Death Penalty Opponents, Have I Got a Deal For You!

This is from Town Hall.

Liberals piss and moan about the death penalty yet they have zero problem with murdering innocent babies.

Their priorities are majorly screwed up.

Actually the liberals do not really care about the death penalty the libs  to raise their self-importance by showing they care.

As described in last week’s column, The New York Times and other sanctimonious news outlets censored details about the crime that put Clayton Lockett on death row, the better to generate revulsion at his deserved execution. You might say they buried the facts alive.

For example, the Times neglected to mention anything about the raping that preceded the murdering, which seems odd for a newspaper so consumed with the “War on Women.” (At least Lockett never refused to pay for a woman’s birth control pills!)

The Times also dropped the part about Lockett’s dangerous behavior while incarcerated, such as ordering hits on the witnesses against him, his threats to kill prison guards, and the bounty of homemade weapons seized from him in prison — saw blades, sharpened wires, shivs and shanks. (Old Times motto: “All the News That’s Fit to Print.” New Times motto: “Nobody Likes a Rat.”)

The newspaper also failed to report that Lockett had ended up in an adult prison by the age of 16 and then was convicted of four more felonies before committing the torture-murder of Stephanie Neiman that sent him to death row.

No, that information might distract from the Times’ florid descriptions of Lockett’s execution.

Bless their hearts, they gave it their all, but even the Times could not make Lockett’s “botched” execution sound particularly grisly. Here is the paper’s full, terrifying description:

“According to an eyewitness account by a reporter for The Tulsa World, Mr. Lockett tried to raise himself up, mumbled the word ‘man,’ and was in obvious pain. Officials hastily closed the blinds on the chamber and told reporters that the execution had been stopped because of a ‘vein failure.’ But at 7:06, the inmate was pronounced dead of a heart attack.”

Actually, I’m not that horrified. It sounds as if he suffered a bit, which is nice, and he’s dead, which was the objective of the whole enterprise.

You want horrifying? Imagine a 2-inch baby being chopped up with scissors. That can’t feel great.

Maybe they — and MSNBC’s similarly high-minded Rachel Maddow — should comfort themselves by thinking of Lockett’s execution as a very, very, very late-term abortion. You know, the kind that liberal darling Wendy Davis filibustered for 11 hours to keep legal.

Since Rachel and the Times are such big fans of partial-birth abortion, would they mind if we took a gigantic pair of scissors, jammed them in the back of Clayton Lockett’s head and let his brain slide out? Let’s get Kermit Gosnell working again!

Or how about giving the citizens of Oklahoma the right to choose an acid bath for condemned murderers? We’ll submerge people like Lockett in a tub filled with burning fluid until he’s mostly disintegrated and can be flushed down the toilet. (If it’s low-flow, flush twice.)

Or maybe an industrial vacuum designed to tear Lockett’s body apart.

Which reminds me: Would the Times ever give as detailed a description of an abortion as it does for the execution of a remorseless killer? The odds are pretty high that the baby isn’t even a rapist/murderer.

Opposition to the death penalty has nothing to do with compassion. Liberals weeping for murderers have zero compassion for an innocent baby trying to escape an abortionist’s cranioclast. Their dead earnestness about monsters like Clayton Lockett is solely designed to demonstrate how virtuous they are.

It will come as a surprise to the sort of person who works at the Times, but there are lots of people who don’t go through life trying to prove they’re better than everyone else. They don’t think to themselves: Listen to NPR? Check. Got the kids into a fancy preschool? Check. Now, what’s that little extra for experts? … Defend depraved murderers! Check!

Manifestly, these death penalty hysterics do not care about the victims of crime. But they don’t really care about the killers, either. Their only objective is to increase their self-esteem.

This is why liberal arguments against the death penalty are always circular. It’s not about logic; it’s about their conception of themselves.

U.S. pharmaceutical companies won’t sell lethal injection drugs to the states because they don’t want to be sued and harassed by anti-death penalty activists. European pharmaceutical companies refuse to sell the drugs to the U.S. because they’re so deeply committed to human rights — as we saw around the middle of the last century.

Then they all turn around and complain when crummy substitutes fail to produce nice, peaceful exits for heinous murderers. (You know — like they gave their victims.)

It’s exactly like the left’s complaint that the death penalty “costs too much.”

Q: Why is it so expensive?

A: Because we sue, drag the cases out forever with endless appeals and require states to spend millions of dollars on legal costs.

How about we cut the Euros and lefty activists out of the execution process altogether with a voluntary firing squad? It’s quick, it’s effective and the whole community gets to participate!

The state could run ads in newspapers giving detailed accounts of the condemned man’s crime — all that stuff The New York Times frantically hides from its readers — and then ask: “Would you be interested in being assigned to his firing squad?”

The Supreme Court has defined “cruel and unusual punishment” as something that offends society’s “evolving sense of decency.” When we see how many people volunteer for the firing squad, we’ll at least have a back-of-the-envelope estimate on whether society’s “evolving sense of decency” is more offended by the death of Clayton Lockett or that of Stephanie Neiman.

