Republicans Have Been Itching To Unload On The Clintons. Donald Trump Just Did

To correct the folks at NPR the last time a Republican candidate took the fight to the DemocRats was Ronald Reagan.

Now we have Donald Trump like Ronald Reagan is taking the fight to Hillary Clinton and the DemocRats.

Few things make Republicans more upset than the Clintons. And after weeks of missteps, Donald Trump gave them something to cheer about.

Bloomberg Says He Won’t Run For President And ‘Risk’ Electing Trump Or Cruz

This is from NPR.

This announcement has made Hillary and Bernie very happy.

Yet it makes them sad because when Hillary or Bernie net the nomination and lose, they will not have Nanny Bloomberg to blame.

American gun owners win also.

Former three-term mayor of New York City Michael Bloomberg said Monday he will not run for president, after months of speculation that he would jump in as in independent during a campaign in which it seems anything could happen.

In a column on his opinion site Bloomberg View, he said looking at the data made it “clear to me that if I entered the race, I could not win.” He added that he feared his running could split votes enough to give Donald Trump or Ted Cruz an advantage.

Bloomberg writes that he believes he could have won a number of states but that ultimately the race could come down to three people in the general election, none of whom would get enough electoral votes to win the presidency. That would put the onus on the Republican-controlled Congress and, as Bloomberg writes, “out of the hands of the American people.”

“As the race stands now, with Republicans in charge of both Houses, there is a good chance that my candidacy could lead to the election of Donald Trump or Senator Ted Cruz,” he said. “That is not a risk I can take in good conscience.”

Bloomberg wrote a searing critique of Trump, saying he has “run the most divisive and demagogic presidential campaign I can remember, preying on people’s prejudices and fears.” In particular, he hit Trump’s call to ban Muslims from entering the country, and called Sen. Cruz’s “pandering on immigration … no less extreme” than Trump’s.

Bloomberg said he had given “serious consideration” to running. The New York Timesreported that he had “quietly laid groundwork” for a campaign including a network of “several dozen strategists and staff members,” and had conducted polling and even produced TV ads and set up campaign offices.

He said the decision not to run comes despite the fact that he has “always been drawn to impossible challenges.”

“All of us have an obligation as voters to stand up on behalf of ideas and principles that, as Lincoln said, represent ‘the last best hope of Earth,'” he continued. “I hope and pray I’m doing that.”

College plays the race card, literally, in anti-whiteness play called ‘The Race Card Project’

This is from The Daily Caller.

Parents with children in college you need to check into

what is being taught in their children’s colleges.

Hillsdale College is one of the best at giving students a

well-rounded education without the leftist agenda.

A public university hosted a theater productions in which actors lamented their whiteness, whined about “all white spaces” in American society and claimed that striving for color blindness is tantamount to racism.

That university is the University of Oregon, which hosted an adaptation of “The Race Card Project,” last semester, according to Campus Reform.

The production is based off the work of former NPR host Michele Norris, who runs a website that encourages people to play their own personal race card by coining a six-word sentence about their experiences with race and posting it on her blog.

“How would you distill your thoughts, experiences or observations about race into one sentence that only has six words?” reads Norris’s website.

At UO’s production, student-actors were given considerably more than six words.

“I’m never asked about hot sauce,” revealed one of the students, an Asian woman — an apparent indication that society is explicitly racist.

Another performer, a white male, details how he once held the view that since he never chose to be white, he was not responsible for the actions of other people. Thankfully, a university education set him straight.

“I’m learning,” he said. “Being white in America comes with this legacy all its own, and while I may not know why I am white, I know that I can help change that legacy.”

Some of the participants managed to express more mature views on race — that it shouldn’t matter, that it is a shoddy way to define someone, and also, that it will be a “total non-issue when the aliens arrive.”

Norris’s website also contains some enlightened commentary on race, albeit in six-word nuggets. “Put your color aside; think bigger,” urged one, written by Karen Schneider, also of the University of Oregon.

The Daily Caller’s “race card” was submitted to Norris’s website but has not yet been published. The DC wrote, “People: Individuals, not racially predetermined automatons.”

Obama Halts Therapy Dogs for Kids at Nat’l Institutes of Health

This is from Mr.Conservative.

Just when you think Barack Milhous Capone Kardashian can not get any lower.

He proves that he is loner than whale shit on the bottom of the Mariana Trench.

There is a special place in Hell reserved for Barack Milhous Capone Kardashian.

Under President Obama’s shut down, the National Institutes for Health (NIH) have put and end to the therapy dogs visiting sick kids claiming a lack of money to continue.

NPR reports: “They can only come once a week, but it’s the highlight of Sam’s week,” mother of patient Sam Whetzel said. But this week, she says, her son Sam got some bad news. “They came and stopped in, and told Sam that the therapy dog wouldn’t be coming because of the government shutdown.”

