Gun Control Group Moves to Block Missouri’s Constitutional Carry

This is from The Washington Free Beacon.

Michael Bloomberg and his brain-dead minions are out spreading their fear mongering propaganda.

The people of Missouri need to know the truth about Constitutional Carry.

Bloomberg-backed group runs ads against permitless gun carry bill.

Gun control activists are targeting lawmakers in Missouri over a bill that would legalize permitless gun carry in the state.

The Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund and the Missouri chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, both funded in part by former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, released an ad urging lawmakers to vote against the measure. The legislation would allow any adult who is legally allowed to possess a firearm to carry one on their person without first obtaining a state permit. It would also expand the state’s so-called “Stand Your Ground” protections to include public places.

Everytown labeled the bill “a dangerous package of gun proposals that would dismantle Missouri’s concealed carry permit requirement” in an email to supporters.

“Senate Bill 656 is embarrassing and dangerous,” St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay, a member of Everytown for Gun Safety, said in a statement. “The Missouri Legislature has abandoned this state. It is more concerned about the endorsement of the NRA than the safety of its citizens.”

The group said the ad, which begins airing on Wednesday, is only part of their effort against the bill. It said members had made “hundreds” of calls to legislators opposing permitless carry and other initiatives during the current legislative session. Everytown also said it brought 80 volunteers to the Missouri state house in February to lobby lawmakers.

On the other side of the issue, the NRA appealed to its members to show support for the bill.

“Out-of-state billionaire and former New York City mayor, Michael Bloomberg, has once-again launched a misinformation campaign aimed at undermining the rights of law-abiding Missourians,” an alert sent to NRA members said. “Bloomberg-funded gun control groups are misrepresenting facts and statistics in an attempt to persuade your elected officials to oppose these constitutional carry bills. Don’t let Bloomberg bring his big-city style gun-control to Missouri!”

Advocates are currently pushing for a vote on the bill before the end of the legislative session on Friday.×9&widgetId=2&trackingGroup=69017

Dear NYT Editorial Board, The AR-15 Does Not Fire In ‘Rapid Bursts’

This is from Town Hall.

The New York Times is a mouthpiece for  Michael Bloomberg and his band of miscreants.

The Conservative Political Action Conference earlier this month almost made me forget about this fancy piece of fiction from The New York Times editorial board, which is that the AR-15 is an automatic weapon. The board was voicing their support for Americans to sue the gun industry; it’s a position that would certainly be abused by anti-gun liberals to litigate the gun manufacturers out of existence. We cannot let that happen. This nauseating March 4 op-ed was written as the families of Sandy Hook wait to hear if their lawsuit against Remington Arms can move forward:

The world recoiled in horror in 2012 when 20 Connecticut schoolchildren and six adults were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School by a deranged teenager using a military-style assault rifle to fire 154 rounds in less than five minutes. The weapon was a Bushmaster AR-15 semiautomatic rifle adapted from its original role as a battlefield weapon. The AR-15, which is designed to inflict maximum casualties with rapid bursts, should never have been available for purchase by civilians.

The op-ed was about the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, which Sen. Bernie Sanders voted for in 2005 when he was a member of the House of Representatives, that bars gun manufacturers and gun dealers from any legal action if their products are unknowingly used in felonious activities. It’s a fantastic piece of legislation that further protects our oldest civil right.

Lastly, let’s point out the AR_15 rifle is a semiautomatic weapons system. It fires one round per trigger pull, not “rapid bursts.” To make things more embarrassing, the Times used semiautomatic and rapid bursts in the same sentence. Nomenclature is key when discussing Second Amendment matters–and the liberal media has proven with metronomic regularity that they know nothing about firearms. Granted, I have made some errors in the nomenclature myself, but have always strived to read, understand, and correct the record if someone points out an error. Of course, don’t expect the liberal media or anti-gun liberals to bother doing their homework, or offer corrections for that matter.

Our own Bob Owens over at Bearing Arms took the Times  to the woodshed over this editorial, accused them of lying (which is true), and offered numerous occasions where the AR-15 rifle is used for self-defense, target practice, hunting (he noted that they can be chambered in 30 different calibers for different game animals), and competitive shooting. Millions of Americans own AR-15s. This is nothing more than an egregious assault on our Second Amendment freedoms using the courts since liberals can’t beat us on the legislative end. There’s simply no real room to maneuver. Republicans control two-thirds of the governorships, 66/99 legislatures (the most ever), and have the most lawmakers elected into office since 1920.

