Drunk Man Chases Bear into Woods with Hatchet

I see Brad Carpenter as a future Darwin Award winner not Daniel Boone or Davy Crockett.

Police in North Adams, Massachusetts had a strange announcement earlier this week: don’t drink and hatchet. According to officers, an inebriated 60-year-old man was taken into protective custody on Monday night after he grabbed a dull hatchet and began chasing a black bear near his home.

“The North Adams Police Department is urging everyone to NOT chase bears through the woods with a dull hatchet, drunk. Yes that really did happen tonight,” the North Adams Police Department posted to itsFacebook page. “We understand there are bears in the area. If you see a bear, LEAVE IT ALONE and call us. We certainly don’t need anyone going all Davy Crockett chasing it through the woods drunk with a dull hatchet. It is just a bad idea and not going to end well. It will however, certainly end you up in jail…which it did.”

The man was released on Tuesday and has not yet been charged, although that could change pending a police investigation.

ABC News 10 reported that the man has been identified as Brad Carpenter and that the chase occurred near the apartment complex where he lived. According to witnesses, Carpenter saw the bear running through a field and retrieved a hatchet from his car. The man then began chasing after the bear despite protests from bystanders and eventually drove the animal back into the woods.

Yet there may be more to the story than just drunken bravado. Richard Winters, who followed Carpenter to make sure he was safe, said the man may have started chasing the bear to protect some kids nearby.

“He was more concerned about keeping the bear away from the kids, kind of scaring it off,” Winters said.

Police later confirmed that Carpenter also claimed that was why he began harassing the bear.

“[He was] claiming he was trying to protect children,” North Adams Police Sgt. James Burdick told The Berkshire Eagle. “I would guess in his inebriated state he felt he was doing good.”

Baffled officers added that they were unsure of what would have happened if Carpenter caught up to the bear.

“We are still trying to figure out what his end game was. Any thoughts on what he was going to do if he did locate it? We would certainly like to hear because we have no idea,” the department wrote on Facebook.

Perhaps it is fortunate for Carpenter that the bear escaped. In any event, officials reminded residents to leave bears alone and to report aggressive animals to law enforcement. While harassing bears may seem like the right thing to do, keep in mind that these are powerful animals, and unless they are actively attacking someone, should be avoided.

Who Was Saint Patrick?

This is from Mental Floss.

On Tuesday we will be celebrating Saint Patricks Day so here is a little history of Saint Patrick.

According to one legend about St. Patrick was he drove all of the snakes out of Ireland.

But the part about the snakes driven out that does not get told is those snakes moved to Massachusetts and became Kennedys.

Slave, traveler, evangelist, abolitionist, and saint. A scant 400 years after Jesus’ birth, the priest known as Patrick took the Great Commission seriously, to spread the gospel to the ends of the earth by converting the frightening barbarians of that scary outpost known as Ireland. Dates and details of Patrick’s life are somewhat ambiguous since written records from fifth-century Ireland are scarce. A lot of what we know comes from what little Patrick himself wrote, or from biographies written long after his time.

According to tradition, Saint Patrick was born Maewyn Succat in Britain (different sources say England, Scotland, or Wales) to Roman parents around AD 387. In his later ministry, he went by the name Patricius Daorbae which means “Patrick who was once a slave.”

When he was around 16 years old, Patrick was kidnapped by Irish marauders who sold him into slavery to a Druid herdsman named Milchu. Patrick remained in Ireland for six years. During this time, Patrick learned the Celtic language and became acquainted with the practices of the Druids. He later wrote that he became close to God during this time and prayed every night for his deliverance. He ran away after hearing direction from an angel and walked 200 miles to catch a boat back to Britain. Afterward, Patrick was sent to France to begin his training for the priesthood despite the long break in his formal education. When he achieved priesthood, Patrick was assigned to Britain, but his dream was to return to Ireland to convert the pagans.

According to later biographers, his teachers recommended him to Pope Celestine I for a mission to Ireland, or it’s possible he left for Ireland on his own because of a vision. While Patrick was not the first Catholic bishop assigned to Ireland, he was the first who set a goal of converting the entire country. His predecessor Palladius was mainly concerned with ministering to the existing Irish Christian minority in the south and protecting them from the influence of the Druids. Celestine sent Patrick to Ireland in 428 or 432.