I know I’d volunteer. Having read the truth about what psychopaths like Clayton Lockett have done, I’d pay for the opportunity, especially if they promise my gun won’t have a blank.

The DemocRats have sent me dozens of this type of emails.

They go to my spam folder but just for laughs I read one or two of them.

I have not been a DemocRat since I met Ronald Reagan when he was running for President.

I was able to have lunch with Reagan where he continued explaining capital gains taxes.

I became a Conservative and Republican that day.

Friend — The Kochs will be BLINDSIDED: Since the National Journal warned that Koch attacks may lead to a Republican wave election, an astonishing 2,000 Democrats have stepped up to fight back in six hours alone! Our jaws are literally on the floor!!

But Rachel Maddow asks a critical question: “Are [Democrats] going to be able to match the Koch brothers ad-for-ad and make the Kochs’ false ads about health care actually hurt them?”

The answer is up to you: Tomorrow, our Koch Accountability Campaign is set to launch aggressive ads exposing the Kochs’ scheme to buy a Republican Senate that will hand them massive tax breaks paid for by struggling Americans.

We still need 2,500 more Democrats to step up in order to close our funding hole, or the Kochs’ lies could lead to a GOP wave that will cost Democrats the Senate.

Friend — In his final press conference of 2013, President Obama shared the positive news that “more than half a million Americans have enrolled through [the Obamacare website] in the first three weeks of December alone.”

On New Year’s Day, millions of Americans will have new, affordable health coverage because of Obamacare. But despite this, unrelenting attacks from the GOP — including $4.1 million alone from the Koch brothers — have taken a drastic toll on public support for health care reform.

Rachel Maddow reports that as Obamacare starts to succeed, it will become a political liability for Republicans. But the opposite is true as well — that’s why they’ve put everything they have into destroying it now. Bottom line: if we can’t respond to the GOP’s anti-Obamacare attacks, it could lead to a wave election where Republicans take over the Senate.

That’s why Democrats need to unite behind President Obama right now and respond before the year ends. In the next 96 hours, we need to raise $250,000 for our Obamacare Rapid Response Fund so we can respond to these anti-Obamacare attacks with facts and protect our Democratic majority.

MSNBC’s motto: ‘Lean racist’

This is by Ann Coulter in The Daily Caller.

Liberals define racism as a Conservative besting them in a discussion.

The Obama media only has the race card to play against Conservatives.

As they know they can not tout Obama’s policies as they are a failure.

If one were trying to prove in court that MSNBC is crazily biased, you could do worse than submitting Rachel Maddow’s Tuesday night show.

She was discussing the recently released June 2007 tape of Barack Obama using Hillary Clinton’s black accent to tell an audience of black preachers that the U.S. government doesn’t care about black people. Maddow explained with her typical leaden sarcastic wit that the tape reveals Obama’s “secret plan to be way more black than he seems to you now.”

(Though it’s counterintuitive, apparently some higher-ups at MSNBC are convinced that Rachel’s adorableness is working and they want more of it.)

Yes, it’s that Obama is black, that’s what the tape illustrates.

In the speech, Obama lied about America to portray the nation as irredeemably racist. Channeling Kanye West, Obama said the government doesn’t “care about” black people in New Orleans. This was based on his assertion that New York City received more help from the federal government after 9/11, and Florida got more after Hurricane Andrew.

Unlike blacks in New Orleans, he said, those victims were considered “part of the American family.”

Obama was a sitting senator when he spouted this nonsense. He had to know that months earlier, $100 billion in federal disaster relief had been sent to the Gulf states hit by Katrina — or five times more than the disaster relief funds sent to New York after 9/11.

All this was edited out of the clips Rachel played from Obama’s speech. This allowed her to smirk: “This is how [Obama] snuck into the White House, right? People didn’t actually know he was this black, and if they had known he was this black, they never would have elected him. That’s the idea here, right?”

Actually, Rachel, I think the point is that this half-black, private-schooled Hawaiian, born in 1961, is desperate for reasons to be angry at white America, so he can play-act Ralph Ellison in “The Invisible Man.”

As noted in that great new book “Mugged: Racial Demagoguery from the Seventies to Obama,” it’s always the person with the least black heritage who is angriest at the anti-racism meetings. The ones who have never actually experienced anything resembling Jim Crow — in fact, nothing but white suck-uppery — are the most consumed with rage about things having nothing to do with their lives.

You know who’s even angrier than the half-black Hawaiian about nonexistent racism in America? Pasty-white liberals on MSNBC.

Last week, Mitt Romney used the word “apartment.” That font of racial understanding, Chris Matthews (who has no black friends, neighbors or employees), revealed on MSNBC that the word “apartment” is racist.

So please add that to your New Racist Dictionary, along with others common to native English speakers, such as “law and order,” “welfare,” “Chicago,” “kitchen cabinet,” “golfing” and “the.” (“The” became racist when Donald Trump said he had a “great relationship with the blacks.”)

Liberals reason that if a Republican said it, it must be racist, and proceed from there.

