The city of Stockton, California went bankrupt in 2012 yet it now has the money to do this silly universal basic income.

Residents to get $500 a month, no questions asked, as starting point.

The mayor of Stockton, California, is leading an experiment with “universal basic income,” which is set to start by giving low-income residents $500 a month, no questions asked.

Mayor Michael Tubbs calls his city “ground zero” for issues like wage stagnation, rising housing prices and loss of middle-class jobs that affect the nation.

The Central Valley city went bankrupt in 2012, and for decades it has been trying to diversify its agriculture-based economy.

“I feel that as mayor it’s my responsibility to do all I could to begin figuring out what’s the best way to make sure that folks in our community have a real economic floor,” Tubbs said.

Dorian Warren serves as co-chairman the Economic Security Project, which is contributing $1 million to the initiative. He said the goal is to gather data on the economic and social impacts of giving people a basic income.

In addition to tracking what residents do with the money, Warren said they will be monitoring how a basic income affects things like self-esteem and identity.

“What does it mean to say, ‘Here is unconditional guaranteed income just based on you being a human being?’” Warren asked.

The hope is to demonstrate the potential of “universal basic income,” or UBI, as it is being called, and to encourage other places to give it a try. UBI has recently gotten a boost from Silicon Valley moguls concerned about income inequality and the future of society, but the idea isn’t actually all that new, said Michelle Anderson, a Stanford law professor.

“UBI was first pitched by Nixon as an answer to post-industrial job losses,” she said.

With this experiment, Anderson said Stockton may discover it gets more economic stimulus by giving money to its citizens rather than corporations it hopes will bring in jobs and tax revenue.

“The UBI that is being proposed in Stockton now is very small compared to the big corporate subsidies that cities like that engage in,” Anderson said.

Stockton racked up millions in debt on development projects in the past, which got the city into trouble, said Tubbs.

“We’ve overspent on things like arenas and marinas and things of that sort to try to lure in tourism and dollars that way,” he said.

Tubbs thinks the UBI experiment will show that Stockton’s best bet is to invest in its own people.

This is the same Mohammed Ali that spoke at Ku Klux Klan rallies in favor of segregation.

Ali also said white and black couples should be lynched.

Ali was an ignorant racist buffoon.

Legendary boxer said blacks superior to ‘blue-eyed devil white people’

A release of FBI files on the late Muhammad Ali sheds damning new light on the legendary boxer’s views about race and politics after immersing himself in the teachings of the Nation of Islam.

Ali referred to Caucasians as “white devils” and “crackers” and told mosque worshipers that “black women have the best sons and daughters in the world,” according to Federal Bureau of Investigation records obtained by Judicial Watch through a Freedom of Information lawsuit.

Ali, known as Cassius Clay before converting to Islam, also said “programs of integration are useless,” that blacks want separation not integration and that the 1964 Civil Rights Act was a “swindle.”

The three-time heavyweight champ also told fellow Muslims during a mosque rant that “the so-called Negro is the original man and is superior to the white devil” and that he’d rather be with his own people than “blue-eyed devil white people,” JW reported.

“The FBI files present a picture of the late heavyweight champion that is clearly at odds with much of the image portrayed at the time of his death last year,” the JW report concludes in its evaluation of the files, adding:

His deep involvement with the Nation of Islam and its racially divisive rhetoric and behavior is part of a record that deserves to be revealed and contradicts Ali’s image as a civil rights icon. The hundreds of pages of documents are related to the FBI’s investigation of Ali for evading the draft and the government’s monitoring of the Nation of Islam, which is described by the agency as an “all-Negro, quasi-religious organization which espouses a line of violent hatred of the white race, Government, law and law enforcement.”

According the one FBI document, Ali told a crowd of Muslims gathered at a Washington, D.C., mosque that he preferred “dying outright” or going to jail to going into the Army.

At a Cleveland mosque, the boxer said the American flag “represented death and destruction,” but the “Muslim flag” represents “life and prosperity, justice for all black men.”

Ali was eulogized by former President Obama, the Rev. Jesse Jackson and many other iconic civil rights leaders and media personalities after his death in June 2016.

As recently as July 2015, current Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan encouraged his followers to kill white cops in an explosive speech delivered at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Miami. Astonishingly, WND inquired at the time with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for South Florida, which told WND that Farrakhan’s instruction for followers to “stalk them and kill them and let them feel the pain that we are feeling” fell squarely within the realm of protected First Amendment speech and did not cross any legal boundaries.

The records obtained by Judicial Watch reveal the great threat the FBI perceived the Nation of Islam to be in the 1960s. And as a member of that organization, Ali was closely monitored by the agency as a “security matter” due to his associations with Nation of Islam leaders Elijah Mohammad and Malcolm X.

The Nation of Islam followed Mohammad’s interpretation of the Quran, the FBI records say, which taught that white people are “white devils” to be destroyed in a coming “War of Armageddon.”

