freedoms are rare in the world, and they should be grateful to live in a nation that allows such liberty. Putting a flag on the floor and encouraging people to stand on it is not a good way to communicate that lesson. We’re guessing it was some liberal teacher’s attempt to display his radical views while safely framing it as an educational experience.

The good news is that school administrators joined a group of local veterans in giving the flag a proper retirement ceremony, the news report said. We hope the residents of this district made their feelings known about this moronic endeavor and the school board forbids it from happening again.

LIL’ WAYNE STOMPS ON U.S. FLAG, CALLS COUNTRY ‘GODLESS AMERICA’

This is from Breitbarts Big Holly Wood.

It is time to tell PepsiCo to drop Lil’ Wayne as their spokesman

for Mountain Dew.

If the keep this little pos we will boycott all of their products.

Hopefully he will shoot himself  again and get it right.

I was emailed by PepsiCo. they have dropped Lil’Wayne.

The Rev. Jeremiah Wright may have a new favorite rapper.

Lil’ Wayne’s video for the song God Bless America features the outspoken star stomping on the American flag, according to footage taken during the video shoot. That’s not all Lil’ Wayne has to say about his homeland. The song’s lyrics are equally blunt in their distaste for the country.

My country, tis of thee / Sweet land of kill them all and let them die / So God bless America, this so Godless America.”

Time magazine once called Lil’ Wayne the best rapper alive. The star’s life outside the recording booth has been less than tranquil. He once accidentally shot himself in the chest, got arrested on felony drug charges and served an eight-month sentence on weapons charges.

Chapin teacher got $85,000 in flag stomping deal

This is from The State Newspaper Columbia,S.C.

This was a gutless move by the Lexington-Richland 5

school district.

They should have fought this scumbag to the bitter end.

Here is one more reason to do away with Teachers Unions.

You can not fire mental midgets with out a penalty.

CHAPIN, SC — Lexington-Richland 5 paid former Chapin High teacher Scott Compton √ $85,000 to avoid a legal challenge, part of a settlement that led to his resignation after he stomped on an American flag during a class lesson.

The payment is on top of Compton’s salary that will be paid through June 7, even though he has been out of the classroom since December. School officials did not provide Compton’s salary Monday, but their plan pays teachers with his 12 years’ experience $43,340 to $59,647 a year.

Lexington-Richland 5 taxpayers also will foot the bill for more than $31,500 in attorney fees, records obtained by The State newspaper under a state Freedom of Information Act request show.

The $85,000 payment was described as “a compromise and resolution of disputed claims,” the records say.

It was not disclosed as part of Compton’s resignation, announced March 27, a decision that the settlement says is for “family and personal reasons” not spelled out.

“Prior to his resignation, attorneys for Mr. Compton informed district attorneys that he had prepared a complaint for filing in federal court,” Lexington-Richland 5 spokesman Mark Bounds said.

“Based on financial considerations related to anticipated legal fees to defend such a suit, the insurer made the decision to make a monetary (offer) to Mr. Compton. He accepted the offer.”

Darryl Smalls, Compton’s attorney, declined comment Monday on any aspect of the settlement.

In accepting the payment, Compton agreed not to pursue a legal challenge to how school officials sought his dismissal by seeking damages for claims that include defamation, emotional distress and breach of contract.

As part of the settlement, Lexington-Richland 5 admitted no liability in seeking to fire Compton.

Compton’s resignation is not an admission of wrongdoing, and he is guaranteed a letter of recommendation for future employment, records say.

He also is free to seek unemployment benefits without objection from Lexington-Richland 5.

Compton’s stomping of the flag last fall set off a furor in the community in northern Lexington County.

Some educators and military veterans split on whether dismissal was merited.

Superintendent Stephen Hefner sought to fire Compton, saying the stomping was the latest incident in what Hefner said was a pattern of poor judgment.

Lexington-Richland 5 has no standards for treatment of the flag, but school officials say Compton violated conduct expected of teachers.

Compton, in statements through his lawyer, said the action was not intended to be disrespectful but an effort to promote discussion with students on how the nation is much more than its symbols.

“We’re glad this issue is resolved,” Bounds said. “Its resolution is in the best interest of the district, our teachers and the students we serve.”