Nevertheless, I’ll let Mr. Owens explain a little bit of history to The New York Times:

There has never been a single criminal homicide committed in the United States with a legally-obtained assault rifle, which are heavily-regulated by the National Firearms Act of 1934.

Assault rifles have been outlawed for manufacture for the civilian market since the Hughes Amendment to the Firearm Owners Protection Act of 1986. That is correct: assault rifles have not been made for the civilian market at any price for 30 years.

The evil perpetrator of the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre used the most common and popular semi-automatic rifle sold in the United States, which is not a military assault rifle capable of burst fire.

he 5+ million AR-15s in civilian hands do not have the capability to fire “bursts” in fully automatic mode. They are semi-automatic. One trigger press fires one bullet, and one bullet only.

This self-loading firearm technology was invented in the 1880s and has been in common use for more than one hundred and thirty years. Semi-automatics were adopted for sporting use for two full generations—roughly forty years—before the U.S. military became the first army in the world to adopt semi-automatic rifles for general issue in the 1930s.

Today, semi-automatic is the most action type for rifles and handguns, and is poised to become the most common kind of action for shotguns (presently, only pump action shotguns are more commonly sold).

Meet The Radical Gun Control Group That Pushes The Anti-Gun Hollywood Agenda

This is from The Daily Caller.

Movies and TV have a propaganda message that would make Joseph Goebbels proud.

I was watching a movie where the hitman put a sound suppressor on a revolver to make the hits with.

I was screaming this is so stupid this move does not wok as depicted there was  a police officer using a 1911 that he fired about a dozen times.

This movie was set in the late 20’s or early 30’s.

If you are a gun owner, or even somewhat knowledgeable about guns, sometimes watching television shows or movies can be frustrating.  The depiction of anything firearms-related often seems to have no basis in reality.  You’ll see someone stalking another person with a gun, then several minutes into it decide to rack the pistol and actually load a round.  What would that person have done if he encountered his adversary, politely ask him to wait while he loaded his pistol?  You’ll see people rack empty guns, then insert the magazine, then shoot the gun.  You’ll see people shoot with deadly accuracy pointing from the hip without aiming.  Just today I watched a modern British murder mystery where someone used a “silencer” to make a modern revolver whisper quiet.

Being ignorant of firearms and too lazy to actually learn anything about them for your job is one thing.  Intentionally misrepresenting the truth and slanting your tale to present your leftist agenda surreptitiously is another.

That brings me to the Entertainment Industries Council.  They are an award-winning non-profit organization founded by leaders in the entertainment industry to influence the entertainment industry.  They claim to provide information so that health and social issues are accurately depicted onscreen in feature films, TV and music videos, in music, and within the pages of comic books.

Here are just some of the suggestions they present to writers to guide their scripts so they present the proper view of guns – depicting them as evil, without utility, and unworthy of ownership.

  1. Write stories exaggerating the emotional consequences for the shooter if a gun is used
  2. Write stories showing a gun owner accidently being shot by his own gun
  3. Write stories showing a gun accidently misfiring while loading it
  4. Write stories showing a gun misfiring and shooting someone else when dropped
  5. Write stories that depict a family suing gun manufacturers
  6. Write stories showing that introducing guns makes people more prone to anger and violence
  7. Write stories showing that gun owners are ultimately too afraid to get and use their guns
  8. Write stories showing a teenage girl threatening to break up with her boyfriend if he doesn’t get rid of his gun
  9. Write stories showing parents getting prosecuted for leaving a gun out
  1. Write stories showing that women are more likely to get shot by husbands than by an intruder
  2. Write stories showing guns misfiring or jamming at critical times
  3. Write stories showing people feeling less safe when their neighbors have guns
  4. Write stories showing people getting criminally prosecuted for brandishing a firearm
  5. Write stories showing a self-defense firearm use where the person is charged with murder because it’s determined that excessive or unjustified lethal force was used
  6. Write stories showing that having a gun in the home actually increases the likelihood of a home invasion

No, I’m not kidding.  And that isn’t all.  That’s only about one-third of the anti-gun agitprop given to Hollywood writers.  You can read them for yourself here.

Even Michael Bloomberg has gotten the memo and has now launched a new campaign aimed at stigmatizing guns and gun-owning men among young women.  (See point #8 above).  His latest campaign, titled “Singled Out,” seeks to drive young women to the gun control cause by disparaging men who own firearms, and he does so using the same misrepresentations and strawman arguments the entertainment industry is seeking to do.  As the NRA said, “Few things are as painfully uncool as a 73-year-old billionaire’s desperate attempts to be relevant.”

