Stephen Hawking Boycotting Company Working on his Cure

This is from The Jewish Express.

This proves you can have a high IQ and still be stupid.

I think the correct term for Stephen is useful idiot.

What could the Palestinians offer him a suicide vest

so he could bomb Israel?

Israel’s BrainStorm Cell Therapeutics has invented a process that completely reverses ALS, but, sadly, Prof. Hawking, now shuns Israeli science.

Professor Stephen Hawking now supports the academic boycott of Israel, because of Israel’s treatment of Palestinians, the Guardian reported Wednesday, and to show it, he pulled out of the conference that will be hosted in June by Israeli president Shimon Peres in Jerusalem..

Hawking, 71, “the guy who invented time,” as the Big Bang Theory character Penny calls him, is a mega-famous theoretical physicist and the Lucasian Professor of Mathematics at Cambridge University. He had initially accepted an invitation to speak at the fifth annual president’s “Facing Tomorrow” conference (possibly the last one, too, since the next president might not be up to it).

Hawking is in very poor health, according to the Guardian. He suffers from a motor neuron disease related to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS – also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease), a condition that has progressed over the years. He is almost entirely paralyzed and communicates through a speech generating device.

Last week, the author of “A Brief History of Time” wrote President Peres a brief letter ignoring a good 50% of History, saying he had changed his mind and won’t appear at the much touted conference.

A statement published with Hawking’s approval by the British Committee for the Universities of Palestine, said the reason for the insult to Peres and to Israel is “his independent decision to respect the boycott, based upon his knowledge of Palestine, and on the unanimous advice of his own academic contacts there.”

The Guardian reports that in the four weeks since Hawking’s participation in the Jerusalem event was announced, the great man has been “bombarded with messages from Britain and abroad as part of an intense campaign by boycott supporters trying to persuade him to change his mind.”

It worked. Finally Hawking broke down, and told friends he decided “to follow the advice of Palestinian colleagues who unanimously agreed that he should not attend.”

Here’s the catch: almost a year ago, The Jewish Press ran a story about Israeli scientific advancements in the use of stem cells to treat a variety of serious and debilitating illnesses, resulting in the miraculous recovery of the dean of the Mir yeshiva, Rabbi Refael Shmuelevich, from ALS.

A clinical trial of ALS patients conducted by Israel’s BrainStorm Cell Therapeutics shows their therapy, NurOwn, is safe and well-tolerated by patients, and not only capable of halting the progress of the illness, but can actually reverse the course of the disease, improving the breathing, muscle strength, and speech capabilities of sufferers with nerve damage in the brain and spine.

At the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, Rabbi Shmuelevitz was given just 2-4 years to live, until he succumbed to the most severe form of the neuromuscular diseases. Soon his speech became difficult to understand, and he was confined to a wheelchair.

But just one month after beginning an experimental treatment spearheaded at Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem, Rabbi Shmuelevitz was back on his feet, teaching again at the 7,000-student yeshiva, as he has done for the last 30 years. His recovery was not only touted as a miracle and a joy for the students of the Mir yeshiva, but is being called the first ever recovery from ALS.

The Mayo Clinic is participating in clinical trials of the BrainStorm drug.

It’s possible that next time Professor Hawking comes to Jerusalem, it would be to receive treatment rather than to rebuke the local scientific community.

Except, as a Jewish Press manager commented online: Maybe Hawking just prefers the innovations and gifts the Palestinians have brought to the world… big bangs.

Hawking has visited Israel four times, most recently, in 2006, when he said he was “looking forward to coming out to Israel and the Palestinian territories and excited about meeting both Israeli and Palestinian scientists.”

But as of now, it’s down to just Palestinian scientists.

Both of them.

Israeli Presidential Conference Chairman Israel Maimon responded to Hawking’s announcement saying that his decision was unjustifiable and wrong:

“The academic boycott against Israel is in our view outrageous and improper, certainly for someone for whom the spirit of liberty lies at the basis of his human and academic mission. Israel is a democracy in which all individuals are free to express their opinions, whatever they may be. The imposition of a boycott is incompatible with open, democratic dialogue.”

