White House denies Gates’ charge that Biden is often wrong

This is from McClatchyDC.

I am going to agree with Jay Carney on this assessment of

Slow Joe Biden often wrong, he is always wrong.

There is an old saying that even a stopped clock is right twice

a day, but this does not apply to Slow Joe Biden.

WASHINGTON — The White House pushed back Wednesday against a harsh critique from former Defense Secretary Robert Gates, who in an upcoming memoir accuses Vice President Joe Biden of being wrong on foreign policy and national security issues over the last 40 years.

President Barack Obama did not have much foreign policy experience when he chose Biden, the former longtime chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, as his running mate in 2008.

But Gates’ criticism follows a long line of complaints from Republicans that Biden has been wrong more often than right.

Republican Mitt Romney in 2008 accused Biden of being “wrong for 30 years;” former George W. Bush strategist Karl Rove in 2010 accused Biden of being “on the wrong end of virtually every foreign policy dispute” since he was elected in the 1970s; and former Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania, in a presidential debate in 2012, said that taking an opinion counter to Biden would ensure accuracy “100 percent of the time.”

Republicans say Biden got it wrong in the 1980s when he said that President Ronald Reagan’s defense buildup would strengthen the Soviet Union rather than defeat it; that he wrongly opposed the 1991 Persian Gulf War under President George H.W. Bush; was wrong after the 2003 U.S. invasion to champion a controversial proposal to divide Iraq into three regions, for Kurds, Sunnis and Shiites; and was wrong when he opposed the surge of extra troops for Iraq in 2007.

On another, Biden now says he regrets one decision: voting for war in Iraq in 2002.

And Biden acknowledged in 2012 that he had advised Obama against launching the mission that ultimately killed Osama bin Laden.

Gates, in his book, called Obama’s decision to order the raid “one of the most courageous decisions I had ever witnessed in the White House.”

But his critique of Biden was tough.

The White House sought Wednesday to portray Biden as a trusted presidential adviser, allowing news photographers to shoot Obama and Biden eating lunch together in the president’s dining room, as the two paused between a national security briefing and a flurry of meetings with intelligence community leaders and Secretary of State John Kerry. They noted Biden had spoken with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al Maliki to pledge U.S. support and aid as his government battles al Qaida-backed insurgents.

Press Secretary Jay Carney said the timing of the luncheon was a coincidence – and that photographers were allowed in as part of the administration’s promise to improve press access. And he said Biden routinely attends major national security meetings when he’s in town.

Carney said the White House disagrees with Gates’ assessment.

“As a senator and as a vice president, Joe Biden has been one of the leading statesmen of his time and he has been an excellent counselor and adviser to the president for the past five years,” Carney said, adding that Biden has played a “key role” in every major national security and foreign policy debate in the White House, including the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

During White House policy debates on Afghanistan, Biden was often portrayed as playing the role of devil’s advocate and reportedly pressed for a more rapid withdrawal of troops from the country than Gates and the military had proposed, citing concerns about the strain of the war on the federal budget and growing opposition to the decade-old conflict.

Obama eventually settled on a middle-of-the-road approach between the military’s recommendations of a slower drawdown and the push for a faster withdrawal.

Carney said the White House knew Gates, who served under President George W. Bush and Obama, was writing the book, “Duty: Memoirs of a Secretary at War,” but didn’t obtain a copy until Tuesday night. The book is due out Tuesday.

Obama also comes in for criticism in the book. Gates wrote that Obama lost faith in the troop increase he ordered in Afghanistan and it was ultimately “all about getting out” of the country, according to the newspapers that obtained copies of the book.

In a lengthy excerpt published in The Wall Street Journal, Gates called Obama’s White House “the most centralized and controlling in national security of any I had seen since Richard Nixon and Henry Kissinger ruled the roost.”

Congress fared even worse.

“Such difficulties within the executive branch were nothing compared with the pain of dealing with Congress,” Gates wrote. “I saw most of Congress as uncivil, incompetent at fulfilling their basic constitutional responsibilities (such as timely appropriations), micromanagerial, parochial, hypocritical, egotistical, thin-skinned and prone to put self (and re-election) before country.”

Biden and Gates did find themselves in agreement at times. Foreign Policy magazine in 2012 – in an article that dubbed Biden the “most powerful U.S. vice president in history save for his immediate predecessor, Dick Cheney” – noted that among other issues, Biden had opposed the intervention in Libya – as did Gates, then the defense secretary.

