Obama Shakes Raúl Castro’s Hand

This is from The Weekly Standard.

Mandela managed as his last action got all of his fellow

Communists together.

Obama fit in with all of the Communist despots and

was eager to shake their hands.

It looks like Obama bowed slightly to Castro.

At Nelson Mandela‘s memorial service today in Johannesburg, South Africa, President Obama shook hands with Raúl Castro:

“Castro, he’s shaking hands with Raúl Castro,” said an excited Christiane Amanpour.

“As Christiane points out, President Obama just shook hands with Raúl Castro from Cuba,” Chris Cuomo explained.

Amanpour says of Mandela, “This is a man, it is so true, who brought people together in life and he continues to bring people together today.”

Man Spends 4.5 Hours on Obamacare Hotline But Still Can’t Sign Up

This is from The Weekly Standard.

We know this is just the tip of the iceberg.

The Obamacare horror stories will just keep coming.

Yesterday in the Rose Garden, President Obama touted the Obamacare hotline and recommended people call to sign up for Obamacare. “[T]he point is the call centers are available,” Obama said, sounding as though he were in the middle of an infomercial. “You can talk to somebody directly and they can walk you through the application process.”

The president of the United States would add, “Once you get on the phone with a trained representative, it usually takes about 25 minutes for an individual to apply for coverage, about 45 minutes for a family. Once you apply for coverage, you will be contacted by email or postal mail about your coverage status.”

But ABC News found a man who has spent 4.5 hours on the Obamacare hotline — and he still hasn’t been able to sign up for Obamacare.

Yesterday alone, that man spent 1.5 hours on the phone trying to sign up. But continued to have no luck.

ABC says he’s tried using the website — for 5 hours — and even live chatted with Obamacare representative — for something like 3 hours. But nothing seems to be working for the man.

How many businesses will face a million dollar bill

or more for Obamacare?

How many mom and pop businesses will fold?

How many jobs will be lost?

KSAT in San Antonio reports that a local businessman faces a $1 million Obamacare bill:

“We’re hopeful that it’s not that high, but we’re looking at somewhere around $1 million,” says the business owner.

Sharpton: ‘Slap in the Face to Those Who Believe in Justice in This Country’

This is from The Weekly Standard.

Al what trial were you watching?

You sure as Hell were not watching the Zimmerman trial.

What testimony or evidence made Zimmerman a liar?

Every thing I heard made you the prosecutor and other

race baiters the liars.

Sadly we have a race baiter as Attorney General as well as

a race baiter and hustler as President.

The atrocity and slap in the face of justice race baiting pigs

like you and Jessie Jackson can lie and stir up mobs.

‘Atrocity … A sad day in the country.’

Rev. Al Sharpton blasted the jury’s verdict in the George Zimmerman trial tonight on MSNBC:

“Well, I think that this is an atrocity,” said Sharpton. “I think that it is probably one of the worst situations that I’ve seen. What this jury has done is establish a precedent that when you are young and fit a certain profile, you can be committing no crime, just bringing some Skittles and iced tea home to your brother, and be killed and someone can claim self-defense having been exposed with all kinds of lies, all kinds of inconsistencies. … Even at trial when he is exposed over and over again as a liar, he is acquitted. This is a sad day in the country. I think that we clearly must move on to the next step in terms of the federal government and in terms of the civil courts. Clearly, we want people to be disciplined, strategic. But this is a slap in the face to those that believe in justice in this country.”

The Obama Family Trip to Africa to Cost $60 to $100 Million

This is from The Weekly Standard.

When does Obama ever work as President?

He is either on the campaign trail fund raising or Obama

and Moochelle and children take separate vacations.

Costing the tax payers millions of dollars.

President Obama and his family will be going to Africa later this month. But the trip won’t be cheap; it’s expected to cost American taxpayers $60 to $100 million, according to the Washington Post.

“When President Obama makes his first extended trip to sub-Saharan Africa later this month, the federal agencies charged with keeping him safe won’t be taking any chances. Hundreds of U.S. Secret Service agents will be dispatched to secure facilities in Senegal, South Africa and Tanzania. A Navy aircraft carrier or amphibious ship, with a fully staffed medical trauma center, will be stationed offshore in case of emergency,” reports the Post.