In April 1964, Ali’s plan to travel to Muslim countries alarmed the FBI to the extent that agents searched his passport files and recorded that while in Accra, Ghana, Ali said he planned to bring four wives back to the U.S.

Jack Cashill, author of the Ali biography “Sucker Punch: The Hard Left Hook that Dazed Ali and Killed King’s Dream,” said Ali was transformed from a solid American kid into an anti-American extremist by the Nation of Islam.

“You don’t need the FBI to know that Ali held racist views,” Cashill told WND. “As late as 1975, Ali was telling Playboy magazine that he believed interracial couples should be lynched.”Cashill was one of several guests last year on ESPN’s “The Stephen A. Smith Show” who spent an hour discussing Ali. NFL great Jim Brown was also one of the guests, along with Thomas Hauser, who wrote the definitive biography on Ali, “Muhammad Ali: His Life and Times.”

“I said to Hauser, who really knows his stuff, it seems to me the left had no use for Ali, and it definitely had no interest in boxing, which is a working-class, sort of blue-collar sport, and the left had no interest in him until he dodged the draft.”

The theory Cashill puts forth in his book is that Cassius Clay had a chance to advance race relations well beyond any of his peers.

“But instead he joined Nation of Islam, and he was a pariah in the media until he rejected the draft,” Cashill said. “I think it was a phase he went through. He was not naturally a racist at all. And that’s why he was so attractive as a personality. He grew up in a nice sort of middle-class household in Kentucky.”

His contemporary, heavyweight boxer Joe Frasier, acutely felt the sting of Ali’s racist wrath. Ali called Frazier “ugly,” an “Uncle Tom” and a “gorilla.”

Who from that era can forget Ali leaning over Howard Cosell and saying: “It’s going to be a thrilla in Manila when I kill that gorilla.’”

Frazier reportedly never forgave Ali for the comments.

“He had a horrible 10-year period as a human being and the left celebrated him for it, all because he ducked the draft,” Cashill told WND.

‘America don’t have no future’

Ali gave a “curiously intemperate interview” to Playboy, as Cashill describes it, that would appear a month after his Manila fight.

In that interview, he continued to make the case for a separate African-American nation and declared: “America don’t have no future. America’s going to be destroyed.”

In his book “Sucker Punch,” Cashill said that kind of incendiary talk “was still rote Elijah Muhammad.”

“By the mid-1970s, such expressions of national self-loathing had ceased to be provocative. What did provoke in this newly feminized era was his view on sex and gender.”

Cashill further observed:

In comparing Muslims to the allegedly war-worshipping Christians, Ali made the point that Muslims “live their religion – we ain’t hypocrites.” He continued, “We submit entirely to Allah’s will. We don’t eat ham, bacon, or pork. We don’t smoke. And everyone knows we honor our women.” As he went on to explain, Muslim men honor their women by keeping them “in the background” and protecting them from the predations of other men, especially white men. “Put a hand on a Muslim sister,” said Ali, “and you are to die.” When asked if he believed that lynching was the answer to interracial sex, Ali answered, “A black man should be killed if he’s messing with a white woman.”

Ali came into his own as a sports icon during what Cashill calls the era of the “grievance narrative,” which emerged in the latter half of the 1960s following the death of John F. Kennedy. America’s black sports heroes would forever after be defined by their grievances of growing up “a descendant of slaves” and post-slavery oppression, rather than by their unique accomplishments.

In a series of articles about Ali, Cashill further writes:

The heroic possibilities of the grievance narrative did not fully emerge until the latter half of the decade after the death of John Kennedy and the escalation of the war in Vietnam. As told by those who have mythologized the sixties, the youth of America rose up to throw off the shackles of racial paternalism, sexual repression, and imperial ambition. In this context, heroism was achieved not so much through individual accomplishment as through individual awareness of grievances and a collective reordering of the society.

Ali came as close to fulfilling this idea of the hero as any public figure of that era. Indeed, as seen through the looking glass of this fabled decade, his life has taken on the quality of myth.

Fleeced by the mosque

Ali’s ex-wife, Sonji Roi, informed the FBI that the Nation of Islam received 80 percent of the boxer’s earnings. The records obtained by Judicial Watch also state that Ali was arrested for assault and battery in July 1960 at his parents’ home in Louisville, Kentucky, and that his mother witnessed the crime.

Judicial Watch had to sue the government to get the records, which are decades old but come to light as Ali’s family ironically uses his name and legacy to launch a national campaign to end racial and religious profiling.

Just weeks ago, according to JW, Ali’s second wife, Khalilah Camacho-Ali, and son, Muhammad Ali Jr., announced they are launching an anti-discrimination initiative called “Step into the Ring.”

The inspiration for the campaign came from getting detained and questioned at a South Florida airport where mother and son claim they were racially and religiously profiled.

“The Alis were returning from a Jamaican Black History month event in February and assert that federal immigration officers harassed them,” JW reported. “As part of their ‘Step into the Ring’ campaign, they traveled to Capitol Hill in March to make a plea to end racial and religious profiling.”