Patrick’s first quest in Ireland was to see the slave owner of his youth, the Druid Milchu; not to seek revenge, but to convert him. Milchu heard the news of the priest’s arrival in Ireland and he committed suicide by burning himself, his home, and his treasures before Patrick arrived. Sources of this story vary, with some saying Milchu killed himself out of fear that Patrick wasseeking revenge. Others say Milchu was a proud Druid who preferred death to listening to the foreign gospel. In any case, Patrick was devastated.

Patrick’s first church was in what is now County Down. He converted a Druid chieftain namedDichu who granted him a barn on a hill, or Sabhail (pronounced Saul), where Patrick founded a church.

The priest traveled from coast to coast in Ireland, visiting kings and chieftains, speaking their language and evangelizing. He confronted Druids and performed miracles by resisting their powers and escaping the several times he was taken prisoner. Patrick converted leaders and slaves alike, and founded churches in many corners of Ireland. One Easter, Patrick and his followers started a fire early in the morning near Tara. The local law forbade anyone starting a fire before the king did, so King Laoghaire and his Druid priest faced off with Patrick, who did not back down but told those present of his powerful God. As the story goes, a Druid magician challenged Patrick to a trial by fire, which led to the magician’s death.

Image Cathedral of Armagh. Image by Brian Shaw.

Patrick was especially proud of bringing Christianity to Ulster in the northern part of Ireland, and founded the Cathedral of Armagh, which still stands on a hill he selected.

Odhran, St. Patrick’s charioteer, became a martyr by saving the bishop’s life. Odhran heard a rumor of an assassination, and persuaded Patrick to change jobs with him on the appointed day as a special favor. Unaware of the threat, Patrick granted his wish, and Odhran was attacked and killed.

Patrick was one of the first people in the history of the world to publicly denounce theinstitution of slavery. Slaves had no voice—those in power owned slaves, and the church didn’t condemn slavery for another thousand years. Patrick, however, had been there, done that, and his identification with the downtrodden helped him convert those who were ignored by the powers that be. He was also an early feminist, actively evangelizing women in an age when many missionaries discounted or feared them. His activities in this area may have led to some trouble with the Catholic church, which led to Patrick writing his extensive Confessio.

Croagh Patrick, or St. Patrick’s Mountain, was his refuge and purgatory. It was on this hill that Patrick fasted and prayed for 40 days straight for the people of Ireland. He pleaded to God for special treatment for the Irish on judgment day. The hill became a pilgrimage site, and gold was discovered there in the 1980s, but is not mined.

Later in life, Patrick retired to his first church, Sabhail. He wished to die at Armagh, but a vision told him to stop his journey and return to Saul and remain there. St. Patrick died in 463 or 491 or some year on March 17th, which became his feast day, as is the custom for saints, although St. Patrick was never officially canonized by the Vatican, as his sainthood predated formal canonization.

This means Warren: Obama backs challenger to Hillary

President Obama has quietly promised Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren complete support if she runs for president — a stinging rebuke to his nemesis Hillary Clinton, sources tell me.

Publicly, Obama has remained noncommittal on the 2016 race, but privately he worries that Clinton would undo and undermine many of his policies. There’s also a personal animosity, especially with Bill Clinton, that dates from their tough race six years ago.

A former Harvard law professor and administration aide, Warren would energize the left wing of the Democratic Party just as Obama did against Clinton in 2008.

Thanks to her outspoken stand against big banks and the top 1 percent, Warren is the darling of progressives. She won her Senate seat thanks to millions of dollars in donations from outside Massachusetts, including from rich environmentalists and Hollywood celebrities.

Obama has authorized his chief political adviser, Valerie Jarrett, to conduct a full-court press to convince Warren to throw her hat into the ring.

In the past several weeks, Jarrett has held a series of secret meetings with Warren. During these meetings, Jarrett has explained to Warren that Obama is worried that if Hillary succeeds him in the White House, she will undo many of his policies.

He believes that the populist Warren is the best person to convince the party faithful that Hillary is out of touch with poor Americans and the middle class. Warren, in his view, would carry on the Obama legacy after he leaves the White House.

So far, Warren has been reluctant to make a commitment. During several recent interviews, she has said she has no present plans to run for president.

However, she always phrases her stance on the issue in the present tense and has refused to issue a Shermanesque statement that she will not run for the White House under any circumstances.

“Barack, Michelle and Valerie have been talking about Elizabeth Warren for quite some time,” says an Obama administration source. “Valerie has told Warren that Obama is prepared to throw a great deal of money and organizational support behind her.

