Donald Trump says Bowe Bergdahl should have been executed

This is from Fox News.

Donald Trump has said what many of us believe the  deserting traitor Bowie Bergdahl should be shot.

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump said Thursday that Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl should have been executed for leaving his post in Afghanistan.

“We’re tired of Sgt. Bergdahl, who’s a traitor, a no-good traitor, who should have been executed,” Trump said to cheers at a rowdy rally inside a packed Las Vegas theater at the casino-hotel Treasure Island.

“Thirty years ago,” Trump added, “he would have been shot.”

It was practically an aside in a litany of complaints at the end of a more than hourlong, free-wheeling speech that included a large dose of media-bashing and a claim that he was behind Rep. Kevin McCarthy’s decision to drop out of the race for House speaker.

Bergdahl was charged in March with desertion and misbehavior before the enemy. The Army conducted a hearing on his case earlier this month. His attorney, Eugene Fidell, said in a statement that Trump “has become a broken record on this subject.”

“If he took the time to study what actually emerged at the preliminary hearing he would be singing a different tune,” Fidell said.

Trump has, in the past, pantomimed a firing squad, Fidell said.

Bergdahl has been accused of leaving his post in southeastern Afghanistan in June 2009. He was held prisoner by the Taliban for five years, then exchanged for five Taliban commanders being held by the U.S. Trump has long railed against the deal.

The speech was punctuated by shouts of support from the crowd that filled about 1,620 seats in the Las Vegas Strip casino theater normally reserved for acrobatic Cirque du Soleil productions.

At one point, in a moment that appeared to be impromptu, Trump brought a supporter in the audience to the stage who declared she is Hispanic and voting for Trump. Myriam Witcher, 35, of Las Vegas, waved an issue of People magazine with Trump and his family on the cover, asking Trump to sign it.

Afterward, the Colombian immigrant, who noted she came to the United States legally, called Trump her “No. 1 person in the United States.”

His speech spanned a spider-web of topics that included his disdain for media coverage, many of his fellow Republican presidential candidates and current political leadership as well as Thursday’s news that McCarthy had dropped out of a race for House speaker.

“You know, Kevin McCarthy is out. You know that, right?” he asked the crowd. “And they’re giving me a lot of credit for that because I said you really need somebody very, very tough and very smart. … We need smart, we need tough, we need the whole package.”

Trump didn’t identify who had given him credit for McCarthy dropping out.

Military selects rarely used charge for Bergdahl case

This is from Fox News.

I have a hope this new charge could bring the death penalty.

But it most likely will not so hopefully it will bring a life without parole sentence.

Military prosecutors have reached into a section of military law seldom used since World War II in the politically fraught case against Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, the soldier held prisoner for years by the Taliban after leaving his post in Afghanistan.

Observers wondered for months if Bergdahl would be charged with desertion after the deal brokered by the U.S. to bring him home. He was — but he was also charged with misbehavior before the enemy, a much rarer offense that carries a stiffer potential penalty in this case.

I’ve never seen it charged,” Walter Huffman, a retired major general who served as the Army’s top lawyer, said of the misbehavior charge. “It’s not something you find in common everyday practice in the military.”

Bergdahl could face a life sentence if convicted of the charge, which accuses him of endangering fellow soldiers when he “left without authority; and wrongfully caused search and recovery operations.”

Huffman and others say the misbehavior charge allows authorities to allege that Bergdahl not only left his unit with one less soldier, but that his deliberate action put soldiers who searched for him in harm’s way. The Pentagon has said there is no evidence anyone died searching for Bergdahl.

“You’re able to say that what he did had a particular impact or put particular people at risk. It is less generic than just quitting,” said Lawrence Morris, a retired Army colonel who served as the branch’s top prosecutor and top public defender.

The Obama administration has been criticized both for agreeing to release five Taliban operatives from the Guantanamo Bay prison and for heralding Bergdahl’s return to the U.S. with an announcement in the White House Rose Garden. The administration stood by the way it secured his release even after the charges were announced.