But this is nothing new.  In 1995, future U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder said that we must “brainwash” people (his word) against guns; that the media need to change the way that people think about guns.  He said that we must indoctrinate people into thinking that guns aren’t cool, that they’re not acceptable, and that we need to make guns evil in the minds of Americans like we have tobacco.  Holder asked the creative community to come up with solutions to demonize guns in the popular culture, in advertising, and the media.  He petitioned TV and radio to follow his script.  I think many have been doing a pretty good job of it.

Clinton/Bloomberg “Background Checks” Would Outlaw Shooting With Friends On Private Property

This is from Bearing Arms.

This is why it is important for gun owners to remain vigilant and vote.

The 2016 presidential election is just a year out, and it’s clear that the Democrat frontrunner (and FBI espionage investigation suspect) Hillary Clinton has decided to bizarrely focus on gun control and confiscation as one of her main campaign issues.

Unfortunately for Mrs. Clinton, the next 12 months will give Americans plenty of time to dissect the radical nature of what she is actually proposing, including the “universal background checks” scheme being pushed by the Mrs. Clinton, her billionaire ally Michael Bloomberg, and the various gun control groups that the latter funds.

Dave Kopel took a look at the difference between how the Clinton/Bloomberg campaign is marketing their background checks plan versus what it actually contains, and thescheme may shock you.

Here are two things that a person might do with a firearm: 1. Sell the firearm to a complete stranger in a parking lot. 2. Share the firearm with a friend, while target shooting on one’s own property. Michael Bloomberg’s “Everytown” lobby is promoting “universal background checks” as a means of addressing activity No. 1. But the Bloomberg laws also outlaw activity No. 2. In a previous post, I detailed how the unusual Bloomberg laws about “background checks” for “private sales” constrict safety training and self-defense; and also obstruct safe storage. This post addresses another non-sales activity, firearms sharing.

We know from Heller that “to bear arms implies something more than the mere keeping; it implies the learning to handle and use them in a way that makes those who keep them ready for their efficient use; … it implies the right to meet for voluntary discipline in arms, observing in doing so the laws of public order.” D.C. v. Heller, 554 U.S. 570, 617-18 (2008); see also United States v. Emerson, 270 F.3d 203, 236 (5th Cir. 2001) (both cases quoting Thomas Cooley’s 19th-century constitutional law treatise). Thus, “the right to possess firearms for protection implies a corresponding right to … maintain proficiency in their use; the core right wouldn’t mean much without the training and practice that make it effective.” Ezell v. City of Chicago, 651 F.3d 684, 704 (7th Cir. 2011). Just as the First Amendment includes the right to learn how to read and to practice reading skills, the Second Amendment includes the right to learn how to use arms and to practice. This includes formal classroom instruction and practice at established ranges. But the right is not limited only to those structured settings; as historically practiced in the United States, the right also includes instruction from, and practice with, friends and family in informal settings in private locations.

Even if there were no Second Amendment, any sensible firearms policy would encourage firearms practice and training to build and improve safe proficiency. Yet the Bloomberg system does the opposite.

One very common activity of gun owners is sharing their firearms on their own property. A person who owns 30 acres might have a small target range set up. He invites friends over for the afternoon, shoots at targets with rifles or handguns, and lets the friends use the family’s guns. Or a farm family might have a skeet or trap thrower, which flings clay disks into the air. Informal shooting events like this are at the heart of the American gun culture. They promote friendship, community and practice in the safe handling of firearms.

They are also criminalized by some versions of the Bloomberg laws. For example, the Bloomberg law enacted in Washington state in 2014 has no exemption for sharing a firearm on one’s property.

Sharing does not have to involve firing a gun. Inside the home, an owner might allow a visitor to handle his unloaded gun. Perhaps the visitor is interested in buying a new gun like the gun the owner owns. Or the visitor is just interested in guns. Perhaps the gun needs an adjustment that the visitor knows how to perform well, but the owner does not. Or the visitor might teach a new owner how to clean a gun. Under the new Washington law, sharing may take place at a corporate target range, but not on one’s property.

Instead, the owner and the friend are supposed to travel to a gun store to get permission, fill out all the paperwork as if the store were selling a firearm out of inventory, and pay various fees. Only then may the gun be loaned for a few minutes. When the friend is done with the gun, everyone must revisit the gun store and repeat the process, before the gun can be returned to its owner.