“The Obamas believe that Warren sees things from the same ideological point of view as they do. She is a committed progressive who, like Obama, wants to transform America into a European-style democratic-socialist state.”

Bill Clinton has worried for some time about Obama backing another candidate, as I revealed in my book “Blood Feud.”

“I’ve heard from [Democratic] state committeemen about Obama’s preference in ’16,” Bill confided to several of his close friends. “And they tell me that he’s looking around for a candidate who’s just like him. Someone relatively unknown. Someone with a fresh face. He wants to clone himself — to find his Mini-Me.”

When I ran this information before a well-informed Democratic Party operative, he pooh-poohed the scenario.

“It’s all bulls–t,” he said. “The media is creating a Hillary Clinton-Elizabeth Warren rivalry to hype the storyline. If Warren dared to challenge Hillary, women all over America would never forgive her. She’d lose all her credibility.”

That, however, is not the way Valerie Jarrett sees things.

“Both Valerie and Michelle Obama have convinced the president that Elizabeth Warren is his Mini-Me,” said a person who has discussed the issue with Jarrett.

This person continued: “For the time being, the Obamas have decided not to broadcast the fact that they’ve tapped Warren as their chosen candidate. They are waiting until the moment is right, which will probably be after the midterm elections.”

New approach to remove ‘under God’ from pledge may succeed

This is from BizPac Review.

When are we going to stand up to these thugs?

Sadly I say never.

When will the pledge like prayers get banned from schools?

The pilgrims first set foot in the New World on Plymouth Rock in search of religious freedom. Plymouth Rock is located in what would later become known as Massachusetts, and a group of citizens there are now seeking to remove “under God” from the Pledge of Allegiance.

On Sept. 4, the Massachusetts Supreme Court will hear oral arguments on whether the daily recitation of the pledge in school violates students’ rights due to the inclusion of those two words, according to Religion News Service.

Although the controversy centers on the words, “under God,” plaintiffs in Doe v. Action-Boxborough Regional School District are departing from the usual First Amendment religious violation claim, alleging instead that compulsory recitation violates the state’s equal protection laws. That is the same theory used to successfully argue for same-sex marriage.

The plaintiffs, an anonymous atheist couple, are represented by the American Humanist Association. According to the Becket Fund for Religious Freedom:

On October 21, 2011, the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty filed a request to intervene in the case on behalf of students who want to continue saying the Pledge of Allegiance, their parents, and the Knights of Columbus. The Becket Fund entered the case to defend the Pledge from yet another constitutional challenge to the words “under God”.

* * *

On June 8, 2012, a Massachusetts state court upheld the Pledge as constitutional.  The case is now before the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts.  The court has scheduled oral argument for September 4, 2013.

The change in tactics, if successful, could lead to similar lawsuits filed in other state courts, experts predict.

“You would then see a rash of state court lawsuits challenging the pledge all over the country,” said Eric Rassbach, deputy general counsel for the Becket Fund. “A win for us would completely avoid that unnecessary harm. And it would affirm that it is not discriminatory to have the words ‘under God’ in the pledge.

“There is disagreement, but there is not discrimination,” Rassbach added. “That is what is at the heart of this — disagreement about what the government should do.”

Decades ago, the late comedian Red Skelton made a remarkable recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance, and no one has topped it since. If you’re surprised about his deletion of the words, “under God,” continue watching until the end — it’ll all make sense.

First dog Bo is airlifted to Obama holiday home

This is from The U.K.Telegraph.

Why can’t Bo fly with Obama or the First Family?

Is it because they are Muslim’s and Muslim’s say dogs are unclean?

What about cutting their travel and vacations due to sequester?

When President Barack Obama goes on holiday to the seaside things can get complicated.

Rooms have to be found for dozens of Secret Service agents, someone has to carry a selection of presidential basketballs, and of course the family dog needs his own state-of-the-art aircraft.

Arriving in the idyllic coastal retreat of Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts, Mr Obama left behind him in Washington DC high profile debates over the budget, government surveillance and his health care reforms. Instead, he will spend the next eight days playing golf, going to the beach, and buying books from the Bunch of Grapes bookstore.

In the air he swapped his suit and tie for khakis and a blue shirt with rolled-up sleeves, while Mrs Obama wore a yellow-and-white summer dress.