The military has scheduled an initial court appearance known as an Article 32 hearing for Bergdahl on Sept. 17 at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The proceeding is similar to a civilian grand jury, and afterward the case could be referred to a court-martial and go to trial.

Misbehavior before the enemy was used hundreds of times during World War II, but scholars say its use appears to have dwindled in conflicts since then. Misbehavior before the enemy cases were tried at least 494 times for soldiers in Europe between 1942 and 1945, according to a Military Law Review article.

Legal databases and media accounts turn up only a few misbehavior cases since 2001 when fighting began in Afghanistan, followed by Iraq less than two years later. By contrast, statistics show the U.S. Army prosecuted about 1,900 desertion cases between 2001 and the end of 2014.

The misbehavior charge is included in Article 99 of the military justice code, which is best known for its use to prosecute cases of cowardice. However, Article 99 encompasses nine different offenses including several not necessarily motivated by cowardice, such as causing a false alarm or endangering one’s unit — the charge Bergdahl faces.

The complexity of Article 99 may be one reason it’s not frequently used, said Morris, who published a book on the military justice system.

“It is of course more complicated than the desertion charge, not as well understood, a higher burden on the government to prove,” he said.

Huffman, now a law professor at Texas Tech University, said another reason may be that different parts of military law already deal with similar misconduct, including disobeying orders and avoiding duty.

Recent prosecutions under the misbehavior charge include a Marine lance corporal who pleaded guilty after refusing to provide security for a convoy leaving base in Iraq in 2004. A soldier in Iraq was charged with cowardice in 2003 under Article 99 after he saw a mangled body and sought counseling, but the charges were later dropped.

The specification that Bergdahl faces appears in the 1971 case of an Army captain accused of endangering a base in Vietnam by disobeying an order to establish an ambush position. The captain was found guilty of other charges including dereliction of duty.

Another case cited in a 1955 military law journal says an Army corporal was convicted under Article 99 of endangering his unit in Korea by getting drunk on duty. The article says he “became so drunk that it took the tank company commander thirty minutes to arouse him.”

For Bergdahl, the Article 99 offense allows the prosecutors to seek a stiffer penalty than the desertion charge, which in this case carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison.

Bergdahl’s attorney, Eugene Fidell, has argued his client is being charged twice for the same action, saying in a previous television interview that “it’s unfortunate that someone got creative in drafting the charge sheet and figured out two ways to charge the same thing.”

The scholars say that’s a valid issue for Fidell to bring up in court, but it may not sway military authorities.

“The question is: Is it a piling on?” said Jeffrey K. Walker, a St. John’s University law professor, retired Air Force officer and former military lawyer. “It does almost look like you’re trying to get two bites at the same apple.”

The 6 U.S. Soldiers Who Died Searching for Bowe Bergdahl

Bowie “The Deserting Traitor” Bergdahl should be executed shortly after his conviction.

Troops suggest that Bergdahl’s desertion makes him more traitor than hero.

Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl was freed by the Taliban over the weekend after they held him for nearly five years, in exchange for five Taliban leaders, who will spend a year cooling their heels in Qatar. You might have heard about it on the news.

Chances are you haven’t heard of the six soldiers who died hunting for him after he went missing, according to military officials. Now that Bergdahl has been sprung—in exchange for five senior Taliban officials, who had been imprisoned at Guantanamo—soldiers who served with Bergdahl are grumbling that he deserted and shouldn’t be hailed as a hero, especially given the resulting cost in American lives.

Flashback Friday: Reagan’s Response to Terrorism Stands In STRONG Contrast to Obama’s

This is from Independent Journal Review.

Ronald Reagan was a true leader and an inspiration.

Barack Obama is a limp wristed Nancy boy.

Both President Reagan and President Obama had to deal with terrorist actions during their time in office, but their responses couldn’t be more different.

