Watch: Democrats scolded for juvenile iPad stunt on House floor

This is from BizPac Review.

This is a stunt by spoiled brats.

They need to distract the low information voters.

When a Democrat gets his feelings hurt, he just can let it go. This fact was demonstrated by a juvenile stunt performed Thursday by House Democrats staging what can best be described as an “iPad revolt” over something that had happened the week before — the Issa/Cummings dustup following Lois Lerner’s non-testimony at the House Oversight Committee hearing.

Rep. Daniel Kildee, D-Mich., led his contingent of rabble rousing Democrats by offering a resolution to condemn the “offensive and disrespectful manner” U.S. Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif.,  adjourned a House Oversight Committee hearing.

As he did so, fellow Democrats held smart phones and iPads high in the air, each with an image of the brouhaha between the two Congressmen.

It all started when U.S. Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., threw a temper tantrum after the committee hearing was adjourned. Issa defended his actions but nonetheless apologized to Cummings the following day. Although the apology was accepted, that wasn’t enough for Cummings’ Democratic colleagues.

The “iPad revolt” was shut down almost as soon as it began by Rep. Mike Simpson, R-Idaho, who served as the presiding officer.

“We will not proceed until there is decorum in the House,” Simpson said.

HOOD RATS: Thug brothers kill Dad who tried to buy iPad from them through Craigslist

This is from Clash Daily.

Two sons of Obama lured SFC. Jim Vester to his death

promising him to sell him an iPad.

These savages need to be taken to the nearest tree and hung.

Savages                                                                                            Victim

Brothers Tryon, 19, and Tyshaune Kincade, 18, were formally charged Monday in the shooting death of Sergent First Class Jim Vester, 32, after arranging to sell the 12-year military veteran an iPad on Wednesday.

According to phone records released by the police, the Indianapolis father wanted to buy an iPad from the brothers as a Christmas present for his parents based off of their Craigslist ad.

At 3:05pm, Vester texted: ‘Can I get your address’. At 3:14pm, the suspects texted him to meet at 920 Wyckford Dr.

Vester arrived at the address at 3:49pm  and texted: ‘are you here?’ and the suspect quickly replied ‘yes’. Five minutes later Vester was killed.

Police were able to catch the brothers that evening after tracing phone records and interviewing witnesses. They arrested 18-year-old Tyshaune Kincade after pulling him over in a traffic stop.

After searching Tyshaune’s mother’s house ,they were able to figure out that the text messages sent to Vester’s phone came from 19-year-old Tryon Kincade’s phone.

Tryon’s number was also the same one used in other robberies in the area.

The brothers’ next hearing is set for Tuesday.

One of their Facebook pages boasts of going to the school of ‘da thug life’.

Vester left behind his one-year-old son Gavin and wife Jamie.

In the wake of the senseless murder, nearly 1,500 people have donated $58,000 to a fundraiser set up by Vester’s family for the man described as a ‘great cook, loving father and faithful man.’

‘He would drop everything and cross town to help you and your family,’ friend Master Sgt. Jerry Wurm said.

Vester was a career military man, with 12 years of service in the Indiana National Guard, including a year-long tour of duty in Iraq in 2006.

Children Share Personal Stories At Program On Gun Violence

This is from CBS 2 Chicago.

While some of these children’s lives may have been touched

by gun violence.

It is despicable to exploit these children for gun control.

We know of other despot that used children to make gun

control happen in Nazi Germany.

CHICAGO (CBS) — Forget peace marches and rallies, some Chicago kids are taking their concerns about violence straight to the top; not the police chief, not the superintendent, but the president.

CBS 2’s Suzanne Le Mignot reports a group of children has written letters to President Barack Obama, many of them telling personal stories about gun violence.

Ten-year-old Samuel Garner wrote, “I live in Chicago, Illinois, and I want to live.”

The letters will also go to U.S. Sens. Mark Kirk and Dick Durbin.

Garner, a student at the Children’s Defense Fund’s Freedom School at Trinity United Church of Christ, said gun violence is impacting children’s lives, and it needs to stop.

“When I go to sleep at night, I’m afraid, because I have a fear of dying from all this gun violence and stuff, and I’m afraid that someone could come in and make sure I don’t wake up in the morning,” he said.