Biden recently returned from a weeklong trip to Asia, aimed at soothing tensions in the region, an indicator that he’s seen as a skilled diplomat by the White House and by key foreign leaders, said Joel Goldstein, a scholar of the vice presidency at the Saint Louis University School of Law.

“They haven’t been sending him to peripheral countries where nothing is happening, and that doesn’t happen unless the president and his foreign policy team believe he’s someone who can handle those missions,” said Goldstein. “Of course, anyone who serves 36 years in the Senate and as vice president is going to have some issues they’d like to have a do-over. You don’t get always get the easy ones.”

Jay Carney Grows Beard; Dennis Miller Reacts Like You Just Knew He Would

This is from The independent Journal Review.

All I will say is “It’s Miller Time.

On “The O’Reilly Factor” Wednesday night, Bill asked Dennis Miller what he thought about White House press secretary Jay Carney’s new beard. Miller, of course, didn’t miss a beat:

Well Billy, I would say this — he has been acting as a beard for this president for five years. Why not grow one, okay?”

As to be expected, Miller, who is a regular on the show, then launched into the type of hilarious analogy about Carney we’ve all come to know and love.

Bill Clinton to President: Keep Your Promise on Obamacare

This is from NewsMax.

How bad do you have to be to be lectured about

Keeping your word by a convicted perjurer? .

Former President Bill Clinton added to the pressure on President Barack Obama Tuesday to make good on his pledge that people would be able to keep their current healthcare plans if they wanted to, after many received cancellation notices from their insurance carriers.

“I personally believe, even if it takes a change in the law, the president should honor the commitment that the federal government made to those people and let them keep what they got,” Clinton said in an interview with OZY Media founder Carlos Watson.

The comments come just days after President Barack Obama issued an apology to those whose policies got canceled.

Clinton, who has strongly supported Obamacare, gave an example of a young man whose case showed both sides of the healthcare debate. “He has a family, two children, he bought in the individual marketplace. His policy was canceled and one was substituted for it — it doubled his premium.

“Now, I asked him, ‘Same coverage?’ He said, ‘Yeah.’ And I said ‘Are your co-pays and deductibles the same?’ And he said, ‘No, much, much lower.’ So he said, ‘In the years that I use healthcare, I might actually save money, but, you know, we’re all young and we’re all healthy.’ ”

Later Tuesday, White House spokesman Jay Carney said Obama agrees with Clinton and that the administration is making an effort to keep the pledge.

“The president has tasked his team with looking at a range of options to make sure that nobody is put in a position where their plans have been canceled and they can’t afford a better plan,” Carney said at the daily White House press briefing. “The president addressed this very issue in his interview last week.”

Obama had made the pledge that people who liked their healthcare coverage could keep it, but has now backed away from that promise, saying it was only for people whose coverage contained minimum standards set up under the Affordable Care Act.

He apologized during an interview with NBC’s Chuck Todd last week.

“Even though it’s a small percentage of folks who may be disadvantaged, you know, it means a lot to them,” Obama said. “And it’s scary to them. And I am sorry that they, you know, are finding themselves in this situation, based on assurances they got from me.”

The president has since signaled that he is pursuing “administrative” solutions to halt the cancellation of policies.

House Republicans, meanwhile, plan to vote this week on legislation they crafted that would ensure any policy effective in 2013 would be grandfathered in for a year, allowing people to keep their policies should they choose to do so.

Speaker John Boehner on Tuesday issued a statement applauding Clinton’s call for new Obamacare legislation. Boehner said Clinton’s comments “signify a growing recognition that Americans were misled when they were promised that they could keep their coverage under President Obama’s healthcare law.”

Boehner reiterated his assertion that the law needs to be repealed, but said: “While the two parties may disagree on that point, it shouldn’t stop reasonable Democrats from working with us to shield Americans from its most egregious consequences — like the millions of current health plans being canceled.

“That’s why all Democrats concerned about the president’s broken promise should join Republicans in voting to pass the Keep Your Health Plan Act when it comes before the House later this week. President Clinton understood that governing in a divided Washington requires a focus on common ground, and I hope President Obama will follow the former president’s lead.”

Real Number to Lose Coverage: Around 93 Million

This is from Godfather Politics.