When Ali died in Phoenix, Arizona, last June, establishment media published glowing obituaries recounting his boxing exploits and status as a civil rights hero. One news outlet called Ali a “civil rights champion” and “an emblem of strength, eloquence, conscience and courage.”

Another wrote that, along with a fearsome reputation as a fighter, Ali spoke out against racism, war and religious intolerance.

Obama issued a statement saying Ali fought for everyone.

“He stood with King and Mandela,” Obama said in a White House statement, adding that the boxer “stood up when it was hard; spoke out when others wouldn’t.”

“His fight outside the ring would cost him his title and his public standing,” Obama said. “It would earn him enemies on the left and the right, make him reviled, and nearly send him to jail. But Ali stood his ground. And his victory helped us get used to the America we recognize today.”

But the other side of Ali’s life is apparent in the newly released FBI files, which, as Judicial Watch states, “paint a vastly different portrait of the boxer.”

How many posters advocating the assassination of Barack Hussein Obama were found in high schools in 2008 and 2012?

That number is exactly zero.

What in the Hell  is wrong with people today?

Secret Service ‘not happy’ about incident

Ordean-East Middle School in Duluth, northeast Minnesota.

The U.S. Secret Service has been notified of an incident at Ordean-East Middle School in Duluth, Minnesota, in which a photo of President-elect Donald Trump was placed in a trophy case with the caption “You’re a dead man.”

Duluth was one of only two areas in Minnesota that voted heavily for Hillary Clinton, the other being Minneapolis-St. Paul. The rest of the state was solid red in voting for Trump, with the overall popular vote going to Clinton by a much more narrow margin than predicted by pollsters.

The principal of the school was notified of the threatening image only after it was brought to light on a local talk radio show Tuesday. It had been in the trophy case at least since Monday, said Tim Jezierski, a Duluth resident who was interviewed on AM 710 The Patriot, a Fox News affiliate.

he number 4 is used in place of the letter “a” while “u” is substituted for “you” and “r” is used in place of “are.”

Principal Gina Keive removed the picture immediately after the incident was exposed by the radio station and launched an investigation. She released a statement later in the week saying the perpetrators had been caught and will be disciplined according to the student handbook.

But Jezierski and others are wondering why the image was not seen and removed earlier.

“There were two pictures taken of this incident, the close-up of the ‘wanted’ picture and the second a more distant shot of the glass case. The first was taken at 5 p.m. Monday, the second at about 4 p.m. on Tuesday, showing it had been there at least 24 hours.”

The display case sits in a high-traffic hallway right outside the school’s main office.

“We don’t know how long it was there, but we know it was at least since Monday, and people walked by this thing for a minimum of 24 hours and did not remove it,” Jezierski said.

The school sent a letter to parents Wednesday afternoon saying the students had been dealt with but the letter did not mention the nature of the crime.

“Because there is video monitoring, like in every school, the letter makes it appear they have caught the person or persons who have done this,” Jezierski said. “But, the question is, how many staff members saw it in that prominent of a spot and did nothing for 24 hours?”

Jezierski said the trophy cabinet was locked but somebody slid the threatening photo between two pieces of glass, so they would not have needed the key to pull off the stunt.

He was interviewed Tuesday by Brad Bennett, host of a local radio program called “Sound Off.”

“And the Secret Service is looking into this. They were notified and they were not happy,” he said. “We are an extreme union town, this is an old-fashioned union town.”

The use of numbers along with single letters to form words makes the message “a little cryptic,” he said. “But it’s not a real tough code to crack. And for kids these days in their texting “u” and “r” immediately means “you are.”

Local media ignores incident

Jezierski also forwarded the photos to KBJR TV 6 in Duluth, which ran one brief article on the incident.

The local newspaper, the Duluth News Tribune, buried the story, giving it a two-sentence mention in an unrelated story bashing Trump for his “anti-Muslim campaign rhetoric.”

“On Tuesday, a picture of Trump with an inflammatory message was found inside a trophy case at Ordean East Middle School,” the newspaper reported. “The school and its police resource officer are investigating.”

Hijab day at local Duluth high school

That local newspaper story, a warm and fuzzy feature about students and teachers donning hijabs to support a Muslim girl, contained many blatantly false statements such as “no one can force a Muslim woman to wear a hijab.” Apparently the author did not consult women in Saudi Arabia, Syria, Somalia, Afghanistan and practically every other country in the Middle East where Muslims rule.

And one teacher is quoted in the News-Tribune story saying the goal of the event was to “normalize” the wearing of the hijab by female students in Duluth.

In the days following the Nov. 9 announcement that Donald Trump had won the presidential election, Twitter and other social media were alight with threats to assassinate Trump and dozens of incidents have been documented of violence against Trump supporters. The FBI has reported no arrests for the assassination threats made openly on Facebook and Twitter.

