Jon Voight Blasts President Obama: ‘America Has Not Been the Same Since His Presidency’ (Video)

This is from Yahoo News.

America is a shell of her former self she has turned her back on our Allies and embraced our enemies under the Obama Regime.

Obama is trying to destroy our only Allie in the Middle East, Israel by defeating Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Jon Voight is stepping into Israeli politics and blasting President Obama in the process.

In a video (below) posted on titled “Jon Voight’s Message to Israel,” the “Ray Donovan” actor voices his support for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who faces defeat in this week’s election.

“I love Israel. I want to see Israel survive and not be overtaken by the mad men of this world,” Voight says.

Israelis head to the polls on Mar. 17, and Netanyahu’s right-wing Likud party is facing a serious challenge. Polls show a coalition led by Isaac Herzog leading the Likud Party, and Voight believes President Obama is partly to blame.

“President Obama does not love Israel. His whole agenda is to control Israel,” the 76-year-old Republican says. “In this way, he can be friends with all of Israel’s enemies. He doesn’t want [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Bibi Netanyahu to win this upcoming election. America has not been the same since his presidency. I beg all of you to understand the truth.”

Voight has been a vocal critic of the Obama administration in the past, including at the 2012 Republican National Convention. “This country’s been downgraded for the last four years,” Voight warned at the time, rallying his audience by adding, “We have this little window of time to do something about it — to get it back on track.”

The “Midnight Cowboy” star and father to globe-trotting humanitarianAngelina Jolie endorsed Republican Mitt Romney, who went on the lose the election.

Voight, a legendary Hollywood actor, won a Golden Globe in 2014 for his role as Mickey Donovan in Showtime series “Ray Donovan.” He also received a Best Actor Oscar for his role in the 1978 film “Coming Home.”

Rev. Graham to Obama: Unlike Christ, Mohammed ‘Killed Many Innocent People’ – His ‘True Followers’ Emulate Him

This is from CNSNews.

It is refreshing to see a Christian Pastor calling Islam what it truly is a murdering cult of pedophiles.

In response to President Barack Obama drawing a parallel between the barbaric acts of the Islamic State today with actions by Christians during the Crusades, which ended 700 years ago, evangelist Franklin Graham said there was a difference between Jesus Christ who “taught peace “ and did “not take life” versus Mohammed, who “was a warrior and killed many innocent people.”

Reverend Graham further said that, “True followers of Christ emulate Christ – true followers of Mohammed emulate Mohammed.”

Screenshot of Franklin Graham’s Facebook post on Feb. 5, 2015.

President Obama made his remarks at the National Prayer Breakfast on Thursday in Washington, D.C.  He referenced the Islamist attacks on a school in Pakistan and in Paris – without using the words radical Islam – and he described the Islamic State, or ISIL, as “a brutal vicious death cult that, in the name of religion, carries out unspeakable acts of barbarism.”

Obama shortly thereafter said, “And lest we get on our high horse and think this is unique to some other place, remember that during the Crusades and the Inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ.  In our home country, slavery and Jim Crow all too often was justified in the name of Christ.”

Franklin Graham, who heads the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA), said on his Facebook page shortly after the president’s remarks, “Today at the National Prayer Breakfast, the President implied that what ISIS is doing is equivalent to what happened over 1,000 years ago during the Crusades and the Inquisition.”

“Mr. President–Many people in history have used the name of Jesus Christ to accomplish evil things for their own desires,” said Rev. Graham.  “But Jesus taught peace, love and forgiveness. He came to give His life for the sins of mankind, not to take life.”

“Mohammad on the contrary was a warrior and killed many innocent people,” said Rev. Graham.  “True followers of Christ emulate Christ—true followers of Mohammed emulate Mohammed.”

The Crusades, which occurred off and on from the 11th century to the 14th century, were the Christian attempt to push back Islamic expansion in the Middle East with the primary goal to make the holy places in and near Jerusalem accessible to Christians.

As Islamic expert Bernard Lewis reports, “The Crusade was a delayed response to the jihad, the holy war for Islam, and its purpose was to recover by war what had been lost by war—to free the holy places of Christendom and open them once again, without impediment, to Christian pilgrimage.”