Gadsden flag, called Tea Party symbol, removed from New York military armory

This is from Fox News.

This shows how little American History these people know.

Use this link to learn about The Gadsden Flag.

NAVYflagpix.jpg

A group of New York veterans is preparing to march into court after a town ordered the Gadsden flag removed from a military armory.

The city of New Rochelle, N.Y., has removed the Gadsden “Don’t Tread on Me” flag from the New Rochelle Armory after the city council refused to let a veterans organization display the flag, World Net Daily reported.

The United Veterans Memorial and Patriotic Association of New Rochelle is fighting the decision, ordered by City Manager Chuck Strome after complaints that the flag is a symbol of the Tea Party movement, according to World Net Daily.

“Many Americans fought and died for our independence under that flag. . .”

– Richard Thompson, of the Thomas More Law Center

But Strome did an about-face after Peter Parente, president of United Veterans Memorial, sent Strome the history of the Gadsden flag, which is flown beneath the U.S. flag on many military sites, according to World Net Daily.

Then the New Rochelle City Council overruled Strome, voting 5-2 to have the flag removed.

According to the Washington Examiner, the council objected to the flag because they said Parente is a member of the Tea Party and wants to display the flag to push a political agenda.

Parente said no one in the veterans group is a Tea Party member. “I’m a proud Republican,” he told the council, according to the Examiner.

Now, the veterans have found an ally in the Thomas More Law Center and are ready to go to court.

“Their outrageous decision to confiscate a cherished symbol of our War for Independence smacks of pure partisan politics,” Richard Thompson, chief counsel of the Thomas More Law Center, told World Net Daily.

“Many Americans fought and died for our independence under that flag, and the law center will take available means to return the Gadsden flag back on the veterans’ flag pole. As one Revolutionary War hero said, we ‘have just begun to fight,’” he added.

According to the U.S. Navy website, beginning Sept. 11, 2002, all U.S. Navy ships have flown the First Navy Jack flag. The flag, first used by the Continental Navy in 1775, consists of a rattlesnake superimposed across 13 alternating red and white stripes with the motto, “Don’t Tread On Me.”

According to the site, Commodore Esek Hopkins used the First Navy Jack as a signal to engage the British in the American Revolution. The Jack in today’s fleet represents a historic reminder of the nation’s origin.

Marine fights to fly flag at his home

This is from The Daily Caller.

When I read this article I said where is Hypolouxo,Fl

and what is their major malfunction?

After a search I found out Hypolouxo is in Palm Beach County.

The entire Palm Beach County is filled mostly loons.

A strict permitting requirement in Hypoluxo, Fla., has one U.S. Marine fighting to keep flying an American flag on his property.

It all began when 24-year-old Gregory Schaffer installed a flagpole to fly an American flag in his front yard after returning from a tour in Iraq, according to a report from WPTV in Florida.

Days later — after an anonymous neighbor complained — Schaffer was handed a citation from the town calling the flagpole a code violation. The town considers the pole to be a structure, and Schaffer had not obtained a permit.

The town stressed that the flag is not the problem, but rather the pole.

“Well, he can fly his flag; the issue is that he has to get a building permit,” Hypoluxo Building Official Tim Large explained to WPTV.

Schaffer, however, told the local station that since he is renting his property, he will need to hire a third-party contractor to obtain a permit, which could cost up to $1,000.

“I fought for the flag. Now, I’m paying for the flag,” Schaffer said, he added that he does not have any anger toward the neighbor who complained.

“I respect their right to be able to file a complaint and handle things the way they did. Do I respect what they did? No. I respect their ability to do so,” he said.

According to WPTV, the building department is working with Schaffer to help with the proces

NJ town proposes flag ban

This is from My Fox New York.

Has the Mayor of West New York,N.J lost his mind?

This is Un-American  as well as outrageous.

NEW JERSEY (MYFOXNY.COM) –

The Hudson County town of West New York is considering a widespread sign regulation that could include banning American flags from being flown.

The Board of Commissioners have a draft ordinance for “General Sign Regulations“.

Among the prohibited signs under the proposal would be “Flags, banners and pennants.”