Yet, when young Muslim refugees allegedly raped a little girl in Twin Falls, Idaho, this summer federal prosecutor Wendy J. Olson threatened to prosecute any member of the public who posted “false or inflammatory” information about the perpetrators.

After the jihadist attack that killed 14 people at a Christmas party in San Bernardino last year, Attorney General Loretta Lynch also threatened to prosecute anyone who made comments about Muslims that she considered “edging toward violence.”

But threatening the president-elect of the United States drew no such warnings from the Obama Justice Department.

Students, anarchists and other “protesters” filled the streets of Portland, Seattle, Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, Atlanta, New Orleans, Boston and other cities. Many of the protests turned violent, with cars set on fire, store windows smashed and flags burned.

Media complicit in spawning threats, attacks?

And many pundits and journalists in the mainstream media seemed to be egging on the violence in the days leading up to the election.

Washington Post editorial writer Richard Cohen compared Trump to Hitler.

In fact, Cohen is one of five Washington Post writers to compare Trump to Hitler, as WND previously reported.

And several media giants including NBC compared him this week to Stalin, saying Trump had initiated a “Stalinesque purge” of his transition team. They forgot to mention that Stalin’s purges usually ended with a bullet to the back of the head.

These sensational accusations only encourage the young, the mentally unstable and those who live in isolated left-wing communities to commit violence against Trump and Trump supporters, explains WND Executive Managing Editor David Kupelian in a recent column.

“So, what does this say about the Washington Post – and others in the “mainstream media” who consider themselves America’s arbiters of truth – continually comparing Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump with Hitler? Does such “journalism” legitimize threats and violent attacks on Trump and his supporters?

“If someone, God forbid – convinced he is a modern-day von Stauffenberg, heroically attempting to rid the world of this generation’s Hitler – were to shoot Donald Trump, would the Washington Post deserve any of the blame?

“I say yes.”

Jezierski said he was disappointed at the tone and content of the principal’s letter.

“She never says this was a threat against the president-elect of the United States. They don’t say it was a federal offense,” he said. “It was more like, ‘nothing to see here move along,’ a complete cover up.”

And the photo was not the only threat issued in Duluth this week.

In another incident, someone posted a threat on social media involving a bomb at an unnamed school in the city.

“They caught that person too and made an arrest of a person who made a threat in a chat room. A threat of violence against an unnamed Minnesota school.

The school principal, Klieve, released a statement Wednesday saying, “Sadly, (it’s) another example of the increase in inappropriate and unacceptable behavior related to the election that we’re working to address in our schools.”

Below is her statement in full:

We have so much to be proud of at OEMS. I commend our students and staff for continuing to focus on teaching and learning.

Unfortunately, students slid a threatening sign in between the glass doors of the trophy case, outside of the office on Monday late afternoon. It was not brought to our attention until Tuesday evening. At that time, it was immediately removed and we began an investigation. We were able to bring closure to the incident this afternoon and we followed district policy, with regards to the standards of conduct in the Family and Student Handbook.

Community members were aware of the sign, but did not alert anyone in the OE office. Instead, it became the focus of conversation on a public radio show this morning. I am sorry that such slanderous and judgmental comments were made of our school and staff. We do not condone or support hate in our school. We will continue to provide a safe, responsive and challenging learning environment.

The recent media communication from the Duluth Police Dept and Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is unrelated to the sign at Ordean East.

The safety of our students and staff is my highest priority. Thank you for working with me.

Loretta Lynch’s law firm tied to Hillary Clinton Read more at

This is from World Net Daily.

Is there any doubt the fix is in?

Attorney general holds authority to prosecute if FBI refers case.

NEW YORK – It’s well known that if the FBI recommends prosecution in the Hillary Clinton email case, the decision will be put in the hands of Attorney General Loretta Lynch.

But little known is the fact that Lynch was a litigation partner for eight years at a major Washington law firm that served the Clintons.

Lynch was with the Washington-headquartered international law firm Hogan & Hartson LLP from March 2002 through April 2010.

According to documents Hillary Clinton’s first presidential campaign made public in 2008, Hogan & Hartson’s New York-based partner Howard Topaz was the tax lawyer who filed income tax returns for Bill and Hillary Clinton beginning in 2004.

n addition, Hogan & Hartson in Virginia filed a patent trademark request on May 19, 2004, for Denver-based MX Logic Inc., the computer software firm that developed the email encryption system used to manage Clinton’s private email server beginning in July 2013. A tech expert has observed that employees of MX Logic could have had access to all the emails that went through her account.

In 1999, President Bill Clinton nominated Lynch for the first of her two terms as U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of New York, a position she held until she joined Hogan & Hartson in March 2002.

While there is no evidence that Lynch played a direct role either in the tax work done by the firm for the Clintons or in linking Hillary’s private email server to MX Logic, the ethics of the legal profession hold all partners jointly liable for the actions of other partners in a business.

“If Hogan and Hartson previously represented the Clintons on tax matters, it is incumbent upon U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch to [disclose] what, if any, role she had in such tax matters,” said Tom Fitton, president of Washington-based Judicial Watch.