Mark Twain once said   “There are three kinds of lies: lies,

damned lies and statistics.”

Now we can add Obamace to the list.

From Conservatives to the Obamabots “Se We Told You So!”

To borrow a quote from Rush Limbaugh.

Even now that it’s been definitively shown that President Obama knew the first time he said “you can keep your coverage” that he was speaking falsely, the media are covering up the real numbers for him.

White House spokesman Jay Carney on Tuesday tried to weasel out of the issue by dismissing the wave of Obamacare-caused insurance cancellations as just the normal routine, only affecting people who buy insurance on their own, a “mere” 5 percent of Americans.

“That’s the universe we’re talking about, 5 percent of the population,” said Carney. “In some of the coverage of this issue in the last several days, you would think that you were talking about 75 percent or 80 percent or 60 percent of the American population.”

But the Administration knows better than that, and what’s more, they knew it when the law first passed.

The Affordable Care Act has some provisions for “grandfathering” in existing policies that don’t meet the new regulations, but those provisions go away at the end of the year.

“The Departments’ mid-range estimate is that 66 percent of small employer plans and 45 percent of large employer plans will relinquish their grandfather status by the end of 2013,” the Administration wrote on page 34,552 of the Federal Register back in 2010.

The midrange — not even the top-most — estimate of the number of people who will actually lose their insurance when Obamacare is done having its way is 93 million.

To make matters more absurd, a recent Gallup poll of the uninsured found more than 36 percent of them — mostly younger — had no intention of signing up for insurance through a government exchange, despite the new law.

That’s really bad news for Obamacare, which like a pyramid scheme relies on higher payments for young new insureds to cover costs for the elderly.

Obamacare was also supposed to lower premiums for everybody, but that claim too has been blown out of the water by reality.

In the final analysis, Obama lied in order to get Obamacare passed. He and the Democrats knew that Americans mostly liked their health insurance and for that reason had resisted other efforts to create a socialized system in the past.

So, just tell Americans what they want to hear: You can keep your insurance if you like it. That way, Obamacare only affects “those” people who aren’t you.

It was a classic snake oil pitch from start to finish.

Obama Stumps for Gun Control While Stockman Bills Would Repeal ‘Gun Free Zones’

Obama was to win the fight with gun owners.

But we will not lay down and let Obama win.

There is a link to the bill by Rep.Steve Stockman(R-Tx) to

eliminate gun free zones.

Stockman bills would repeal “gun free zones”

Gun Owners of America

Gun Owners of America

Washington, DC –-(Ammoland.com)- President Barack Hussein Obama is picking a fight with gun owners once again.

As reported by The Blaze on Tuesday: One day after a deadly middle school shooting in Nevada, President Barack Obama “remains committed” to pushing for stricter gun control laws and will “keep at it,” White House press secretary Jay Carney said Tuesday.

This was the second conspicuous shooting in two months — although the shooting this week did not garner nearly the amount of press that the Navy Yard shooting did in September.

Regardless, the Nevada incident was truly tragic — especially given the fact that Congress has done nothing to let teachers come to the defense of students. The Blaze reports:

Police say a 12-year-old boy at Sparks Middle School near Reno, Nev., shot and injured two classmates and killed math teacher Mike Landsberry, a former Marine who served in Afghanistan and who had been trying to talk the shooter out of harming others. The 12-year-old boy also killed himself.

Okay, what’s wrong with this picture? Can you spot all the ridiculous scenarios that are presented in just that one sentence alone?

This story raises several serious questions:

  1. * Why is a former Marine like teacher Mike Landsberry “trying to talk” the shooter out harming others? Why can’t he have a gun?
  2. * Why shouldn’t a Marine, who has been trained in weaponry, be able to protect himself and his students? Why can’t he have a gun?
  3. * Moreover, why does Congress continue to ignore the 80% of police officers who favor “arming teachers and/or school administrators” who volunteer to carry at their schools? Why wasn’t Landsberry allowed to be armed?
  4. * Finally, why isn’t Nevada following the example of its neighbors — in Utah and Idaho — which are arming teachers at schools?

While several schools in Idaho are now in the process of implementing this policy, Utah has been doing this for several years.

Thankfully, Rep. Steve Stockman (R-TX) has an answer to this insanity — the kind of craziness that keeps our teachers unprotected at schools, or for that matter, that keeps our servicemen unprotected when they are at work.

