(SPLOST 4) – My Fellow Citizens Voted to Steal Money from Me

This is from Godfather Politics.

Not only have the low information voters in Cobb County,Ga.

voted to steal from their friends and neighbors.

Low information voters nation wide have voted twice to

steal from their friends and neighbors.

Be very afraid of stupid people voting in large numbers.

SPLOST4

On Tuesday of this week, there was a referendum (SPLOST 4) on raising taxes to fund Public Schools in our county. My wife and I voted no for the simple reason that the government has no business taking money from us to pay for the education of other people’s children.

Our children never went to a government school and yet we’ve paid property taxes for more than 30 years to fund these schools. More than $60,000. In addition to paying these forced taxes, we paid for private school tuition and went without many things because of the extra costs.

Here’s how the Marietta Daily Journal reported the story:

“Those in favor of SPLOST [Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax] IV were thrilled with the overwhelming support they received at the polls Tuesday.
“Voters approved $773.3 million for Cobb and Marietta school districts to be raised through a 1-cent special sales tax between Jan. 1, 2014, and Dec. 31, 2018.
“‘My cheeks are a little sore from smiling so much, said John Loud, the co-chair of the pro-SPLOST group United 4 Kids, shortly after the tax got a large push from the ‘yes’ votes.”

“United 4 Your Kids,” Mr. Loud, but not for my kids and grandchildren. You and your government-school supporters worked day and night to get people to the polls to steal from your fellow-citizens to pay for a service for which they should be paying full price.

By the way, the “overwhelming support” for SPLOST 4 was 9.6 percent of eligible voters casting ballots. 23,248 people voted for the tax increase. There are 14,027 full-time school employees in Cobb County. Which way do you think they voted? Add in parents who are getting a discount education because I and other residents are helping to fund their children’s education, and you can see why so many people vote for government programs at the expense of others. How are these voters any different from liberal voters who want other people taxed so they can receive the benefits?

This part really got me: “Loud, along with about 75 other voters in support of the initiative, spent their election night at a party at Willie Rae’s on the Marietta Square watching the results roll in on their computers.”

I wonder how much they spent at Willie Rae’s in celebration of the heist they just pulled off.

Mr. Loud will probably say, “Well, that’s Democracy buddy.”

So if my wife and I stole from our neighbors to help pay the tuition to the schools where we sent our children that would be a crime. If my wife and I got enough people to vote on a measure that said that the citizens of our county have to cough up money to pay for private education, would that be OK?

Mr. Loud and other government school advocates would obviously say no. People shouldn’t be required to pay for someone else’s education. Exactly! Especially when the people being forced to pay may not agree with what’s being taught in these non-government schools. They would also ask why they should pay for schools where their children don’t attend. And I would agree.

If Cobb County, Georgia, and the city of Marietta need money for their overrated schools, then the people who send their children there should do the paying.

People who send their children to government schools that are paid for with confiscated money are committing fraud through government action. Their children are getting an education at a discount at the expense of others.

Not only that . . . their children are being corrupted by an educational system that is purposefully socialistic.

Dear Ron Paul/ Gary Johnson Voter Guy: I Told You So

This is from Clash Daily.

Not only did these voters cut their own throats they stabbed america in the back.

The non voters have stabbed America in the back also.

Shame on the whole friggen bunch of you.

How about giving up your American citizenship and moving to Cuba.

A few weeks before the election this columnist made an impassioned plea to those who would seek to support Gary Johnson or Ron Paul based upon principles. I tried to warn you of what was to come and, instead of open minds, I found insults and repudiation from people who claim to be the most open minded in politics.

It brings me no joy to be the one to have to say this but: all of you have cut your own throats and I told you so. We had one chance to put the brakes on this huge socialist nanny state that is flying at us like a runaway truck. Instead you chose to follow so misguided a principle and protest what you felt was a slap in the face from the Republican Party. Since you seem to not understand what has happened yet, I thought I would explain it to you. As in most things, now that it is too late you will probably hear me out.

When you chose to either not show up or vote for Gary Johnson you doomed your movement to failure and this is not a speculation, rather an indisputable fact. When I spoke on this topic just weeks before the election I mentioned several things that were going to destroy your movement and they have now all been set into motion.

The biggest points that must be addressed are the Supreme Court appointments, Obamacare and demography. These three points that you ignored in your decision this November actually turned out to be the noose around the libertarian movement.