His watchdog group is playing a leading role in pressing Freedom of Information Act litigation to obtain the release of Clinton’s email correspondence while she was secretary of state.

“If Lynch played any role at all regarding income tax work done for the Clintons by Hogan and Hartson, it would bolster the call for a special counsel should the FBI recommend prosecution in the Hillary Clinton email case,” Fitton said.

As WND reported earlier this month, former U.S. Attorney Joseph diGenova is confident Department of Justice prosecutors have convened a grand jury in the Hillary Clinton email case, based on comments from Attorney General Loretta Lynch.

In a press release March 20, 2002, Hogan & Hartson, currently known as Hogan Lovells after a May 2010 merger with a London-based law firm, announced Lynch had joined the firm’s New York office as a partner in the Litigation Practice Group, focusing her law practice on commercial litigation, white collar criminal defense and corporate compliance issues.

Then, in a an April 26, 2010, statement Hogan & Hartson announced Lynch had decided to return to her previous Justice Department job after being nominated by President Obama in February 2010 to become once again the U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of New York.

A report published April 8, 2008, by The American Lawyer noted Hogan & Hartson were among Hillary Clinton’s biggest financial supporters in the legal industry during her first presidential campaign.

“Firm lawyers and staff have donated nearly $123,400 to her campaign so far, according to campaign contribution data from the Center for Responsive Politics,” Nate Raymond observed in The American Lawyer article. “Christine Varney, a partner in Hogan’s Washington, D.C., office, served as chief counsel to the Clinton-Gore Campaign in 1992.”

Hogan & Hartson tie to MX Logic

As first reported by Patrick Howley on last August, Hogan & Hartson filed with the Commissioner for Trademarks in Virginia to abandon MX Logic’s application for the trademark SPAMTRAQ in a letter written on Hogan & Hartson stationary and signed by the firm’s Virginia-based attorney Audrey H. Reed on May 19, 2004.

On July 30, 2009, Internet security software giant McAfee Inc. announced it had entered into a definitive agreement to acquire MX Logic for $140 million in cash.

On March 4, 2015, CBS News reported that in November 2012, without explanation, Clinton’s private email account was reconfigured to use Google’s servers as a backup in case her own personal email server failed.

CBS further reported that in July 2013, five months after Clinton resigned as secretary of state, her private email server was reconfigured again to use a Denver-based commercial email provider, MX Logic, which was then owned by McAfee.

Email security under MX Logic questioned

Marc Perkel, a tech entrepreneur and former systems administrator at the Electronic Frontier Foundation, went on the record on March 16, 2015, explaining that employees at MX Logic, now owned by McAfee, “had full access” to all of Hillary Clinton’s classified emails in an unencrypted form.

“Email from the Internet is routed by DNS records called MX records, [which] are used to look up where to deliver email destined for a recipient,” Perkel wrote. “When someone uses a Spam Filtering service they point their MX records to that service and all email for that domain goes to the spam filtering service first – they clean it – and forward the good email on to the recipient server which is secret to the world

“What this means is that when Obama or anyone in the State Department emailed Hillary, the email went to MX Logic,” Perkel stressed. “It was then decrypted, checked for spam and viruses, and then reencrypted and sent over the open Internet to Hillary’s server. While it was at MX Logic it could be read, tapped, archived, or forwarded to anyone in the world without anyone knowing.”

Lynch’s role in HSBC money-laundering case

When Lynch’s nomination as attorney general was considered by the Senate one year ago, as WND reported, the Senate Judiciary Committee examined her role in the Obama administration’s decision not to prosecute the banking giant HSBC for laundering funds for Mexican drug cartels and Middle Eastern terrorists.

WND was first to report in a series of articles beginning in 2012 money-laundering charges brought by John Cruz, a former HSBC vice president and relationship manager, based on his more than 1,000 pages of evidence and secret audio recordings.

The staff of the Senate Judiciary Committee focused on Cruz’s allegations that Lynch, acting then in her capacity as the U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of New York, engaged in a Department of Justice cover-up. Obama’s attorney general nominee allowed HSBC to enter into a “deferred prosecution” settlement in which the bank agreed to pay a $1.9 billion fine and admit “willful criminal conduct” in exchange for dropping criminal investigations and prosecutions of HSBC directors or employees.

Cruz called the $1.92 billion fine the U.S. government imposed on HSBC “a joke” and filed a $10 million lawsuit for “retaliation and wrongful termination.”

California: ‘100 shots’ by men chanting ‘Allahu Akbar’

This is from World Net Daily.

How long before these goat humpers are leading others through California’s cities killing people?

Deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies responded to a report of “Allahu Akbar” chanting, turban-wearing men shooting assault rifles, handguns and shotguns in a remote desert area, officials have confirmed.

The incident took place Sunday in the Deep Creek Hot Springs area of Apple Valley, according to Victor Valley News.