Map showing extent of Islamic occupation of Holy Land, Middle East, and parts of North Africa and southern Europe prior to the first Christian Crusade in 1096-1099.

Further, Crusade scholar Thomas Madden at St. Louis University states that “all the Crusades met the criteria of just wars.”

As for the Inquisition, the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rightsreports that “the Catholic Church had almost nothing to do with it. The Church saw heretics as lost sheep who needed to be brought back into the fold. By contrast, secular authorities saw heresy as treason; anyone who questioned royal authority, or who challenged the idea that kingship was God-given, was guilty of a capital offense.”

“It was they—not the Church—who burned the heretics,” said Catholic League President Bill Donohue.  “Indeed, secular authorities blasted the Church for its weak role in the Inquisition.”

One of the leading authorities on the Inquisition, Henry Kamen, states that a total of 1,394 people were killed during the Inquisition. “Today, Muslim madmen kill more than that in a few months,” said Donohue.

Female Fighter Pilot Becomes First to Say: ‘Hey ISIS, You Were Bombed by a Woman, Have a Nice Day’

This is from the Independent Journal Review.

These women are shaking up things in the war on ISIS.

ISIS has a new enemy to fear in its desert rampage of horror and destruction it’s waging across the Middle East: a woman who is fighting back. Not just any woman, fighter pilot Maj. Mariam Al Mansouri of the United Arab Emirates.

The New York Daily News reported:

The first female pilot in the United Arab Emirates’ air force is reportedly taking part in the coalition air strikes against ISIS militants hiding in Syria.

Maj. Mariam Al Mansouri, 35, is a squadron commander piloting an F-16 Block 60 fighter jet likely among those dropping munitions this week in coordinated attacks against Islamic State strongholds near Raqqa, Aleppo and Idlib.

The infamous terror group has been committing despicable acts against women who have been rendered defenseless: including stonings, rapes, and murders. It’s about time more women joined the fray against an adversary who is a threat to their very existence, in addition to that of helpless children.

The New York Daily News reported that Al Mansouri set her sights on becoming a fighter pilot and the UAE granted her desire to achieve that goal.

“It was my aspiration,” she told the National of the UAE in an interview. “Ever since I finished high school, I wanted to learn flying because it was something that I liked in the first place.”

She also told The National. “A woman’s passion about something will lead her to achieving what she aspires and that’s why she should pursue her interests.”

The UAE has trained other female fighter pilots like al Mansouri to join the fight against ISIS. Along with the Kurdish women fighters, that is more than enough to give ISIS terrorists nightmares that when they go to heaven to meet their 72 virgins – they’ll be armed to the teeth.

Brave women like Al Mansouri are an inspiration for women across the Middle East who should be more than fed up with the oppression of extremist and terror groups like ISIS.

If she is looking for a greeting card to strap onto one of her bombs, this one just might do the trick:

Dem Rep: 40 American ISIL Fighters Have Already Returned to the United States

This is from The Washington Free Beacon.

Instead of just watching these 40 terrorists I say round them up and put them in Gitmo with their terrorist comrades.

These individuals under surveillance, ‘being tracked’ by the FBI.

Rep. Tim Bishop (D., N.Y.) warned during a recent speech that up to 40 radicalized U.S. citizens who have fought alongside the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL or ISIS) have already returned to the United States, where they could pose a terrorist threat.

Bishop claims that of the 100 or so Americans who have traveled to the Middle East to join ISIL’s ranks, some 40 have returned and are currently being surveilled by the FBI, according to his remarks, which were filmed and uploaded to YouTube last week.

“One of the concerns is the number of U.S. citizens who have left our country to go join up with ISIS,” Bishop said during the speech. “It is believed there have been some number up to 100 that have done that.”

“It is also believed that some 40 of those who left this country to join up with ISIS have now returned to our country,” Bishop said, eliciting shocked responses from some in the crowd.

These 40 individuals, Bishop said, “are under FBI attention and surveillance. So they are known and being tracked by the FBI.”

Lawmakers have warned that radicalized ISIL fighters could clandestinely enter the United States through the porous southern border.

U.S. officials with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and other security agencies have said that while the southern border poses a risk, they are more concerned about lone wolf attacks in which an isolated radicalized individual with sympathy to ISIL carries out a solo terror attack.

