Cruz: Media, Establishment’s ‘Chosen One’ Rubio Is Unelectable Like Dole, McCain, Romney

This is from Breitbarts Big Government.

If by some strange twist of fate Marco Rubio should get the GOP nomination, I will vote for him.

If by some even weirder twist of fate Little Jebbie Bush gets the nomination, I would not vote for him.

At a Thursday event in Weare, New Hampshire, presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) labeled opposing candidate Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) as the media-anointed “chosen one” for the GOP establishment but ultimately unelectable like prior failed nominees.

Cruz compared the number three candidate out of Iowa to past establishment candidates Bob Dole,

Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) , and Mitt Romney — the candidates touted as the “electable one(s)” to win the GOP nomination but went on to lose in the general election. The Wall Street Journal reported that he claimed Rubio’s surge is tied to a coordinated push for a Democrat-leaning candidate. According to Cruz, Rubio “has agreed with the Democrats the most.”

“I understand that in the media newsrooms and in the Washington establishment circles, Marco is the chosen one,” Mr. Cruz said outside a sports bar here. He went on to dismiss Mr. Rubio’s third-place finish in the Iowa caucuses, which Mr. Cruz won. “In the media’s telling, bronze is the new gold.”

Cruz slighted Rubio’s Iowa performance, saying the media is painting a “bronze” finish as “gold.”

Rubio celebrated his third place position in the Iowa caucuses behind Cruz and Trump as a big win. He did come out far ahead of fellow establishment candidates Jeb Bush, John Kasich, and Chris Christie. His finish within range of insurgent candidate Donald Trump came as a surprise to many.

A CNN poll released Thursday has Rubio jumping in New Hampshire to number two at 18 percent behind front-runner Trump, who is at a commanding 29 percent. Cruz sits at third in the poll with 12 percent.

Early predictions in the 2016 GOP race for the presidency tagged Jeb Bush as the establishment golden boy just waiting for formal coronation. But with Rubio in the spotlight, now Bush stands waiting in the wings to pick up the slack should Rubio falter or the establishment winds switch yet again.

With New Hampshire just days away and the establishment set gunning for position there, Rubio could edge out the competition in the long haul if he pulls out a strong result. Bush and Christie are taking shots at Rubio in efforts to raise their positions in the race.

Jeb Bush questioned Rubio’s qualifications again on Thursday, asking what accomplishments the junior Senator has to show for his ambitions and as a politician. Christie compared Rubio’s time in the Senate to that of Barack Obama. Christie’s campaign is also using a Morning Joe interview with failed 2016 candidate Rick Santorum, where Santorum, who is now endorsing Rubio, said of the freshman Senator, “The bottom line is, there isn’t a whole lot of accomplishment.”

Rubio is firing back against the establishment label, telling Sean Hannity on Fox News that he rejects labels and he’s not an “establishment Republican.” He then argued that he overcame establishment candidate Charlie Crist and that his opponents in that race went on to participate in Bush’s presidential campaign.

SHERIFF CLARKE: Challenged Obama With Something That He Will Never Do

This is from Clash Daily.

Obama is a member of the elite ruling class so he in his own mind deserves to be protected.

Sheriff Clarke would make a great Attorney General in a Trump or Cruz administration.

Sheriff Clarke just called out Obama and you can expect him to never even think about doing this.

( – “I am done asking people in my community to outsource their personal safety to the government,” Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke told Fox News’s Sean Hannity Thursday night.

The sheriff accuses Democrats of “exploiting misery and tragedy” to pursue a political, anti-gun agenda.

“But here’s my challenge to the president of the United States, you think this is so easy. Forego your Secret Service protection, for you, for the first lady, and your children, and see what it is like to have to fend yourself.

“And then we’ll sit down and have a conversation so you know what we here at ground level have to deal with on a daily base in terms of self-defense.”

In Three Minutes Mark Steyn Clears Up Any Questions About Which Party Owns the Confederate Flag

This is from the Independent Journal Review.

The DemocRats are historically tied to slavery and racism.

Nathan Bedofrd Forrest a lifelong DemocRat was the founder and first Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan.

Jim Crow Laws were written by DemocRats and enforced by lifelong DemocRat Theophilus Eugene “Bull” Connor.

Mark Steyn responded to Sean Hannity’s question about racism and slavery in world class form. Hannity asked how these issues became a Republican problem in the current debates over the Confederate flag, and Steyn exploded.