That’s why Rep. Stockman has introduced:

  1. * HR 35, which would repeal the gun ban that keeps teachers and school administrators defenseless. The bill would thus protect heroes like Assistant Principal Joel Myrick who have actually used a gun to stop a school shooter.
  2. * And HR 3199, which would repeal the ban that keeps servicemen defenseless on military bases.

With ObamaCare “glitches” giving the President headaches, don’t be surprised if he tries to shift the debate at some point after the next shooting.

It’s time to start pushing back — proactively!

ACTION: Click here to urge your Representatives to cosponsor HR 35 and HR 3199. Let them know you don’t want to ban guns; you want to ban gun free zones!

Durbin fabricated story about GOP, says White House

This is from Bizac Review.

Imagine a lying DemocRat and from Illinois also.

Little Dickie Turdbin is a pathological liar.

The White House is refuting claims by U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., who posted a message on his Facebook page saying an unnamed GOP leader told President Obama during government shutdown negotiations that “I cannot even stand to look at you.”

Durbin wrote:

Many Republicans searching for something to say in defense of the disastrous shutdown strategy will say President Obama just doesn’t try hard enough to communicate with Republicans. But in a “negotiation” meeting with the president, one GOP House Leader told the president: “I cannot even stand to look at you.”

What are the chances of an honest conversation with someone who has just said something so disrespectful?

When asked at Wednesday’s White House daily briefing, chief spokesman Jay Carney confirmed he’d discussed the claim with others present at the time, saying they denied it ever happened, according to The Hill.

“It did not happen,” Carney said, explaining he discussed the incident with a “participant in the meeting,” The Hill reported.

After House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, gave a simple one-word denial, his spokesman added that Durbin’s claim “appears to have been invented out of thin air.”

“The senator should disclose who told him this account of events, retract his reckless allegation immediately, and apologize,” the spokesman, Brendan Buck, said.

Rather than argue an issue on its merits, Durbin appears to prefer ad hominem accusations, much like U.S. Sen. Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., the No. 1 Democrat in the Senate. Durbin is the No. 2 Democrat. He’s learning well.

Pres. Obama “Fired Up” and Ready to Repeal Second Amendment

This is from The New American.

I can hear the voices of our founding fathers saying “Get off your backside and put a stop

to Obama Destroying the Constitution.”

I can also hear them say “We started a revolution for a whole lot less than is happening now!”.

Wake my fellow Patriots and Americans before it is too late.

“Sic Semper Tryannis.”

On behalf of your children, President Obama plans to take the guns you own and make it harder for you to buy them.

During a speech September 21 at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Phoenix Awards dinner, the president promised he was turning his attention back to his gun control agenda.

Referring to his failed efforts to irreparably infringe on the right to keep and bear arms begun after the massacre of 20 children and six adults at an elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut, President Obama declared:

We fought a good fight earlier this year, but we came up short. And that means we’ve got to get back up and go back at it. Because as long as there are those who fight to make it as easy as possible for dangerous people to get their hands on a gun, then we’ve got to work as hard as possible for the sake of our children. We’ve got to be ones who are willing to do more work to make it harder.

There could hardly be a more receptive crowd, and the president’s remarks were met with cheers and applause.

Admitting that although there was so much to be done and the repeal of the Second Amendment would be a tall order, President Obama promised supporters that he was “still fired up.”

Given his penchant not only for ignoring the Constitution, but for zealously pursuing the permanent, piecemeal destruction of the roster of fundamental rights it protects, there is little doubt that this will be one promise that President Obama keeps.

Gun owners — the “dangerous people” being targeted by the president — have legitimate reasons to fear the federal government’s assault on the Second Amendment.

After the recent murders at the Navy Yard in D.C., White House spokesman Jay Carney reported that the president is committed to redoubling his efforts to enforce the score of executive orders he signed in the wake of the Newtown tragedy. “The president supports, as do an overwhelming majority of Americans, common-sense measures to reduce gun violence,” Carney said.

Prior to the shootings at the Navy Yard, Vice President Joe Biden announced that through “executive authority,” the president was closing two so-called loopholes in federal gun restrictions. First, corporations purchasing guns will be subject to a background check. Second, the re-importation of almost all surplus military weapons to private individuals will be banned.

His water carriers in Congress were no less anxious to use tragedy as a pretext for tyranny.

Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) lamented the “litany of massacres,” asking, “When will enough be enough? Congress must stop shirking its responsibility and resume a thoughtful debate on gun violence in this country. We must do more to stop this endless loss of life.”

Ironically, that is the same question Americans are asking themselves about the federal government and its daily demolition of the Bill of Rights.

While many Republicans have so far successfully resisted wholesale gun grabs, the compromises by conservatives are stacking up and that which was once a right is become little more than a privilege.

It is undeniable that the requirement that one recur to the government for permission to do something that the Constitution protects as an inherent right of all men is an outright obliteration of the bedrock liberties upon which this Republic was founded.

Remarkably, there are many Republicans and other self-described “pro Second Amendment” politicians who accede to the notion that the government should be permitted to impose “reasonable restrictions” on the owning, buying, selling, and trading of weapons.

True constitutionalists recognize such unconstitutional concessions for what they are: reductions of rights protected by the Constitution. Furthermore, they understand that if we are to remain a free people, we must enforce every provision of the Constitution on every issue without exception; that includes those rights that may be politically unpopular or misunderstood en masse.

The hour is late, but there is still time to ride to the defense of the Constitution and the Second Amendment. Constitutionalists can let the president and their elected representatives in Washington know that they will hold them accountable for each and every attempt to curtail rights that are not theirs to dispose of.

Also, state lawmakers must be aware that voters will likewise hold their feet to the fire and demand that they unqualifiedly reject any effort by the federal government to enforce any act — be it congressional bill, executive order, or regulation — that exceeds the constitutional limits on its power.

As the applause faded at the banquet Saturday night, President Obama undoubtedly rode back to the White House determined to get rid of the guns and increase the surveillance of the “dangerous people” who currently own them.

Were he honest, however, President Obama would admit that the elimination of guns from the world is not the goal of the gun grabbers. Their hidden agenda, the one shared by the president and his fellow internationalists at the United Nations, is the consolidation of monopolistic control over firearms by the plutocrats on the Potomac and Turtle Bay.

Constitutionalists should now be on the lookout for the imminent announcement by Secretary of State John Kerry or by President Obama himself that the United States has signed the UN’s Arms Trade Treaty. That act will be a bellwether of the coming acceleration of the disarmament of the civilian population of the United States.

Will Obama Blame the Duck Dynasty Next?

This is from The Black Sphere.

Obama has blamed everybody and everything for his failures.

So far the only people or imaginary St.Claus,The Easter Bunny,The Tooth fairy

and the people from Duck Dynasty.

So watch where Obama’s blame game goes next.

Abysmal failure Barack Obama is nervously rooting around to find someone to blame for the disaster he’s created and for the roadblocks preventing him from wreaking additional havoc on America. The president is impugning the Republicans as well as radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh, but maybe he should blame the Robertsons of Duck Dynasty.

As President Obama’s poll numbers have plummeted to a point where only 47% of those low-information likely voters still approve of his job performance, an A&E cable reality show featuring a close knit-family of God-fearing, pro-life, gun-toting, beard-sporting, patriotic entrepreneurs from the backwoods of bayou Louisiana is growing in popularity weekly.

Much to Barack Obama’s chagrin, the Robertson family’s God-and-country values evidently appeal to the nearly 11.8 million viewers who tune in.  That’s why a show that embraces everything Barack Obama rejects, and personifies everything he spurns, is poised to make cable history.

The fact that a family from West Monroe, Louisiana, is gaining more and more recognition proves that besides their “guns and religion,” Obama’s vision and values are not the same vision and values most Americans cling to. Phil Robertson, patriarch of Duck Dynasty, was a college football star that turned down an offer from the Washington Redskins because it interfered with duck season.

Phil went on to build a mom-and-pop business and called it the Duck Commander. Then, after Phil’s son Willie graduated from business school, he helped his father turn Duck Commander into a multimillion-dollar operation.  As a result, the Duck Commander now employs half the Robertson’s neighborhood.

That kind of selfish, self-centered, small-business-owner attitude is exactly the type of behavior the president has attempted to discourage for the past five years. What could be worse for Barack Obama than a family who’s made a fortune selling duck calls fashioned out of salvaged swamp cedar wood somehow managing to capture the level of attention that Obama himself craves?