After ISIS beheaded several American citizens last summer, Obama said in a press conference:

I have consulted in Congress throughout this process. As our strategy develops we will continue to consult with Congress. But I don’t want to put the cart before the horse. We don’t have a strategy yet.

On April 14, 1986, while announcing air and naval strikes against Muammar al-Qaddafi and the Libyan regime, Reagan was emphatic in his resolve to eliminate any terrorist threat.

Colonel Qadaffi is not only an enemy against the United States….He has sanctioned acts of terror in Africa, Europe, and the Middle East…and for us to ignore by inaction the slaughter of American civilians and American soldiers, whether in nightclubs or in airline terminals, is simply not in the American tradition.

When our citizens are abused or attacked anywhere in the world on direct orders of a hostile regime, we will respond so long as I’m in this Oval Office. Self defense is not only our right; it is our duty. It is the purpose behind the mission undertaken tonight, a mission fully consistent with Article 51 of the United Nations Charter.

He counted on America to be passive. He counted wrong.

There should be no place on earth where terrorists can rest and train and perfect their deadly skills. I meant it. I said that we would act with others if possible to ensure that terrorists have no sanctuary anywhere. Tonight, we have.

The differences don’t end there. The Obama administration has a high bar for what they consider “terrorism,” and the Taliban doesn’t qualify:

The Taliban is an armed insurgency, ISIL is a terrorist group. We don’t make concessions to terrorist groups.

That’s an important distinction to remember since the current President actually negotiated with the Taliban to free suspected military deserter Bowe Bergdahl.

ISLAMIC BARBARISM REACHES APEX: CHILDREN BEHEADED Very Graphic Images

This is from Joe For America.

This is the face of Islam this is the true Islam.

IF westerners believe that they have seen the worst that Islamic barbarism has on tap, well, good luck with your pipe dreams. In fact, what has already been executed in the name of Islam should simply be viewed as a foretaste.

SORRY to be the bearer of so much horrific news, but it is always better to be forewarned. Forearmed.

Commentary By Adina Kutnicki

{re-blogged at Islam Exposed}

IT is nigh impossible for a civilized society to wrap its conscience around continuous Islamic barbarism; whether it involves mass executions, hangings, beheading or related tortures of innocent…after innocent….and sans ANY let up!

BUT let’s cut to the chase: Muhammad, Islam’s messenger and prophet, was not exactly a good role model. You think? A wild and dangerous understatement.

NOW, whichever way Muslims attempt to Allah-wash his barbarism and criminality, rest assured, those who know better aren’t buying their pig-in-a-poke fairy tale. Yes, Muslims have zero interest in hearing the truth from anyone, let alone from a despised Jew, a female AND a Zionist to boot. A triple whammy. Too bad. Regardless, don’t blame the (truthful) messenger!

To know why Islam is a mortal danger one must not only consider the Koran but also the character of Muhammad, who conceived the Koran and the entirety of Islam.

The Koran is not just a book. Muslims believe that Allah himself wrote it and that it was dictated to Muhammad in the original version, the Umm al-Kitab, which is kept on a table in heaven. Consequently one cannot argue with the contents. Who would dare to disagree with what Allah himself has written? This explains much of Muhammadan behaviour, from the violence of jihad to the hatred and persecution of Jews, Christians and other non-Muslims and apostates. What we in the West regard as abnormal, is perfectly normal for Islam.

A second insuperable problem with Islam is the figure of Muhammad. He is not just anyone. He is al-insan al-kamil, the perfect man. To become a Muslim one must pronounce the Shahada (the Muslim creed). By pronouncing the Shahada one testifies that there is no god that can be worshipped except Allah, and one testifies that Muhammad is his servant and messenger.

The Koran, and hence Allah, lays down that Muhammad’s life must be imitated. The consequences of this are horrendous and can be witnessed on a daily basis.

There has been much analysis of Muhammad’s mental sanity. In spite of all the available research, it is rarely mentioned or debated. It is a taboo to discuss the true nature of the man whom one and a half billion Muslims around the world regard as a holy prophet and example to be followed. That taboo must be breached in the West, and here in the Netherlands.