Arafat’s body to be exhumed on Tuesday in murder inquiry

This is from Reuters.

Who cares how this evil bastard died?

Arafat was an evil sadistic animal.

(Reuters) – The body of the Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat will be exhumed on Tuesday, eight years after his death, in an investigation to establish if he was murdered, a Palestinian official said on Saturday.

A French court opened a murder inquiry in August into Arafat’s death in Paris after a Swiss institute said it had discovered high levels of radioactive polonium on his clothing, which was supplied by his widow, Suha.

Tawfiq al-Tirawi, in charge of the Palestinian committee overseeing the investigation, told reporters in Ramallah on Saturday “it is a painful necessity” to exhume the body of Arafat, who came to symbolize the Palestinian quest for statehood throughout decades of war and peace with Israel.

Tirawi said the Palestinians had “evidence which suggests Arafat was assassinated by Israelis”. Israel denies any involvement.

The exhumation and renewed allegations of Israeli involvement could stir further tension between the Palestinians and Israel, which are observing a truce after a week of fierce fighting in Gaza.

Any positive results for polonium could rekindle Palestinian hostility toward Israel and suspicions that a local collaborator may have poisoned him under directions from the Jewish state.

Allegations of foul play have long surrounded Arafat’s demise. He died in a Paris hospital in November 2004, a month after being flown, seriously ill, from his headquarters in the West Bank town of Ramallah.

French doctors who treated him in his final days said they could not establish the cause of death, and no autopsy was performed in deference to his widow’s request at the time, when Arafat died at 75.

Eight years is considered a limit to detect any traces of the deadly radioactive substance, according to the Swiss Institute of Radiation Physics.

Tirawi said Arafat’s body would be exhumed from its limestone mausoleum in Ramallah, away from the public or media presence, and separate samples will be taken by the French and Swiss forensic teams, as well as a Russian team of experts, who the Palestinians invited to help with the examination.

After the investigation “the body of leader Abu Ammar will be returned (reburied) in a military ceremony that is befitting him as a leader of the Palestinian people“, Tirawi said, using Arafat’s non de guerre.

Tirawi said results could take up to several months to be announced.

This Situation’s Misunderstood – And The Media’s Not Helping Things

This is from CNSNews.

The media will  always try to show Israel the aggressor.

In truth Hamas is the aggressor.

Israel is constantly under attack by Hamas from Gaza.

But the media does not portray it that way.

If you’ve never been to Israel it’s hard to imagine just how small it is. It’s just a sliver of land about the size of New Jersey bordered on one side by the Mediterranean Sea and on the other sides by enemies. It’s like living with a pack of wolves surrounding your house just waiting for an open door or window to jump through and tear out your throat.

Yet this tiny nation beset from within by extremely different political persuasions and from without by rocket attacks, suicide bombers and armies of Islamic zealots is criticized and ostracized by the nations of the world and the target of millenniums-old vendettas and a dishonest, hostile world media stands proudly fertile, progressive and strong, as an example of what could be accomplished by their neighbors if they could only put their hate and swords away and concentrate on the welfare of their state and it’s people.

We hear so much about a Palestinian homeland and Israel’s enemies try to make it appear that the Israelis are the only things standing in the way. The truth of the matter is that there are thousands of square miles of unused land in the Middle East for a Palestinian homeland, but the sad truth is that nobody wants them, not their Arabic brothers and sisters or the Persians who use them for suicide bombers and cannon fodder.

The problem is that the only homeland the Palestinians want is the one that God deeded to the children of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob forever. It was not a lease, but a gift sealed by the promise of the Creator, and anyone else who lays claim to the land is an interloper and does so at the displeasure of Jehovah who told Abraham that anyone who cursed him would be cursed by God.

If you watch the networks in the U.S. or the BBC or CNN International around the world, they will try to convince you that Israel is the instigator, on the offensive, firing missiles into populated areas and schools in the Gaza Strip. They’ll show you pictures of a bloody child and bombed out houses in an effort to convince you that Israel is the aggressor, even if some of the photos being passed off as Palestinian casualties are from recent Syrian internal violence.