The area is just north of the city of San Bernardino, where in December two Muslims attacked a Christmas party, killing 14 and injuring another 22. The two terrorists later died in a shootout with police.

In “Stop the Islamization of America: A Practical Guide to the Resistance,” renowned activist Pamela Geller provides the answer, offering proven, practical guidance on how freedom lovers can stop jihadist initiatives in local communities.

The Victor Valley News said witnesses told a 9-1-1 operator that more than 100 shots were heard, and five to seven subjects wearing turbans were seen in the area shooting assault rifles, handguns and shotguns.

The news site said a reporting party told dispatchers there were 15 or more possibly armed men “of Middle Eastern” descent who were camped out in the area, “chanting loudly through the night in what was believed to be their native language.”

Sheriff’s officers who arrived first said a number of men, when approached, grabbed their possessions and began hiking toward a parking lot.

“During the hike, the men reportedly huddled up in possible discussion and at one point split up into two groups,” the report said.

CBS reported the investigation involved both federal and local law-enforcement officers, and a total of 17 suspects.

“Officials say the men were cooperative as they were detained and searched,” CBS reported. “All 17 men were eventually released because sheriff’s investigators say they had no outstanding warrants or criminal histories.”

A sheriff’s spokesman said, “There was no evidence found that a crime had been committed by any of the subjects who were detained and they were released.

But reports also said the FBI may conduct further interviews.

Trump fires off preemptive attacks on Romney

This is from World Net Daily.

Mittens is a two time loser that could not win in a uncontested race for dog catcher.

It is time for him to STFU and go away.

Twitter: He’s a ‘failed candidate’ who ‘doesn’t know how to win’

Donald Trump, Republican front-runner, took to Twitter to fire off a range of preemptive attacks against former and failed presidential hopeful Mitt Romney – preemptive because of the widely reported and much-anticipated press conference the ex-governor is due to give Thursday morning about the billionaire’s White House aspirations.

In one post, Trump wrote: “Why did Mitt Romney BEG me for my endorsement four years ago?”

Another: “I am the only one who can beat Hillary Clinton. I am not a Mitt Romney, who doesn’t know how to win. Hillary wants no part of ‘Trump.’”

Romney lost his own presidential bid against President Obama in 2012, and again in 2008, during the Republican primary against Sen. John McCain.

In recent weeks, he’s taken to the public podiums to attack Trump, and call him a less-than-desirable candidate for the Republican Party. Advance excerpts of his planned Thursday morning speech include references to Trump as a “phony” and “fraud” who’s “playing the American public for suckers,” as WND reported.

Trump, who’s leading national polls and who just won big on Super Tuesday – bolstering his delegate count to 319 compared to second-place Sen. Ted Cruz’s 226 – has been fighting many within his own party for campaign respect.

In another tweet Thursday morning, he wrote: “I have brought millions of people into the Republican Party, while the Dems are going down. Establishment wants to kill this movement!”

And another: “Failed candidate Mitt Romney, who ran one of the worst races in presidential history, is working with the establishment to bury a big ‘R’ win!”

Yet one more: “Looks like two-time failed candidate Mitt Romney is going to be telling Republicans how to get elected. Not a good messenger!”

And another, shortly after Romney’s announced press conference made the media waves: “Just another desperate move by the man who should have easily beaten Barack Obama.”

Trump, who’s leading national polls and who just won big on Super Tuesday – bolstering his delegate count to 319 compared to second-place Sen. Ted Cruz’s 226 – has been fighting many within his own party for campaign respect.

Islamic invasion pulls trigger: Europe now scrambles for guns

This is from World Net Daily.

America the invasion of these goat humping savages are coming here.

Are you ready?

Austrians are arming themselves at record rates in an effort to defend their households against feared attacks from Muslim invaders.

Tens of thousands of Muslim “refugees” have poured into Austria from Hungary and Slovenia in recent months on their way to Germany and Sweden, two wealthy European countries that have laid out the welcome mat for migrants. More than a million will end up in Germany alone by the end of this year, according to estimates from the German government.

Obtaining a working firearm and ammunition in Germany, Britain, Denmark and the Netherlands is practically impossible for the average citizen. Germany, for instance, requires a psychological evaluation, the purchase of liability insurance and verifiable compliance with strict firearms storage and safety rules. And self-defense is not even a valid reason to purchase a gun in these countries.

The laws in Austria, while still strict, are a bit less overbearing.

A Czech TV report confirms that long guns – shotguns and rifles – have been flying off the shelves in Austria, and Austrians who haven’t already purchased a gun may not have a chance to get one for some time. They’re all sold out.

And those arming themselves are primarily women.

“If anyone wants to buy a long gun in Austria right now, too bad for them,” the Czech newscaster says. “All of them are currently sold out.”

He cites the Austrian news outlet Trioler Tageszeitung as the source of his report.

“We cannot complain about lack of demand,” Stephen Mayer, a gun merchant, told Trioler Tageszeitung.

He claims the stock has been sold out for the last three weeks and that demand is being fueled by fears generated by social changes.