Ali Sina is an Iranian ex-Muslim who established the organisation for apostates of Islam Faith Freedom International. In his latest book he posits that Muhammad is a narcissist, a pedophile, a mass murderer, a terrorist, a misogynist, a lecher, a cult leader, a madman, a rapist, a torturer, an assassin and a looter.  Sina has offered 50,000 dollars for the one who can prove otherwise. Nobody has claimed the reward as yet. And no wonder, as the description is based on the Islamic texts themselves, such as the hadiths, the descriptions of Muhammad’s life from testimonies of contemporaries.

The historical Muhammad was the savage leader of a gang of robbers from Medina. Without scruples they looted, raped and murdered. The sources describe orgies of savagery where hundreds of people’s throats were cut, hands and feet chopped off, eyes cut out, entire tribes massacred. An example is the extinction of the Jewish Kurayza tribe in Medina in 627. One of those who chopped off their heads was Muhammad. The women and children were sold as slaves. Confronted with the lunacy of Islamic terrorists today, it is not hard to find out where the lunacy comes from.

In Vienna the women’s rights activist Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff was recently sentenced to paying a fine for insulting a religion by calling Muhammad a pedophile. However, that is the truth. Numerous hadiths contain testimonies by Muhammad’s favorite wife, the child wife Aisha. Aisha literally says: “The prophet married me when I was six years old, and had intercourse with me when I was nine.”{read the whole thing}

AND for added context (read it a while back…highly recommend readers do the same) the following text is a very useful primer by Dr. Ali Sina – ‘Understanding Muhammad: The Psychobiography of Allah’s Prophet.’

NO sugar coating.
YET, it is imperative to stick to the truth meter, as discomfiting as it may be. As such, you all need to understand where the situation lies, particularly in relation to the kiddies. Did you know there are many across the Islamic world – but coming to a western venue, sooner than later – who are being groomed as “beheaders”? Pray tell, what parent(s) wouldn’t be proud to have a son/daughter capable of executing the “art” of decapitation? Alas, so stop obsessing…dreaming about your little ones growing up to become doctors, lawyers, accountants or (a personal favorite) engineers…there’s a new “vocation” to add to your parental wish list – head chopper! Moreover, think of all the tuition you will save, if you just switch your priorities eastward.

Amid cries of ‘Allah o Akbar’ (god is great), a young boy, barely 12 years old, lifts his machete and strikes at his victim who is lying on the ground, all tied up for the kill.

Waving a ‘V’ for victory sign with his right hand, the boy picks up the severed head and shows it around to the chants of applause from an audience gathered in a remote part of the region straddling the mountainous range which divides Pakistan and Afghanistan.

The performance in this chilling episode which may simply shock most people around the world, is the case of militant justice meted out to supposed traitors. It involves Al Qaeda and the Taliban slapping exemplary punishment to an individual suspected to be a spy for the government.

“This (boy) is a killing machine who has been indoctrinated from age nine and prepared for his act by the time he is 12″ says a Pakistani intelligence official who showed the video clip to CBS News as just one piece of evidence of Al Qaeda and the Taliban training young boys to become accomplished killers, even before they become teen-agers.

ADDING heft to the above, along comes a former ISIS monster (who knows why he gave this interview…who cares…) and he backed up the aforementioned:

A former Islamic State [IS] bodyguard of a notorious militant has revealed the depravity of the group’s actions in their battle to expand their self-proclaimed caliphate in Iraq and Syria.

The bodyguard of Saddam Jamal, named only as Abu Abdullah, told The Daily Telegraph about his time guarding Jamal in an exclusive interview.

The IS militant was formerly a drug dealer before joining the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and then defecting to IS.

His bodyguard spoke of a series of shocking incidents, including when Jamal forced a mother and father to watch as a fellow jihadist killed their children one at a time.