In 2008, John McCain’s campaign ran a surprisingly effective ad called “Celeb.” On MSNBC, it was adjudged racist.

The ad began with a clip of a Berlin crowd ecstatically cheering Obama (historically, the mark of a great leader), followed by photos of Britney Spears and Paris Hilton, as the narrator called Obama “the biggest celebrity in the world.” Then, the music turned ominous, and the narrator listed Obama’s high-tax policies and opposition to offshore drilling, before saying that this was “the real Obama.”

It must have taken hours to come up with something racist about that, but Jonathan Alter and Keith Olbermann whipped out their “Captain America Super-Racist Decoder Rings”:

Alter, Newsweek columnist at the time: “The larger issue, I think, is clear — which is they’re trying to portray him as being uppity. Now, is that racist? I’m not sure.”

Olbermann: “Well, if we’re playing Password, and you say ‘uppity,’ the word that comes into my mind, that’s racist, yes.”

Wait — who said “uppity,” again? Did any Republican call Obama uppity? No. Did the ad call Obama uppity? No. Alter said “uppity”: It’s about Obama’s uppityness. That much we know. Is that racist? That’s for the public to decide. I remain neutral.

The ad had nothing to do with Obama being uppity. It was nearly the opposite, comparing him to lightweight celebrities.

In 2010, even Scott Brown’s pickup truck came in for a charge of racism on MSNBC. Olbermann said that what Scott Brown voters truly opposed was having “an African-American president.”

When this insane point was met with mild resistance from Howard Fineman, Keith produced the smoking gun: “What were the Scott Brown ads, though? Every one of the Scott Brown ads had him in a pickup truck.”

I wonder if it was an “uppity” pickup truck …

As soon as the racism hunters at MSNBC come up with a final and complete list of racist code words, they should release it to the public. But it needs to be aired on a network with lots of viewers, so they better send it to Fox News.

In a world bristling with imaginary “dog-whistle” racists, white liberal racists prefer bullhorns.

Labor Department spent $500G in stimulus on green-job ad blitz on Olbermann, Maddow

This is from Fox News.

Is there any wonder the networks are in the tank for Obama?

$500,000 passed out to PMSNBC to advertise on Rachel Madcow(dow) and Olberdouche bags shows.

How many more tax payers dollars have gone to the other networks.

This is how Obama defines shovel ready jobs as they are shoveling BS lots of BS.

The Obama administration paid a PR firm nearly $500,000 in stimulus funds to run a barrage of ads on White House-friendly cable programs promoting its green job training program.

According to government records, the Labor Department paid the money in late 2009 to a company that negotiated a media buy on MSNBC‘s “Countdown with Keith Olbermann” and “The Rachel Maddow Show.” The ad was set to run more than 100 times — 14 times a week for two months.

It’s unclear how many people might have gotten involved in the green job training program because of the ads. But in terms of direct economic impact, the official online entry on the contract listed zero jobs created as a result of the payment.

“On the surface, this doesn’t pass the basic sniff test,” Rep. Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, who sits on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, told

Chaffetz, who said he’s writing a letter to the Labor Department seeking more information about the contract, complained that the federal government already spends “way too much” on advertising as it is.

He said the targeting of these ads also raises questions about “political motivations.”

The $495,000 contract was awarded to McNeely Pigott & Fox Public Relations.

The Labor Department defended the expense, suggesting in a brief statement Wednesday afternoon that the decisions on placement were largely made by the contractor.

Job Corps has used media buys over the decades to inform potential participants and referral sources as well as employers about the Job Corps program. In this case, the Department of Labor relied on an outside contractor and media buying expert to perform research, conduct cost comparisons of media outlets, determine the most cost-effective way to reach the target audience, and create and place the ads,” the department said.

Two department spokesmen also told The Washington Times that Larry King’s former CNN show was considered for carrying the ad but was dropped because MSNBC was thought to be able to reach more viewers.

But Rick Manning, a spokesman with Americans for Limited Government who used to be chief of staff in the Labor Department’s public affairs office in the George W. Bush administration, took issue with the department’s explanation of the purchase. “The fact that they claim that they delegated this spending authority to a consultant without oversight is outrageous,” he said.

The Maddow and Olbermann shows — the latter of which is no longer on MSNBC — have been two of the friendliest programs toward the administration on cable TV. Maddow herself cut an MSNBC ad last year touting government investment in infrastructure — an Obama priority — as she stood in front of the Hoover Dam and called on the country to “figure out whether or not we are still a country that can think this big.”

The official “award summary” on the Labor Department contract explained that the ads were meant for “raising awareness among employers and influencers” about the green job training program and to move a “target audience” to contact the Job Corps Call Center to ask about enrolling.

The summary cited “existing and new training initiatives in high-growth and environmentally friendly career areas.”

According to the Labor Department, the Job Corps committed more than $9 million in stimulus funds toward growing its training program and brought in more than 60,000 students to participate in the process.

The department reported that it was adding training programs “for an emerging green economy” — by developing concentrations for such careers as weatherization technician, smart meter technician and other fields.