Bo, the president’s Portuguese Water Dog, arrived separately on one of two MV-22 Ospreys, a hybrid aircraft which takes off like a helicopter but flies like a plane.

It was the first time the Ospreys have been taken on holiday by a US president.

More than 70 hotel rooms, each costing up to $345 (£220) a night, have been booked out for Secret Service agents, who took charge of luggage including two large mesh bags full of basketballs.

The Obamas are staying in Chilmark on the western tip of the island, an area that is dotted with multi-million dollar homes. The neighbours include actor Ted Danson and the singer Carly Simon.

On several previous visits the Obamas had stayed at the 28-acre Blue Heron Farm, but it has since been sold to Britain’s most celebrated architect, Baron Foster of Thames Bank.

The president has therefore had to downsize to a $7.6 million, 5,000-square foot retreat on nine acres which is owned by a businessman friend from Chicago. It includes a basketball court.

As a result Mr Obama will be staying closer to public roads which will have to be closed as his motorcade heads for the golf course of bookshop.

The Martha’s Vineyard Times newspaper warned residents to expect “extraordinary and lengthy up-island detours”. Local officials also emailed residents, saying: “Anyone aggrieved by this closing should email or call the White House.”

Jay Carney, White House spokesman, said: “Obviously, when you’re President of the United States, you carry a little baggage when you travel. And that’s true whether it’s on a summit, international meeting, a domestic trip, or for a vacation. I know he’s looking forward very much to some down time with his family. I’m sure he’ll see some friends.”

Teacher who tried to sabotage accreditation process reinstated by labor board

This is from Joe For America.

The Massachusetts labor relations board up holds actions

by a union thug just color me shocked.  Snark.

Anything that happens in the land of Turd(Ted)Kennedy does

not shock me.

ANDOVER, Mass. – Self-serving Massachusetts teacher union activists, listen up: Threatening to harm your students’ academic future in order to gain leverage in labor disputes is now considered protected union activity.

That perplexing decision – which was handed down earlier this month by the Commonwealth Employment Relations Board – is good news for Jen Meagher, the Andover teacher who was fired last year for trying to turn her school’s reaccreditation process into a union bargaining chip with district leaders during a contract dispute.

Not only was Meagher’s behavior found to be legal, but state labor officials have directed Andover school leaders to give the high school English teacher back her job, along with all her missed wages, plus interest.

Last Friday, the Andover school board reluctantly, but unanimously, voted to do just that,

“We feel a teacher shouldn’t be allowed to do what she did,” board member Paula Colby-Clements told the news site. “The fact that CERB has now decided that activity is protected was something we couldn’t have predicted or imagined.”

The board could have appealed CERB’s decision, but members felt “the state appeals court would essentially back the labor board,” reports.

Challenging the decision would only lead to more legal expenses for the budget-conscious district.

“We need to look at the larger picture,” school board president Dennis Forgue said.

The board’s vote marks the official end of the district’s dispute with Meagher, who is expected to rejoin the school in the fall.

The trouble all started on June 10, 2012, when Meagher sent an email to dozens of fellow teacher union members, urging them to “put a hold on” the school’s reaccreditation process by refusing to vote on a series of reports related to that process.

Meagher wanted the union to stall the reaccreditation process until Andover school leaders agreed not to increase teachers’ workload as part of a money-saving plan.

In her email, Meagher told her fellow union members the reaccreditation process “is the only leverage we have left at the bargaining table.

“If, in the end, the (school board) decides that saving $500,000 is more important than preserving accreditation, then so be it,” Meagher wrote in the email. “At least we will know we’ve done all that we can.”

Andover officials were outraged by Meagher’s action, and promptly fired her.

They understand that a school’s accreditation is a serious matter. It’s essentially a seal of approval that tells prospective employers and college admissions officers that graduates from the district received a basic level of education.

If students graduate from an unaccredited school – as Meagher was willing to let happen – their academic qualifications could be called into question as they seek entrance into competitive colleges and universities. Students could find themselves being subjected to more scrutiny than their fellow applicants, and risk being passed over.

But according to Massachusetts’ labor officials, union activists can treat their school’s accreditation like a political football, whenever it suits their financial interests.

The head of Meagher’s union praised the labor board’s decision when it was handed down on July 2.

“A person’s right to engage in protected union activity is sacrosanct for the union, and we stood behind a union member we felt was unjustly terminated for that activity,” Andover Education Association President Kerry Costello told

What a lovely perspective from a group of so-called professional educators, eh?