The federal version of the Bloomberg law, Sen. Charles Schumer’s Fix Gun Checks Act, does allow sharing a firearm within one’s own home or curtilage. (113th Cong., S.374, § 202(2)(C)). This takes care of letting a friend examine one’s new firearm. But if the gun owner brings his new gun to someone else’s house (because the friend has the gunsmithing or cleaning equipment, for example), it is a federal felony if the friend handles that gun for a few minutes.

Put bluntly, the claimed purpose of the Clinton/Bloomberg “background checks” is far more than a background check system, it is an attack on the part of the Second Amendment that liberals claim to value above all others, the “well-regulated” component.

Anyone with a decent grasp of the language knows that “well-regulated” means in proper working order, and for the militia (defined by the Founders as the people) to be in proper working order, they need to be able to train and become skilled with arms.

Far from that, this scheme is designed to make it illegal to train and use arms in the most common of American manners, with the obvious goal of undermining and infringing upon the use of firearms by law-abiding citizens.

Hillary Clinton has promised an all-out war on the right to bear arms.

It appears she’s very serious about it, consequences be damned.

This is from Breitbarts Big Government.

The quote below describes liberals and their push for gun control.

Gun Control will never work.

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.Albert Einstein, (attributed) US (German-born) physicist (1879 – 1955

New York City has Michael Bloomberg’s favorite gun control measure in place and is facing a crime epidemic that includes a “nearly” 20 percent increase in homicides.

When NYPD Officer Brian Moore was shot on May 2 with a stolen gun, Breitbart News reported that the strict gun controls in New York were no hindrance to criminals. Those controls–enacted in the January 2013 SAFE Act–include an “assault weapons” ban, a gun registration scheme, a “high capacity” magazine ban, and expanded background checks, among other things.

Although implemented by Governor Andrew Cuomo (D), parts of these controls read like Bloomberg-funded Everytown for Gun Safety Christmas wish list. Especially the expanded background checks, which Bloomberg-funded Moms Demand Action campaigned successfully to push in Washington State and which Everytown campaigned successfully to push in Oregon.

As for Bloomberg himself, On The Issues reported that he spent a portion of his second term as mayor suing gun dealers as a means to combat the actions of criminals in NYC:

Building on his first term, Bloomberg broadened his scope and once again thought big and bold. He sued out-of-state gun dealers, accusing them of illegally selling handguns that were later used to commit crimes in NYC. He did battle against weak federal gun laws, created a national coalition of mayors to fight illegal weapons -useful to raise awareness, although really effective gun control demands national legislation.

In August 2013, the New York Daily News reported that the desire for more gun control continued to characterize Bloomberg, as he registered his disgust with Senators who refused to pass gun control at the federal level and pledged to use his gun control groups to defeat said senators at the ballot box.

So, what has the non-stop push for gun control correlated with for the citizens of NYC? Currently, a spike in “violent crime”–reported by ABC News 7–and a near 20 percent increase in homicides. Yet Bloomberg’s gun control groups continue to tell politicians around the country that expanding background checks reduces crime.

This is from Breitbarts Sports.

This is the biggest load of crap I have read in a long time.

I used to say my favorite baseball teams are the Atlanta Braves, the Texas Rangers and who ever by the Yankees now I will add the Mets to the list.

On June 2 the New York Mets announced that the team stands with Michael Bloomberg and Piers Morgan in the “Wear Orange” gun control push.

Breitbart News previously reported that a host of celebrities, HBO, MTV, Motown Records, and numerous Democrat mayors vowed to wear orange on June 2 for the sake of promoting and declaring Gun Violence Awareness Day.

The celebrities include Perez Hilton, Julianne Moore, Melissa Joan Hart, and Michael Stipe.

The Washington Examiner cited Everytown for Gun Safety’s confirmation that the New York Mets has now added its name to the list of supporters. The players posed in orange shirts—one of the team’s colors—in a photo posted on Facebook.

Everytown said:

The New York Mets became the first pro sports franchise to join the campaign and will today release a photo of the entire team wearing orange in support of efforts to reduce gun violence. The team will also release a photo of the Mets’ front office staff wearing orange in support of the campaign.

While the Mets are donning orange in New York, a “Wear Orange Party for Peace” is being hosted by Mayor Rahm Emanuel (D) in Chicago, where gun control has correlated with a seemingly insurmountable wave of murder and mayhem.

Bloomberg Targets Coal Industry With $30 Million Donation To Sierra Club

This is from Deneen Borelli.