To make matters worse, his rivals are prayerful, bullfrog-eating, deer-hunting men with ZZ Top beards, pickup trucks, and red, white, and blue bandannas. The president probably doesn’t realize it just yet, but without ever mentioning Barack Obama’s name, Duck Dynasty American dream hijinks have subtly exposed his liberal drivel for what it is: drivel. Yet President Obama, who actually tells people that he still “got some game,” continues to perceive himself as the patriarch of his own dynasty.

When not adjusting his newspaper crown he remains very busy pushing a healthcare system no one wants, demanding Americans’ tax dollars pay for abortions most of them reject, and running around the country like a hyperactive schoolboy.

Obama remains indefatigable in trying to convince a nation who disapproves of almost everything he does, that progressive liberalism is the way to go. One would imagine that if Press Secretary/Presidential Propagandist Jay Carney were asked what the President thinks about the Duck Dynasty phenomenon, Carney would likely say the President hasn’t watched the show.  And why would he?

The Robertsons’ redneck rags-to-riches story illustrates the totality of everything Barack Obama has tried to either destroy or demonize. Rest assured, if the president’s popularity continues to wane expect Obama – much like he did with Rush Limbaugh – to try to point the finger of blame at Duck Dynasty and their rebellious audience for encouraging the Republicans in Congress to thwart his plans to move America “FORWARD.”   Duck Commander Classic Commander Call

First dog Bo is airlifted to Obama holiday home

This is from The U.K.Telegraph.

Why can’t Bo fly with Obama or the First Family?

Is it because they are Muslim’s and Muslim’s say dogs are unclean?

What about cutting their travel and vacations due to sequester?

When President Barack Obama goes on holiday to the seaside things can get complicated.

Rooms have to be found for dozens of Secret Service agents, someone has to carry a selection of presidential basketballs, and of course the family dog needs his own state-of-the-art aircraft.

Arriving in the idyllic coastal retreat of Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts, Mr Obama left behind him in Washington DC high profile debates over the budget, government surveillance and his health care reforms. Instead, he will spend the next eight days playing golf, going to the beach, and buying books from the Bunch of Grapes bookstore.

In the air he swapped his suit and tie for khakis and a blue shirt with rolled-up sleeves, while Mrs Obama wore a yellow-and-white summer dress.

Bo, the president’s Portuguese Water Dog, arrived separately on one of two MV-22 Ospreys, a hybrid aircraft which takes off like a helicopter but flies like a plane.

It was the first time the Ospreys have been taken on holiday by a US president.

More than 70 hotel rooms, each costing up to $345 (£220) a night, have been booked out for Secret Service agents, who took charge of luggage including two large mesh bags full of basketballs.

The Obamas are staying in Chilmark on the western tip of the island, an area that is dotted with multi-million dollar homes. The neighbours include actor Ted Danson and the singer Carly Simon.

On several previous visits the Obamas had stayed at the 28-acre Blue Heron Farm, but it has since been sold to Britain’s most celebrated architect, Baron Foster of Thames Bank.

The president has therefore had to downsize to a $7.6 million, 5,000-square foot retreat on nine acres which is owned by a businessman friend from Chicago. It includes a basketball court.

As a result Mr Obama will be staying closer to public roads which will have to be closed as his motorcade heads for the golf course of bookshop.

The Martha’s Vineyard Times newspaper warned residents to expect “extraordinary and lengthy up-island detours”. Local officials also emailed residents, saying: “Anyone aggrieved by this closing should email or call the White House.”

Jay Carney, White House spokesman, said: “Obviously, when you’re President of the United States, you carry a little baggage when you travel. And that’s true whether it’s on a summit, international meeting, a domestic trip, or for a vacation. I know he’s looking forward very much to some down time with his family. I’m sure he’ll see some friends.”

Carney: I.R.S. Run By Bush Political Appointee

This is from The Weekly Standard.

Well I am shocked Obama‘s mouth piece would actually

blame George W.Bush for any thing.

Dodges lighting bolt.

As we all know everything is George W.Bush’s fault.

White House spokesman Jay Carney said, in response to a question about the I.R.S. targeting conservative groups, that the I.R.S. is run by a George W. Bush political appointee:

“I.R.S. is an independent enforcement agency,” said Carney. “The — which I believe, as I understand it, contains only two political appointees within it. The individual who is running the I.R.S. at the time was actually an appointee from the previous administration.”

The previous administration was George W. Bush’s administration.