DHS Targets Gun Owners in Training Video on Terrorism

This is from Godfather Politics.

The Obama administration has a low opinion of gun owners.

So why wouldn’t the DHS  consider gun owners terrorist?

Have you wondered why the Department of Homeland Security has purchased over 2 billion rounds of ammunition, some of which are hollow points that are deemed illegal to use in war by international law?  Or why have they purchased thousands of fully automatic assault rifles?  Why is Obama weeding out top military leaders and only keeping those who say they will fire upon Americans if ordered to do so?

Perhaps a recently revealed DHS training video will shed some light on the answer.  In the video, they show a mock raid and news report on a house with suspected terrorists.  The house is not occupied by Muslim extremists, radical bombers or a violent militant group like Obama’s own New Black Panthers.  They portray the home to be that of a militia group with illegal guns.

They don’t define what ‘illegal guns’ are.  The video seems to have been produced either in 2009 or 2012 before any of the federal or state anti-gun legislation was passed.

Some states at that time like New York, New Jersey, Washington DC and Massachusetts, had strict gun control laws on the books, so was the training video referring to those areas only?

The answer is no.  This was a nationwide training video being used around the country to not only train DHS personnel, but other agencies that would be involved in a crisis situation.  The training has been used with local law enforcement agencies, media outlets and hospital administrators among others.

It seems the video purposely targeted gun owners and intentionally labeled them as militia groups and that all of their guns were illegal.  This is none other than straight forward government propaganda to make all gun owners look like terrorists.

It also revealed that even back in 2009, the Obama administration had their goal set to make guns illegal and to use DHS and other agencies to raid the homes of once legal gun owners.

The Obama administration may have suffered a setback on gun control, but they have too much invested to stop now.  Obama will start using executive orders to get some of the gun control measures into play and he will continue to push Congress to pass the rest.

Once they do, the scenario depicted in the DHS training video will become a reality in many cities across America.  When it does, I’m sure the streets of America will run red with the blood of loyal patriotic Americans and the law enforcement/military/DHS agents sent to take our guns.  May God help us when that time comes, and come it will.

The Sheep of Watertown

This is from American Thinker.

The SS and Heinrich Himmler would be proud.

While I understand the need to search for criminals.

I do not understand violating The Fourth Amendment .

They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

Franklin’s Contributions to the Conference on February 17 (III) Fri, Feb 17, 1775

The events following the Boston bombing were instructive as to how far we have fallen as a free society.  After having failed at their most basic fiduciary responsibility of keeping the country safe (surely more to come on this in the future), the government aggressively flexed its authority over its subjects, the residents of Watertown, Massachusetts.  Juxtaposed with the recent national debate on more stringent gun laws, the future of Americanism is in question.

Most disturbing was to watch the nameless and faceless domestic paramilitary forces all “ninjaed up,” going house-to-house, conducting warrantless searches.  So much for the Constitution’s 4th Amendment protections.

Residents were aggressively forced from their homes at gunpoint, physically pushed from their properties, ordered to put their hands over their heads, and personally searched on the streets, while their homes were subject to search without consent.  The footage found here, as an example, should disturb any American in the alleged land of the free.

While an unusual event, Watertown isn’t the first taste of government-enforced thuggery in the name of law and order.  Reflect back to Hurricane Katrina.  As in the Boston bombing government failure, after failing at all levels of government to respond to the hurricane, the follow-up response to the devastation included disarming law-abiding citizens.

Law enforcement went door-to-door confiscating We the People’s means of self-protection, during a time when looting and robbery were prevalent.  As one of many examples, watch the video here of an elderly woman physically assaulted, tackled, and knocked to the floor in her own kitchen by what can only be described as thugs with badges, so that they could take her sole means of self-defense away.

It is hard to justify or condone the sudden transition of your fellow citizens — the local smile-and-wave, protect-and-serve police force — to the enthusiastic thuggery depicted in this type of video.

As Harry Reid admonished us in the recent gun rights debates, “I’ll vote for the [“assault weapons”] ban because maintaining the law and order is more important than satisfying conspiracy theories who [believe in] black helicopters and false flags.”

Perhaps Senator Reid and his Democrat cohorts didn’t observe the black armored personnel carriers on the streets of America, or the excessive magazine capacity in use by the domestic paramilitary.