They basically ignore the bloody children and bomb-damaged buildings on the Israeli side of the border and omit the fact that rockets had been raining down on Israel for months before they began a major retaliation.

To put the situation into perspective, imagine that somebody in the adjacent county was lobbing rockets into your backyard and your children’s schoolyard. Just how many of these attacks would you tolerate before you started shooting back to protect your family?

In a nutshell that’s what’s happening in Israel, and what has been happening and nobody in the world has the right to prevent them from protecting themselves.

The rockets from the Gaza Strip fall indiscriminately with no warning and no regard for innocent life. The Israelis drop leaflets warning the civilians in Gaza to vacate areas where they are going to bomb and passionately try to protect innocents and prevent collateral damage while the other side neither tries nor cares.

There’s a lot about the state of Israel people don’t realize. For instance, there is an immense Arab population living and working with the Jews, and the most holy place in Israel, the Temple Mount, has a mosque and a shrine to Mohammed on top.

Jerusalem is truly an international city and practically every major religion known to man has a presence there.

The Jews supply water, electricity, food and medicine in the Gaza Strip and just want to live in peace with their neighbors.

I can’t figure the anti-Semitic tilt in most of the world’s media, but it’s there and evident in editorial policies. So, when you digest news about Israel, do so with several large grains of salt and remember: there will be wars and rumors of wars.  Jerusalem will be surrounded by armies and the military might of the world will gather in the Jezreel Valley below Har Megiddo. And, though the world may stand against it, there will be Israel; that’s a fact.

It’s in the book.

What do you think?

Pray for our troops, our country and for the peace of Jerusalem.

God Bless America

Media: Targeting Jews Is A-OK!

This is from Clash Daily.

I think Joseph Goebbels is working in the lame stream media.

We are blessed to have the new media.

The truth will always come to light.

When new in the media and you want to belong.
Just blame the Jews and you can’t go wrong.

And so it continues … the Mainstream Media (MSM) ignores the targeting of innocent Israeli men, women and children by the terror group posing as a political party with a “military’“ wing. The Muslim terror group Hamas (the child of the Muslim Brotherhood) has upped their rocket barrage upon Jewish civilians, now targeting and reaching Jerusalem … for the first time in two decades. But sadly, some things never change … the MSM intentionally ignores the terror attacks upon Israelis and instead … focuses and reports solely upon Israel’s defensive reaction to the attacks.

If not for alternative media outlets … all the world would believe that a big, bad Israel was picking on poor little innocent “Palestinians“. That’s the only conclusion that can be drawn from the lopsided MSM coverage.

Now, I’m not a conspiratorialist, but … there is a conversation going on…

The MSM appears to work in almost a concerted effort to hide the truth about what actually happens in Israel concerning the daily, yes that’s right DAILY, terror attacks and murder attempts upon Israelis. And instead focuses upon the IDF’s defensive acts, which are extremely circumspect concerning collateral damage. They telephone civilians and drop leaflets … all to warn “Palestinian” civilians about their intended operation.

When you falsely report that Israel is firing upon Gaza…and that “Palestinians” were killed … not specifying that those killed were terrorists responsible for targeting and killing innocent Jews, you are giving the impression to your listeners/readers that Israelis are murdering innocent “Palestinians” and therefore an attack upon them is no big whoop.

Or: Targeting Jews is A-OK!

Is the MSM aware of this? Um … Yuppers!

If they had a single cell of integrity in their bodies, they would cease and desist. But I guess we’ll see that when Porky takes wing…

Does this make them as bad as terrorists? Well, they work as an unofficial PR firm for the terrorists, which aids and abets terrorist activities and they defend terrorist actions upon innocent Jews, by perpetuating falsehoods. I think we have a WINNER!!

So the next time you hear a report about an Israeli attack … without a doubt, you can be sure: They are NOT the terrorists, but rather they are defending the innocent … Jews and Arabs … from terror.