Bishop said that while ISIL poses and extreme threat, it is not yet capable of attacking the United States, though that could change as the group grows in strength and resources.

“It is a very, very complex and very, very dangerous threat and I think the plan that the president outlined the other night [in his national speech] is a good plan,” Bishop maintained.

President Obama “is correct to recognize the threat, and it clearly is a threat to the stability of the Middle East, a region that is already remarkably unstable,” Bishop said.

“It is not yet a threat to the homeland, but there is a concern that it could metastasize in such a way that it could become a threat to the homeland,” Bishop said, echoing concerns expressed by lawmakers on both sides of the isle.

“But at the present time, the intelligence is ISIS does not present a threat to the homeland, although that is not something that will remain static going out into the future,” Bishop said, describing the regional upheaval as “more of a political conflict in the Arab world then a sectarian conflict” between Muslims.

DHS has said that while there is no evidence of a direct threat by ISIL to the United States, it is aware that the group’s affiliates have been discussing the possibility of crossing the southern border.

“There have been Twitter, social media exchanges among ISIL adherents across the globe speaking about that as a possibility,” Francis Taylor, under secretary for intelligence and analysis at DHS, told senators during a recent hearing.

Other U.S. officials also have discussed the possibility of an ISIL adherent carrying out an attack on the United States.

“We remain mindful of the possibility that an ISIL-sympathizer—perhaps motivated by online propaganda—could conduct a limited, self-directed attack here at home with no warning,” Matthew Olsen, director of the U.S. National Counterterrorism Center, said in a speech earlier this month.

“We have seen ISIL use a range of media to tout its military capabilities, executions of captured soldiers, and consecutive battlefield victories,” Olsen said. “More recently, the group’s supporters have sustained this momentum on social media by encouraging attacks in the U.S. and against U.S. interests in retaliation for our airstrikes. ISIL has used this propaganda campaign to draw foreign fighters to the group, including many from Western countries.”

I Am An Islamophobe Because I Am A Realist — Not Because I Am A Racist

This is from Personal Liberty Digest.

It is scary how many people are afraid to see or speak the truth about Islam.

If speaking the truth about Islam makes me Islamophobic I proudly wear that title.

I grow furious as ever more apologists speak to the popular media to proclaim that the Islamic State (aka ISIS or ISIL) is an evil group but is in no way a reflection of the loving, peaceful religion that is Islam. It is time to wake up to the truth that Islam is both a religion and a dangerous ideology bent on world domination.

Not so, said the current president and his two predecessors:

  • In 1994, Bill Clinton said: “[Americans know] the traditional values of Islam, devotion to faith and good works, to family and society, are in harmony with the best of American ideals.”
  • In 2002, George W. Bush said: “Here in the United States our Muslim citizens are making many contributions in business, science and law, medicine and education, and in other fields… [they are] upholding our nation’s ideals of liberty and justice in a world at peace.” And he said: “[Islam] inspires countless individuals to lead lives of honesty, integrity, and morality.”
  • In 2009, Barack Obama said: “Islam has always been a part of America’s story… and since our founding, American Muslims have enriched the United States.” He also said: “Islam has demonstrated through words and deeds the possibilities of religious tolerance and racial equality.”

The truth is, Mr. Bush, we can do a head count of Muslims who live with honesty, integrity and morality. And through polling we can also approximate how many Muslims around the world are driven to lie, deceive and even murder infidels (in other words, us).

Last month, Personal Liberty reported:

According to the results of a recent poll, support for the terror group is likely on the rise throughout the Western world. The poll, conducted on behalf of the Russian news agency Rossiya Segodnya by ICM, found that among people in Great Britain, France and Germany 2 percent say they have a favorable view of Islamic State and 7 percent say they have a somewhat favorable view of the group. In France, which has a large Muslim population, 16 percent of those surveyed say they support ISIS; among people age 18-24 in the country the number jumps to 27 percent.

In a report about the poll, Vox’s Max Fisher wrote:

This is alarming, in part because a growing number of Europeans, often from predominantly Muslim immigrant communities, are not just expressing their support for ISIS in polls: they are traveling to Syria and Iraq to join up. The ISIS fighter who killed American journalist James Foley on video last week spoke with a strong London accent. European governments are rightly worried about the implications of this for their own national security.