“People want to protect themselves,” Mayer said. “Nonetheless, the most common purchasers of arms are primarily Austrian women.”

They are also buying pepper sprays, which Mayer said are in big demand among those who can’t get a gun.

Alan Gottlieb, executive vice president of the Second Amendment Foundation, said he recently returned from a gun rights event in Europe, where he sensed a change in attitude toward firearms.

“I just returned from a gun rights meeting in Belgium, and I can attest that all over Europe people now want the means to defend themselves,” Gottlieb told WND. “Self-defense is no longer a dirty word. In countries like Austria, where it is still legal to own a firearm, gun sales are at record levels. I can tell you first-hand that people in Europe now wish they had a Second Amendment.”

More potential new customers are entering the market than ever before, according to the Czech report.

Until the refugees started flooding Europe, it was mostly hunters and sport shooters who purchased firearms. Now, people are seeking weapons for self-defense because they are worried about their personal safety. Most have never used a gun before.

So-called “projectile weapons” are available in Austria under two classifications, C and D, which are rifles and shotguns. Every adult Austrian is legally able to apply for a weapons permit but must disclose to the government their reason for wanting to own a gun.

The Czech station cited an interview with a sociologist and an Austrian journalist, both of whom said the weapons purchases were based on unfounded fears about foreign migrants.

‘Something is very wrong here’

The Viennese sociologist, identified only as Mr. Gertler, said no such fears about migrants should ever be published by any Austrian news outlet.

A journalist named Wittinger said “something is very wrong here” if Austrians are buying guns to protect themselves against migrants.

“Shotguns will not, after all, solve any immediate problems, quite the contrary,” he said.

The Czech TV station then reported that Islamists are promising: “We will cut the heads off unbelieving dogs even in Europe.”

“Look forward to it, it’s coming soon!” the Czech newscaster said.

ISIS-trained jihadists are now returning as European citizens or they are trying to infiltrate as migrants. In one propaganda video an ISIS operative informs his comrades back home in Germany to slit the throats of unbelievers in Germany, Czech TV reports.

“Overall, the ministry of interior stated that Germany is in the cross-hairs of Islamic terrorists but that he does not have any indications of specific threats,” he said.

Bracing for another Islamic invasion

The Czech site reflects awareness of a major event in Western history, said Larry Pratt, executive director of Gun Owners of America.

“Polish King John Sobieski defeated the Muslim invaders at the gates of Vienna in 1683. Another Muslim invasion is underway and Austrians are alarmed, hence their run on gun stores,” Pratt told WND. “Women are right to be concerned in view of the Muslim view of women that they are good for raping and little else.”

The Czech TV report cited the Arab Spring as the root cause for the flood of Muslim migrants into Europe.

“More and more, the whole thing is turning into the situation that we will experience the much-touted Arab spring from very close up – right here at home,” the reporter said. “What’s more, many European are alienating large part of their own populace with unfortunate social and multicultural politics, merciless removal of children, unfair seizures and trading on traditional European values and with policies which are usually less friendly toward conservative and traditional native inhabitants and leans toward that portion of inhabitants who have little trouble with globalization and nonchalant liberalization, removal of traditions and Islamization. Yet we will not be able to rely on it, that portion of (population) once the Arab Spring comes here. And that will probably be, as they say, closing the barn after the cows are gone.”

Obama’s 6 biggest lies about Iran nuke deal

This from World Net Daily.

As we all know Obama is a pathological liar.

Exclusive: Chuck Norris exposes major deceptions of president’s agreement.

President Obama has been campaigning for the Iran nuclear deal like he’s running for a third term. But, unfortunately, because of his naivety and lack of experience on foreign policy, he is completely wrong.

Let me highlight six Obama statements about the Iran nuclear agreement that are complete exaggerations.

1) President Obama said, “I’ve had to make a lot of tough calls as president, but whether or not this deal is good for American security is not one of those calls. It’s not even close.”

“Not even close”?

He just said Friday, “the vast majority of experts on nuclear proliferation have endorsed this deal. The world is more or less united …”

But 200 retired generals and admirals completely disagreed as they sent a letter to Congress last week urging lawmakers to reject the Iran nuclear agreement, which they said “would threaten the national security and vital interests of the United States.”

Are we to assume that most of them are not in any respect “experts on nuclear proliferation”? And are we gullible enough to believe that the commander in chief knows more about military strategy and American security than 200 retired generals and admirals?

And what about other notable experts who disagree? As one editorial piece noted: “Michael Hayden, former CIA director; Dennis Ross, longtime Mideast negotiator; Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff; David Albright, former nuclear weapons inspector and president of the Institute for Science and International Security; and Olli Heinonen, the International Atomic Energy Agency’s former deputy director general for safeguards, have all expressed reservations about the deal.”

2) President Obama said, “Because this is such a strong deal, every nation in the world that has commented publicly – with the exception of the Israeli government – has expressed support.”