Shalom through strength…

Miraculous Recovery by Injured Gaza Man?

This is from Israeli International News.

It seems the media Antisemitism is showing.

The media is way to will to accept the fact Palestinians are victims.

The media is willing to say the Israelis are murdering brutes.

When the exact opposite is true Israel is not the problem.

Barely one day into the fighting in Hamas-run Gaza, the locals are hard at work playing the victim for the world’s press.

Footage from the BBC captured by watchdog group Honest Reporting shows a heavy man lying on the ground and being carried away by residents, apparently after being injured by an Israeli attack.

Moments later, that same man again fills the frame, except he is walking about and obviously unhurt.

The widespread staging of such victim situations is a favored tactic of Arabs fighting Israel and has come to be known as “Pallywood.” Because Israel is stronger militarily, the Arabs cling to the underdog image of poor refugees under occupation and siege by evil Israelis, thus eliciting sympathy.

Video: Mitt Romney lambastes 2-state solution

This is from The Jerusalem Post.

Mitt is correct in what he said about the Palestinians.

They have absolutely zero interest in living in Peace.

There only goal is to eradicate the state of Israel.

US Republican presidential candidate says Palestinians “have no interest whatsoever in establishing peace.

US Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney questioned the feasibility of the establishment of a Palestinian state in the West Bank in video footage published on Tuesday by US magazine Mother Jones.

“The idea of pushing on the Israelis to give something up to get the Palestinians to act is the worst idea in the world,” Romney said.

“I’m torn by two perspectives in this regard,” he said at a $50,000-per-plate fund-raising dinner in Boca Raton, Florida, on May 17. “One is the one which I’ve had for some time, which is that the Palestinians have no interest whatsoever in establishing peace, and that the pathway to peace is almost unthinkable to accomplish.”

Romney then launched into a hypothetical scenario in which Israelis allow the Palestinians to establish a state in the West Bank and are then forced to contend with unsolvable security and border issues.

It is “maybe seven miles from Tel Aviv to what would be the West Bank,” he said, repeating an oft-cited Israeli security concern that an Arab army in the West Bank could cut Israel in half in a matter of minutes.

“And now how about the airport?” he asked.

Romney said that the Palestinians would demand full control over their borders, and suggested they could open access to military armaments.

“And of course the Iranians would want to do through the West Bank exactly what they did through Lebanon, what they did near Gaza. Which is that the Iranians would want to bring missiles and armament into the West Bank and potentially threaten Israel.”

Concluding that the Palestinians remain “committed to the destruction and elimination of Israel,” the US presidential candidate endorsed a strategy of maintaining the status quo. “You move things along the best way you can,” he said.

“You hope for some degree of stability, but you recognize that this is going to remain an unsolved problem.”

Palestinians rejected Romney’s stance, with chief negotiator Saeb Erekat telling Reuters, “No one stands to gain more from peace with Israel than Palestinians and no one stands to lose more in the absence of peace than Palestinians.

Only those who want to maintain the Israeli occupation will claim the Palestinians are not interested in peace.”

Turning to Iran, Romney cautioned against allowing the Islamic Republic to obtain a nuclear weapons capability.

Romney imagined Iran giving Hezbollah “a little fissile material,” ordering the proxy to take it to Chicago, and then blackmailing the US over foreign policy issues. “We really don’t have any option but to keep Iran from having a nuclear weapon,” he said.

Romney on Tuesday was in damage control from another video clip released on Monday, which showed him describing US President Barack Obama’s supporters as unwilling to take responsibility for their lives.

“There are 47 percent [of US voters] who are with him [Obama], who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them,” Romney is heard saying on the video.

He also said the 47 percent do not pay income taxes, and “my job is not to worry about those people.”

The former private equity executive held a Monday night news conference in California to try to contain the damage, but did not back away from the remarks about Obama supporters, which have drawn sharp criticism from Obama’s camp and even some Republican allies.

“It’s not elegantly stated, let me put it that way,” Romney said. “I’m speaking off the cuff in response to a question.”