It is time for our leaders to wake up to the fact that there is a large segment of Islam that is a threat to our national security and that, therefore, it is time to stop pandering to this so-called “religion of peace.”

After all, ISIS may be a small band of bloodthirsty murderers, but they are just one radical group that falls under the religious roof taught in mosques around the world. And as these groups kill and maim their way across the Middle East with ambitions against Americans, few Muslims will openly criticize their religious brethren. In fact, tens of millions of Muslims are in favor of killing infidels and dream of a future where Sharia law rules the world.

Yet our government seems to feel if we apologize enough, give in enough and are humble enough, Muslims will suddenly act like Buddhists and make friends with us Jews and Christians. Even the Washington neocons — the very ones who constantly proclaim that British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain was the seed that grew to become Adolf Hitler — cannot appease Muslims fast enough or thoroughly enough. I have bad news for these sheep in wolf’s clothing: ISIS is not a few bad apples that turned to terror. ISIS is part and parcel of Islam, an ideology more than a religion, and ISIS is casting a very dark shadow on freedom and liberty.

It seems to me the entire leadership in the West either wants to pacify Islam or is afraid to speak the truth. But avoiding the truth and the true goals of so many millions will not make this threat go away. America has to identify who the real enemy is. That means accepting that both the perpetrators of 9/11 and the terrorists who recently beheaded American journalists are indoctrinated by one religion, and it sure as heck isn’t Mormonism.

I Was ‘Caught Red-Handed’ By Two Mormons

Last year, I was walking home with a bottle of Merlot tucked under my arm, and I came across two young men dressed smartly in dark suits, wearing crisp white shirts and conservative neckties. Clearly, the two were on a mission for the Mormon Church. In high school and college, I had a lot of Mormon and Jewish friends and was even invited to their homes for dinner on occasion. I have to admit that I liked the Jewish faith best because they wouldn’t let me join and I often feel as Groucho Marx once said, “I wouldn’t want to join any club that would have me as a member.”

But I always enjoyed my Mormon friends — at least when it came to playing basketball, since there was no drinking beer together on Friday nights.

I talked to these two polite young men who did seem to care about my salvation, and we had a fun exchange. I told them I thought I was a bit too far gone, but would give them time to make their pitch if I had equal rebuttal time. We had a chuckle and went on our way.

I don’t get that warm and fuzzy feeling when I pass Muslims, which I do quite frequently in the city where I live. Maybe it is just me being silly; but, then again, dozens of jihadists from Calgary have left Canada and gone to join ISIS. In fact two Calgary brothers, Collin and Gregory Gordon, who two years ago lived a couple of miles from my home, were killed last month in Syria fighting for ISIS.

The National Post reported: “Collin Gordon was once an accomplished volleyball player, a sports fanatic and music enthusiast. His Twitter posts painted a picture of a fun-loving but thoughtful young man who loved basketball, electronic music and weekends.”

Last month, following the video broadcast beheading of American journalist James Foley, Collin Gordon tweeted, “10/10. The video of James Foley losing his neck is the perfection of ‘Terrorism.’”

Now I am going to jump to a conclusion: The two young Mormon men I met the other day are not going to go out and murder and celebrate beheadings because of something written in The Book of Mormon. I make the same prediction for Jews and Christians and their holy texts.

I can already hear the few bad apples retort from the progressives reading this. What I want to know is why those apples are showing up only in Islamic barrels.

Liberals Ignore Their Hypocrisy When It Comes To Islam

My wife and I have a daughter-in-law who is Lebanese and who has been shunned by the traditional Muslim elements of her family for committing the sin of falling in love with our American infidel son. Another of our children lived and worked in the Middle East. I was afraid to say too much about Islam in case they would suffer the consequences.

I have learned that in the Middle East, the bosom of Islam (that peace-loving religion), all you have to do is wear a crucifix around your neck to be arrested. And God help you if you are a woman because Allah sure as hell won’t help you. As a woman, you cannot in many Mideast countries be on the street without a male relative, you cannot drive a car or ride a bicycle, and you damn well better have enough clothes on or the roaming bands of religious police will put you under arrest. If you happen to be gay, that’s a death sentence.