This has opponents upset.

“What if I want to hang the American Flag? I can’t,” Frank Ferriero told politickerNJ. “Man, that’s un-American.”

The proposed ordinance was first read at a meeting on Wednesday.  The final vote on the proposal will be held on Feb. 20 at a 7 p.m. meeting at the municipal building.

The ordinance would also ban signs affixed to the exterior of a window or glass, neon signs framing windows, and window and door signs that exceed 15% of the glass area.

WHY DOES THE TEAMSTERS UNION APPEAR TO BE FLYING ITS UNION FLAG ABOVE THE U.S. ONE OUTSIDE THE GROUP’S D.C. HQ?

This is from The Blaze.

The Teamsters think they own the nation.

So the are permitted  to fly their flag above the American flag.

A photo depicting what appears to be the Teamsters Union flag improperly flying above the American flag outside the union’s D.C. headquarters on Tuesday was sent to TheBlaze, and the story of how a Marine veteran who tried to bring it to the group’s attention was treated is sure to raise eyebrows.

The photo was taken by the Marine at approximately 2:10 pm ET and sent to TheBlaze by his brother. Both have requested anonymity for fear of retaliation by the union.

This is the picture:

You can just make out the image of the horses and the star-like figure present in the union’s logo:

A quick view of Google Maps and the street view feature shows the building depicted in the photo above is, in fact, the group’s listed headquarters. The Google image shows the same flag poles:

The union’s headquarters, located at 25 Louisiana Avenue NW, Washington, DC, as seen in Google. (Photo source: Google Maps)

The decision to fly the union flag above the U.S. one seems a clear violation the United States Flag Code. Section “c” of the code states:

(c) No other flag or pennant should be placed above or, if on the same level, to the right of the flag of the United States of America, except during church services conducted by naval chaplains at sea, when the church pennant may be flown above the flag during church services for the personnel of the Navy. No person shall display the flag of the United Nations or any other national or international flag equal, above, or in a position of superior prominence or honor to, or in place of, the flag of the United States at any place within the United States or any Territory or possession thereof: Provided, That nothing in this section shall make unlawful the continuance of the practice heretofore followed of displaying the flag of the United Nations in a position of superior prominence or honor, and other national flags in positions of equal prominence or honor, with that of the flag of the United States at the headquarters of the United Nations.

Austin Man Hangs Empty Chair From Tree Symbolizing President Obama

This is from KEYE TV CBS 42 Austin,Tx.

Why has an empty chair become the symbol for Obama?

Why is the Secret Service worried about this chair?

But they have done nothing about a DemocRat Delegate wanting to kill Romney.

Silly me the delegate is a DemocRat and Romney is Republican.

Yet put an empty chair in a tree and all Hell breaks loose.

A Northwest Austin homeowner, who hung a chair from a tree meant to symbolize President Obama, has taken it down.

The political blog burntorangereport.com first talked about the display in the Spicewood Estates area Wednesday night.

The fold-up chair, with an American flag attached to it, was hung from a tree in front of Bud Johnson’s home and some neighbors complained that it was racist.

KEYE TV News wanted to find out from Johnson about the chair and why he put it up. KEYE TV reporter Lydia Pantazes and photojournalist Mario Pena went to his house Thursday morning. As they arrived, Johnson was taking down the chair and he advised Pantazes and Pena “to get the hell away.”

When Pantazes asked him why he hung the chair from the tree, he responded “Haven’t you heard of the Clint Eastwood thing with the empty chair?”

Johnson also said he’s not a racist and that he doesn’t dislike any race. In addition, he said the chair was not being “lynched”, and when Pantazes asked why he had it hanging from the tree, he said the tree was “the only place I had to put the damn thing.” Johnson then placed the chair on his lawn a few feet away from the tree.

Pantazes talked to a neighbor who told her that Johnson is an overall “good neighbor and a nice guy. He’s just a really conservative Republican.” The neighbor, who did not want to be identified, thought the issue was taken out of context.

Robert Stephenson, who also lives in the area, said there’s “no way you can take that the wrong way.” He called the display was “pretty racist.”

“I’m glad he took it down. I just hope he don’t put it back up,” Stephenson said.
