It’s time to STOP making bases and other facilities ‘soft’ targets for shooters…

The only GOOD point is the SOB that shot them is dead! Too bad the CPD didn’t get him before he got there.

Semper Fi Marines!

There is a We the People petition now online HERE to get rid of the stupid directive put in place by Bill Clinton in 1992 that prevents the military from protecting themselves…

We petition an immediate and full revocation of Department of Defense Directive 5210.66 and all pursuant military service regulations restricting the rights of DoD / Military personnel in regards to firearms.

DoD Directive 5210.66 restricts all DoD personnel from exercising the right to bear arms while on a DoD installation unless it is expressly written into their job duties. This Directive (and pursuant service regulations) effectively prohibit service members from carrying a concealed firearm for self defense.

DoD Directive 5210.66 restricts our highly trained service members from access to their firearms when it is most needed. In its place a new directive should be authored allowing a “Shall Issue” concealed carry weapon permit system to be established for all DoD personnel.

Best story about Marines EVER

This is an oldie but a goodie. Gung Ho!, Semper Fidelis!

While Obama works hard at doing nothing to wipe radical Islamic terror group ISIS off the face of the earth, there’s a group of warriors sitting at bay who are just itching to get a shot at taking these dudes down.

These warriors would be the men and women who make up the United States Marine Corp, and as you’ll see from the story below, if we let even just one soldier off the chain, ISIS’ days are numbered.

This will definitely put a smile on your face.

marinestory

BOOM!

All joking aside, our military is the best of the best, and ISIS terrorists don’t hold a candle to our Marines.

ISIS has proven to be a credible threat to our nation’s security and to our people abroad. However, these guys can easily be taken out with a clear strategy that involves boots on the ground and a whole lot of guns and bullets.

Along with that, we also need to be fighting their twisted ideology, which encourages Islamic believers to attack unbelievers and anyone who they deem to be a “hindrance” to the spread of their religion.

You combine ideological warfare with Marines on the ground and ISIS doesn’t stand a chance.

Marines jump in to help woman confronted by robbers

LYNNWOOD, Wash. —

Three U.S. Marine Corps recruiters said they heard repeated honking from inside their office on Tuesday around 5:00 p.m. — when they ran out to see what was going on.

“We thought there was road rage involved or a fight broke loose,” said Sgt. Riccardo Schebesta.

Schebesta and two other recruiters rushed outside and saw a woman yelling for help.

She said, ‘Help me I’m being robbed.’ I stopped paying attention to her. She’s not the problem,” said Staff Sgt. Ben Shoemaker.

He immediately saw one of the suspects, and ran to try and catch them.

“No — that kid was never going to outrun me,” Shoemaker added. “Marines run towards the sound of chaos.”

Moments earlier, Lynnwood Police said that the woman was confronted by two robbery suspects.

Officers said the woman in her 60’s was getting into her pick-up truck in the parking lot of the Alderwood Mall.

Two teenagers then attempted robbing her, and one of them said he had a gun.

Court documents show that the woman told them that she was a retired police officer.

She reached for her purse and then dropped it on the ground. She pushed one of the suspects and started to chase them in her pick-up truck.

She couldn’t get to them, but Shoemaker detained 18-year-old Diego Tavares with a technique called the arm bar.

“An arm bar keeps in on his feet, but keeps him compliant,” said Shoemaker.

“As Staff Sgt. Shoemaker detained the first guy, I got on the phone with 911. At the time there were no police officers on the scene,” said Staff Sgt. Bryson Twigg.

The other suspect escaped, but Tavares was arrested when police arrived shortly afterwards.

“It’s what we do. From the beginning what we’re taught in boot camp — it’s a part of us,” said Schebesta.

Officers found a baseball bat in his pants but did not recover a gun on him or at the scene.

On Wednesday, a Snohomish County judge set his bail at $25,000.

“It’s really what I’m trained to do, be it recruiting, be it that — my job is to protect the United States public,” said Shoemaker.

Lynnwood police are still searching for the second suspect.

The 239th Birthday Message From The Commandant Of The Marine Corps

Happy Birthday Devil Dogs.