Still, the bleeding-heart liberals lecture us on how we should not judge Islam. I’ve got news for you liberals, if we don’t deal with Islam now, they will deal with us the way the Nazis dealt with the Jews. Of course, you could always call-up the ACLU; but if Sharia law ever takes hold, there will be no ACLU.

I like to think I am fearless when it comes to writing what I believe, but even I am afraid to write too strongly about what I really think of Islam — not because somebody will hurt me. To hell with that, come and get me. But I fear repercussions on my publisher and my family. But frankly, as I am on the downside to 60, I don’t like to have to watch every word that I write in the off chance of retribution.

As for you progressives, I expect lots of messages. Yuck it up now. You have that right. But if Islam ever achieves its global goal of world domination, free speech will be something your children and grandchildren will not have; and you will have contributed to that end.

Yours in good times and bad,

–John Myers

See Why This Quick & Amazingly Simple Explanation Of What’s Going On In Gaza Is Making Big Waves

This is from Independent Journal Review.

Dennis Prager gives the best explanation of the Middle East situation, I have ever heard.

Radio talk show host Dennis Prager recently released a YouTube video in which he attempts to explain the Israeli-Arab conflict. In under six minutes.

The conservative Prager, who did graduate work at the Middle East Institute at Columbia University, says that while many believe “the Middle East conflict is the most complex conflict in the world,” it is also “the easiest conflict in the world to explain.”

While Prager calls the conflict “simple,” he explains that it is difficult to solve for one fundamental reason: Most Arabs, including many Palestinians, “do not recognize the right of the Jewish state of Israel to exist.”

Prager’s assertion that “one side wants the other one dead” may be a bit strong, but the Hamas charter isn’t too far off:

“Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it.”

So again, does that mean the Palestinians and other Arabs want all Israelis “dead”? Of course not, but it’s hard to envision Israel being “obliterated” without a tremendous loss of life.

The PLO – Palestinian Liberation Organization – recognized Israel as a state in 1993, although Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas says the Palestinians will never recognize Israel as a Jewish state.

Various Muslim countries – Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Jordan, for example – have also recognized Israel’s right to exist. Others – Pakistan and Iran among them – have not. Throw in Hamas, al Qaeda and The Islamic State (formerly ISIS or ISIL), who are committed to Israel’s destruction, and the ever-present danger the Israelis face is clear.

Cease-fires between Israel and Hamas (along with Hezbollah) come and go, but what doesn’t go is the ultimate objective of the terrorists and their sponsors: the destruction of a country roughly the size of New Jersey. A country of 5 million Jews surrounded by 500 million Arabs, many of whom share Hamas’ goal.

As Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin puts it, “If the Arabs put down their weapons today, there would be no more ‎violence. If the Jews put ‎down their weapons ‎today, there would be no more Israel.”

Rep. DeLauro: Tax Every Teaspoon of Sugar

This is from CNSNews.

The Middle East is in flame and we have tens of thousands of illegals are flooding over our southern borders.

This Dippycrap wants to tax sugar..

( -Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-Conn.) introduced this week the Sugar-Sweetened Beverages Tax (SWEET Act), which aims to institute a tax of one cent per teaspoon – 4.2 grams – of sugar, high fructose corn syrup or caloric sweetener.

The measure (HB 5279), introduced Wednesday says, “A 20-ounce bottle of soda contains about 16 teaspoons of sugars. Yet, the American Heart Association recommends that Americans consume no more than six to nine teaspoons of sugar per day.”

Even though the manufacturers’ of the sweet drinks are targeted to pay the tax, the text of the bill itself notes that the goal is to reduce public consumption through a price increase.

“This Act is intended to discourage excessive consumption of sugar-sweetened beverages by increasing the price of these products and by creating a dedicated revenue source for programs and research designed to reduce the human and economic costs of diabetes, obesity, dental caries, and other diet-related health conditions in priority populations,” the measure says.

DeLauro had earlier discussed the proposal while she was crafting it.