Eleven-year-old Winston Hill told the other children about how he was checking the news on his iPad one Saturday night, when he came across a story about the shooting death of his 21-year-old cousin.

“Some person walked up to her dorm and shot her in the leg,” he said.

He said she was shot in the leg and the bullet had traveled to her heart and killed her. He said she was his favorite cousin. He cried when he said he misses her and never gets to see her anymore and that she had a lot of dreams.

“If you take away children’s lives; the children are basically the future of the United States and without them, there would be no future,” Hill said.

The students are taking part in the Children’s Defense Fund’s Protect Children, Not Guns campaign.

Rev. Jasmin Taylor, a minister at Trinity UCC, said “The purpose of the event today was our children to get an opportunity to use their voices, to say, ‘I want to live.’”

“We’ve had some powerful stories come out today from some of our children, and some tears were shed,” she added.

Taylor, who runs the program, said it helps children understand when they hear about other children’s experiences with violence.

“I think they’re able to connect better when they’re in a group of their peers, learning and talking about the things they’ve had go on in their families and their experiences,” she said.

Many stood up and said what they want to be when they grow up, including a doctor, a police officer, a firefighters, the President, a princess and a man of God.

“I want to be able to grow up, and achieve my dreams of being a race car driver and a karate teacher,” Garner said through tears.

The children’s letters will be mailed to the president and the senators on Friday.

DHS To America: We Own You

This is from Godfather Politics.

The Department Of Homeland Security is out of control.

I was afraid George W.Bush was opening a can of worms.

We need to elect a  President that will enforce the Constitution. That president must close down these rouge agencies.

By rouge agencies I mean DHS,IRS and the EPA to name a few.

homelandsecurityWhile Americans have been scandalized by stories of TSA thugs helping themselves to the electronic equipment of the passengers they are allegedly suppose to protect, a much worse violation of rights has been going on. As horrible as it is to have government thieves take your iPad, at least in theory they were not supposed to do so. Your iPad is your property and no one is supposed to take it.

But what about the data on your iPad, laptop, or any other electronic device?

In the case of stolen iPads, we are facing government agents who are dabbling in criminal activity that is not part of their official job. In the case of stealing all the data on your iPad, we are facing a criminal organization operating as an agency of our government. And now they have officially told us that that is what they do and there is nothing we can do about it. They have issued the memo: we own you.

Here is the background: on August 27, 2009 the Department of Homeland Slavemastery released a memo promising, “The DHS Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties (CRCL) will also conduct a Civil Liberties Impact Assessment within 120 days.”

Now their assessment has been released three years later. Here is the executive summary sentence:

“We also conclude that imposing a requirement that officers have reasonable suspicion in order to conduct a border search of an electronic device would be operationally harmful without concomitant civil rights/civil liberties benefits” (emphasis added)

So it is official. We can be searched without any basis for suspicion. The message from the Department of Humiliating Servitude is loud and clear: We own you.

DHS is a criminal organization. Here is the law that applies:

“The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”

I am not going to waste the effort arguing that “papers” and “effects” includes electronic devices. That is covered by the word, “duh.”

But what I do hate is how much Obama and Napolitano get blamed for all this by conservative Republicans when it is patently obvious that Bush and Cheney were also ones, long before we heard it from Rahm Emanuel, who were not going to let an emergency go to waste. They and their cronies saddled us with this monstrosity; it has grown worse under Obama but he didn’t hatch it. The Republican Administration from 2001 to 2008 told us the Radical Islamists hated us “for our freedoms,” and then pursued a campaign of appeasement by getting rid of them one by one.

I’m not bitter. Most people throughout most of history have lived as slaves under government occupation. No reason I should expect myself or my children to be some kind of exceptions to the rule (though I believe some day no one on the planet will live under such regimes any more).

But I do bitterly resent having to pretend that this is still America. And I resent even more being expected to impute all the sins of the government to one party and treat the “opposite” party as the good guys. If you have eyes at all you know that this prison is being constructed by bipartisan builders.

When DHS tells us, “we own you,” they are speaking for both parties that share power in our bureausaurian government.