There are several justices over the age of seventy, four to be exact. Although they will most likely not all retire during President Obama’s stay in Washington, more than likely two or more will. This means that the Supreme Court will go liberal for the next two decades or so. Now the justices who retire will likely be liberals, however liberals of the last two decades are nothing like the radicals that will be placed on the bench by the most radical Marxists president we have ever seen. In short, any hope of the right using the courts for anything is over. By allowing Obama to win reelection you have ended any hope of abortion bans, state’s rights, gay marriage bans and second amendment protection; good luck fighting Washington without the high court.

Obamacare is no longer a nightmare. Thanks to you it is now a reality that all of us will live with, pay for and suffer under. Your goals were to reign in government and cut down on governmental intrusion. These are worthy goals and I commend you for them but, by allowing your pride to insert itself in your voting, you have destroyed any possibility of this.

There has never been a governmental entitlement program that has been done away with once it goes into effect. Once you give this leaching segment of America their goodies, you can never stop. Your movement will never put a person in any office if they talk about getting rid of people’s “free healthcare.” You are quickly going to become known as a fringe group of crazies who have no serious solutions. This is sad considering, just a few short months ago, you were gaining ground and people were listening to your message. In another four years yours will not even be a rational line of thinking.

Finally there is demography. There is a famous quote that has often been attributed to many people so I am not overly sure who to credit it to. However, this makes it no less true. The quote is, “Demography is destiny.” I think we have seen this more in the last election than any other time in American history.

I hear Republicans all over the country talking about how we must court the Latino vote by relaxing our stance on illegal immigration. They seem to think that we are going to have a choice. Barack Obama is going to open the flood gates and we are going to see a demographics change in this country on a Biblical level.

Do you think all of these new Americans are going to vote for your guy while you take away their government goodies? I, for one, will never be okay with people invading our sovereignty and making a mockery of our laws. I don’t care if it would actually get us votes, which is a fantasy by the way. You have allowed a man into office that is going to continue to fill the United States with immigrants for no other reason than to ensure his party’s dominance into the century.

Basically I know this is harsh and I regret that it has to be. I just felt like this needed to be said. The Republican Party is on the ropes and I refuse to follow the party line and try to become the new softer Republicans. I guess this makes me one of the last conservative gunslingers. I am okay with that. Much like those brave men at the Alamo, I would rather die for my principles and never win another election than to live without them just for the sake of winning elections.

So, that being said, I am sorry for all of you that came so close to such massive reforms and a successful movement. Maybe in a hundred years or so people will look at the progress you made and avoid the missteps you have taken. Until then we are all in for a ride through a socialist hellhole for the foreseeable future. It’s not all your fault but I do want to acknowledge the blame that you and those like you shoulder in what could have been the biggest mistake in American history.

Sincerely,
The Last Conservative Gunslinger

Trumka Promises More than 2,000 Union ‘Poll Monitors’ in Battleground States

This is from CNSNews.

These union goons will cause voter intimidation and voter suppression.

States should treat these thugs like the U.N.observers and arrest them if need be.

But sadly states like Ohio are intimidated by these union thugs.

We need to break these thugs strangle hold on companies and states.

(CNSNews.com) – AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka said his unions plan to have 2,000 “poll monitors” in states such as Ohio, who will be linked with lawyers around the country as a way to prevent voter suppression.

During a media conference call on Thursday, Trumka recalled being at an early voting site in Las Vegas where he saw “challengers inside,” and said AFL-CIO will have poll monitor “rapid response teams” at voting sites.

“We’re going to have over 2,000 people that are going to be available as poll monitors that’ll be connected to a number of lawyers around the country. So that if they [the opposition] attempt to deny them the right to vote, or hassle them we’ll be able to have a rapid response team that will respond immediately to that and protect them,” Trumka said.

“That will be up in the core states like Ohio where we think there could be problems and so we’ll challenge those everywhere we can and protect the votes,” he said.

Trumka said AFL-CIO has a call-in number for voters to report instances of voter suppression.

“We’re encouraging people to report any problems to our 1866-OUR-VOTE number,” he said. “We want to ensure that working family voters know how to get information about elections in their state as well as who to call if they have trouble on Election Day.”

Also on the call was AFL-CIO Political Director Michael Podhorzer, who along with Trumka discussed AFL-CIO’s final campaign efforts leading up to Election Day, particularly in battleground states such as Ohio.

Florida Republican Party leader receives hoax letter; FBI investigates

This is from WKMG Local 6 Orlando.

This is frightening that this letter is being sent.

How many more attempts at voter intimidation is happening?

Ladies and Gentlemen this election could be determined by voter fraud.