During a video presentation for The National Soda Summit in June DeLauro said, “It is long past time that we pass and support policies that work to our better health instead. With that in mind I’m working on legislation right now to tax sugar-sweetened drinks, like sodas, in a way that reflects the serious damage they are doing to our health.”

Caruba: The Palestinians Real Enemies

This is from AmmoLand.

The only enemies of the Palestinians are their Arab brothers.

In spite of what the lame stream media says the Israelis have not or have they ever oppressed Palestinians.

Palestinians are prospering side by side with the Israelis because they decide to live and work with the Jews.

All of the rest of the Palestinians will not accept the Jews right to have a right to a home state.

As they do not want to have a home state so they can play martyrs and soak as my countries for money.

Free Arabs Jewish State

Free Arabs Jewish State

New Jersey –-( As the crisis in Ukraine unfolded, President Obama met with Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel while John Kerry, the Secretary of State, continued to flog Obama’s push to get Israel to grant the Palestinians a state of their own.

At their meeting Netanyahu was far more concerned with Obama’s failure to stop Iran from making its own nuclear weapons.

He repeated that Israel will do whatever it must to protect itself.

Within days, the Israeli Navy intercepted a ship. the Klos-C, that contained rockets with a range up to 160 kilometers. It had left Iran loaded with 181 M-302 rockets intended for use by Hamas, the terrorists who control the Gaza. It also had 400,000 rounds of 7.62 ammunition.

Does anyone think that either Iran or the Palestinians want anything less than Israel’s destruction?

At some point, interest in the Middle East will reassert itself because, while Obama has been in office, it has become an increasing threat to ours and the world’s concern as a hotbed of Islamic fanaticism. Other than Israel, Jordan, and some Gulf states, the U.S. has few allies there.

What is rarely, if ever, reported in the mainstream media, the Palestinians have refused to engage in any serious discussions that would lead to the establishment of their own state since the founding of Israel in 1948.

They have preferred their “refugee” status that, at 66 years, makes them the oldest such group in the world. Since 1949 the United Nations has an entire agency, the U.N. Relief and Works Agency, that has been devoted to maintaining the camps in which many live.

Recently, in the spring edition of the Middle East Quarterly, Efraim Karsh had an extraordinary review of how their Arab “brothers” in Arab states have treated the so-called Palestinians. It’s worth recalling that “Palestine” was the name the Roman Emperor Hadrian used to try to replace “Israel”, but there never was such a nation. Karsh’s article was titled “The Palestinian’s Real Enemies” as it looked back over the years since Israel reemerged as a nation.

“For most of the twentieth century, inter-Arab politics,” writes Karsh, “were dominated by the doctrine of pan-Arabism, postulating the existence of ‘a single nation bound by the common ties of language, religion and history…behind the façade of a multiplicity of sovereign states;’ and no single issue dominated this doctrine more than the ‘Palestine question’ with anti-Zionism forming the main common denominator of pan-Arab solidarity and its most effective rallying cry…nothing has done more to expose the hollowness of pan-Arabism than its most celebrated cause.”

The Arabs distrust each other more than they are distrusted by the rest of the world. Arab states in the Middle East and in northern Africa are more united by the threat of being taken over by the Islamic fascists of al Qaeda and comparable groups. Both Egypt and the Saudis have banned the Muslim Brotherhood. Ironic, eh?

In his quest to become the caliph of those states, Emir Faisal ibn Hussein of Mecca, the hero of the “Great Arab Revolt” against the Ottoman Empire, together with his father and older brother Abdullah, placed Palestine on the pan-Arab agenda by falsely claiming that those living in what was regarded as southern Syria, had been promised a nation of their own, but in 1919 he signed an agreement with Chaim Weizman, the Zionist leader, supporting the 1917 Balfour Declaration on the establishment of a Jewish national homeland in Palestine. In 1920, he declared himself the king of Syria. After the French removed him, he laid claim to be Iraq’s ruler, a position he held until his death in 1933.

Over the decades “the Arab states continued to manipulate the Palestinian national cause to their own ends. Neither Egypt nor Jordan allowed Palestinian self-determination in the parts of Palestine they occupied during the 1948 war.” In April 1950, the territory now called the West Bank was formally annexed by the Hashemite kingdom of Jordan.