His strongly-worded response, in full:

“I know the GOP is called the stupid party, but the idea that Republicans can have the Confederate flag hung around their neck is ridiculous.

It’s a Democrat flag. The flags – the states that seceded during the Civil War were all Democrat states, that’s their flag. The slave states were Democrat states, the racist states until the 1960s were Democrat states.

The Democratic Party was the largest and most powerful institution supporting slavery in the English speaking world. And it’s the only one that has survived to the 21st century. Slavery is very unusual among the English speaking peoples. Canadians didn’t do it, Australians didn’t do it. The Democratic Party and the states they controlled did it.

It’s their flag, Hillary Clinton had it on campaign bumper stickers when she ran for president in 2008. You mentioned Robert C. Byrd, Sean. Bill Clinton was doing Ku Klux Klan grand kleagle jokes at Byrd’s funeral. Saying, Robert C. Byrd – he used to, he was the grand kleagle – he just did what he had to do, you know, I’m too sexy for my sheet. It’s their flag, It deserves to be hung around their neck. It has nothing to do with the Republican Party.”

After Hannity made a comment about Bill Clinton playing golf for years at a whites-only country club, Steyn continued:

“It’s a party with an incredible century-and-a-half history of institutional racism. There’s nothing like it anywhere on the planet.

You know, people go on about apartheid South Africa. The national party came to power in 1948 and they were gone 45 years later. That’s how long they lasted. They’re nothing now.

The Democratic Party has never come to terms with the evil of its past, the idea – it was a party committed to the proposition that one human being could own another human being. And they’ve never – they’ve never said a word about that. They’ve never apologized for it, they’ve never atoned for it in the way that they have the reconciliation commission in South Africa. Tony Blair a couple of years ago was going around apologizing for everything. He apologized for the Irish potato famine. The Canadian government apologized for how it treated Indian school children.

When is the Democratic party going to apologize for being the biggest slave-holding supporting institution on the planet and sticking with racism for the century after the abolition of slavery?”

That’s going to be difficult to explain. And some obscure reference about the Southern Strategy doesn’t seem like quite enough to transfer all the sins of the Democratic Party onto their rivals in the GOP. After all, if the Confederate Flag represents the sin of slavery in America’s history, it should be made quite clear to which party’s history that actually belongs.

Watch Deneen Borelli Debate Black Children Anti-White Brainwashing on Hannity

Deneen is exposing the lack of tolerance and ignorance of the race baiting left.

Jacques DeGraff is one of those clueless race baiters.

What kind of name is  Coatlupe?

The ramifications of the propaganda campaign surrounding Michael Brown’s killing are still unfolding.

A couple of black parents in California have organized a girl scouts type group that focuses on social justice.

The Washington Times reported on the group.

The small groups of 8- to 11-year-old girls were organized about a month ago by Marilyn Hollinquest and her friend Anayvette Martinez, after Ms. Martinez’s daughter Coatlupe told her she wanted to join a girls group, a local CBS affiliate reported.

“How amazing would it be to have a girls’ troop that was really focused around social justice and where girls could even earn badges?” Ms. Martinez mused.

The first earned badge is a fist with the slogan “Black Lives Matter.”

The consequences of the brainwashing doesn’t stop there. In interviews, the girls expressed resentment against white police officers for killing blacks including Michael Brown.

Watch Deneen debate the issue on Hannity with host Sean Hannity and guest Jacques DeGraff.

The Obama Administration is Reporting 5.6% Unemployment. The Truth Will Give You Heartburn.

This is from Joe For America.

Anyone that listens to Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin or Sean Hannity already knows these numbers are bogus.

The Obamabots and Obama Media are the only ones that believe the numbers are true.

Actually, the truth about that 5.6% unemployment rate will more than likely make you mad as hell.  First, let’s get the point of view from the far left KoolAid stand about the job numbers from December.

So, should we be cheering and throwing rose petals at the feet of the President?  Here’s what the CEO of Gallup, the polling folks, has to say about that.

Here’s something that many Americans — including some of the smartest and most educated among us — don’t know: The official unemployment rate, as reported by the U.S. Department of Labor, is extremely misleading.

Right now, we’re hearing much celebrating from the media, the White House and Wall Street about how unemployment is “down” to 5.6%. The cheerleading for this number is deafening. The media loves a comeback story, the White House wants to score political points and Wall Street would like you to stay in the market.