But the Wall Street Journal reported that “Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates – are just as distraught” as Israel about the Iran nuclear deal.

Mishaal al-Gergawi, managing director of the Delma Institute in Abu Dhabi and a prominent Emirati political commentator, explained: “A lot of the Gulf countries feel they are being thrown under the bus. The Gulf thought it was in a monogamous relationship with the West, and now it realizes it’s being cheated on because the U.S. was in an open relationship with it.”

Obama’s “with the exception of the Israeli government” comment is not only a ginormous snub to our greatest ally in the Middle East but an affront to the fact that Israel has been threatened repeatedly with genocide by Iranian leaders.

Jerusalem is 970 miles from Tehran, which is roughly the distance between Washington, D.C., and the islands of the Bahamas – just 50 miles off the Florida coast. If the Bahamas were a hostile state to Washington with a long history of threatening to eradicate the U.S. capital from the planet, do you think anyone in Washington would concede to give the Bahamas nuclear power?

Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is absolutely right when he calls the Iran deal a grave travesty and threat for not only Israel but also a “historic mistake for the world.”

He said, “The desire to sign an agreement was stronger than everything else. … Wide-ranging concessions were made in all of the areas which should have prevented Iran from getting the ability to arm itself with a nuclear weapon.”

3) The president initially said International Atomic Energy Agency, or IAEA, inspectors would be allowed to “access any suspicious location” in Iran. He then backpedaled and limited it, saying, “Inspectors will be allowed daily access to Iran’s key nuclear sites. If there is a reason for inspecting a suspicious, undeclared site anywhere in Iran, inspectors will get that access, even if Iran objects. This access can be with as little as 24 hours’ notice.”

But the truth is, Obama’s “anytime, anywhere” inspections is a bunch of smoke-and-mirror sales pitches to get the American public and legislators to buy the agreement.

First, even the president confessed: “And while the process for resolving a dispute about access can take up to 24 days, once we’ve identified a site that raises suspicion, we will be watching it continuously until inspectors get in.”

However, the Wall Street Journal did an investigation into the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action released by the Obama administration and it “reveals that its terms permit Iran to hold inspectors at bay for months, likely three or more.”

Now, imagine what a drug dealer could do with a warning 90 days before a law-enforcement raid.

The White House noted: “Right now, Iran has nearly 20,000 centrifuges between their Natanz and Fordow facilities. But under this deal, Iran must reduce its centrifuges to 6,104 for the next ten years.”

Ten years?! That’s two-and-a-half presidential terms or cycles. And we expect the No. 1 terrorist-recruiting Islamic nation in the world to comply and not play a shell game with centrifuges over that 10-year period?

The White House again was wrong when it stated, “International inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will not only be continuously monitoring every element of Iran’s declared nuclear program, but they will also be verifying that no fissile material is covertly carted off to a secret location to build a bomb. … Basically, from the minute materials that could be used for a weapon comes out of the ground to the minute it is shipped out of the country, the IAEA will have eyes on it and anywhere Iran could try and take it.”

So, we are supposed to believe that, despite not being on the ground full-time, the IAEA, will be omniscient and omnipresent so as to detect any movement of any materials at any time outside the country, even though it will fight to get into the country to inspect anything in less than three months? Can you say, pipe dream?!

And if you think the preceding sounds bogus, consider that the Associated Press just discovered a “secret agreement” between the IAEA and the United Nations and reported this about the discovery: “Iran will be allowed to use its own inspectors to investigate a site it has been accused of using to develop nuclear arms, operating under a secret agreement with the U.N. agency that normally carries out such work.”

And, to add injury to insult, guess who will pay for those Iran inspectors to investigate their own nuclear facilities? You guessed: the American taxpayers have to pay more than $10 million a year.

Reuters reported, after the IAEA said it has a severe funding shortfall and would need extra monies, the U.S. mission in Vienna said in a statement: “The United States is committed to working with all (IAEA) member states to ensure the agency has the resources it needs to verify Iran’s nuclear-related commitments under the (July 14 agreement).”

The State Department echoed similar sentiment back in April: “The United States is committed to working with other IAEA member states to provide the agency the resources it needs to continue carrying out this [Joint Plan of Action]-related work.”

Imagine: Washington agreeing to force American taxpayers to pay for a rogue and terrorist-funding Islamic republic to inspect its own nuclear facilities while ignorantly hoping it doesn’t develop a nuclear bomb behind our backs.

We really have forgotten Sept. 11.

Write your representatives today and demand they reject the Iran nuclear agreement.

(Next week in Part 2, I will give three more examples of Obama’s misguidance and more evidence that the Iran nuclear agreement is bad news for the U.S. and world, how Iran will continue to build a nuclear bomb despite a signed agreement, and, grievous among all the fallout, even if Congress does not sign an agreement, Iran will still be rewarded with at least $50 billion and up to $150 billion additional revenue to continue to fund terrorism against Israel, the West and the U.S. And Obama agrees it is best. Yes, you read that right!)