DOJ Targeted Public Library for Lending E-Books ‘Inaccessible’ to the Blind

This is from CNSNews.

When George H.W.Bush signed the ADA into law I said it was a bad law.

Now the genie is out of the bottle and we are paying the price.

We pay higher prices for services and we lose businesses because of this law.

Many small Mom and Pop businesses can not afford to become ADA compliant.

I would like to see the ADA repealed before it does more damage.

We can rest easier knowing the Obama DOJ is after library criminals. – The U.S. Justice Department says it has reached a settlement with the Sacramento (California) Public Library over a trial program the library was conducting that let patrons borrow Barnes and Noble NOOK e-book readers.

DOJ and the National Federation of the Blind objected to the program on grounds that blind people could not use the NOOK e-readers for technological reasons.

The Justice Department said the settlement is aimed at stopping discrimination: “Emerging technologies like e-readers are changing the way we interact with the world around us and we need to ensure that people with disabilities are not excluded from the programs where these devices are used,” said Assistant Attorney General Thomas E. Perez in a news release.

A DOJ official told it interviewed a woman who could not participate in the library’s e-reader program due to her disability and concluded that the program had violated the ADA.

Amy Calhoun, an Electronic Resources Librarian at the Sacramento Public Library who helped launch the ebook reader project, said she was unaware of any objections from a blind person regarding the program. “I have not heard of a specific complaint directly from a patron,” she told “But I do know that patrons who are part of the statewide Braille and talking-book program do get in touch with us for audio books.”

The Sacramento Public Library Authority, which operates 28 libraries, partnered with the book store chain to provide at least one NOOK e-book reader to each of its libraries, pre-loaded with roughly 20 books in all genres.

The library describes the program as a “pilot project,” and it requires patrons to fill out a feedback survey as the program works through its initial stages.

But the Justice Department says a state or local government program that excludes people with disabilities violates the ADA, regardless of whether it is a “pilot” program.

As part of the settlement agreement, the Justice Department directed the library system to purchase at least 18 e-readers that are accessible to the blind, something that comes in the midst of budget cuts that have forced Sacramento libraries to implement one employee furlough day each month for two years.

The library says it will add iPod touch and iPad devices, which read e-books aloud with a computerized voice.

Adding the Apple devices could cost the library anywhere from $3,582 with the purchase of 18 of the most inexpensive iPod Touch models, to $14,922 if they wish to provide the high-end version of the iPad, which cost $829 a piece.

According to an article posted on NFB’s website, while e-books “are an especially exciting development” for blind readers, Nook’s “bookstore, desktop software, mobile software, and dedicated hardware reading devices are all inaccessible to blind users.”

The settlement agreement also directs the library not to buy any additional e-readers that exclude blind or disabled people; and it requires the library system to train its staff on the requirements of the ADA, the DOJ said.

“We are pleased that the Sacramento Public Library Authority worked so cooperatively to adopt measures that will allow patrons with disabilities to avail themselves equally of the library’s programs and services,” said U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of California, Benjamin B. Wagner.

At Least 125 iPads Stolen From San Carlos Best Buy Store

The article and video below are from CBS 5 in San Francisco.
Once they try to use these iPads they can trace them.
I think the police better look at the employees.

SAN CARLOS (CBS SF) – Thieves stole at least 125 Apple iPads from a Best Buy electronics store in San Carlos Thursday night, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies reported to the store at 1127 Industrial Road at about 11:50 p.m., one minute after the commercial alarm began sounding when the suspects pried open the store’s front doors and a security roll-up door, according to the sheriff’s office.
The deputies determined that the suspects slid under the jacked-up security gate and dragged a large locked steel rack containing the 125 tablet computers through a fire exit door and onto a vehicle.
Sheriff’s officials said the loss to the store is estimated to be more than $100,000. According to Best Buy’s website, the latest generation iPads retail for between $500 and $830, depending on storage and networking options.
The suspects fled the scene and had not been found as of Friday morning. The sheriff’s office said there was no description immediately available for them or their vehicle.
Anyone who has information about the burglary is asked to contact sheriff’s Detective Victor Bertolozzi at (650) 363-4057 or to call the office’s anonymous tip line at (800) 547-2700.