Kids love the weekly visits of the therapy dogs

“He was disappointed,” Whetzel says. “He really looks forward to the dogs coming. He has a special fondness for the little dogs that can come and just sit on his bed and lie down and curl up with him.”

Further, the NIH is not enrolling new patients in its studies or clinical trials until the shut down ends. This prevents about 200 people a week from getting possible life-saving treatments.

NIH Director Francis Collins decried the shut down.

The clinical center is often called the ‘House of Hope,’ and the ‘House of Hope’ had to close its doors to new patients because that’s what a shutdown does. How would you feel, as a parent of a child with cancer, hoping that somehow NIH and its clinical center might provide some rescue from a very difficult situation, to hear that, frankly, you can’t come, because the government wasn’t able to stay open?

As William Bigelow reports, in 2011, 23 of the top 28 highest paid federal employees were officials at the National Institutes of Health; all made over $290,000 per year.

Antonin Scalia says gun control is heading to Supreme Court

This is from The Washington Examiner.

I agree with Justice Scalia there will be several case before the high court.

Justice Scalia has been softening Justice Kagan up by taking her hunting.

If that fails send her hunting with Dick Cheney.

Conservative Justice Antonin Scalia, decrying America‘s demonization of guns, is predicting that the parade of new gun control laws, cheered on by President Obama, will hit the Supreme Court soon, possibly settling for ever the types of weapons that can be owned.

Scalia, whose legacy decision in the 2008 case of District of Columbia vs. Heller ended the ban on handguns in Washington, D.C., suggested that the Constitution allows limits on what Americans can own, but the only example he offered was a shoulder-launched rocket that would bring down jets.

And the wily judge suggested to an audience of Smithsonian Associates at George Washington University’s Lisner Auditorium Tuesday night that he is not just preparing for a new gun control challenge, but that he’s softening up one of his liberal colleague on guns.

The long-time duck hunter revealed that he’s taken Obama appointee Elena Kagan hunting several times, the last being for big game in Wyoming where she shot a whitetail doe. “She dropped that doe with one shot,” he said during an event that featured questions from NPR’s court reporter Nina Totenberg.

Scalia detailed his life-long experience with guns and said it started while in high school when he was on a military academy’s rifle team. Scalia said he would bring his gun to school on the subway in New York and often competed with West Point cadets.

Back then, he said, Americans didn’t go nuts when they saw a gun. “It was no big deal. Carrying a gun was no big deal,” he said. Today is a different story, he lamented. “It’s very sad the attitude of the public at large on guns has changed so much that they associate it with nothing but crime.”

Scalia explained why he wrote Heller, but wouldn’t discuss current gun control limits in Congress and the states. “There are doubtless cases on the way up,” he said, adding that limits on what weapons can be owned will likely be part of any new decision. “There are doubtless limits, but what they are we will see.”

An inconvenient truth: More polar bears alive today than 40 years ago

This is from The Daily Caller.

It seems the real truth wins of Al Gore’s Inconvenient Truth.

I want  like to hear Toady Gore try to explain the polar bear population increase.

You know Toady Gore would spin the facts to cover his lies.

Author Zac Unger was originally drawn to the arctic circle to write a “mournful elegy” about how global warming was decimating the polar bear populations. He was surprised to find that the polar bears were not in such dire straits after all.

“There are far more polar bears alive today than there were 40 years ago,” Unger told NPR in an interview about his new book, “Never Look a Polar Bear in The Eye.” “There are about 25,000 polar bears alive today worldwide. In 1973, there was a global hunting ban. So once hunting was dramatically reduced, the population exploded.”

“This is not to say that global warming is not real or is not a problem for the polar bears,” Unger added. “But polar bear populations are large, and the truth is that we can’t look at it as a monolithic population that is all going one way or another.”

According to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, there are an estimated 20,000 to 25,000 polar bears worldwide, living in Canada, Greenland, the northern Russian coast, islands of the Norwegian coast, and the northwest Alaskan coast.

Polar bears became a focal point for environmentalists after former Vice President Al Gore featured them in his 2006 global warming documentary, “An Inconvenient Truth.” The bears were classified as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act to in May 2008 because their habitat was being threatened by global warming.

Unger wanted to write the definitive book on how man-made global warming was destroying polar bear habitats and leading to their extinction. He packed up his family and moved north to Churchill, Manitoba — called the ”Polar Bear Capital of the World” because of the large amounts of bears that congregate near it in the autumn.

“My humble plan was to become a hero of the environmental movement,” Unger told NPR. “I was going to go up to the Canadian Arctic, I was going to write this mournful elegy for the polar bears, at which point I’d be hailed as the next coming of John Muir and borne aloft on the shoulders of my environmental compatriots.”

“So when I got up there, I started realizing polar bears were not in as bad a shape as the conventional wisdom had led me to believe, which was actually very heartening, but didn’t fit well with the book I’d been planning to write,” he added.