Perhaps Senator Reid and his cohorts didn’t see that the domestic paramilitary possessed truly automatic assault weapons of war, which they pointed at We the People as they went door-to-door during these forced evictions and searches.  Perhaps the number of rounds fired well beyond the 10-round magazine capacity determined to be enough by Senator Feinstein during the shootout with the bad guys didn’t register with these progressive senators.

Massachusetts in general and the Boston area in particular are subject to some of the most stringent gun control laws in our country.  We have learned that these two domestic criminals (not enemy combatant-terrorists, according the Obama administration) were illegally in possession of the weapons they used during the shootout, not to mention the bombs they detonated.

While I am sure that this “common sense” is a bit confusing to the likes of Senator Pat Toomey (RINO-PA), criminals, by definition, don’t follow the rules.  Also, as a future tip for Senator Toomey, when you find yourself at odds with your supporters, separated from your own political party, and on the same side of gun control legislation as the Democrats (the recently failed Toomey-Manchin gun control bill), use that as a red flag going forward.

The quick and easy transition from citizen to sheep in Watertown was breathtaking.  Shelter-in-place was the order from the government minders.  Obediently, this major metropolitan area submitted.

Unfortunately, the relative ease of closure and disruption of a major metropolitan area was likely not missed by those who may wish in the future to spread terror among us.

Massachusetts has one of the lowest rates of gun ownership in the nation.  What went through the minds of the sheep while sheltering in place as the wolf prowled around their doors?

How emasculating it must feel to be a husband or father whose only response to grave danger to yourself, your wife, and your family is to cower in your home, door locked, awaiting the wolf to prey upon your family, with the shepherd your only hope of salvation.

With the backdrop of Boston as the location of so many of the American Revolution’s historic events that gave rise to the ideals of Americanism, it is disturbing to see how easily and quickly the government took control over an acquiescent We the People.

How can the government manage us and protect us if we won’t submit?  What have we already traded, and what will we trade in the future for a false sense of safety…the American birthright of freedom and liberty our founders fought and died to secure?

Report: Boston attack suspects not licensed to own firearms

This is from The Hill.

So they want to use this bombing to call for more gun laws.

How well did the gun laws of Massachusetts work?

I have a news flash for you more gun control fools

criminals and terrorist to not comply with gun control laws.

The two suspects in the Boston Marathon bombings were not licensed to have the firearms they used in several shootouts with police on Friday, Reuters reported Sunday night.

The news that the suspects were not authorized to own firearms will likely add fuel to calls for tougher gun laws – an issue that was put on the back-burner last week after the Senate blocked the central elements of a gun-control package backed by President Obama.

Because Massachusetts state law bars handgun ownership for those younger than 21, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, age 26, was the only brother who could have obtained a license from the town of Cambridge, Mass., where he lived. But he didn’t take that step, Dan Riviello, spokesman for the Cambridge Police Department, told Reuters.

“There is no record of him having a license to carry,” Riviello said, according to the news service.

Massachusetts state law allows residents under 21 to have rifles, but only those weapons holding 10 rounds of ammunition or less, and only then if the holder has a police-issued ID card.

Several local jurisdictions where the younger brother Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, has lived and studied told Reuters they have no record of issuing him such a card.

Police say Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev went on a deadly shooting spree Thursday and Friday, killing a university policeman before confronting local officers in a wild firefight in the middle of a Watertown, Mass., street that left the elder brother dead and a transit policeman injured.

In between those two attacks, the brothers allegedly carjacked a motorist at gunpoint, later releasing the unnamed victim unharmed.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev then led law enforcers on an exhaustive manhunt, which ended in his capture Friday night after yet another dramatic shootout with police.

He remains in a Boston hospital in serious but stable condition, according to the head of the Boston police, recovering from injuries that may include a self-induced gunshot wound to his neck.

Elizabeth Warren: Hike Minimum Wage to $22 an Hour

This is from Conservative

This brainless individual does not have a clue about wages,

jobs or how companies and corporations work.

Then listen to Mr.Doobie’s (Dube) answer.

He is even more clueless than Elizabeth Warren.

That my friends is saying a lot.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.) wondered out loud why the nation’s minimum wage isn’t at $22 an hour, during a Senate Committee hearing on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions last week.

“If we started in 1960, and we said that, as productivity goes up — that is, as workers are producing more — then the minimum wage is going to go up the same. And, if that were the case, the minimum wage today would be about $22 an hour. So, my question, Mr. Dube, is what happened to the other $14.75?”