“Starting with a thirteen-year-old boy, they lined up the sons according to their height and beheaded them in that order,” said the bodyguard.

“Afterwards, they hung the boys’ heads on the door of the school the family had been hiding in.”

Abdullah was clear that, for Jamal, being a militant of IS was not about a higher calling but to obtain more power.

“There are, of course, some who really believe that killing and whipping is the correctway to spread Islam,” he told The Daily Telegraph.

“But for Jamal, he doesn’t really care if the mission spreads Islam. All he cares about is becoming more powerful. Now, if a stronger organisation emerges, he will join it. And there are lots of men in Isil just like him.”

Force, fear and hypocrisy

Abdullah said that Jamal would copy his fellow “emirs” in IS and control their territory through force, fear and hypocrisy.

“They kidnap and carry out assassinations,” he said. “They think nothing of bringing down a whole building with women and children inside, just to kill oneperson.

“A lot of their local and foreign fighters smoke but if they ever catch a civilian doing the same they lock him up, whip him and force them into community service. Why thedouble standards?”

It is now believed that Jamal is second in command for IS’ military affairs, only behind the Chechen “Ginger Jihadist” Abu Omar al-Shishani.

When Jamal was a member of the FSA and the Supreme Military Council that was receiving US funding in Syria, his base in the Deir al-Zour province was attacked by IS, which sent him into hiding.

He next appeared in a video where he pledged allegiance to IS and denounced the FSA fighters as “apostates”.

“Isil blew up Jamal’s house killing one of his brothers. They kidnapped another brother and killed him too. After that Jamal disappeared,” said Abdullah.

The bodyguard’s final, shocking tale was of another “emir”, named Abu Abdullah al-Qahtani, who used his eight-year-old son to slit the throat of a rival captured by the group.

“He [al-Qahtani] held his son’s hand with a knife in it and made him cut the head of an FSA fighter accused of organising attacks on Isil [another name for IS],” he said.

“It would take days to recount to you the violence I witnessed.”

EARTH shaking. Mind blowing. Numbing…and all the rest…

AGREED, there are Muslims who are horrified by the slaughters committed in the name of their religion, but they are hardly in the majority. At the very least, they are, for the most part, complicit in their silence. Not only that, but their end goal is the same; the resurrection of the Caliphate.

IN this regard, whether Sunni, Shia or another minority Islamic tribe/sect, the fact of the matter is that they will join hands (even though they historically war against each other for hegemony) when the Caliphate is “at the ready”. As such, Iran’s Shia, now battling ISIS, will lay down its arms for their Islamic dream to come true. Don’t ever doubt this.

SIMILARLY, as the Caliphate comes closer to fruition, the blood letting against the west will reach its apex, and this juncture in time will appear as a “tranquil” period. But if you don’t believe this investigative journalist, suit yourself. However, what should be considered more than food for thought is offered up from a recent speech given by Brig. Gen. (ret.) Ken Chrosniak, a former member of the USA Joint Chiefs of Staff. He noted that Iran already has nuclear capability – but not on a large scale – and went on to add:

In the future, Iran will be complicit with ISIS […] to establish, or re-establish, the Caliphate,” he added. “That’s their goal: to re-establish the Caliphate and take out all infidels.”

AND not to rain on this patriot’s well-earned parade, but this same analysis – re the “joining of hands” between ISIS et al./Sunni and Shia/Iran – was addressed in an interview (Oct. 2013) ‘The Muslim Brotherhood’s Quest For Global Dominance – An Interview With Adina Kutnicki.’

Wolff Bachner: Adina, the Jewish people and Israel have been vilified as enemies of Islam for 1400 years. Since this is a centuries old conflict, why should Americans care about Israel’s problems, the Muslim Brotherhood or Adnan Oktar?