“Military cargo planes will airlift in 56 support vehicles, including 14 limousines and three trucks loaded with sheets of bullet-proof glass to cover the windows of the hotels where the first family will stay. Fighter jets will fly in shifts giving 24-hour coverage over the president’s airspace so they can intervene quickly if an errant plane gets too close.

“The extraordinary security provisions — which will cost the government tens of millions of dollars — are outlined in a confidential internal planning document obtained by The Washington Post. While the preparations appear to be in line with similar travels in the past, the document offers an unusual glimpse into the colossal efforts to protect the U.S. commander-in-chief on trips abroad.”

After the paper questioned the costs of a planned family safari, the White House nixed the plan. “The president and first lady had also planned to take a Tanzanian safari as part of the trip, which would have required the president’s special counter-assault team to carry sniper rifles with high-caliber rounds that could neutralize cheetahs, lions or other animals if they became a threat, according to the planning document. But the White House canceled the safari on Wednesday following inquiries from The Washington Post about the trip’s purpose and expense, according to a person familiar with the decision.”

The paper adds, “Obama’s trip could cost the federal government $60 million to $100 million based on the costs of similar African trips in recent years, according to one person familiar with the journey who was not authorized to speak for attribution. The Secret Service planning document, which was provided to The Post by a person who is concerned about the amount of resources necessary for the trip, does not specify costs.”

Carney: I.R.S. Run By Bush Political Appointee

This is from The Weekly Standard.

Well I am shocked Obama‘s mouth piece would actually

blame George W.Bush for any thing.

Dodges lighting bolt.

As we all know everything is George W.Bush’s fault.

White House spokesman Jay Carney said, in response to a question about the I.R.S. targeting conservative groups, that the I.R.S. is run by a George W. Bush political appointee:

“I.R.S. is an independent enforcement agency,” said Carney. “The — which I believe, as I understand it, contains only two political appointees within it. The individual who is running the I.R.S. at the time was actually an appointee from the previous administration.”

The previous administration was George W. Bush’s administration.

Joe’s ‘Bidenisms’ turning creepy with ‘snake in the bed’ comment

This is from BizPac Review.

Slow Joe Biden makes the village idiot look like a brain surgeon.

Put him a glass display case suck out the oxygen the put him

on display as the only person to live with out a brain.

The vice president’s off-kilter and often off-color “Bidenisms” have become so commonplace during the last four years that few bother listening any longer. But several he made Wednesday night are causing people to take note and wonder how the heck his mind works — or if it works at all.

Biden spoke at a Washington, D.C. fundraiser that was co-chaired by his daughter, Kathleen, and hosted by the Volunteer Lawyers Project. The subject was abused women.

There were no cameras present, but according to the Weekly Standard, the pool report noted that:

VP Biden began his remarks by praising Kathleen for the passion she brings to the cause. He described his initial push for VAWA [Violence Against Women Act] in the early 90s, when “nobody thought very much of it,” including women’s groups. Biden singled out D.C. delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton for her help in getting it passed — and gave a plug to D.C. having equal representation in Congress.

He followed this up with a “normal” Bidenism. The pool report noted, “’By the way, there should be two senators from the state of D.C.,’ he said to hoots and hollers.”

Other than the fact that the District of Columbia is not a state, the Weekly Standard noted that with President Obama having picked up 91.4 percent of the vote in the 2012 election, were it to become one, it would be represented solely by the Democratic party.

But after this, the vice president delivered what Twitchy called his “creepiest Bidenism yet.”

Commenting on women coming of age, he said, “When they’re 12 to 14, a dad puts his beautiful little daughter to bed. And then the next morning, there’s a snake in the bed.”

Some days I think I would love to know what goes around in Biden’s head and how it operates. Other days I realize I’m better off not knowing — if I did, it would probably scare the hell out of me.

Congress Prepares $100 Million Bipartisan Flu Tax

This is from The Weekly Standard.

New taxes being considered on again.

This tax is in addition to the Obamacare taxes.

Is this purpose of this tax ti discourage people from

getting flu shots ?

Congress is preparing to take action on a bipartisan proposal to raise taxes on flu vaccines. This is not a tax on the wealthy, but rather on a broad swath of Americans, or at least those who choose to be immunized against the flu.

In February, identical bills were introduced in the House and Senate to add seasonal flu vaccines to the IRS code as taxable. The legislation would exact a 75¢ per dose tax on any “vaccine against seasonal influenza.