Hafez Assad who had seized control of Syria, controlling it from 1970 until his death in 2000, described Palestine in 1974 as “a basic part of southern Syria” but said that the Palestine Liberation Organization, appointed by the Arab League in October 1974 was “the sole legitimate representative of the Palestinian people” so long as it did not deviate from the destruction of Israel. It never did, nor has the Palestinian Authority that replaced it.

No matter where Palestinians lived throughout the Middle East, they were endlessly harassed by Arab nations.

“As a result, the vast majority of Palestinians have remained stateless refugees with more than half living in abject poverty in twelve squalid and overcrowded camps.”

In one Arab nation after another, other than Jordan, they have been refused citizenship and barred from professions and other rights, but even Jordan drove them out when they attempted to seize control in 1970. They fled to Lebanon where they encountered a similar fate, but led by Hezbollah they have gained control there.

“Not only have the host Arab states marginalized and abused their Palestinian guests, but they have not shrunk from massacring them on a grand scale whenever this suited their needs.”

In the current Syrian civil war, “thousands of Palestinians have been killed…and tens of thousands have fled the country.”

So who are the enemies of the Palestinians? It is not the Israelis who have spent more than six decades trying to come to some arrangement with them to achieve peace and end their daily attacks.

As Obama and Kerry continue to threaten Israel with reprisals if they don’t make peace with a people who have never demonstrated any desire for anything other than Israel’s destruction, the isolation of the Palestinians is likely to continue for a very long time to come. It was imposed by the Arab states. If those states formally recognize Israel it could end, but that prospect is nowhere in sight.

The current U.S. policy toward Israel and the Palestinians ignores history. Their Arab “brothers” regard the Palestinians as a threat to their state’s sovereignty and events in Jordan, Lebanon, and elsewhere confirm that view.

Twenty three good terrorist there is a need for more teachers like this moron.

Maybe the teacher took lessons from Achmed The Dead Terrorist.

It’s well known that the greatest tribute a student can give a teacher is for the student to learn so much that their roles reverse. Unfortunately for a group of student Sunni Militants who were killed while attending suicide bombing training class at a camp north of Baghdad, they won’t get the chance to make that transformation.

On Monday, 22 class attendees were obliterated by their teacher/commander who unwittingly detonated his army belt laden with explosives, according to Iraqi army and police officials. Up to fifteen additional terrorists were wounded in the explosion.

The militants belonged to a group known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), which is fighting the army of the Iraqi government composed mostly of Shiites. They have been connected to bomb attacks throughout Iraq and other areas in the Middle East, and are known for inflaming sectarian violence throughout the region.

One Iraqi Army officer seemed to be pleased with the explosive incident that sent the almost two dozen militants to an early grave (or to a meeting with 72 dark-eyed virgins in paradise, depending on your point of view). The officer commented that the commander, who was conducting the training class, was a successful recruiter of suicide bombers who was “able to kill the bad guys for once.”

An official said that ISIS had about 2,000 fighters in Iraq, and that its long term plan is to create a base of operations in Baghdad, led by Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. The U.S. State Department has officially designated Baghdadi as a global terrorist.

POW-MIA sign

The city of Huntington Beach, Calif., is ordering a bar to remove a sign honoring its most frequent clientele – veterans returning from the Middle East.

Johnny’s Booze and Pool’s message, a fixture for 10 years, proclaims to all passersby, “Thank a veteran for your freedom!”

“I love this place. The sign gives me the pride back that I lost,” an Army veteran told CBS2 Los Angeles. “I struggled a lot when I first came back.”

But after 10 years, someone complained, prompting the city to order the sign’s removal.

“We received a letter in the mail from the city stating that we have to remove it within two days or they were going to fine us, like, $940,” co-owner John Marovic said.

CBS2 reported:

Huntington Beach Mayor Pro-Tem Matthew Harper says he has contacted the city manager about the issue and is waiting for an answer. Harper says he would support granting a variance to allow the sign to remain standing.

The issue has some of the sign’s supporters scratching their heads.

“I can understand city ordinances, but it’s been up there for 10 years,” customer-veteran Tarah Crawford told the station. “I don’t understand why it’s a problem