The United Mine Workers Union and its employees

endorsed and voted for Obama.

Now they are getting screwed by Obama as thanks for their blind support.

The progressive mob is driving the coal industry into bankruptcy.

President Obama is leading the charge by having the Environmental Protection Agency issue regulation after regulation targeting coal-fired power plants.

Now billionaire and former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is adding his significant financial weight in an effort to kill the coal industry. Bloomberg recently announced Bloomberg Philanthropies is donating $30 million to the Sierra Club’s anti-coal campaign.

Bloomberg’s latest donation adds to the $50 million he gave to the Sierra Club in 2011.

According to the Sierra Club, its Beyond Coal grassroots campaign is responsible for closing 187 coal-fired power plants in the U.S. and with its new funds, its goal is to shut down half of the remaining units by 2017.

The impact of the progressive mob’s anti-coal effort is causing massive transformation in the way electricity is generated. In 2014, 39 percent of electricity was from coal, down from 49 percent in 2007.

The drop in coal use has caused a loss of 50,000 jobs in the coal industry from 2008-2012, billions of dollars in losses in market capitalization of coal mining stocks and two bankruptcies.

In an interview with OneNewsNow, I commented on Bloomberg’s donation:

“Bloomberg is a typical progressive elite,” he says. “He’s using his fortune on a feel-good exercise while ignoring the consequences of his actions. The Sierra Club has a tremendous amount of money and is out to bankrupt the coal industry – and that’s going to have a devastating impact on the lives and livelihood of Americans.”

No industry can survive the combined assault of the progressive mob.

The 20 Most Annoying Liberals of 2014

This is from Town Hall.

All Liberals are annoying, but the list could not be published to include every Liberal.

Honorable Mentions: The ACLU, Joe Biden, Michael Bloomberg, The Freedom From Religion Foundation, Jesse Jackson, Ezra Klein, Sheila Jackson-Lee, Mike Malloy, Michelle Obama, Rosie O’Donnell, Chris Rock, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, Chuck Schumer, Joan Walsh, Elizabeth Warren, Shannon Watts, Sally Kohn

20) Wendy Davis: Liberals had such great hopes for Wendy Davis, but her abort ‘em-all-and-let-God-sort-‘em-out themed campaign didn’t turn out to have the appeal at the ballot box libs seemed to think it would in a conservative state like Texas.

Defining Tweet: “It is a bit embarrassing that Abortion Barbie doesn’t even have her facts straight on Kermit Gosnell considering abortion is her issue.” –Erick Erickson

19) Sandra Fluke: Despite her outstanding liberal track record of being a pretentious 30 year old student whose only “accomplishment” involved asking Congress to subsidize the staggering amount she apparently paid for her monthly birth control pill, Fluke was still rejected by California Democrats in her bid for the State Senate. Ha, ha, ha!

Defining Airheaded Tweet: “Horrified by #TortureReport & by how it mirrors domestic challenges of #sexualassault & violence against men of color by authority figures.” – Sandra Fluke

18) Russell Brand: According to his biography, Russell Brand actually IS the pampered, scatterbrained celebrity that he plays in Get Him to the Greek. However, like a lot of other film stars, he doesn’t just want to be thought of as a pampered, ex-heroin addict, so he blathers on about politics. In Brand’s case, it’s mostly barely comprehensible gibberish about revolution, rich people and tolerance – and probably crumpets or something since he’s British and no one can figure out what he’s trying to get at half the time.

Defining excerpt from an open letter: “Dear Russell,

Hi. I’m Jo. You may remember me. You may even have filmed me. On Friday, you staged a publicity stunt at an RBS office, inconveniencing a hundred or so people.

…One last thing, Russell. Who did you inconvenience on Friday? Let’s say that you’re right, and that the likes of Fred Goodwin need to pay. OK, so how much trouble do you think Fred faced last Friday as a result of your antics? Do you think any of his food got cold, Russell? Even just his tea? I somehow doubt it. How about some of the millionaire traders you despise so much (some of whom are nearly as rich as you, Russell)? Well, no, because you got the wrong f*cking building. (Might want to have a word with your researchers about that.) Which brings us back to where we came in: a bunch of admittedly fairly well paid but still quite ordinary working people, admin staff mostly, having their lives inconvenienced and, in at least one case, their lunches quite disastrously cooled, in order to accommodate the puerile self-aggrandizing antics of a prancing multimillionaire. If you had any self-awareness beyond agonizing over how often to straighten your f*cking chest-hair, you’d be ashamed.” – Jo from Northern Ireland

17) Andrew Cuomo: How much of a partisan dummy does a governor have to be to publicly tell people who disagree with him politically that they’re not welcome IN HIS STATE?