” Given that the Centers for Disease Control projects that 135 million doses of flu vaccine will be used this year, the government’s take on flu vaccines alone is over $100,000,000 per year.

Along with taxes on other vaccines, this tax would fund the Vaccine Injury Compensation Trust Fund.  The fund is a “no-fault alternative to the traditional tort system for resolving vaccine injury claims that provides compensation to people found to be injured by certain vaccines.”

However, the fund is by no means in the same kind of trouble that other government “trust funds” are.

The balance in the fund (as of November 2012) was more than $3.5 billion. Since the program’s inception in 1988, the fund has paid out only $2.5 billion in 25 years for cases involving all vaccines, not just the flu vaccine.

This means the balance in the fund could conceivably last another 25 years with no further tax revenue.

The House bill (H.R. 475) was submitted on February 4, by Republican Jim Gerlach with Democrat Richard Neal co-sponsoring, and the Senate version (S. 391) was submitted by Democrat Max Baucus and co-sponsor Republican Orrin Hatch.

The same legislation had been introduced in the 112th Congress just months ago.  The House version died in committee, but the Senate version actually passed by unanimous consent the day it was introduced.

Now, a posting on the Senate website reports that the Senate has reached an agreement on the current legislation. Although this flu season is winding down now, the tax could easily be in place by next winter if the House follows suit and the president signs it:

The Senate reached an agreement that if the Senate receives H.R.475 from the House of Representatives and the bill is identical to the text of which is at the desk, then the bill be read three times and the Senate proceed to a vote, at a time to be determined by the Majority Leader in consultation with the Minority Leader, with no intervening action or debate. H.R.475, a bill to amend the internal Revenue Code of 1986 to include vaccines against seasonal influenza within the definition of taxable vaccines.

As is the case with all government “trust funds,” there is no cash set aside to pay out claims. According to the November 2012 report on the vaccine trust, the $3.5 billion balance is invested in “US Treasury Securities.” In other words, financing a portion of the $16.5 trillion national debt.

Video: Planned Parenthood Official Argues for Right to Post-Birth Abortion

This is from The Weekly Standard.

The Planned Parenthood crowd is making Josef Mengele proud.

How did these people sleep at night?

I have used this scripture before as it fits these people.

I hope there is a special place in Hell for these people.

Proverbs 6:16-18

King James Version (KJV)

16 These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:

17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,

Florida legislators considering a bill to require abortionists to provide medical care to an infant who survives an abortion were shocked during a committee hearing this week when a Planned Parenthood official endorsed a right to post-birth abortion.

Alisa LaPolt Snow, the lobbyist representing the Florida Alliance of Planned Parenthood Affiliates, testified that her organization believes the decision to kill an infant who survives a failed abortion should be left up to the woman seeking an abortion and her abortion doctor.

“So, um, it is just really hard for me to even ask you this question because I’m almost in disbelief,” said Rep. Jim Boyd. “If a baby is born on a table as a result of a botched abortion, what would Planned Parenthood want to have happen to that child that is struggling for life?”

“We believe that any decision that’s made should be left up to the woman, her family, and the physician,” said Planned Parenthood lobbyist Snow.

Rep. Daniel Davis then asked Snow, “What happens in a situation where a baby is alive, breathing on a table, moving. What do your physicians do at that point?”

“I do not have that information,” Snow replied. “I am not a physician, I am not an abortion provider. So I do not have that information.”

Rep. Jose Oliva followed up, asking the Planned Parenthood official, “You stated that a baby born alive on a table as a result of a botched abortion that that decision should be left to the doctor and the family. Is that what you’re saying?”

Again, Snow replied, “That decision should be between the patient and the health care provider.”

“I think that at that point the patient would be the child struggling on the table, wouldn’t you agree?” asked Oliva.

“That’s a very good question. I really don’t know how to answer that,” Snow said. “I would be glad to have some more conversations with you about this.”

Later another representative asked Snow, “What objection could you possibly have to obligate a doctor to transport a child born alive to a hospital where it seems to me they would be most likely to be able to survive?”

Snow said Planned Parenthood was concerned about “those situations where it is in a rural health care setting, the hospital is 45 minutes or an hour away, that’s the closest trauma center or emergency room. You know there’s just some logistical issues involved that we have some concerns about.”

You can watch the full exchange at the 39-minute mark of this video.