A MESSAGE FROM THE COMMANDANT OF THE MARINE CORPS

In his birthday greeting 70 years ago, General Alexander Vandegrift, our 18th Commandant noted that, “A Birthday is a fitting time to peer backward – and forward.” That year, Marines reflected on an extraordinary year in combat during their amphibious drive across the Pacific. Despite the challenges and the horrific conditions, Marines prevailed at Guam, Saipan, and Peleliu. On 10 November 1944, Marines looked back with pride on their accomplishment – confident in their ability to meet future challenges.

In 2004, 20,000 Marines deployed to Al Anbar Province, Iraq – many Marines celebrated the birthday in places like Fallujah, Ramadi, and Al Qaim while decisively engaged in combat. That year, Marines also responded to crisis in the Pacific following a tsunami which claimed the lives of more than 200,000 people. On 10 November 2004, Marines looked back with pride on their accomplishments – confident in their ability to meet future challenges.

As we celebrate our 239th birthday, Marines are in combat in Afghanistan. Since we last gathered to celebrate our Corps’ birthday, we also responded to crises in the Philippines, South Sudan, Libya, and Iraq.

Some things change. This year found us in different climes and places that our predecessors in 1944 and 2004. We have adapted our organization, training, and equipment to the ever-changing operating environment. Some things remain the same. Marines attacked this year’s challenges with the same courage, commitment, loyalty, self-sacrifice, and adaptability as their predecessors in Peleliu and Fallujah. For that reason, on 10 November 2014, we Marines can look back with pride on our accomplishments- confident in our ability to meet future challenges.

Thanks for who you are and what you do. Happy Birthday Marines.

It is a shame the lid did not come off his latte had covered him.

Lousy Disrespectful Bastard.

Unreal.

Obama has been in office since January of 2009 and he still can’t salute properly?

It would have been better if Obama would have just done nothing.

Obama’s disdain for the military has no ends.

Gun store thanks supporters after raid: ‘We’re not down on our knees begging for mercy’

This is from BizPac Review.

I do not remember who it was that called the ATF JackBooted Thugs by they were correct.

Obama is using the ATF like his personal Gestapo.

As the saying goes the Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives should be the corner store not a government agency.

Ares raid

A California gun parts and accessories store that was the subject of a surprise raid by agents of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives on Saturday is not going meekly into the night. The store’s owner has vowed to stand and fight for what he believes are his rights.

Ares Armor is now using their Facebook page to keep everyone apprised. Immediately after the raid, Ares’ CEO, Dimitrios Karras posted:

update: The ATF did execute a search warrant against all of our buildings today. None of our employees has been detained or arrested. We will be open for business tomorrow. We will be back up and shipping out orders on Monday. We wholeheartedly believe that they are WRONG in their actions and we will be relentlessly pursuing remedy through the courts. Quote from an ATF Agent during the raid “searching is fun! paper work sucks.” Maybe the ATF thinks the Constitution is part of that paper work that sucks… Despicable behavior on their part. This is just the beginning! Thank you all for the support! -Dimitrios Karras, CEO

His Saturday night post makes it clear he’ll fight to the last, and calls on the support of Second Amendment advocates:

Thank you all for the support. Our new friends are probably not pleased that we are not down on our knees begging for mercy. We have been contacted by several politicians already, but we need all the help we can get! Please do more than offer kind words. Contact your representative or congressmen and make sure they know about our plight. What they have done is wrong!

Riddle me this? Why would they execute a raid on a matter that is already in the courts hands before the hearing for preliminary injunction? Are they afraid of the facts? Criminals do not run to the courts for protection, criminals do not go to the media. They are wrong, and they know it! Thank you in advance for your help.

This whole thing started when Ares Armor got wind that the ATF wanted Ares’ customer list and inventory of composite “80% lower receivers” for AR-15 rifles. The business responded by obtaining a temporary order on Tuesday of last week restraining the ATF from seizing these items.

Three days later, the ATF went behind Ares back and obtained an ex parte order qualifying the previous order by alleging Ares had engaged in criminal activity. On that basis, a search warrant was executed the following day.

The following video was taken outside Ares looking in during the raid.