Defining Quote: “Are they these extreme conservatives who are right-to-life, pro-assault-weapon, anti-gay? Is that who they are? Because if that’s who they are and they’re the extreme conservatives, they have no place in the state of New York, because that’s not who New Yorkers are.” – Andrew Cuomo

16) John Kerry: He’s every bit as good of a Secretary of State as conservatives would expect a far left-winger from Massachusetts who smeared the men he fought with in Vietnam to be. Put another way, he’s about as good at the job as Hillary Clinton.

Defining Quote: “I get always a little uptight when I hear politicians say how exceptional (America is).” – John Kerry

15) Bill De Blasio: It shouldn’t be a surprise that a Marxist mayor who ran an anti-cop campaign would encourage potentially violent liberal protesters who hate the police, but it is surprising that the Mayor of New York told the whole world that he is afraid to have his son near them. No wonder the NYPD has turned its back on De Blasio.

Defining Quote: “It’s different for a white child. That’s just the reality in this country. And with Dante, very early on with my son, we said, look, if a police officer stops you, do everything he tells you to do, don’t move suddenly, don’t reach for your cell phone, because we knew, sadly, there’s a greater chance it might be misinterpreted if it was a young man of color.” – Bill De Blasio

14) MSNBC: It would be tempting to smack around Chris Matthews, Ed Schultz, Rachel Maddow or her more feminine counterpart Chris Hayes individually, but given how small the network is getting, do they deserve it anymore? It’s a little like taking a shot at an individual blogger at Daily Kos or Firedoglake at this point. You almost expect the whole network to be pulled off the air one day and replaced with reality TV. Could Honey Boo and Kardashian spin-offs do that much worse in the ratings than propaganda so bad it embarrasses people who considered “hope and change” to be a political platform?

Defining Quote: “In a way, MSNBC is conservatives’ best friend: We attempt to puncture the smug illusions that progressive media types have about themselves, but only MSNBC is really doing so.

And so MSNBC tells progressive reporters: This is what you really are. This is not what you wish to be, or what you pretend to be; this is what you really are, down deep, past the veneer of pretense and posturing. In your gut, you’re just low, crude, unthinking partisan animals.

13) Hillary Clinton: She spent most of the yeartouring the country on her broomstick, preparing for her run at the presidency which is based on herachievements, competence, ehr…the fact that she has female genitalia? Ever so often, Grandma Clinton grabbed a walker and hobbled to the podium to be completely baffled when she was asked about her qualifications or to spit out whoppers about how poor she is.

Defining Quote: “We pay ordinary income tax, unlike a lot of people who are truly well off, not to name names; and we’ve done it through dint of hard work.” –Hillary Clinton

12) Ta-Nehisi Coates/Toure/Melissa Harris Perry/Eric Dyson: On the one hand, you almost feel compelled to include professional race hustlers on a list like this. On the other hand, they tend to be boring, tedious hacks who seldom have anything to distinguish them from each other beyond how “creative” (and I use that word loosely) they are at coming up with different excuses to cry “racism.” So, we’ll just group them all together except for Al Sharpton, who deserves his own place on this list and probably in prison for tax evasion as well.

Defining Quote #1: “Barack Obama is the president of the United States of America. More specifically, Barack Obama is the president of a congenitally racist country, erected upon the plunder of life, liberty, labor, and land. This plunder has not been exclusive to black people.” — Ta-Nehisi Coates

Defining Quote #2: “Saying black and brown lives matter makes a big difference because when that language gets repeated by white tongues, white brains can follow suit, and white souls can at least be trained in a different way.” — Eric Dyson

11) The Affirmative Consent Wackos: The basic idea is supposed to be that if couples drink or don’t get formal consent during every step of the courtship process from a peck on the cheek to group sex, then the man can be accused of rape. This bizarro world BS seems like the sort of thing space aliens who’ve observed humans mating from afar would come up with to deal with rape. However, sadly there are idiots right here on earth who think it’s helpful to have colleges prosecuting innocent men for rape in kangaroo courts that nobody other than rabid left-wing mouth breathers will consider legitimate.