TAMPA, Fla.

The FBI is joining an investigation into bogus letters sent to many Florida residents, including the Republican Party of Florida chairman, that raise questions about their eligibility to vote.

FBI officials said Wednesday the FBI will focus on letters received by voters in 18 counties in central and southwest Florida.

According to the Republican Party of Florida, Chairman Lenny Curry received one of the fake letters on Tuesday.

“This type of activity is not only disgusting, it is criminal, and must be prosecuted to the full extent of the law,” Curry said in a release.  “I call on Florida Democrats to join me in condemning this false letter writing campaign that appears to target likely voters in Florida, and help RPOF get the word out about this false campaign.”

Local 6 first reported the bogus letter scam on Monday, which claim to be from county supervisors of elections but are postmarked from Seattle. They raise questions about the voter’s citizenship and appear intended to intimidate people.

The FBI says voters who get a letter should contact their supervisor of elections and then keep the letter for the FBI.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is also investigating.

Election Watchdog: 160 Counties Have More Registered Voters Than are Actually Eligible to Vote

This is from The Blaze.

How much if any of this problem be fixed?

This will make for an interesting election.

A nonpartisan election integrity group has sent legal notices to 160 counties across the U.S. that it says have more voters on its registration rolls than actual live, eligible voters — and thus represent potential hotbeds for election fraud, the organization told The Blaze exclusively.

The Houston-based True the Vote said the counties may be in violation of Section 8 of the National Voter Registration Act, which mandates that election officials maintain clean voter rolls by removing people who have died, moved away or are no longer eligible to vote. True the Vote is demanding each of the counties show proof of compliance or they’ll bring civil suit.

The counties in question are spread across 19 states that together account for 203 electoral college votes, including six current battleground states. Among the counties are LaSalle, Ill., which True the Vote identified as having 520 percent voter registration; Jefferson, Miss. with more than 230 percent; and Hanson, S.D. with 165 percent.

“It’s simply unacceptable for any county to have more voters on its rolls than people who are alive and eligible to vote,” True the Vote President Catherine Engelbrecht said in a statement. “Failing to maintain accurate voter registration records is a flagrant violation of Section 8 in the NVRA.”

True the Vote identified the county irregularities by matching 2010 Census data to publicly available information from the bipartisan Election Assistance Commission.

“We are deeply concerned by our discovery of voter rolls across America that contain substantial numbers of ineligible voters, possibly resulting in the disenfranchisement of eligible voters and the subversion of our nation’s electoral process,” the letters to the counties state.

True the Vote spokesman Logan Churchwell told The Blaze the notices were sent last week. He said True the Vote expects the counties to take proper action to clean their voter rolls well before Election Day in November.

“We don’t expect these to go ignored,”  Churchwell said.

True the Vote filed a joint lawsuit against the state of Indiana with the conservative foundation Judicial Watch in June, alleging similar violations of the National Voter Registration Act.

Top 12 Reasons

A big hat tip to Odie for this list.

Top 12 Reasons….A List That Explains Most Everything

*When people cannot explain why they voted for Democrats, give them this list. They can then pick their reasons from this “TOP-12″…*

1. I voted Democrat because I believe oil companies’ profits
of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene, but the government
taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn’t.
2. I voted Democrat because I believe the government will
do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.
3. I voted Democrat because Freedom of Speech is fine as
long as nobody is offended by it.
4. I voted Democrat because I’m way too irresponsible to
own a gun, and I know that my local police are all I need to
protect me from murderers and thieves.
5. I voted Democrat because I believe that people who can’t
tell us if it will rain on Friday can tell us that the polar ice
caps will melt away in ten years if I don’t start driving a Prius.
6. I voted Democrat because I’m not concerned about millions
of babies being aborted so long as we keep all death row
inmates alive.
7. I voted Democrat because I think illegal aliens have a
right to free health care, education, and Social Security
benefits at my expense.
8. I voted Democrat because I believe that business should
not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to
break even and give the rest away to the government for
redistribution as the Democrats see fit.
9. I voted Democrat because I believe liberal judges need
to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some
fringe kooks who would never get their agendas past the voters.
10. I voted Democrat because I think that it’s better to pay
billions to people who hate us for their oil, but not drill our own
because it might upset some endangered beetle or gopher.
11. I voted Democrat because while we live in the greatest,
most wonderful country in the world, I was promised
“HOPE AND CHANGE”.
12. I voted Democrat because my head is so firmly planted

up my ASS it’s unlikely that I’ll ever have another point of view.