None of them will tell you this: If you, a family member or anyone is unemployed and has subsequently given up on finding a job — if you are so hopelessly out of work that you’ve stopped looking over the past four weeks — the Department of Labor doesn’t count you as unemployed. That’s right. While you are as unemployed as one can possibly be, and tragically may never find work again, you are not counted in the figure we see relentlessly in the news — currently 5.6%. Right now, as many as 30 million Americans are either out of work or severely underemployed. Trust me, the vast majority of them aren’t throwing parties to toast “falling” unemployment.

There’s another reason why the official rate is misleading. Say you’re an out-of-work engineer or healthcare worker or construction worker or retail manager: If you perform a minimum of one hour of work in a week and are paid at least $20 — maybe someone pays you to mow their lawn — you’re not officially counted as unemployed in the much-reported 5.6%. Few Americans know this.

Yet another figure of importance that doesn’t get much press: those working part time but wanting full-time work. If you have a degree in chemistry or math and are working 10 hours part time because it is all you can find — in other words, you are severely underemployed — the government doesn’t count you in the 5.6%. Few Americans know this.

There’s no other way to say this. The official unemployment rate, which cruelly overlooks the suffering of the long-term and often permanently unemployed as well as the depressingly underemployed, amounts to a Big Lie.

And it’s a lie that has consequences, because the great American dream is to have a good job, and in recent years, America has failed to deliver that dream more than it has at any time in recent memory. A good job is an individual’s primary identity, their very self-worth, their dignity — it establishes the relationship they have with their friends, community and country. When we fail to deliver a good job that fits a citizen’s talents, training and experience, we are failing the great American dream.

Gallup defines a good job as 30+ hours per week for an organization that provides a regular paycheck. Right now, the U.S. is delivering at a staggeringly low rate of 44%, which is the number of full-time jobs as a percent of the adult population, 18 years and older. We need that to be 50% and a bare minimum of 10 million new, good jobs to replenish America’s middle class.

I hear all the time that “unemployment is greatly reduced, but the people aren’t feeling it.” When the media, talking heads, the White House and Wall Street start reporting the truth — the percent of Americans in good jobs; jobs that are full time and real – then we will quit wondering why Americans aren’t “feeling” something that doesn’t remotely reflect the reality in their lives. And we will also quit wondering what hollowed out the middle class.

The “real” unemployment rate is more like 13%, and the case can be made that it’s as high as 22%.

The Obama administration is proud of the 5.6% number.  What they won’t tell you is that there are about 7 million fewer people working or looking for work today than there were when Barack Obama took office.

Always remember, when dealing with statistics and politicians, that statistics is an art not a science.  Sure, some math formulas are used to produce the numbers, but the outcome is determined by the data that is included and excluded.  Two statisticians can, and have, produced widely different outcomes using the same data.

Statistics, and especially government statistics, are the product of the politicians trying to spin an issue.  In the case of Obama’s job numbers, they’re flat out lies.

‘We’ve Already Lost Jesus’: Duck Dynasty Patriarch Slams Radical Islam, Political Correctness

This is from the Independent Journal Review.

If we ever forget that we are One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under.

Fox News’ Sean Hannity hosted Phil Robertson, the patriarch of the Duck Dynasty family, to discuss how Americans have been led astray, and why our country is failing to recognize terrorists as “Islamic.”

Robertson used “historical context” to explain what murderous regimes throughout history — the Nazis, the Shintoists, the Communists — have in common: no Jesus. And Robertson says we could be headed in the same direction. CNS News reports:

“We’ve already lost Jesus as a nation,” Robertson told Fox News’s Sean Hannity Thursday night.

“We’ve lost him. We’ve walled him off. We’ve walled him out of our schools. We’ve walled him out of our government. We just walled him off. Well, once you wall God off and he’s not there…something has to fill the void. That’s why we have trouble.”

Also, Islam is following in the same footsteps as these previous regimes, Robertson says. Contrary to what they say, he says, their motivations are not religious:

“It’s just an ideology under the guise of a religion,” Robertson said. “They want to conquer the world. There’s no Jesus with them, either. And they’re famous for murder.”

Robertson blamed “political correctism” on our nation’s failure to call these terrorists what they are — “radical Islamists.” He slammed President Obama’s inability to use those words, and institutions like Duke University for shutting out Christians on campus while welcoming Muslims.

Phil Robertson on ISIL: ‘Convert them or kill them’

This is from The Politico.

I agree with Phil converting ISIS  is next to impossible, so the only option left is to Kill them all and Let God sort them out.