Israeli court rejects killed US activist’s family’s civil lawsuit

This is from Fox News.

This little twit got killed for people that would not have helped her.

The Palestinians would have killed her a quickly as they killed Jews in Israel.

I am sorry of the pain her family is suffering.

But her getting killed was do to getting stuck on stupid.

You walk in front of a bulldozer, tank or moving train you will die.

JERUSALEM –  An Israeli court on Monday rejected a lawsuit brought against the military by the parents of a U.S. activist crushed to death in 2003 by an army bulldozer as she tried to block its path in the Gaza Strip, ruling the army was not at fault for her death.

The bulldozer driver has said he didn’t see 23-year-old Rachel Corrie, a pro-Palestinian activist who opposed the military’s demolition of Palestinian homes. The military deemed her March 2003 death to be accidental, but Corrie’s parents were not satisfied by the army investigation and filed a civil lawsuit two years later.

Explaining the district court’s ruling, judge Oded Gershon said Corrie “put herself in a dangerous situation” and called her death “the result of an accident she brought upon herself.” He said the military conducted a proper investigation, and rejected the Corrie family‘s request for a symbolic $1 in damages and legal expenses.

Corrie’s parents, Craig and Cindy Corrie, did not speak immediately after the verdict, but clasped each other’s hands.

Their lawyer, Hussein Abu Hussein, lamented the court’s ruling, saying “the verdict blames the victim.”

“While not surprising, this verdict is yet another example of where impunity has prevailed over accountability and fairness,” he said. “Rachel Corrie was killed while non-violently protesting home demolitions and injustice in Gaza, and today, this court has given its stamp of approval to flawed and illegal practices that failed to protect civilian life.”

The home demolitions were part of an unsuccessful campaign to halt hundreds of shooting and mortar attacks against soldiers and Jewish settlers in southern Gaza, along the border with Egypt. On the day Rachel Corrie died, she and other activists had entered a closed military zone to protest the demolition policy.

According to the U.N. agency handling Palestinian refugees, the military had left more than 17,000 Gazans homeless in the four years after a Palestinian uprising against Israel erupted in September 2000. The demolitions drew international condemnation at the time.

Gingrich: Palestinians Are An ‘Invented’ People

The article and video below are from Alex Jones’ InfoWars.com.
Newt is correct in what he is saying about the Palestinians being made up.
The Palestine Liberation Organization was started by Egypt in 1964.
Until Israel became a state Palestinian applied to Jew’s and Arab’s.
Then in the 1970’s it was only applied to the Arabs
My source is a eBook by Christians United For Israel.

In an interview with Steven Weiss of The Jewish Channel following the Republican Jewish Coalition forum earlier this week Newt Gingrich said the Palestinians are an “invented people.”
“I believe that the Jewish people have the right to have a state, and I believe that the commitments that were made at a time.  Remember there was no Palestine as a state. It was part of the Ottoman Empire. And I think that we’ve had an invented Palestinian people, who are in fact Arabs, and were historically part of the Arab community. And they had a chance to go many places. And for a variety of political reasons we have sustained this war against Israel now since the 1940′s, and I think it’s tragic.”
Gingrich also aligned himself with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s approach to foreign policy.
“I see myself as in many ways being pretty close to Bibi Netanyahu in thinking about the dangers of the world. I believe in a tough-minded realism. I believe that if somebody is firing rockets at you, they are probably not engaged in the peace process. I believe if somebody goes around and says you don’t have a right to exist, they’re probably not prepared to negotiate for peace,” he said. “I think if someone says they wanna wipe you out, you should believe them. So I see a much more tougher-minded, and much more honest approach to the Middle East in a Gingrich administration.”
Ben Smith at Politico notes that casting the legitimacy of the Palestinian state into question Gingrich, should he get the nomination, sets “a sharply confrontational tone toward the Arab world.”
The Washington Post’s Karen Tumulty says that as a crazy as this may sound it’s a stance that will strongly appeal to the evangelicals.
