Al Sharpton Named In Huge Discrimination Lawsuit

I would enjoy seeing  Al “The Race Baiter” Sharpton broken disgraced and out of action.

Sadly, I see this piece of scum dodging the bullet.

Even as an undercover investigation revealed some fierce criticism by some of the people he ostensibly used his celebrity status to defend, Al Sharpton sustained another blow to his already controversial reputation.

Reports indicate the National Association of African-American Owned Media, an advocacy group interested in promoting black ownership of media outlets, recently filed a $20 billion lawsuit against Comcast and Time Warner Cable just as the two companies are prepared to combine to create an industry-leading corporation. In its court documents, the group alleges both cable providers conspired to relegate networks owned by blacks.

The companies “collectively spend approximately $25 billion annually for the licensing of pay-television channels and advertising of their products and services,” the suit states, “yet 100% African American-owned media receives less than $3 million per year.”

Among the accusations contained in the lawsuit is a direct indictment against MSNBC host Sharpton. The longtime civil rights activist allegedly accepted a nearly $4 million donation from Comcast through his National Action Network, which the suit suggests was paid to secure his support for deals including the company’s acquisition of NBCUniversal.

As purported evidence of the arrangement, the suit cites Sharpton’s ratings.

“Despite the notoriously low rating that Sharpton’s show generates,” the plaintiffs wrote, “Comcast has allowed Sharpton to maintain his hosting position for more than three years in exchange for Sharpton’s continued public support for Comcast on issues of diversity.”

For their part, both Sharpton and Comcast have responded to the development by insisting they are committed to fostering diversity in the media industry.

“We currently carry more than 100 networks geared toward diverse audiences,” a Comcast spokesperson stated, “including multiple networks owned or controlled by minorities.”

The source called the allegations included in the lawsuit “scurrilous” and Sharpton’s NAN referred to the claim as “frivolous.”

Calls for ‘Michael Brown Law’ Follow Grand Jury Decision

This is from CNSNews.

For the sake of argument lets say this Micheal Brown law passes and the police have body cameras then what.

The next black thug that gets shot and the video shows the officer was justified in killing this thug.

Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson and the other race baiters will swear the video was altered to prove the story the shooting was justified.

So what will the race baiters demand next no bullets in the officer’s weapons or no weapons at all?.

( – Michael Brown’s family will “pursue all the legal avenues,” including legislation named after their son, attorney Benjamin Crump told CBS’s “Face the Nation” on Sunday.

Crump said the proposed “Michael Brown law” would require all police officers to wear video cameras that record every move they make:

“The family will pursue all the legal avenues, potential civil wrongful death lawsuit, as well as look at pushing forward with proposed legislation for (a) Michael Brown law — working with the National Bar Association, NAACP, National Action Network, and others to have it where it is required that every police officer in every American city is required to have video body cameras, so it will be transparent; we won’t see this play out over and over again, whether it’s in New York or Louisiana or Texas.”

Crump also called for changes in the legal system:

“We see young people of color, especially young black and brown boys, being killed at the hands of the people to protect and serve them, and they are never held accountable, largely due to this process, this grand jury process that needs to be indicted. It’s broken. It continues to yield the same results over and over again where they kill our children and they are never held accountable.

“We have to change that entire process to have a special prosecutor appointed,” Crump said.

Crump complained that Officer Darren Wilson was never cross-examined during the grand jury proceeding, which is intended to help prosecutors decide if they have enough evidence to bring a case to trial.

“And so it further builds the mistrust that many in the African- American communities all across America have with this process and the local law enforcement and court officials,” Crump said.

The grand jury proceedings are secret to protect witnesses and reputations.

If the grand jury had indicted Officer Wilson, the case most likely would have gone to trial. Crump said that would have been preferable, even if a trial resulted in Officer Wilson’s acquittal:

“People can accept that morewhen you havetrial by jury, where it’s all transparent, where all the evidence and the witnesses are cross-examined and vetted.

“People think that is fair. People think that is impartial. But when you have this secret grand jury proceeding, where there is only one lawyer in the room and that lawyer is a local prosecutor who has a symbiotic relationship with the local police department and the local police officer and has no relationship or no regard for this young person of color, and then you see the results all the time coming out where there’s exonerated, they’re cleared, it’s swept under the rug, and we’re told to just go on and get over it, where we can’t continue just to go ahead and get over it, because these are our children that are being killed.

“The statistics are alarming,” Crump continued. “Young black men between ages of 15 and 19 are said to be likely to be killed by the police 21 percent more than anybody else. And they are stopped three times by police more than anybody else.

“We have to get police officers who are not cold as ice like the shooter of Michael Brown, but police officers who care about trying to have a relationship with the community, not seeing the citizens of low-income communities or minority communities as demons, as criminals, but as citizens that we all have to be together, in that we’re all in the same boat and we have a vested interest.”

While Crump complained that Wilson was “cold as ice,” police say Michael Brown was a thug. He had just committed a strong-arm robbery at a nearby convenience store — a crime captured on videotape — and he was walking in the middle of the street when Officer Wilson encountered him and his companion.

Wilson testified that Brown trapped him in his cruiser, hit him multiple times, and grabbed for his gun.

Al Sharpton supports local Mayor recount but against Allen West recount though both in St. Lucie County

This is from The Right

Al “The race hustler”Sharpton will never support a black Republican.

Allen West has not been nor never will be on the DemocRat plantation.

If more blacks followed Allen West’s example Sharpton would not have a job.

Sharpton and Jackson would not have any so-called victims to exploit.

What denomination does Sharpton and Jackson represent?

Hypocrite and Democrat hack Al Sharpton cites the fact that Murphy’s lead over West is “way outside the margin to justify a recount” and therefore he is against a recount in a race that is “unworthy of a recount”. But West is only .08 percentage points away from having a mandatory recount. That’s not even 1 percentage point and isn’t “way outside the margin”.

But in a local mayoral race where the votes are within .05 points thus forcing a mandatory recount, Sharpton makes clear he supports that recount. Oh I should note that after the early votes were recounted, the progressive candidate is down 61 votes and that’s when Sharpton decided to voice his support.

Note that both of the races are in St. Lucie County with the same canvassing board and the same Supervisor of Elections “Gertrude Walker”.

New York, NY (November 14, 2012)—Reverend Al Sharpton, President of National Action Network (NAN) and host of PoliticsNation on MSNBC, says he is supporting NAN’s St. Lucie, Florida, Chapter in calling for integrity in the local elections and a recount in the Mayor’s race, but opposes a recount in the Allen West/Patrick Murphy race.

According to Rev. Sharpton: “We want to see the integrity of the election process upheld on a local level but we unilaterally oppose a recount in the national race. Clearly, Representative-Elect Murphy’s lead over Congressman Allen West is way outside the margin to justify a recount. NAN supports the local chapter led by Rev. William Richardson, III and others in calling for a full recount in the local St. Lucie County Mayor’s race as we have spent months calling attention to irregularities and suppression in Florida. However, the local legitimacy of voter protection should not be overshadowed by a national race unworthy of a recount.”