“Duck Dynasty” star Phil Robertson has a prescription for how to handle Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant militants: “Convert them or kill them.”

Appearing on Fox News on Tuesday evening, the reality television personality quoted several verses from the Bible and asked why ISIL harbors hatred for the U.S. even as the military has increasingly withdrawn from the region.

Host Sean Hannity argued that ISIL is “at war with us” and creates a significant threat to the U.S. and Israel, regardless of how the Obama administration or the American people view the group.

“You either have to convert them — which I think would be next to impossible. I’m not giving up on them, but I’m just saying, either convert them or kill them,” Robertson responded, likening ISIL militants to “street thugs on steroids.”

The interview took place hours after the release of a video — since confirmed by the National Security Council and President Barack Obama — showing the beheading of American journalist Steven Sotloff. Two weeks prior, ISIL — the terrorist group that has swept across much of northern and central Iraq — released a video that showed U.S. photojournalist James Foley being killed in a similar manner.

Robertson is a popular figure among some in the conservative movement and has spoken in the past at the Republican Leadership Conference.

Former Vice President Cheney calls Hagel’s proposed Army cuts ‘absolutely devastating’

This is from Fox News.

Can you say Pearl Harbor times 100?

Former Vice President Dick Cheney said Monday that Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel’s proposed drastic cuts to the U.S. Army are “absolutely dangerous” and would cause long-term damage to the military.

Cheney told Fox News’ Sean Hannity the proposed cuts, which would shrink the Army to its smallest size since just before the U.S. entered World War II, would have a devastating impact on the ability of future presidents to deal with future crises.

“This is really over the top,” Cheney said. “It does enormous long-term damage to our military.”

The Army had already been preparing to shrink to 490,000 active-duty members from a wartime peak of 570,000. Hagel is proposing to cut it further to between 440,000 and 450,000.

“We are repositioning to focus on the strategic challenges and opportunities that will define our future: new technologies, new centers of power, and a world that is growing more volatile, more unpredictable, and in some instances more threatening to the United States,” Hagel said at a press conference at the Pentagon.

He defended the proposed reductions in troop strength, as a trade-off for building up “technological superiority” and priorities like Special Operations Forces and “cyber resources.”

However, Cheney questioned how the cuts would affect military readiness, in a time where the U.S. faces threats from multiple areas of the world.

“That would lead me to think I need the strength of military capabilities, not cut it,” he said.

Cheney said he believes the cuts are a reflection of President Obama’s beliefs, and that the president has always wanted to cut the military.

“He said when he went to Cairo in that famous apology tour back in ’09 he believed, apologized for our overreaction to the events of 9/11,” he said, “and today he is fixing it in a way, in a fact where it will be almost impossible for future presidents to deal with that kind of situation.”

Sources: Rand Paul to push legislation nullifying Obama’s executive actions on guns

This is from The Daily Caller.

I have emailed my  Senator’s and asked them to support Sen.Paul’s legislation.

But I am sad to say one Senator is a recently elected Democrat and the other a RINO.

But the RINO is up for reelection so that may Sen.Coats to support Sen.Paul.

Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul plans to introduce legislation in Congress soon nullifying the executive orders on guns announced by President Barack Obama on Wednesday, a source familiar with the plans confirmed to The Daily Caller.

The Republican legislator plans to reveal his plans for legislation during an appearance on Sean Hannity’s show on Fox News on Wednesday night, the source said.

Obama on Wednesday announced during a White House ceremony that he plans to initiate 23 executive actions meant to curb gun violence in the wake of the Newtown, Conn., massacre last year.

The news was first reported during the Fox News show “The Five” on Wednesday by anchor Eric Bolling.

“I’m told Sen. Rand Paul will introduce language within hours, within hours, to call for the nullification and prohibition of funding for the president’s executive actions announced today and possibly even using the federal courts to nullify and defund some of the things that he plans on doing,” Bolling said.

The Capitol Hill source told TheDC that Paul’s legislation is expected to do three things: nullify Obama’s executive orders, defund them and ask the Senate to file a court challenge to them. (RELATED: Rep. Stockman promises to ‘lead the fight’ against executive orders)

UPDATE: Appearing on Hannity, Paul said he’ll introduce the bill early next week. “In this bill, we will nullify anything the president does that smacks of legislation. And there are several of the executive orders that appear as if he’s writing new law. That cannot happen.”

“I’m afraid that President Obama may have this king complex sort of developing, and we’re going to make sure that doesn’t happen,” Paul said.