Adina Kutnicki: Readers, one and all, relating as an American-Israeli, as someone who loves her birth country as well as her Jewish homeland, there is NO greater danger to western civilization than the Muslim Brotherhood and all its attendant jihadi offshoots. Indeed, the Iranian menace, through its Hitlerite regime, looms very large overhead, and they too are arming for nothing more than complete Islamic hegemony. Yes, once either, heaven forbid, prevails, they will merge forces (Sunni and Shia, after which they will fight each other for ultimate hegemony, as they have done for centuries) and aim straight for the west’s jugular. But whatever shakes out, the Brotherhood’s umbrella – spanning all over the globe – is Allah-bent on bringing down America. Rest assured, they are well positioned to do so, having many friends ensconced within President Obama’s White House. The situation is dire. If America falls, so too does the free world. Ditto, if Israel is, G-d forbid, destroyed. There is no room for equivocating. Like it or not, the two are twin pillars. They are, in effect, holding up western civilization…..

LESSONS LEARNED: every time you hear Muslims and their apologists wax poetic, yes, Islam is a “religion of peace”, keep uppermost in mind two symbiotic factors: the barbarism they wage across the world (in the name of Islam) is endemic to the life and dictates of Muhammad; Muhammadanism. There is no betwixt and between. Muslims worship and emulate Muhammad as Islam’s prophet and role model. Only by understanding him can one know what makes them explode; as they rape, pillage, plunder and awash the world in oceans of blood to satiate Muhammad’s directives to “honor” Allah!

SCHOOL’S out…

Grieving Afghan mother takes bloody revenge by killing 25 Taliban militants during seven hour battle after they gunned down her son

This is from The U. K. Daily Mail.

Sounds like these 25 will not get their virgins because they were killed by women.

Reza Gul looked on as the militants attacked her son’s police checkpoint

Flanked by her daughter and daughter in law she led the fightback

The Taliban remains tight lipped about the attack

A grieving Afghan mother took bloody revenge on the Taliban militants who gunned down her son, killing 25 and injuring five of them during a seven hour gun battle.

Reza Gul watched helplessly as her son died while he manned a village checkpoint with his small team of police officers in the lawless Farah province.

But flanked by her daughter and daughter-in-law, she led a counter strike on his attackers killing 25 militants and wounding another five during a ferocious seven hour gun battle.

‘I couldn’t stop myself and picked up a weapon,’ Gul told TOLO News. ‘I went to the check post and began shooting back.’

Her daughter-in-law Seema added: ‘The fighting was intensified when we reached the battlefield along with light and heavy weapons. We were committed to fight until the last bullet.’

She added that the combats zone was strewn with Taliban bodies when the fighting was over.

A spokesman for the Afghanistan’s Ministry of Interior told the agency it was a symbol of a public uprising.

The Taliban is yet to comment about the incident.

Alongside other insurgent groups, the Taliban have escalated attacks across the country since the withdrawal of most of the US led forces from the country last month.

Targeting, government, security and foreign installations, especially in the country’s capital Kabul, members of the public have also been caught in the crossfire.

Obama’s latest NATO comments: 6 piles of bovine excrement

This is from Allen B. West.

I’m listening to President Barack Hussein Obama read more empty rhetoric and here is my assessment during his NATO press conference as he shoveled it on.

1. He stated that NATO’s “combat” mission in Afghanistan will end in three months — I hope they sent the memo to the Taliban and got their consent. Obama just doesn’t seem to understand the enemy has a vote, and they are not disrupted, defeated, and certainly not destroyed – we’re just quitting again.

2. He stated we’ll defend every NATO ally — he should have expressed how, because Obama’s decision to cancel the missile defense shield sent a very telling message to Eastern Europe and Vladimir Putin.

3. Obama committed to a NATO rapid response force — what forces? I served in 1984-1987 in the NATO Allied Mobile Force (Land) which was comprised of several National Airborne units — mine was based out of Vicenza Italy. Obama is cutting our U.S. military – funny, since he stated that all NATO member countries agreed to a 2 percent of GDP increase in military spending — he ain’t doing it!