Defining Quote: “Under this law, an accusation is as good as evidence. Does every sexual encounter need to be recorded and documented just in case some time in the future one person decides to call it rape? Under these policies, yes.” –Ashe Schow

10) Luis Gutiérrez: It’s bizarre to hear an American member of congress who is very open about being primarily loyal to non-Americans,but Gutiérrez fits the bill.He wants amnesty, no borders, no immigration laws, just as many foreigners coming here as possible, for whatever they want, as long as they want and that hurts Americans; well, who cares about them anyway? Certainly not Luis Gutiérrez.

Defining Quote: “I have only one loyalty and that’s to the immigrant community.” — Luis Gutiérrez

9) Nancy Pelosi: She hasn’t been as vocal as usual this year since she polls about the same as Ebola, but she shows up every now and again to say something obnoxious, tell an obvious lie or just to menacingly cackle, “I’ll get you, my pretty, and your little dog, too!”

Defining Quote:

8) Rosemary Lehmberg: This Texas District Attorney is known for exactly two things: acting like a belligerent lunatic after being caught driving while drunk and being connected to a politically motivated indictment against Rick Perry for trying to have her removed from office over her ridiculous, drunken behavior.

Defining Video:

7) Eric Holder: He is a lying, incompetent, politically-motivated, race-baiting punk who runs the Department of Justice despite not being any more ethical than the criminals his department investigates. Holder is a disgrace to the DOJ.

Defining Quote: “There’s a certain level of vehemence, it seems to me, that’s directed at me [and] directed at the president. You know, people talking about taking their country back. … There’s a certain racial component to this for some people. I don’t think this is the thing that is a main driver, but for some there’s a racial animus.” – <href=”#ixzz37pak2no5″>Eric Holder

6) Harry Reid: Reid is like thecranky male farmer from the American Gothic painting come-to-life and when he wasn’t running the Senate like Benito Mussolini ran Italy, he obsessively spent every waking moment talking about the Koch brothers as if the fate of the entire nation hinged on it.

Defining Video: Watch Harry Reid mention the Koch brothers 134 times on the Senate floor.

5) The Ferguson / Eric Garner protesters: What ostensibly started as protests about the police being too quick to use deadly force has turned into rioting, looting, lawlessness, blocking traffic and calls for dead cops. It’s like the Occupy Movement, except with even more criminal behavior (which is saying something).

Defining Quote: “What do we want? Dead cops! When do we want it? Now!” —Day of Anger: Millions March

4) Jonathan Gruber: Maybe it’s not fair to include the “Father of Obamacare” for comments he made in 2013 that just came to light in 2014, but an arrogant jackass like Gruber deserves every bit of scorn and rebuke that can be heaped upon his lying head.

Defining Quote: “In terms of risk rated subsidies, if you had a law which said that healthy people are going to pay in, you made explicit healthy people pay in and sick people get money, it would not have passed. Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage. And basically, call it the stupidity of the American voter or whatever, but basically that was really, really critical to get for the thing to pass. Look, I wish Mark was right that we could make it all transparent, but I’d rather have this law than not.” – Jonathan Gruber

3) Al Sharpton: If you want to know why the Left is getting stomped into the ground right now, just consider the fact that an anti-white, anti-cop professional race hustler who owes 4 million in taxes has his own show on MSNBC, is the face of the sad excuse for what remains of the “civil rights movement” in America and is an influential informal advisor to the Obama White House.

Defining Quote: “In honor of all uniformed service personnel in America, say a prayer for Police Officers Liu and Ramos. #TurnYourBack on #PigSharpton” –James Woods

2) Lena Dunham: Before her book came out, most people just thought of her as the awful naked lady who starred in that vapid show that they didn’t watch. Since then, they’ve come to think of her as the awful naked lady who starred in that vapid show that they didn’t watch who falsely accused a Republican at her college of rape and was a little too sexually interested in her own sister.

Defining Quote: “Dunham writes of casually masturbating while in bed next to her younger sister, of bribing her with “three pieces of candy if I could kiss her on the lips for five seconds . . . anything a sexual predator might do to woo a small suburban girl I was trying.” – Kevin Williamson

1) Barack Obama: What can you really say about a habitually dishonest, thin-skinned, delusional, incompetent, narcissistic, power-mad, wannabe despot who could very fairly be called the worst President in American history? Oh, well, I guess that’s what you can say.

Defining Quote #1: “There have been periods where the folks who were already here suddenly say, ‘Well, I don’t want those folks,’ even though the only people who have the right to say that are some Native Americans.” – Barack Obama

Defining Quote #2: “I think the Prime Minister is the first to acknowledge that Malaysia’s still got some work to do. Just like the United States, by the way, has some work to do on these issues. Human Rights Watch probably has a list of things they think we should be doing as a government.” – Barack Obama×9&widgetId=2&trackingGroup=69017

Mayors Against Illegal Guns Mayor Charged with Bribery

This is from The Washington Free Beacon.