In the U.S. the bears are protected from hunting by non-Alaska Natives — who can hunt some polar bears for tribal needs. There are also special importation rules for polar bears and polar bear parts and products.

Polar bears are also protected by international conservation agreements between the U.S. and other countries, such as the Russian Federation.

A federal court recently threw out a federal government plan to protect polar bears and designate a 187,000-square mile area of Alaska — larger than the state of California — as a critical habitat for polar bears. The court ruled that the plan went too far, and that the government needed to correct “substantive and procedural deficiencies.”

Real, Successful CEO Slams Obamacare–Take Note!

This is from the Last Resistance.

These are words of wisdom from a successful CEO.

One would think the CEO of whole foods would be a raging liberal.

After all Whole Foods is a supplier of food for the tree  huggers.

There’s an eerie perception in this country, on the part of Liberals, that government is the ultimate benefactor; the final word on what is good and right. We all know about this peculiar world-view, but it bears reminding. On the flip-side, those who are in actual positions of success, such as CEOs, and real businessmen, are demonized and regarded as evil, greedy people who have no interest beyond their own.

In an NPR interview, the CEO of Whole Foods, John Mackey, said this of Obamacare: “Socialism is where the government owns the means of production. In fascism, the government doesn’t own the means of production, but they do control it—and that’s what’s happening with our health care programs and these reforms…We no longer have free enterprise capitalism in health care. It’s not a system any longer where people are able to innovate. It’s not based on voluntary exchange. The government is directing it so we need a new word for it, I don’t know what that right word is.”

It’s one thing when a Conservative business or businessman slams Obama, but when you have a supplier of healthy, organic foods–who’s corporation you’d expect to be on the Liberal side of the aisle, honestly–makes a derisive comment; it sticks in the mind.

Whole Foods is an extraordinarily successful chain with extremely modest beginnings. From there, it grew into a model of business success. Whole Foods employs thousands of people, and it’s success depends on many factors; with healthcare costs nearing the top of the list.

John Mackey, and CEO’s like him, are the beginning and the end of our economy. His opinion of Obamacare reflects not only the opinion of many business owners, but basic economic truth. This President has presided over one of the biggest economic interventions in history and it is stifling business, which is killing our economy. It is simple, obvious, and powerfully clear.

Instead of dismissing or demonizing businessmen, we should be looking to them for guidance in a troubled economy. When the President acts in direct opposition to the advise of successful people; and directly against the best interest of the American people, it may be time to consider dismissing the President. Impeachment? Maybe; maybe not. Just a thought.

Sesame Street Muppet Pitches Government Dependence: Free Food at School

The article below is from CNSNews.

I have always said NPR is the left’s version of Joesph Goebbels.

NPR brainwashes and indoctrinates young skulls full of mush aka children.

It is time for Big Bird and Elmo to pay the way to Sesame Street.

It is time for taxpayer funding to stop for NPR.

CNSNews.com) – A “food insecureMuppet is helping to promote a national “Food for Thought” campaign that teaches poor families to seek out nutritious food and to eat on the taxpayers’ tab.
At the National Press Club on Thursday, Lily the Muppet – who worries about her family not having enough money to feed her properly — pitched free food at school:
“Sometimes we can’t always afford to buy all the food that we need,” Lily said. “I mean, but we’ve been finding lots of ways that we can get help…Yeah, for example, at school I get a free breakfast and a lunch…part of the meal plan.
Lily’s message is being circulated through schools, hospitals and food assistance programs as part of Sesame Street’s “Food for Thought” multi-media campaign, which includes DVDs and a booklet listing “services that can assist your family” as well as “referrals to social service agencies.”
Organizers say they have produced a million of the kits.
At the National Press Club on Thursday, the Rev. Douglas Greenaway of the National WIC (Women, Infants and Children) Association lauded Sesame Street’s ‘Food For Thought’ campaign – even linking it to federal deficit-reduction.
“What ‘Food For Thought’ does is remind people that eating healthy now gives them a good health outcome in the long term. So the folks you’re looking at up here, the programs that they represent, what ‘Food For Thought’ does is really a deficit reduction strategy, and we hope policymakers will take notice of that,” Greenaway said.
Greenaway didn’t elaborate further on how this would work towards deficit reduction.
The Food for Thought Web site urges people to “feel good about food.”
“It is not easy to make healthy food choices when options are limited,” the Web site says. “But eating a healthy breakfast and snacking on fruits and vegetables are small changes you can make together as a family. Taking time to plan your meals before you shop and cook will help you stretch your dollar and serve healthy meals.”
Officials with Sesame Street say reaction to Lily and the Food for Thought program have been so strong they are looking to expand her message.
Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit educational organization behind the TV show, announced on Thursday that it plans to appoint a Poverty Advisory Board in 2012. The first meeting will be in Washington on Jan. 10.