4. Obama committed unyielding support to Ukraine and its sovereignty — well, kinda late since Russia has the Crimea and is building a land bridge through eastern Ukraine as well. Obama said support to Ukraine will be via non-lethal support. But in case he hasn’t read his intel briefs, Russian military forces have invaded Ukraine and are using LETHAL force — hence why Ukrainian leader Poroshenko has succumbed to a cease fire. Yes, Russia realizes there are consequences to its actions – which is why Putin continues to advance, as no one is stopping him.

So my assessment from President Obama’s NATO press conference is just more bovine excrement that upon review makes no sense. I’m listening to the question and answer portion and it’s just painful to listen to Obama without a teleprompter or prepared words. Oh wait, there’s another couple piles.

5. He said we’re going to degrade and defeat, or is it destroy ISIS just like, he claims, we did al-Qaida — who by the way is establishing itself in the Indian subcontinent. Our enemies are laughing at us as long as we keep putting this charlatan on a stage.

6. Oh – and Obama just came up with another new word — we must dismantle them. So which one is it Mr. President — destroy, defeat, disrupt, or dismantle? However, we won’t be placing U.S. forces on the ground — he keeps telling our enemy what he is not willing to do.

Folks, Obama has no clue – or he’s following his grand plan. Either way, it ain’t good.

Six Weeks After Controversial Taliban Trade, Sgt. Bergdahl Returning To Active Duty

This is from Independent Journal Review.

Why is it this man is not in the stockade waiting to be court-martialled?

Or at least under house arrest while the investigation is complete.

Sadly, I look for the story will to get pushed out of the headlines by the illegals crossing the border then be forgotten.

Since being released from five years in Taliban captivity six weeks ago, Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl has undergone debriefings, therapy and counseling at an Army hospital. And now, the Army has deemed Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl ready to return to active duty.

He became internationally known after five senior Taliban members were traded for his release, and his time in Afghanistan has been called into question by his former platoon-mates.

But despite the vocal calls for a court martial, Bergdahl will be taking a job at the Army North headquarters at Fort Sam Houston, according to The New York Times.

He is also expected to meet with Maj. Gen. Kenneth R. Dahl, the officer who is investigating the circumstances of Sergeant Bergdahl’s disappearance from his outpost in Afghanistan in 2009.

Sergeant Bergdahl’s transfer from the therapy phase to a regular soldier’s job is part of his reintegration into Army life, officials said. He will live in barracks and have two other soldiers help him adjust.

This move will no doubt raise some questions and possibly from anger from the media and from fellow soldiers. We can only hope the Administration is not brushing the controversial trade under the rug.

ISIS DESTROYS ANTIQUITIES Tomb of Jonah smashed with sledge hammers

This is from Alex Jones’ InfoWars.

These are the animals liberals want us to coexist with.

They can not even coexist with the different segments of their own cult of death.

These animals want to die for their heathen god, I am willing to help them meet that goal.

Masked demolishers destroyed the tomb of Jonah in Mosul with sledge hammers.

The Kharijite fanatics masquerading as Sunni Muslims who have temporarily established a caliphate in Iraq and Syria are now destroying religious antiquities. The Islamic State attack on the holy sites of other religions is reminiscent of the Taliban destruction of 2,000 year old Buddha statues in Afghanistan’s Bamiyan valley in 2001.

The CIA and Saudi Arabia supported the Wahhabist Taliban and have backed the Kharijite IS, formerly ISIS. The U.S. military trained IS terrorists in the art of killing people and blowing things up. The Afghan Mujahideen, many who would ultimately form the Taliban, picked up their sabotage and murder skills at the CIA’s spy training camp in Virginia.

The adherents of Kharijite Wahhabism in the Islamic state share with the Taliban an extreme interpretation of Islamic sharia law that regards all depictions of people and animals as idolatry. The Taliban Committee for the Propagation of Virtue and Prevention of Vice roamed Afghanistan destroying art. It destroyed a large number of artworks in the National Museum in Kabul.