Corruption is running wild among Bloomberg’ cronies.

Bloomberg is not starting a grassroots effort he has a from the top down dictatorship.

Latest member of Bloomberg-backed group to have legal troubles

Monticello, New York, Democratic Mayor Gordon Jenkins—a member of Michael Bloomberg’s Mayors Against Illegal Guns—was arrested Thursday on bribery charges, the latest in a long string of legal and ethical foibles by Jenkins.

Mayors Against Illegal Guns is one of several Bloomberg-backed entities dedicated to limiting gun rights. Bloomberg has pledged to spend $50 million this year to build a “grassroots” network of activists supporting his cause, according to the New York Times. Jenkins is one of many members of Mayors Against Illegal Guns to partake in illegal activity.

Jenkins and Monticello Building Inspector James Snowden were arrested late last week, according the Daily Freeman. The charges included “bribe receiving” and “endangering the public health”; the mayor “was also charged with intimidating a witness, a felony, in connection with an incident in Fallsburg.”

This is not the first time the embattled mayor has gotten in trouble with the law since joining Bloomberg’s group. CBS New York reported in 2013 that he had been arrested for driving while intoxicated. Jenkins has come under fire in his hometown and was described as “not competent” by Monticello Village Manager Raymond Nargizian.

“These people are a serious part of the problem; they are not part of the solution,” Nargizian said of Jenkins and another Monticello official in comments given to the Mid Hudson News on Saturday. He also said Jenkins should step down.

Jenkins is one of a number of mayors to engage in illegal activities while serving as a member of Mayors Against Illegal Guns. As the Washington Free Beacon has previously reported:

Spring Valley, N.Y., Mayor Noramie Jasmin (D.) was arrested in April for allegedly accepting bribes from an FBI informant. In March, Gainesville, Fla., Mayor Craig Lowe was charged with a DUI after police found him asleep at the scene of a car accident.

Marcus Hook, Pa., Mayor James Schiliro was arrested for reckless endangerment after allegedly firing a handgun inside his home during a drunken argument with a 20-year-old man.

Other current and former MAIG members have been charged with felony corruptionassault of a police officer, and child sex crimes.

Colorado Governor to Sheriffs: Hey, Sorry About That New Gun Control Law

This is from Town Hall.

I think Gov.Hickenlooper can in his peripheral vision see the light of his future as Governor of Colorado growing dim.

I do not feel his “OOPISE I made a mistake will cut it with the Sheriffs’ of Colorado or the voters.

If he truly wants to repent, just get the law repealed.

Back in March 2013 (and after a massive cash dump from former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg), Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper signed new anti-gun legislation into law.

Colorado’s governor signed bills Wednesday that place new restrictions on firearms, signaling a change for Democrats who have traditionally shied away from gun control in a state with a pioneer tradition of gun ownership and self-reliance.

The legislation thrust Colorado into the national spotlight as a potential test of how far the country might be willing to go with new gun restrictions after the horror of mass killings at an Aurora movie theater and a Connecticut elementary school.

Democratic Gov. John Hickenlooper signed bills that require background checks for private and online gun sales and ban ammunition magazines that hold more than 15 rounds.

The debate in the Democratic-controlled Legislature was intense, and Republicans warned that voters would make Democrats pay. The bills failed to garner a single Republican vote.

In response to the legislation, a few months later Colorado State Senate President John Morse and State Senator Angela Giron were recalled in a historic defense of Second Amendment rights. Further, not only did Colorado sheriffs refuse to enforce the law, they sued over it.

Now, Hickenlooper is apologizing for signing the legislation without meeting with sheriffs beforehand and is admitting his office did not expect the backlash.

Governor John Hickenlooper is offering an apology to some of his fiercest rivals on the issue of gun control: Colorado’s sheriffs.

The governor’s mea culpa came Friday when he spoke before an assembled group of sheriffs from around Colorado.

A Hickenlooper spokesman confirms that the Governor apologized to the sheriffs for not meeting with them prior to the passage of gun control bills they opposed. Hickenlooper also said his administration didn’t do a good job anticipating pushback on gun control. According to his spokesman, Hickenlooper pledged better communication in the future.

Funny how apologies like this always tend to happen right around election time.