“During five years in power, the Taliban banned nearly the entire spectrum of creativity and performance – including clapping – and destroyed an estimated 80 percent of Afghani cultural heritage, from religious relics to film reels,” notes Colors Magazine.

“By destroying Shia holy sites, ISIS hopes to erase Shia culture from the regions they control and also provoke a response from Iraq’s Shia, which will in turn drive more Sunnis to supporting ISIS,” explains Near East scholar Christopher Jones.

In addition to destroying Shia and Sufi mosques and tombs in its captured territory, the Islamic State has vowed to eradicate important archaeological sites, declaring it “will destroy them and say the Iraqi army bombed these sites.”

Shia mosque in Mosul is destroyed by IS demolition. Photo: Twitter

The area around Mosul where the ISIS land grab began is home to 1,791 registered archeological sites, including four capitals of the Assyrian empire. The city is site to numerous Old Testament biblical battles and, according to Jewish and Christian tradition, was founded by the great grandson of Noah, Nimrod.

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the Caliph with a $6,000 James Bond watch knock-off, went out of his way to visit the Mosul Museum. His henchmen told museum staff the ancient statues there are “against Islam” and vowed to return. The “caliphate’s gauleiters issued a city charter and declared in its Article 13 that ‘false idols’ would have to be destroyed,” Christopher Dickey wrote on Monday.

The IS fanatics have set the bar high. Not only have they announced their intention to destroy all religious and non-religious artwork in Iraq and Syria, but also in Saudi Arabia.

“If Allah wills, we will kill those who worship stones in Mecca and destroy the Kaaba. People go to Mecca to touch the stones, not for Allah,” ISIS member Abu Turab Al Mugaddasi vowed on Twitter last month.

The Kaaba is the most sacred point within the most sacred mosque of Islam, the al-Masjid al-Haram in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

Muslims consider Jonah a prophet. “One should not say that I am better than Jonah,” Muhammad declared, according to the Sahih al-Bukhari, one of six major hadith collections of Sunni Islam.

Bergdahl has not yet been asked why he left Afghan base: U.S. Army

This is from Jihad Watch.

Obama is keeping the Deserter Breghdahl off the radar.

The Deserter Bergdahl needs  to be charged with Desretion, Treason find him guilty on all charges then shot.

Let the soldiers from his platoon be part of the firing squad.

With all the allegations that he deserted and voluntarily sought out the Taliban, and the claims that he converted to Islam and was aiding in the Taliban’s jihad, this would seem to be an important question. But of course, Army officials don’t want to upset the poor lamb.

“Bergdahl has not yet been asked why he left Afghan base: U.S. Army,” Reuters, June 25, 2014 (thanks to Kenneth):

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl has made no admission of wrongdoing since being released by the Taliban last month, officials said on Wednesday, adding that he has yet to be asked the tough question of why he left base before his 2009 capture.

Army officials said the two-star general investigating Bergdahl’s disappearance in Afghanistan will seek to bring up that subject with the soldier sometime after his outpatient treatment in Texas is finished in about two weeks and before the expected completion of the Army’s probe in mid-August.

In the meantime, Bergdahl seems to be in a state of limbo, with much of his back pay frozen in a military account. He hasn’t been read his rights yet, although conversations that could be used against him have focused on what happened during his time in captivity, as opposed to anything prior, officials said.

Asked about reports that Bergdahl may have colluded with the Taliban, an Army official told reporters on condition of anonymity: “I have no knowledge of that particular speculation or of anything that has come out of the briefings to support that.”

Whatever Bergdahl might say about his disappearance would have vast implications for him, including potential military punishment but also practical matters such as back pay.

Officials caution on Wednesday that his duty status as a “missing/captured” soldier, which entitles him to back pay and special benefits, could be lost if any misconduct is determined.

“There is some pay that is being held right now, pending the outcome of the investigation,” a second Army official said at a briefing with Pentagon reporters, acknowledging that the funds were in “contention now because of his duty status.”…
